My Fiancee and myself attended her friend's Daughter's wedding at this location. This was our first time at this location for any event. All in all its a very nice venue for weddings. First, we had to wait outside in the front while the bride and groom were taking initial pictures prior to it starting. Just as an FYI, if you have a large party that has to wait outside in front and a elderly people there aren't a lot of places hardly at all for them to sit while waiting. Where the ceremony took place, the mountains are the backdrop behind the stage which makes for a beautiful picture moment and scene throughout the ceremony! However, you are out in the sun. The reception and dinner were great! The food was on point! The customer service was hit and miss. Except for one young pretty African American woman who provided exception customer service like no other! She was outgoing, friendly, everything!!!! She should train the rest of the staff on how to be for sure!!! The two young ladies at the bar were super friendly! However, some of were suspicious that the drinks were definitely watered down. For as much hard liquor as a number of us had without even getting a buzz on, yeah I'd have to place my bet on a watered down drinks. read more

Attended a wedding here at The Paseo earlier this month and all I can say is that this venue is amazing for wedding parties and could be for other events as well. Starting from the breath taking views with the Superstition Mountain in the background. The desert landscape all around so beautifully done. The area that the cocktail hour was with the bar, the DJ booth, the dance floor, tables, couches/chairs, the heat lamps, the fire place set up was all perfect. Then the reception area decorated very well and so lovely. It is clever having the restrooms for men on one side and women on the other side with a communal area for the hand washing area and the venue provided a basket fully stocked with essentials. The entire team at The Paseo, the wedding coordinator Monica, the DJ/Emcee, the photographer and videographer, the bartenders, the food vendors, the food servers etc were all absolutely awesome. The food and desserts were delicious. I would totally recommend this venue and/or even a place well deserved to be on your list of venues to visit for your upcoming party. It's a Airbnb style micro resort with 12 units that are perfect to stay at. Even before I moved to Arizona, I had seen the venue pop up on my Instagram and I knew I wanted to get married there. Dates here are very hard to come by, especially a Saturday. We were so fortunate and grateful that a date opened up for our big day. They offer packages but we did the a la cart, where we just rented the venue and booked separate vendors. Some vendors have to come from their preferred vendor list, which was not a problem at all, because everyone they recommended was amazing. Yadira and Monica were so communicative and helpful with coordinating everything. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks the team at Paseo. Everything went so smoothly and our guests (who traveled from the east coast and California) were in LOVE with the views and desert surrounding. The Paseo is an incredible venue with an amazing team. They make the process so seamless and easy with their Saguaro package. They communicate early and often and are extremely organized. Monica was our venue day of coordinator and she was INCREDIBLE. Truly the day would not have gone as smooth without her. She made sure we got all the photos we wanted, kept everyone on timeline, made sure the vendors were ready to go. After taking the desert photos my dress had accumulated a lot of brush and poky plants and Monica's team literally pulled every last piece out! She truly kept me stress free because she thought of everything. Our day would not have been as special without Monica and her incredible team. My son just got married there on October 20th... and did know what to expect. All I can say is "WOW"!!!!!!! Great food .... great staff...beautiful venue.... I could seriously go on and on!!! It was the perfect day, so many ways, even with the temperatures being a bit uncomfortable. One of the wedding coordinators let me sit in a cool room just before the wedding began.... It was truly really nice!!! At the end of the night the staff was even dancing with us making us feel they were having as much fun as us! What an AMAZING venue for a wedding! I attended one of my close friends' weddings this past Saturday. Coming from Chicago, I am not at all used to views like in Paseo, but the beauty of the venue still far exceeded my expectations. The ceremony itself was outdoors, overlooking a beautiful mountain in the distance. The ceremony was planned around golden hour, and the timing of everything was perfectly planned. The sky was clear and it was honestly the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to. Even as a simple attendee not involved with the wedding party or planning, I could tell that the entire Paseo staff was incredible. They were all super polite and enthusiastic about the wedding, and interacted very well with all the guests. Many of the decorations at the wedding were DIY courtesy of the newlywed couple, so I had a bit of trouble parsing out which decorations were theirs and which were the property of the Paseo. Regardless, the whole venue was very beautifully decorated. I'm also unsure if the catering/open bar was courtesy of the Paseo or serviced from somewhere else, so I won't factor those into my rating, but even if I did, it'd be a perfect five stars. Everything was so delicious and the ambiance of the venue was absolutely sublime. My only complaint about the venue is that it's quite far out in the middle of nowhere to be away from the city traffic and for the beautiful desert views. This isn't a problem in the morning, but after the wedding, we had a LOT of trouble getting back to our AirBNB because rideshares barely go out that far from Phoenix. It took us maybe 20 minutes of waiting to get an Uber hailed which kind of sucked. But there's little to be done about that; just be aware if you are attending an event here that ends late at night. It would behoove you to drive yourself or catch a ride with someone else. Overall, I had a fantastic time at the Paseo for my friend's wedding and would highly recommend it to anyone looking into it for a formal or semiformal event. Ok, my wife and I came here for my nieces wedding. The facility is really nice. The staff was amazing, at least I think, it was an open bar! We had an amazing time, the timing was good, they had smooth translations from one event to the next. It didn't feel rushed like a lot of weddings we have been to. Wedding on 10/11/22 So sad that I spent 50,000+ for one person to ruin my wedding and her name is KELSEY she is horrible at everything especially her attitude. Due to the weather outside was getting darker sooner so the photographer asked if we could move the time to start at 5pm which was fine with me because the invitations said 5pm start time I did not see a big deal since the guest should already be here. I told Kelsey about the idea to change it she was very belittling, condescending telling me that there is only 5 people at the ceremony. And I said that is fine I rather get pictures instead of losing the opportunity I know the risk & she continued to tell me that I would lose time with the vendors when it's not true I booked the vendors to start at 5-6pm which should all be sent up for after the ceremony. How would I lose time if they have been paid to start at 5 to begin with all vendors were paid for the whole night. She came into the bridal suite and said okay we are just going to do that I'll tell everyone and SLAMMED the door on me & my bridal party. Very unprofessional like child like behavior. I then asked to speak to a different person since she was very aggressive & she continued to attack me and say that there is no one else when I saw 5 different Paseo staff. She said she is one of the owners again very belittling I didn't ask if she was one of the owners? & if she really was then she wouldn't treat me and talk to me in that way. She was very undermining of my choices and for paying a lot of money she should of just said I'll see what I can do, it seemed like it was her way or the high way. I am a professional & these demeanors I can expect from my mental health patients not from an owner. She then proceeded to call me ma'am which I could expect if I was elder but I am 29 and she kept repeating it in my face making hand gestures where I come from that is very rude & repeatedly said I just want you to understand like insulting my masters degree in health care. When we start the ceremony I looking out through the windows of the pavilion and I couldn't believe it she lied to me there was not 5 people all chairs were filled but two rows. She then took down my welcome table right away so I didn't even get any cards people were handing them to me directly like a child she didn't decorate how I told her the day before the floating candle holders didn't even have water in them and when I said they need water she responded no they don't or they will melt she thought I meant the goblets so I told the other paseo staff Casside that I was talking about the floating candles and she right away put water in them. The neon sign was not up I had to tell my bridesmaid to tell her to put it up. It seemed like after that encounter she didn't do anything that I had asked her to do very unprofessional she sabotage all my decor very spiteful to ruin someone's wedding. She never spoke to me the whole night or apologized for her tone or for even slamming the door she just said the doors are sensitive. Instead of "that wasn't my intention if it seemed like I slammed it I'm sorry" I believe she would benefit from some behavior classes to be able to de escalate situations instead of making it worse. Overall the structure venues wise was 10/10 the bridal suite was extremely smaller than the grooms. DJ Steve was 10/10 awesome music & made us feel heard. Creations & cuisine was 10/10! Amber was very helpful in giving me options when I had rented some black plates that didn't fit the plates service she was understanding and found a solution right away. The food was so delicious I felt like I was at a fancy restaurant. Jessica Barry flowers was 10/10 she was very flexible and worked with my busy work schedule. Flowers were very beautiful & fresh. Sue Jacobs cake was 10/10 very modern nice cake looking on the outside and delicious on the inside. Bartender by venue was 10/10 always asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. read more

My fiancé and I were looking forward to celebrating what is supposed to be one of the best days of our lives at this venue. Unfortunately, the pandemic had plans of its own, and we were very disappointed with the Paseo's lack of accommodation. We booked our date (January 22, 2021) back in January of 2020. When Covid cases started to climb in spring, we still had hope that it everything would be back to normal by the following winter. Therefore, we proceeded to pay our first of three payments ($3,333). By the time our second payment was due, it was evident that the pandemic was going to be around longer than we originally anticipated, so the venue allowed us to push our payment back a couple of months. At that point, we were in the middle of our state's first surge. As healthcare workers, my fiancé and I went back and forth as to whether we would move forward with the wedding in January, because it was predicted there would be another surge in the winter. The Paseo told us that we needed to make a final decision by the end of October. Although the numbers at that time were lower, we feared that the second surge would inhibit travel plans and put our elderly family member's health at risk. We asked the venue if we could reschedule. They told us that we could reschedule through the end of December 2021, but when they sent us their available days, they only had Tuesdays and Wednesdays available. Our original date was on a Friday. We saw that February 22, 2022 was available, but they declined to give us that date. I will say that our contract stated that no refunds of any kind would be offered, but this pandemic presented hardships that none of us expected. I also know that the Paseo is a family run business, and they have to protect what they have built. But their lack of available dates through 2021 demonstrated that they are still receiving plenty of business. I sent countless emails back and forth with them pleading for a refund or a new date, but I did not receive any compassion or empathy in return. They told us that if we wanted to secure the February date, we would have to start over with our payments, which would mean we would pay over 13k for just the wedding venue! We ended up cancelling our contract and loosing $3,333. Our state's second surge was worse than the first, and our original date would have been in the very middle of it. My fiancé and I know we made the right decision. We did loose several thousand dollars from other vendors, but those vendors told us that the money we had already put down would be applied to a future date if we desired. We don't know what our wedding will look like now without the money we lost from the Paseo. I really hope that future brides have a better experience with this venue, but we were very disappointed. It was my dream wedding venue, and I will always be disappointed that our wedding did not take place here. read more

Hands-down, the best venue out there. The venue is absolutely breath-taking. The process of booking is so seamless and their employees help with every step of the way. Getting married can feel so overwhelming as a bride, but the Paseo will ease your stress. The weeks and days leading up to your wedding are well-organized and the day of, is absolutely perfect. The Paseo knows what they are doing. Myself, my husband and my entire family were astonished on how well the night flowed from one event to the next. We looked at this venue when it was still in its building stages and at first hesitated to book worried that it wouldn't be done on time for our wedding. The Peraltas assured us that they would and communicated the building progress with us up until our wedding (we were wedding #5 to be hosted there). We visited the site multiple times throughout the process and it each time we were much more excited of how beautiful everything was turning out. It rained that morning during our ceremony that we hosted offsite and both Kayla and Kelsea were quick to communicate with us throughout the day of some possible options if the rain continued for our reception. Thank goodness by the time we arrived for pictures everything had cleared up, the rainbow gave for some great photos! Our guests, mostly from out of state couldn't get enough of the venue itself and it's beautiful nature backdrop. After a year and half we still get compliments about The Paseo and the staff. We waited 15 years to get married, glad we did and found this place-it made our day so much more perfect. read more

Wow! What an incredible venue for weddings. The scenery is stunning, the staff is absolutely amazing and the food is spot on. The backdrop to the Superstition Mountains in addition to the amazing landscape makes for a picturesque event. The ownership is on site, well educated and very precise with their interactions for guests and the bridal party. There is no fake smile's, and there is no detail left out. Wow was I impressed. Attended a wedding at The Paseo recently and the venue was just gorgeous. Very unique in terms of atmosphere. The wedding was outdoors. At the base of the Superstition mountains (with that as a background, how can you go wrong)? Cocktail hour took place in an entirely different connected area, again outdoors, spacious and chic. The dining area indoors was splendid. Quite unexpected and simply gorgeous. The food was exceptional. I highly recommend the buffalo chicken pops as an appetizer. I would be amiss if I didn't mention the attentive incredible staff, especially Sara. She went the extra mile to ensure our needs were met. My husband and I have lived in Arizona for a few years and decided to bring our Midwest family and friends to the desert for our big day. I instantly fell in love with The Paseo during their open house. It has the perfect desert vibe and majestic Arizona feel we were looking to share on our big day. The Peraltas were nothing but sweet and accommodating during the entire process. Kelsea was my direct contact and she couldn't have been more helpful leading up to the big day. Flash forward to our wedding day, we ended up with one of the coldest and rainiest days I think Arizona has seen in quite some time. The Paseo, which is known for its beautiful outdoor spaces and backdrops, doesn't see a ton of weddings with this amount of rain. :) However, we went over our rainy day options and about an hour and a half before the ceremony, we decided the ceremony needed to be brought in the pavilion space and we could leave the doors open to still get the backdrop. Was it the ceremony I had envisioned? No. You never think it will rain on your wedding day, BUT Kelsea and the Paseo team made me feel so comfortable and worked their tails off the entire night to make sure the wedding still went off without a hitch. I don't think I saw them sit still all night - they are such hard workers! To those brides that are hesitant about booking this location in case of rain - don't worry. They have you covered. You might not get the outdoor wedding you were hoping for, but that's always a risk! At the end of the day, they have a back up plan and will work hard to make sure your day is perfect for you and your husband. Our day was even better than we had imagined and now we have a funny story about our cold desert wedding in the rain. It's supposed to be lucky, right? Their organization, customer service, attention to detail, location, coordination, preferred vendors, and payment plans are second to none. It is a gorgeous venue. I received so many compliments from people who flew in from out of state to attend our wedding - many who have traveled all over the world and attended hundreds of weddings. They said our wedding venue was by far the most beautiful they had ever seen. Please please do not use this venue. They are not accommodating at all as they limit you so much. They are expensive for what they give you and it's not worth it. Not a good planning experience at all. Ruined and limited a lot of things for us at the wedding. Example: the venue was super hot and the sun was beating down and they didn't want to bring out the cooler because "in a little bit" they were going to open the doors which was still hot after they opened. My daughter was married here in April. We just got the photos back and again I am reminded about how beautiful the place is. Kelsey was her wedding coordinator and things couldn't have gone more smoothly. One tiny hiccup was that the caterer messed up the napkin color..but wow...if that was my daughter's only complaint, we're golden! And that want even the Paseo fault. First, the good news. The venue is stunning and the layout is perfect. They have three main sections. The ceremonial area with a backdrop of the Superstition Mountains is jaw dropping in it's beauty. Next to the ceremonial section is where the 'happy hour' is hosted. It includes an outdoor fireplace, synthetic grass area, and plenty of room for large parties. Lastly, the dining area is large and cozy, styled after a barn/ski lodge. Very tastefully done. When you reserve The Paseo, you effectively only reserve the venue. They provide a wedding coordinator who guides you through the process of choosing vendors for specific services (e.g. flowers, DJ's, food, etc.). You also must provide your own alcohol. While you must do a bit more work than simply booking a traditional wedding, this model offers you more control over things such as the food. The venue also provides, for a fee, personnel to bus tables as well as the bartenders. The staff did an outstanding job keeping the venue clean during the wedding. In our case, we needed 2 bartenders, one of which was top notch. The 2nd bartender was AWFUL. I've had at least a dozen different guests tell me stories about how bad he was. He was described as arrogant, condescending, uninterested, lazy, mean, and other adjectives that are not appropriate to repeat. I will give you two examples. A guest ordered a bottle of beer from Mr. Attitude who told him they had run out of that brand (approximately 1 hour into the reception). The good bartender overheard the conversation and told the guest to wait as he quickly fulfilled the request. Another guest ordered several drinks for her table. Mr. Attitude berated her for not placing her order correctly. He went on to tell her she should have grouped the order by the type of alcohol. The irony, Mr. Attitude didn't realize the customer was actually a bartender for one of the busiest nightclubs in Phoenix. I was later told that Mr. Attitude is the boyfriend/husband of one of the owners. That would make sense because he spent more time chatting with the wedding coordinator than serving guests. The venue is stunning but Mr. Attitude single handedly put a damper on the event. If not for Mr. Attitude I would have written a glowing review. The behavior of Mr. Attitude is even more inexcusable when you consider that the customer provides the alcoholic beverages. I didn't get his name but Mr. Attitude was clean cut, average build and approximately in his 30's. If you are considering this amazing venue, make sure Mr. Attitude is not working your event. read more

When we booked our wedding day at the Paseo over 2 years ago, we were blown away by how beautiful everything about this venue was. The views are spectacular, and the whole place is just intimately perfect in every way. Despite tons of stress related to planning for a wedding during a pandemic, Monica (our wedding coordinator) was able to work with us to make our wedding day possible, while also allowing us flexibility to create a safe environment for our loved ones. I attended my friend's wedding at The Paseo and loved the venue! The mountain backdrop was beautiful and sunset was absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking. The mountains lit up in a deep red color and that sunset glow really made the photos come out beautifully :p the "barn" where dinner was had a nice wooden feel and the outdoor cocktail area was also very nice. The place itself is nice and has a nice desert view. I recommend hiring your own wedding planner. Do NOT use the one they give you for free which is just the co owner. Shes a bitch! Shes the one in the owners picture on the far right. I hate to say it. She came up to me at a wedding i went to with a bitchy attitude about some tables or seats like she knew me??? I was confused. Her boyfriend is a bartender there. I only found out who she was later that night. She was soo rude to me and i never saw her before. I guess she thought i was someone else because she never came up to me again. The wedding was disorganized since it started. Pay for a real planner if you book this place. Most of the employees were nice and did their job. She just stood around most of the night chatting with her boyfriend. When i went to my car and came back i over heard two employees leaving half way before the wedding was even over upset about work. They either quit or left early. They were not happy with work from what they were saying as i was walking back into the wedding. There were many other things that happened that a wedding planner could have helped this wedding with but i dont want to go into that anymore its over with and i feel bad for the bride and grooms family and friends that went through it. My advice hire a REAL wedding planner or coordinator if you book here. read more

This venue is nothing short of AMAZING! Everything from the views, the design, and the staff! I recently got married there and I literally couldn't of asked for a better wedding! All my friends and family kept talking about the entire experience WEEKS after the wedding. I definitely recommend you have your wedding here if you're looking for an outdoor venue. I do recommend bringing a jacket due to it getting chilly towards the night time :) Nonetheless, if I could get married here again - I would!
