Had our wedding here August 2026, was an amazing experience. We had brought in our own food, decor and some entertainment... no issues. The staff were very kind and professional. We had booked the DJ (Andy) and Photographer (Andrea) through the venue, both were such a pleasure working with and were so understanding and flexible with all of our needs and adjustments! Dj, photographer and venue all had wonderful communication and very clear answers to all our questions. Everyone at our event complimented the venue, including the garden. Space was ample and we were able to customize the reception area however we needed. My main point of contact for the venue was Maylin, she was very kind and very direct with answers. Maylin coordinated our ceremony and everything was gorgeous and ran so smoothly. Thank you to the Garden Tuscana staff and preferred vendors for the wonderful service you had provided us!! Truly disappointed with our experience @ Garden Tuscana. Once you've paid you are of no importance. Appointment @ 11:00?? Expect them to show up @ 11:30 with no apology or explanation. The staff is unengaged and condescending (they make comments that they assume you don't/won't understand...we did). We had to chase them down in the kitchen multiple times to refill water pitchers for the guests and the chafing dishes in the buffet line. We had so much food left over (completely untouched) it could feed 50 people. Had they put the food out as needed the guests would have eaten more. Needless to say we will not be back and will not recommend them to anyone. We have multiple upcoming events to plan and we will be looking elsewhere to host them. read more

I got married in June 2024. I had a short engagement window (we got engaged in November and didn't set the date until the end of December, giving us only 6 months to plan). Even before we set the date, I started doing research and Villa Tuscana was at the top of my list (also in Mesa). We did a tour there in December within a day or so of nailing down the date with our Church. However, when I got to Villa Tuscana, I was disheartened. I didn't realize that the hall is set up for two parties and I was nervous to think that another event would be happening at the same time as our wedding in such a small vicinity. And then there were no windows at all. I am SOOO grateful for the representative who met with us. She encouraged me so check out Garden Tuscana and I had briefly come across it but didn't want my guests driving 40-45 minutes from the church to the reception hall. Begrudgingly, I looked up Garden Tuscana when I got home. After reading about them, I called them and got in the same day for a visit. I practically knew immediately that we had to get married here and I'm so grateful that they had availability on our date! The best thing is that you have the entire venue to yourself, it's a gorgeous space AND the preferred vendor package option is not something you can beat. I had looked at so many venues and they were incredibly expensive and/or restrictive. Some forced you to go with their food, drink providers, etc and were asking minimum $130 per person. At Garden Tuscana, you can choose to go with your own vendor and pay out of pocket, or go with one of their vendors which is a much more affordable rate. For example, a bakery I like would have cost over $1000 for a cake. But at Garden Tuscana, we went with Sugarlips Cakery and got a 4 tier cake for only about $350! We also went with the vendors for DJ (which is a must so that you can get the upgraded lighting), and food. We went with the Mexican catering option and had more than enough leftover. They also host a "vendor night" 1-2 times a year where you and all other clients can come and see all of their vendors, get information, pricing, and get a full dinner provided by the 3 catering companies they partner with (Mexican,Contemporary American, Italian). Needless to say, as soon as we saw the venue, we were itching to put the payment down. As for alcohol, you buy all of your own to stock the bar. We went to Total Wine and More and worked with them to get kegs, wine, and liquor, mixers, etc. We did pay for an additional bartender which is a good call. Only constructive piece of feedback here is that we worked with Total Wine to make sure we had ingredients for 150 of each cocktail. Well by the time I got to the bar (after about 90 mins), one of the cocktails was already out becuase they "ran out" of sweet and sour mix. In reality, I think they were using too much of it because they had enough of all other ingredients for the same drink. Only other pieces of constructive pieces of feedback: We did have a ton of leftovers. The DJ never announced that guests could go up and get seconds. I'm not sure if that's a DJ thing (which is normally something they announce) or the venue, but given the two of them work together so often, they should coordinate getting that message out so that everyone can get seconds, thirds, etc. Also, many in the wait staff do not speak English. When the cake got put out, they cut it very nicely but I noticed the sheet cake flavor of confetti cake was missing. I (the bride) went over there to ask them to cut it and it took awhile for them to understand what I was asking. Eventually they figured it out and told me no, that they couldn't cut the sheet cake until the other cake was gone. I wanted to allow my guests to sample all 4 flavors so I was disappointed they'd tell the Bride no for something so simple. And of course, we ended up with a TON of leftover confetti cake, which is disappointing because it's a family favorite. Word of advice-- I see a lot of people on here upset about the fine print of the contract. It's there for a reason so make sure you read it! What I appreciate about Garden Tuscana is that the contact isn't written in legalese. It's very easy to understand and I read that darn thing at least 10 times through and asked SOOOO many questions of Alma and Maylin. They were amazing to work with. Very kind and patient. And Maylin said that she started working there after she had her quinceanera there, so that speaks so how great of an experience she had. Also, I had a but of a mishap on the dance floor and my toenail was bleeding and in desperate need of a heavy duty bandage. Maylin had it all and even went to the dance floor herself to wipe up the blood. That's dedication! I could go on and on. But all you really need to know if you're considering GT is that it's the most affordable option and you still have an excellent experience and gorgeous venue. Unfortunately, we had a really bad experience with garden Tuscana And DJ company . My brother got married here a few years ago and now is under different ownership and we didn't run across any of these problems, which is why we decided to have our wedding here I don't even know where to begin with all unprofessionalism, broken arrangements, things that should have never happen. The seating arrangement. Our assigned seating chart was not placed as promised We made table seating chart and sent it to our coordinator she then said that they never received it even though we sent it in spent weeks on it. I think they need to realize in most cultures seating is a big deal . We also made it clear didn't want tables in corner of the hall inside there was plenty of room, but yet they still set for tables in the back corner area. The DJ He did not coordinate with the singer that we hired at all. He actually refused to when the wedding party were being introduced, there was no music playing until we had to say something. We gave the DJ a playlist to play during dinner hour, and he played elevator Frank Sinatra songs. I also spoke with the DJ before the reception started and he stated that everything was on track of what we discussed and also coordinated with the singer we hired and told him I did not want anything changed at all since he came up to me wanting to change up the songs. Then when it came time for the wedding party and both the groom and brides parents he did not play any kind of music to get the party going as promised in our meeting with the DJ company months prior to our wedding. The bartenders. They also didn't do the drinks that we requested them to make along with unprofessionalism of them flirting with guest and inquiring about them when they had spouses. We asked them to be cautious with the amount of alcohol in each drink and also my dad had to go to the bar twice to tell them to ease down because we were running out of tequila and all other liquor before the night even started. Food The food was served late Also not every table got food. There was plenty of plates to go around so I don't understand that we paid the additional $500 to have a served plate and in my opinion was such a waste of money. A buffet style would've been better then this. Also we ordered more then enough food to feed the amount of guest attending so I want to know what happened and where was the food going? As for the cake it took way longer then it should've to be served to my guest. Overall, we had a really bad experience you guys. Unfortunately, it ruined a lot of the wedding party for us. read more

The dinner food was portioned in halves once they realized there was not enough food. Yes, we submitted all of the number attendees in time along with assigned table seating. With that said, there was absolutely no Table Seating Arrangement for anyone to view or follow. The setting and placements my wife took time to find and want in place was never accomplished by this team. The DJ followed nothing of what we had instructed for; DJ is part of this venue package. Garden Tuscana is an absolute dream of a venue to get married and Emily and her staff make it as perfect and as stress-free as possible for the groom (myself) and bride. Melissa, coordinating the hall and Gretchen, coordinating the ceremony, make a great team, ensuring the best quality and attention to both sides of the wedding. I loved the fact that they both stayed behind for several hours until everything was absolutely perfect. For their options, taking their DJ (Arizona DJ), Photography (Arizona Wedding Photographers), and Bar Tending in an all-inclusive package is a must. Price and quality cannot be found the same elsewhere. We have a catering company that we wanted to use and they worked with our catering company beautifully. My husband and I got married here. Overall, we do recommend it. The Positives: Venue - Beautiful venue, guests loved the garden and took lots of their own photos in the gazebo. We received lots of compliments on how beautiful it was. Food - We went with Santis. Everyone was complimenting how good the food was (chicken rollatini, rice pilaf, green beans). Cake - Lots of compliments on the cake from Sugar Lips from guests saying it was the best wedding cake they've had. We went with white chocolate with raspberry filling. DJ - The DJ company was good to work with overall and accommodating. He did a good job with MCing and coordinating with the band although I wish more American music was played but that may have been on us for how we did the timeline and dance segments. We were also jamming out to some house music then there was a bad transition into reggae that led to people leaving the dance floor. I had to quickly ask for a song change. The Photo Booth through the DJ was a treat, everyone had fun and I love how we got the link to all photos. Bartenders, waiters, security - Everyone raved about how amazing the bartenders and waitstaff were. One of our friends said he left the bartenders a $100 tip because of how good they were, even remembering his drink when he would go back to order. The head waiter really took charge in making sure everything was good, she did more coordinating than the actual coordinators it felt like. Security guards were beyond accommodating and helpful. Email communication - Was on point and really good leading up to the big day. Never felt like a burden emailing with any questions I had. However, did receive some inconsistent info a few times. Price - Affordable for a beautiful venue. The Negatives: Rehearsal and day-of coordination - Although they seemed nice, the coordinators are way too timid to know how to direct throughout the in-person experience. During the rehearsal my husband and MOH had to take charge in directing everyone where to stand because the coordinator was extremely timid/soft spoken and did not explain to us clearly what we needed to do. We were told to fill out a piece of paper with the bridal party's names then the coordinator left and were waiting so long that my fiancé had to go grab her so we could start the rehearsal. During the day of our wedding, the coordinator(s) were pretty absent. We did not see them at all except for right before the ceremony. It felt like they were hiding in the office the whole time and did not check on us once. There was a delay in people getting to the venue and people were entering the venue, my bridesmaids had to tell them to leave and lock the doors themselves so people did not come into the venue... Not sure where the coordinators were at this time? Before the grand entrance, my dad had to knock on the office door for them to come out so we could start. I was confused on what exactly was being coordinated if they were in the office all night with the door closed? It felt like we had to take charge and coordinate ourselves. If you're a coordinator, you should be on the floor ensuring everything is going right and on schedule, not hiding away for us to look for you if we need something or something goes wrong. I also walked out with my veil folded which upsets me regarding photos and videos. The coordinator should have known to help me with it prior to walking down the aisle. The ring bearer and flower girls also did not know where to go because they did not go over it with us during the rehearsal as we kind of had to direct the rehearsal ourselves. Appetizers - We heard they were good and beautiful, but we were told the table would be refilled if the food was eaten and I do not believe it was so we did not get to enjoy it. read more

Picking this venue was the best decision we made. Not only did I love that It was in our budget I also loved that everything was included so I really just had to show up and be ready to party! Lol! Everything turned out beautiful and all of our guests had a great time. We got so many compliments on the venue and everything from the food to the music was exactly how we wanted it to be. The venue is gorgeous and made for so many beautiful photos. Emily was the sweetest and coordinated everything so well. Any questions I had were responded to quickly and any changes made were all changed with no issue. My wedding day was beautiful and everything ran smoothly all thanks to Emily and her staff. The venue is nice, the coordinator really helpful, they only have a lot of restrictions, if you don't hire their DJ they won't allow you to use their lights, or let you use sparkle lights if you do they won't reimburse your deposit they close the garden at a certain time. If I would of known this and other restrictions I would not had my reception here. read more

As Event Planners ourselves, we were really looking forward to working with Garden tuscana as it was brand new. We felt this venue was more interested in Quantity over quality. Meaning sealing the deal was their goal rather than our needs. We had picked a baker recommended from the 2 included in our contract. We were told we could pick whatever design, however big, our cake would be "perfect." It was not, it didn't even meet our expectations, the "$800" dream cake promised by the venue looked like we had bought it from a grocery store. We were charged extra for the decor from the baker. Definitely not worth the $75.00 fee of decor. We had everything planned a certain way, and it was miscommunicated multiple times during the final week. The day of we experienced many, and we mean many difficulties. The venue began to experience the Arizona heat inside, and our guests were beginning to feel uncomfortable, they began to voice their concern. Then the beautiful garden we were excited about had a major bees' nest sworming the fountain near the gazebo. It stung a few of our guests. The final piece was the VIP section near the bridal room, the lights would NOT turn on. None of the employees in the venue were able to turn the lights on. Not to mention one of the coordinators for the venue had promised to be at the venue for the event, and was no where to be found. We didn't see her at all. We were let down. The venue is beautiful and all, the guests loved it. But it's not worth the $13k it cost us. Sorry. But we wouldn't recommend this venue to our new/future clients or return to host our events. read more

When we first booked with Garden Tuscana we were over the moon excited it was beautiful and in our budget and then COVID happened and everything changed. We ended up getting sick with Covid right when we had our meet the vendor night and let the venue know which nobody seemed to care then we got to thinking long term since our wedding was in January about postponing since nothing was changing we contacted the venue about it and they said no... just no. We couldn't change the date or cancel the wedding because they were scared to lose their money. After going back and fourth with the owner she made it very clear that she would not help us and we ended up losing $6000 at this venue because she is selfish. She said "I'm still holding events and traveling (putting others at risk) so we would be fine although half my guests from out of country or state would not be able to be here. She didn't care it wasn't her problem. She ended up telling us we can change our date to a date of her choice in one of the hottest months in Arizona and that was it. I begged and pleaded with her as I was working 2 jobs just to make my payments and she just kept saying "you signed a contact" even though it was signed before the worldwide pandemic. If I could tell anyone one thing it would be to run as far as possible from here because she does not care about her customers only her money so she can continue to travel! Although we started over with another venue they are making it possible for us to have the wedding of our dreams without having to worry about not having guests be there because I am being forced on a date... go anywhere else but here or Villa Tuscana as she owns both... and here we are in December a month before the wedding would have been and Covid is only getting worse and worse! read more

Getting married at Garden Tuscana was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we got so many compliments. For the amount of guests we had, this was by far the most budget friendly for everything that was included. The outside garden is lush and beautiful with many spots for photos after the ceremony. The inside is clean and stunning, and easily accommodates large weddings. The staff, and Emily specifically, were so easy to communicate with. They got a lot of emails from me over the year I spent planning (sorry Emily lol) and they answered all of my questions and were always quick to respond. They made sure our day went perfectly and it definitely did. It was so easy and flowed so amazingly. We truly cannot say enough thank yous to the staff. I really want to give 5 stars to this venue. The pricing, food and staff are great. Emily was a great help during all of the planning. I love all the vendors they're partnered with. The only thing that really ruined it for me was we had purchased a package for 200 guests and purchased 20 kids meals as well. We had about 50 adult guests bail at the last minute so there should have been plenty of food. However, because they were not properly portioning the food, letting guests have one of each entree rather than having them select one entree like they were supposed to, and allowing adults to have food from the kids menu as well, the food ran out. The all the entrees ran out when the last four tables were called. That's about 32 people who only got some side dishes and bread. These 32 people consisted of children, a friend that was 7 months pregnant, and people that traveled from out of state that didn't get to enjoy the food. Some even just went to McDonald's cause they were still hungry. This was so embarrassing for us. read more

My son and daughter in law got married there on Saturday 3/30/19. The venue is an absolute fantastic place for a wedding. The staff was professional and friendly. They were some of the best we have had. Emily was great. However on a discouraging note: The DJ was absolutely HORRIBLE! Apparently he could not read his play list; the Grandfather (92 yrs. young and in bad health) of the Groom was not able to attend and had sent a special blessing video for the Bride and Groom that was to be played just before their "First Dance". The DJ "attempted" to play the video and finally told everybody that he couldn't make it work so we were just going to get the audio. He then proceeds to put a microphone next to the speaker on his laptop. Needless to say this was a disaster. Nobody could hear anything, it was terrible and so unprofessional!. When that was finished it was time for the "First Dance" the Bride and Groom were standing in the middle of the dance floor waiting and waiting until the DJ started a song. You guessed it-the wrong song. He actually was playing a Father Daughter song..........the Groom had to leave the middle of the dance floor to make him stop playing the song. The DJ's comment was "Just a test" he failed the test with a ZERO. Next was the Father Daughter dance, but the song wasn't even the one the Bride had chosen, just one on the DJ's "list". To top it all off, the DJ actually had the play list in his hand, but apparently didn't think it was the Bride and Groom's day and decided to make it HIS choice - sorry not YOUR day. If you are thinking of using this venue it is amazing - Just make sure you have a clause in the contract regarding the DJ!!! read more

We loved this venue for our son's wedding. They were so helpful and accommodating. Also had such unusual touches to make it special like fog machine while dancing and fireworks while the band played. The bride and groom wanted a Disney-like atmosphere which they created with both the decor and the music. I was really impressed with the rose table decorations. I just want to say WOW. This venue was thee most perfect wedding venue all around. First, our coordinator Emily was awesome! She knows exactly what she is doing when it comes to wedding planning. She made everything super easy and convenient for us. The food and cake were amazing. I still have guest calling me to ask about the food. The venue is beautiful and so is the garden. I had been planning my wedding for the past 2 years and had the opportunity to visit 7 different venues in the valley and no other venue offered everything that Garden Tuscana offers. This venue was affordable and I really liked that there were NO extra fees for silly things like a lot of venues charge. They will work with your budget and customize the wedding of your dreams. The dj company was a pleasure to work with and so was our photographer. I still can not believe how beautiful everything came out.
