Oh my goodness this was the best day of my life! I married my best friend here on March 20th 2023 and it was the most beautiful, amazing, experience I've ever had. I'm in the hospitality industry and I've worked hundreds of banquets and weddings so I know what to look for when it comes to service. Michelle Hart made our lives soooooooop much easier. I love that woman! My husband and I were originally going to have a backyard wedding, but became very stressful so we decided to look into affordable venues that can accommodate 100 people with 2 months notice. With the packages offered by the antique wedding house, it made our planning so easy. The value is outstanding. We went with the Isabella package for 100 people and it was approx $7000 on a Monday. all inclusive. Dj, photographer, Photo Booth, catering, 3tier cake, dressing room's, event coordinator, everything! We absolutely made the right decision when choosing antique wedding house as the venue for our wedding. They took care of everything. EVERYTHING ! Michelle, the coordinator and lady in charge, was very kind, patient, and easy to work with. She answered every question, was very helpful in helping make decisions, and also allowed us to choose and customize what we wanted with no hesitation. For example, we purchased the Isabella package and it includes an officiant for the ceremony. My husband and I wanted my mother and his friend to officiate us together. No problem! Michelle made planning our wedding so easy. It's like a one stop shop. Michelle literally helped us plan almost everything in less than an hour. Come wedding day, everything was stunning! The staff was very accommodating, and pleasurable. The food was amazing. Our Dj, Emmett with Direct Sounds DJs, was Awesome!Our photographer... Dorrell Edwards with Always Timeless Weddings, well.... All I can say is that This guy. The bartender, Ruben, was on point, friendly, and professional. Dennis and jessica with Goof Booth photo booths, were very very awesome and kind. The banquet captain, Eric, was super sweet and I really appreciate everything he did to make our night perfect. The cake... let me tell you that the cake is the absolute BEST wedding cake I have EVER had. And being in the industry, I've tried a lot of wedding cake. It was 3 tiered with 3 different flavors and icings. We did red velvet with cream cheese icing, strawberry with mango icing, and butter rum with butter cream icing. So freaking good!!!! As the father of the bride/best father of honor, I may have been a bit of a dadzilla trying to make it special for my little girl....AWH delivered. So many great things to point out...Eric was amazing, the catering crew, the dj, the photographer and the food was incredible. (The grooms room had an unusual smell with Betty Boop decorations that were a little weird.) Our photographer, Darnell, was incredible. We paid extra to have Darnell photograph the sparkler and classic car sendoff (www.roscoeandlouie.net). The photos are amazing. DJ Tony was amazing. The bartender was glorious. But most of all it was Eric, Michelle's assistant, who made the night a success. Eric made sure everything went smoothly. I was bit of a dad-zilla, but they answered all my questions and helped me with everything I needed. Michelle, who runs the place, was so patient with me and responded to dozens of my emails and phone calls. I wanted to make it special for my little girl, and she made it happen. I attended a wedding at this venue recently, and was somewhat impressed by the facility support staff and related amenities. The support staff was limited but the girl I spoke with was friendly, but another attendant was a bit aggressive regarding relocating the horderves, main course food options and wedding cake slices. The food was very mediocre as it was buffet style and not customizable for anyone with food allergies. The venue is open air and wasn't noise cancelling at all, so traffic was very loud during the ceremony. Some of the spaces left a little to be desired as far as photography goes... The parking lot really needs to be better maintained, perhaps more space for bathrooms... I wasn't impressed with the space and the wouldn't care to ever go back again for any other event if I had the option... read more

I just noticed reading through these reviews that the majority of the bad reviews are from people that didn't even have their weddings here... interesting. Anyway... We had our wedding here and it was beautiful and wonderful, and the most affordable Saturday option in town to boot! The venue coordinator Michele was very efficient and friendly, not overly chatty or time wasting, which I very much appreciated. Great sense of humor, too. The buffet that came with was so good! I was worried about using an included buffet, but the chicken was so moist and everything was way better than I could have hoped! The included officiant was great and the ceremony went smoothly. Everything was wonderful that the venue provided and it was a great decision. The only thing that was off at all was the DJ, I don't want to name any names but the DJ we got through the affiliates of the package of the venue did not listen very well and had a serious attitude problem. I don't fault the venue or the company for this, just a bad apple. read more

I will not be booking my wedding here for a few reasons. Unfortunately when I showed up for my tour yesterday Michele wasn't there. She forgot to put me down. But I shouldn't be surprised cause when I made the appointment I was rushed. :( she didn't bother to contact me to apologize or reschedule an appointment. Although they were setting up for a wedding, sending a text or an email letting me know that she will be getting back to me soon and or sorry for the mixup takes a whole minute. The linens and centerpieces looked cheap. Their house photographer took decent standard photos with classic and basic wedding photos. So if you're looking for artistic, unique style/edited shots, you might have to pay more to find a different one. A nice man named Taylor attempted to give me a tour and I will say I give him 5 STARS. He was warm, friendly and answered most of my questions to the best of his knowledge. The place is bigger than I thought it would be. And they have fountains that drown out most of the traffic as it is on a main road. read more

If you should have an venue here make sure to ask for the indoor accommodations during the summer it's hot and the glare is so tremendous you can't get decent pictures not to mention there is a slight amount of hodgepodge in the area but I'm sure they could do without during your particular event. read more

I got married at Antique Wedding House in 2017. I was looking for a small and cozy garden venue and the place was just perfect! The whole experience was pretty much stress free because Michelle was easy to work with and seemed to truly want to make our night perfect. They take care of everything but also allow you to bring whatever you want extra. The external area is dog friendly so my pup could be in the wedding. And the price (which includes everything-even the photographer and photo booth!) was very affordable. I highly recommend. read more

The day of the wedding she informed us that we couldn't have our reception there as planned and moved my guests to another building! Some got lost and the elderly people were too tired to drive somewhere else. Plus we wanted the beautiful outdoor setting we paid for. She also told us she'd have seating for 200 (when I brought my dad to see it he commented that it didnt seem big enough for 200 but she told him it was). 150 of my 200 guests had to stand. We had to fight to use sound equipment to we were told would be set up but was no where to be found. It was so stressful. We paid in advance...I don't believe she would have pulled such bullshit if she hadn't been paid already. IMO this venue is better suited to smaller gatherings (under 100) not a larger wedding like mine. Don't pay in advance and have a trusted family member in charge of cards and gifts. Our daughter Emily and her husband Branden were married at the Antique Wedding House in February 2015. Michelle, the owner, made the experience very wonderful for everyone involved. All questions we had were answered promptly, plans were made according to our needs and ideas, and details handled very efficiently by Michelle and her team. We chose a package which included officiant, food, cake, photography, bartender, DJ, tables, chairs and photo booth. This saved an incredible amount of time and I feel the cost was extremely fair. Michelle has a wonderful sense of calm that was evident throughout the planning process and this same relaxed sense was evident in her team at the wedding and reception. One word... AMAZING!! Michele was great from the beginning. We just wanted something small and intimate and OUTSIDE... the first few venues I called were crazy expensive if I even wanted to fathom having it outdoors and not in some funeral home style room (one was bad but I'll keep this about AWH) Michele gave us a great price and everything we had wanted and saw for our wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful... our photographer loved it's historic feel and it's hidden beauty in the less obvious places (pics are stunning) Our family had a great time, weather was nice and I didn't trip down the aisle on my heels!! My husband and I went to a dozen open houses, made a detailed spreadsheet comparing costs and amenities, and really did our research on venues. AWH was our choice because it was both cost effective and flexible. We were required to use only one of their vendors (the bartender), but they provided recommended vendors in other areas. We ended up using their DJ and officiant and were happy with both. The biggest pluses of this venue were the ability to bring in any caterer and buy our own alcohol. Also important - they decorated the tables for us (candles, beads, etc.) so we didn't have to buy flowers for the tables or make anything on our own. The negatives were that the weather was unexpectedly cold on our day and the venue was rearranged to move the dance floor to a covered area, but the bar wasn't moved. The bartender ended up being really far away from the dance floor and tables. If I were doing it all over again, I would stick with this venue. For the size of our party (50 people), and our budget, it was great. read more

I was part of a wedding that was held here recently and I have mixed feelings about this place. Here is my experience-Let me break it down... The venue: It was quaint and clean but needs some major updating. This is apparently a very popular spot for weddings and I'm sure they are making a killing- spend some cash to update the space! The physical property is not well utilized and the amenities were almost non-existent. No unique touches whatsoever. I appreciated the building for its history but definitely shows it's age (maybe intentionally)? However, I must say the bridal suite was cute. They could use some couches/more seats outside and some better landscaping. I felt like we were in a large car port on some distant relative's property. The food: mediocre at best. All 8 people at my table ate only half of their plate. Food was bland and options were very limited. Good thing I have no dietary restrictions. Appetizers (if you can call them that) were simple as well but all the food was fresh and hot. Customer service: The owners were mostly helpful. I liked that they took the time to run though the rehearsal with everyone the day prior to make sure everyone knew placement, exits, cues, etc...the day of the wedding we did not see anyone until 15 min before the ceremony but It all turned out great though. During the ceremony everyone from the middle row through the back could not hear the officiant at all. It was disappointing... Everything else: Photographer was amazing. I hope they pay him well. He was thorough and very personable. He really took the time to get some wonderful shots and knew what he was doing. The bartender was great as well. Super nice guy and provided fast service. Remembered my cocktail after only one visit. The DJ was ok too. Somewhat cheesy but did a decent job. I liked how he incorporated a few fun games for entertainment with the bride and groom during dinner. Kept the great music flowing. The photo booth was a neat addition to the wedding. I've seen better ones and I've seen worse. It's always a hoot. Pictures printed out instantly and they made a copy for everyone in the shot. Maybe they should consider posting them to Facebook so everyone can have digital copies after the event?? Just an idea.. Overall, it was a good experience. From what I hear, this is the place to book if you are looking for an all-inclusive packaged deal. Convenience at its best. read more

We just had our wedding and let me tell you it turned out beautiful everyone was so impressed !! Cons: you have to bring your own decor they only really offer linens and centerpieces but I get there trying to keep costs down by not charging for decor and it turned out beautiful .. it was a little frustrating that it seemed like Michelle was bothered by all our questions it was just hard to know what to ask every time we met we learned something different like the cake was included but only super basic you have to pay extra for design or that photography is only included in the bigger package (we were told at time of booking it was included in ours). I also think they didn't see our vision so it felt like we were butting heads on table placing and stuff but then day of the wedding they were amazing and helpful and it all came together! I will agree with other reviews that putting more money into the place would help like paving the parking lot for example but overall very charming place ! We knew we wanted to do an all-inclusive wedding because we did not want to have to deal with the pain and hassle of all of the planning. After viewing several venues we decided on the Antique Wedding House. We fell in love with it the moment we saw it and we absolutely knew it was the venue for us as soon as we finished speaking with Michelle Hart, the owner. We got to pick our colors, table center pieces, etc. Our wedding was held outside, at night and was so romantic looking. The set-up of our wedding was done by Michelle and her staff - they did an awesome job, I just showed up and got married! I had given Michelle some "extra" decorations the day of our rehearsal for the cake table, candy bar (they provided the scoopers and vases) and some other little things for the tables and the way they set them up - looked amazing. The staff was very responsive and professional - they made the occasion seem effortless. The cake, food, DJ, Bartender and Photographer all GREAT! For the extra's that are not included - which I think are just the Liquor and the Flowers - ask Michelle - she has great contacts! All of our guests had a great time at the wedding and everyone (and I do mean everyone) has been complementing me on how perfect everything was - of course I have to give all the credit to Michelle and the Antique Wedding House! My husband and I had an amazing ceremony at the Antique Wedding House. Michele was more than helpful, and even offered to accommodate with our two children. We weren't fans of the indoor area/chapel, so we decided last minute to change it to the garden. Michele was very reassuring and even told us we would not have to incur any additional fees. She was very professional and very personable. We stayed longer than the time allotted, and there was no problem. I disagree with the term " false allegations." It was my opinion after looking around. The fountain was badly stained, the bench in front of it as well. It's difficult to disputes trash and cigarette butts as they were clearly on the ground. I am not a retaliatory type person at all, I simply stated what I found to be true. Perhaps you could look at it as constructive criticism and address the issues so you wouldn't have anything brought up in the future. I was not upset that you didn't have my date open but I certainly didn't understand why you would choose to go through the trouble of litigation as opposed to resolving the matter with everyone concerned best interest at heart. It has all the potential in the world to be very lovely but the lack of detail to trash out in front along with cigarette butts, a dirty water fountain, and other important details just takes away from what could be a great place. The owner booked our tour right up against a wedding so we were rushed thru the meeting and she was clearly distracted and seemed fairly put out when we asked questions. The garbage bag out in front as the guests were arriving spoke volumes to lack of detail and attention paid for your special day. I called recently to see about having the reception here. The woman I spoke to was very brisk and unwelcoming, yes..on the phone... and I really felt like I was bothering her. I had to ask many questions to get short, curt responses. I've spoken to several dozen vendors throughout the prep for this wedding and this is by far the most disinterested person I've spoken to. I had an appointment to tour the location as a possible location for my wedding. I got to the location just in time and found a gentlemen out back. I told him who I was ther to see and he went in the house to get her. When I entered the house I noticed that there was a wedding at the time. I think that it would have been better to call or email me and tell me that they booked the location. I felt like I was intruding on someone's special day.
