I have always wanted to sign up for a class at this place but they sell out soooo fast. I was finally able to sign up for an embroidery class for this past Saturday and I brought along my friend. Parking was plenty as there are spaces in the back. I walked on in and the kind instructor checked me in. The class started a few minutes late because we waited on a few people to arrive. The class was difficult as we had never done embroidery before. The instructor let us know at the start that this project was something that we were not going to finish during the 2 hour class. I wish the website would've mentioned that because if we had known, we would not have taken the class. We went home disappointed with our unfinished projects and I already forgot how to even begin....... I barely made a dent when in the class as it was struggle to grasp the concept right away. The instructor was nice, helpful, and patient though and walked around assisting as much as she could.
My coworker and I attended a class a few weeks ago. We really enjoyed ourselves. Everything was well organized upon arrival. We were warmly welcomed. The instruction was at a good pace, the instructor was helpful and informative, and we could see her painting easily from our seats. The building is well lit and comfortable. Drinks were served quickly. Pricing is reasonable. I'll definitely go back. It was a fun Friday night.

Pretty cool spot to relax and enjoy a variety of classes including painting, cookie decorating, etc. Me and my boyfriend recently went to a cookie decorating class and really enjoyed doing something new. The instructor was clear and overall easy to follow although I'm not running to start a bake shop. You can purchase wine and other beverages. Seems like a great spot for dates with your girlfriends, kids, and partner.
Perfect venue for a baby shower. I wish they provided more than 30 min to setup because unless you have very minimal decor/ food, you'll need to pay a decent fee to get in an hour prior (vs 30 min) to your start time. We had a balloon arch, food, table floral, favors, and a few other small things with 5 people and we had 5 minutes to spare prior to guests arrival. Other than that, everything was great. The host/bartender was very kind, the venue was setup just as we asked and it went super well.
Anyone can and will be an artist here. I went by myself and it was still fun. They help you step by step. I've done 2 classes and going to do another with my daughters
I haven't been here in a while bc of Covid, but I realized I never left a review! I have been to The Art House a handful of times in the past two years and I LOVE it! I've had classes with Kendall and Morgan. They're both lovely humans. They're friendly, kind, and go out of their way to make sure everyone is having a good time and being successful with their painting. They take you step by step so you can be a complete novice and walk away feeling accomplished. They teach in a way that is easy to follow and beginner friendly. I'm experienced in art but still love going to learn new techniques, so it's great for those who know their way around a brush and those who don't! Both of these ladies are very encouraging and complimentary. You just feel good after leaving a class. Their positive energy is infectious. It's fun to go with people of course, but I always go solo (the artists also are great at taking awesome photos for social media LOL) and still have a good time! I love how the owners allow original designs by the artists which further supports the artists and it's not the same more generic style that other similar businesses have. I think one of the best parts is that this is a local business, not a chain, so you get to support the Gilbert community! They also offer other classes beside painting and usually have camps for kids. They've also been offering virtual classes, which I've done and it was also a good experience. 10/10 would recommend and I can't wait to get back when Covid is a thing of the past!

Had so much fun with my mom!! A great girls day in downtown Gilbert! Had an amazing instructor that was super helpful and kind! :) And to top it all off we both ended with a cute, one of a kind, and trendy piece of art to take home!

This is such a cool idea, I think every city should have something like this. I forgot to take a photo of the ending, though learning how to decorate a cake is pretty cool. The teacher was amazing, helpful. Will come again. read more

My friend and I had so much fun during our watercolor class at the Art House! The instructor made it easy to follow along and came around throughout the class to help and offer advise as needed. Loved the free snacks and bar inside where drinks can be purchased. Our wine even came in a cute little souvenir glass we got to take home. Everyone was so friendly and the environment was very upbeat and fun. Great variety of classes offered, can't wait to get back for another one soon! read more

What a great Sunday spent at The Art House in Gilbert! I helped plan a day long event here for my sorority which consisted of a couple different class times. I came to the first class time, set up some of my own goodies, and then took the canvas painting class myself! Once class was over I left everything in the hands of the lovely staff here who handled the rest of the day. From 11 am to 8 pm we hosted 3 classes and I barely had to do anything at all! I was so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of their location, and the canvas class experience as a whole. I was pleased to learn that The Art House even rents out their adorable space for events other than classes. They said they can host grad parties, birthdays, dinners, etc. I will FOR SURE be back here soon to take another class, and will definitely keep The Art House in mind for future events I host. AHH I could go on for days. Thank you, The Art House for making my job as painless and easy as possible. My sorority sisters will not stop raving about the best sisterhood event we have ever had. read more

Such a fun place ! An awesome experience from start to finish ! They were patient with us we had a large group. Came in ordered a drink or beer ( you get to keep the adorable little art house glass with it) she let us sample the few beers to help us make our selection. This place is a perfect one on one date night ! Mommy daughter date or even a family affair ! Plenty of time to chat and catch up between steps! Staff is helpful and is so friendly ! I had a great time at the Art House! A girlfriend won 4 seats during an Instagram giveaway and we had a girls night! One of my favorite aspects is the way they teach each class. The instructor offers specific instruction on how to create each painting step by step. They also offer creativity in the colors you choose and even offer one on one advice on how to paint something different. Yummy treats and drinks plus a super modern atmosphere and you'll have a great time! read more
I came with my bestie for a paint date and had SO MUCH FUN!! It was a new design that they were trying, but Kendall did a fantastic job at instructing and helping us create beautiful pieces. The venue is absolutely adorable and quintessential Gilbert. They had snacks and water waiting for us, and had a small bar for adult beverages. All of our supplies were laid out ready for us, and they had sketched out part of the design to get us started. Two hours went by FAST, but I had a blast and left with something that I actually WANT to hang in my house! Can't say enough about the hosts and instructor and their hospitality! They even took a perfect Instagram picture outside for us! I'll definitely be back! read more

Went here for a FUN customer appreciation day! It was a blast! It's the cutest little studio! The artist was friendly and helpful with directions. She was younger and had a little bit of a hard time directing the group and didn't give as many tips through out as I have seen compared to other paint classes I have been to but it didnt ruin my time! I was I bit turned of about not a bring your own wine but dont worry they had the cutest little bar and you get to keep your glass! I had the prickly pear cider it was delicious! Over all I had a BLAST and cant wait to go back in a few weeks with a group of my girlfriends! read more

Last night I had the pleasure of attending an Acrylic Paint class and it was such a nice experience. They provide the paint, the canvas and anything else to create your masterpiece. It is a step by step class and they will work with you if you need the help. They're are super nice and welcoming. The Gallery also has a bar so drinks are available for purchase. They host different craft services so I will definitely be back to try something different. Thank you @thearthousegilbert for having me and providing a relaxing but fun environment. read more
My husband decided to surprise me for a date night here and I am glad he did. When we got to the location, we were instantly greeted by two wonderful women, showing us to our seat. We had a really great time as we sipped on wine (we were able to take home the wine glass they serve us with) and followed step-by-step instructions on our paintings. It was a wonderful time and we really embraced the creative side of ourselves. read more

Today I got to go to the art house and I had so much! I went with my sorority and I want to do it again. The workers are so sweet and it was just so much fun!! Didn't even think I could do this but the lady was so sweet and helped out a lot. Can't wait to be back read more
A fun experience from start to finish! I ordered the white sangria ($6), and you keep the glass it's served in! A cute souvenir to take home. The class I took was painting the beautiful Arizona sky with mountains and cacti. The instructor gave easy to understand instructions and answered all questions. Painting the sky was a breeze. Painting the mountains and cacti, a little more difficult. It's amazing to see how different everyone's painting came out, all beautiful! There were a total of 10 attendees. Great for a date, for a group of friends, and great if you are riding solo and want to try something new. Another plus, just down the street there are plenty of restaurants for dinner after your class :). read more

Such a great place to come with friends and family! The atmosphere is light, fun, and very much enjoyable. There's a bar for adult drinks, complementary water and snacks. Your greeted at the door, shown where you are sitting so you don't feel like you have to wander around a find a place to sit. They have your name written down on a cute small tag which I loved because it felt personable. The staff here are very friendly and you'll definitely see that this is what they enjoy to do. The instructor of the class will come around showing you the painting as you go along. As they come around they will give you tips and ideas. It's a lot of fun because you don't have to be perfect and with guidance will love what you go home with.Aprons are provided of course so you won't get paint on your clothes. No limit on the paint you need to bring your inner Vincent Vagó out or if your more of a Picasso! The staff lets you take your time to wrap up when you are ready. Will also gladly go outside and take picture of you and your group. Girls night, Date night, and Mommy and Me the art house will have something for you and your loved ones. I would recommend getting there early to find a parking spot in the back. read more
The Art House is so much fun!!! The little building is so cute and well decorated, even the bathroom is super pretty. I love how there's a little bar in the back, and we were so excited we got to keep the cute pint glasses after we ordered beer. The paintings they offer are so much better than most of the sip and paint places I've seen before, and I actually like mine enough that hung it up in my house. The instructors do a really great job of walking you through everything and showing you how to do it. They even gave out little snacks during the class, this place is adorable :) definitely coming back again! read more

My kids attended the summer kids camp and had a great time! My daughter is 4 and my son is 7. I was afraid my son was going to be bored as he is really just into sports but he actually really enjoyed it. I loved seeing all of the fun projects they worked on. The camp is 2.5 hours long and they have morning and afternoon sessions. The kids also get a snack and drink. I highly recommend! So fun! read more

I recently attended The Art House Gilbert with 4 family members. Let me just say, none of us are painters, but WOW! It didn't even matter! The service was phenomenal. All the employees were super attentive and friendly, but most importantly outgoing. The instructor was easy to understand and made the whole experience fun and entertaining for everyone. I love how the classes aren't too big, allowing the instructor to help people individually when needed. I really want to comment on the atmosphere. It's like a art cottage. Charming, clean, with warm textures, making you feel right at home. I can't recommend this establishment enough!!! I have told so many people about it and I absolutely cannot wait to go back. It is well worth the value and experience to try it for yourself. read more

Can't say enough about our experience with The Art House!! I set up a private event for my nana's 80th birthday and requested a custom design to paint as well. I communicated via email with Kylee for booking/payment and she was super helpful in answering every question I had. Kendall took the ideas I sent her for our custom design and came up with the most amazing "gangsta granny" ever!! She sent a rough draft and allowed me to make revisions before the final sketch, which was so helpful. She was more than happy to make it perfect for us; it's both adorable and hilarious and everyone loves it! Becca was our bartender for the event and seriously couldn't have been any sweeter!! She was so lovely to my nana and at one point when my nana accidentally rubbed black paint on her canvas, Becca rushed over to clean it off. Both ladies were beyond sweet, patient, attentive & truly made our event perfect. In regard to The Art House itself, the inside is perfect in terms of size and design. The red sangria from the bar was delicious, the wooden tables are lovely and the "house" is adorable yet modern. We were able to arrive 30 min early to decorate & everything was set up exactly as I discussed with Kylee. Seriously looking for a reason to host another event here. Thank you so much, ladies!!
