Found this place because of the Pogo Pass and it was a nice surprise! It's a very large bounce house with multiple slides and plenty of room to run and play. Ideally, I think the right age is between 2 and 9 - our 11 year old grandson loved playing with his younger cousins, but it's mostly suited for the younger kids. Aside from the extremely large bounce house, they have about a half dozen video games that are FREE - which worked out great cause the kids would play in the bounce house awhile, then switch over to video games the back to the bounce house. If there is a slight downside, the dont have any food or beverages, but I saw several parents bringing snacks. Great bounce house that the grandkids enjoyed, so I'm sure we'll be back.

I brought my grandson and granddaughter here for their "fun place" time with me. They had lots of fun. Even though they do not have food you're able to bring your own in.

We recently had my son's birthday party here. The party package is fairly expensive and requires a 50% non-refundable deposit, so I expected a smooth experience. I purchased the package for 15 kids and 15 adults. The kids were provided juice boxes and small 8 oz water bottles, but drinks were not included for adults. The facility itself was pretty clean and our hostess was very nice and helpful. However, you only get two hours in the party room, and nearly half of that time is spent eating, singing happy birthday, and doing cake--so the actual playtime feels much shorter than what's advertised. The package stated 110 minutes of jump time, but after our room time ended, we went to the general area so the kids could jump longer. Within a few minutes we were asked to leave. I requested to speak with a manager, but no one ever came. After waiting around for some time, we just decided to leave, which was frustrating given how much the party cost. Overall, while the facility was nice and the hostess did her part, the experience didn't match what was promised in the package, and the lack of management follow-up left us disappointed.

I visited this place on Saturday. I'm a mom of a 21-month-old, so I go to all the baby playgrounds in the area. For example, there were Super Play, Kids Empire, Uptown Jungle, Baby Bear, and Fun Box. I've also recommended Fun Box to moms with similar babies because they had good experiences. However, starting this Saturday, I won't be going here, and I won't be recommending it. The reason is the attitude of the female team leader. When I entered, she was washing the windows, and I had to wait at the register until she finished. The charge she gave me was $44.51. I've been here at least seven times and have never paid that amount. I explained this to the female team leader, but she just said it was a mistake made by all the previous employees. I told her that the male manager did the same, but he just said it was a mistake and made me feel like I was lying. I refused to come in and asked for a refund, but she said no.i didn't go in.They said they would give you a one-time coupon if you want.i didn't take coupon.I was shocked. So I called all the moms I recommended who had been there, and no one had ever paid for it. The reason I'm writing this review is so that moms who had a great time and took the time to drive their babies there don't have to go through the same experience I did. I will never go there again.

I decided to take my 2 kids here on their last day of spring break, so it was a Monday. It was extremely busy mid day. It is very chaotic and very little supervision. There are a lot of older kids that run freely and are not careful for the younger ones. Once in a while a staff member walks around but it is not a regular thing. They are expecting parents to supervise. It is also very warm in the building. I cannot imagine what summer would feel like here. There are a couple good slides and random stuff for them to do. It is dirty though. I was walking around with my kids and there are clumps of hair and fuzz everywhere! We came 2 hours after opening, so there is no way they are cleaning regularly. See my pictures. They also didn't have socks. One size, the littlest one and that was it. I ordered ahead of time online, so they said I could have a free ice cream to make up for no socks. So I guess the rule of only their socks does not apply. Overall, I saw 4 employees total working and 2 just standing at the front, so it is staffed well. I will not be bringing my kids back due to the temperature and the lack of cleanliness.

Men's restroom in rough shape

Fun place for the kids. Little pricey. Nasty restrooms, needs some janitorial & plumbing attention.......

It was really fun will be back. Great place to bring kids after school. Park needs to pay more attention on cleanliness both washroom and bouncy park

Cute LED background, the free arcade on the right, and birthday pricing on the left.

Overall it's really cool. 2 and below get in for free and they have a tiny toddler center (4 and below) that is safe from the big kids and would keep them pretty occupied. The entire place is a bounce house, so I'd say about 10,000 sqft. I was surprised at how clean everything was and how incredibly helpful and friendly the staff were. The 'arcade' is mostly free, aside from the claw machines, it's just a few games, but you can play them unlimited which is cool. We went on a Sunday around 5:45 and got to stay till 7:30 when they closed, which is 15 min longer than the 90 min we paid for. I'd say there was about 50-75 people in there and it was not overly crowded at all. There is enough sitting area I'd say for about 50 people. There's lots of little cool things in there, and we had an absolute blast. I could see how on a super busy day, it would be a bit much, but definitely still worth checking out! Thanks for the awesome time Funbox!

It's $40/$41 if you buy a water part ticket before you visit. $41/42 if you buy the day of. That's really expensive for a water park only open for 5 hours AND only half of it being open. Only the Sunsplash part was open and all the slides weren't. All the Golfland side of the water park was closed. They should have off season prices. If you decide to take advantage of all the other activities AND the waterpark for the day they have a pass that's $50/$51 if you buy before the day you go and $51/52 if you buy the day of. That does indeed make it a lot more worth it but they still should have off season prices. And honestly... if the prices I saw WERE off season prices and they only go up, that is crazy. CRRRRAAAAAZZZZZYYYYYYYY. I swear when I was younger you used to be able to bring in your own food. I gotta think when Covid happened and they were closed for over an entire season that they hurt so bad they stopped letting people bring their own food in? Maybe it was before that. I had not been in so long, the last time I remember going for a full day was 7 years ago, not including when I worked a cannabis event 3 years ago and attended another cannabis event there 5 ? Years ago. Just referring to the water park. I also remember way back In the day there used to be a subway. And you can't enter from the water park entrance anymore unless you go to the castle to get a wristband first. So you can't pay at the ticket counter at the water park anymore. That looks long shut down? Maybe just for off season idk. The prices are crazy and you can't bring your own food in. What about people with dietary restrictions? They'd probably get a lot more business if they let people bring their own food in. But to spend so much money to go and then spend so much more to eat, especially in this economy probably discourages people from visiting. AZ diamondbacks chase stadium started letting people bring their own food in and sales skyrocketed. I'm sure if enough people complained they'd do something. The laser tag game was lame. My gun didn't work for crap. My husbands gun and vest didn't work at all so they spend half the 10 minute game trying to get something for him to work so the never turned the lights down or turned the music on and we just walked around with lights and silence. It seems as if this place has gone up in price and down in quality. They had money to make a new slide maybe thinking that would bring more people in but I'm not sure it's really going to. But have to up charge for everything and not allow food in because they don't make enough money because Covid happened?? Okay.. The memberships they have aren't bad tho honestly. If you live close, they could definitely be worth it. They offer you a monthly pass for $19/m which gives you a discount on a pass that grants access to the water park. If you decide to pay for that, after your first year of having the monthly pass, you get the water park pass for free the next year. But how they suck you in is if you cancel ever, you'd have to do it all over again. Along time ago the membership options were way better. My kiddo was grandfathered into the old program with the old price. (which is how I know) They also sucked those people in, if they ever cancel they can never get that price back. You can't find the membership options on the app, you have to use the website. All the employees are kids. Seems like a good place to get a first time job. There are 3 different golf courses, bumper cars and boats and race carts plus the arcade and laser tag. It was a fun day but there was a lot to say and improvement that this place could get. It's old and needs a little fine tuning. Not a new waterslide ha.

Now my buddy this man reaches into his pocket and pulls out what I can only describe as a historical artifact. I'm talking a doobie so big it looked like Bob Marley himself rolled it during a greatest hits tour. I said, "Absolutely not. I am a grown man. I got responsibilities. I got a mortgage. I got snacks at home I haven't even finished yet." That didn't matter. Next thing I know, windows are up, car turns into a Dutch oven of bad decisions, and now I'm just along for the ride literally and spiritually. Somewhere between "this is a bad idea" and "why is everything funny," I lost control of the evening. We pull into the park around that magical time you know, that in-between hour... not quite day, not quite night... like God dimmed the lights and said, "Alright boys, let's see what happens." The whole place is glowing neon lights, arcade buzz, roller coasters rattling in the distance. Felt like walking into a carnival dream... or maybe a fever dream. Jury's still out. Now here's the thing about this place it's been around since the late '70s, sitting right there in Phoenix like a desert time capsule of fun. You got four roller coasters, including the Desert Storm, which sounds fun until you're on it reconsidering every life choice that led you there. Then there's the Patriot wooden, loud, and about as gentle as a bar fight. And somehow... SOMEHOW... we thought tequila beforehand was a good idea. So now we're buzzed, slightly baked against our will, and wandering this park like three philosophers who lost their notes. We're laughing at everything. Nothing's funny but everything's hilarious. A trash can? Comedy gold. A churro? Best thing I've ever eaten in my life. A child running past me? I'm emotionally invested in his journey. But I'll give credit where it's due the park itself? Clean. Staff's friendly. Nobody's judging three grown men giggling like idiots. It's got that old-school charm too arcades, mini golf, rides, the whole deal. You can bring a family here... or whatever version of a situation we were. Now the rides... oh, the rides. Let me tell you something nothing will make you rediscover fear like being slightly out of your mind on a roller coaster you thought you could handle. I got scared... not once... not twice... but a few times. The kind of scared where you start making promises to God you don't intend to keep. "I'll be a better man if I survive this drop..." Didn't mean a word of it. By the end of the night, we had the munchies, the laughs, and just enough dignity left to get back to the car without needing a group meeting. For a couple hours, though? We were kids again. No responsibilities. No stress. Just lights, noise, and pure, ridiculous fun. So yeah Castles N' Coasters might be a family amusement park... but under the right or completely wrong circumstances, it turns into one hell of a story. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Just... maybe crack a window on the way there.

That one actually did eat my dollar. I guess it made up for it because a couple people abandoned their games downstairs in the middle, so the bf and I played for "free". It was on someone else's dime, but I guess that counts, too. We got nachos and drinks from the snack bar. Service was quick. As with any family fun event center, food was a bit overpriced. The female bathroom was nasty. I don't know how often they clean them, but there was paper all over the stall floor. The faucets had a lot of buildup on them. Both the male and female restrooms smelled funky. I didn't play at the putt putt section, but one day I'll be back to do that. Overall, a good arcade/food experience. I'd recommend this place to people. I cannot comment on any of the rides/attractions besides the arcade.

It was the first haunted house area I went to this season. I was most impressed by the passion of the hired actors. They really got into character and the costumes were great too. There were 2 haunted house options open the night I went. The overall grounds for a bit rough after the recent heavy rains. The place overall had a backwoods, abandoned construction site vibe to it. Going through two of the three haunted houses took less than an hour including waiting in line. The design of the haunted houses was good. A few jumpscares and definitely creepy characters. Smaller national bands and some local artists graced a smaller stage as well. Top notch entertainment was everywhere this year. Megan the Bubbleologist amazed with her bubbles, Mango and Dango added excitement with their music and dancing, the Cup Guy dazzled with his juggling skills, Off-Axis Stunt Shows were fantastic in three separate shows - BMX, trampoline, and diving. You really have no other choice but to park in their lot given that it's basically out there on it's own in Chandler. It's about a 30-minute walk from Gila Casino. Rawhide is a "Western Town." While there isn't any historical context, Rawhide is made to look like an old Western town, dusty roads and saloon-style buildings included. The aesthetic is pretty cool. And it's spacious too. The logistics with the parking situation and getting your shoes dusty, not so much. Depending on the event, there might be vendors selling food, drinks, and more. After moving to Phoenix earlier this year, a few months later I went to a fair in Scottsdale. It was severely underwhelming. So, given that experience, and my high standard, I didn't have high hopes for the Arizona State Fair. Boy was I wrong! I went twice. Once on a Sunday afternoon and once on a Sunday evening (September and October). First off, the Fair isn't located in the best part of Phoenix. All good. A lot of businesses are looking to make an extra buck by charging you for parking to park in their lot. Avoid it. You can find free parking on the side streets close to the Fair without much difficulty. Admission is roughly $18. Now for the experience. First, the food. When you go to a fair, you better not eat a salad. It's about indulgence. It's about ridiculous food. It's about classic fair food like turkey legs and corn dogs. It's about BBQ. It's about sweet treats like fried Oreos. On both visits, I left with a full stomach. Mission accomplished. The first time around, I had some mac and cheese with BBQ pulled pork and green onions. Plus some pineapple soft serve. On my second visit, I went a little overboard and had a classic salted pretzel, some elote, colossal fries, and some soft serve vanilla ice cream. The colossal curly fries are exactly what I'm talking about! I'm not one to back down from the challenge, but talk about a haul. I ate a good amount and barely made a dent. It could easily feed a family of four. Most of the food is decently priced for a carnival. There are some outliers like $20+ for a cup of strawberries with Dubai chocolate (I know it's a trend but this is highway robbery!) Next, the drinks. On my first visit, I had a beer. On my second visit, some strawberry lemonade. You'll find a lot of refreshments, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Beer, cocktails, lemonades (including ones in baby bottles), agua frescas, and pretty much any refreshment you can think of. Next up, the livestock. You'll have the opportunity to pet and see farm animals including horses, goats, pigs, longhorns, llamas, and more. There was even a talking parrot show on my first visit. Pretty cool. Finally, the entertainment. There are concerts, not a lot of big names (the biggest one I recognized this year was 2Chainz). Beyond the dedicated concerts, there's live music. There's a bunch of carnival rides, both for kids and thrill seekers. There are carnival games. There's shopping. Rodeo art. Vendors like Panda Express giving away freebies for downloading their app. You get the picture. There's plenty to do, both as an adult and if you have kids. And even some Halloween-related stuff. Stay until the sun sets to see the Fair lit up. They even had some drone fireworks the first time. Impressive. Overall, I had a great time. I'll mention one more thing. When I attended in September, they gave me a booklet. The booklet included free admission for a return visit in October as well as coupons for a bunch of vendors. That's part of what brought me back. Smart business.
