Beautiful wedding venue. My sister and her husband just got married here last weekend and it was wonderful. From the staff to the venue itself it was very easy. Gorgeous venue with very little decor needed. All of our guest raved about the location and how close it was to downtown Gilbert. Family owned and ran. I can not rave enough about this venue.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We just held my daughters wedding at Shenandoah Mills and it was absolutely perfect. From our first visit there to the night of the event they were incredible. The owners are very knowledgeable about events and helped us every step of the way. We visited a lot of different venues on the search for the perfect place most of the venues we visited claimed to be affordable but we're way out of our budget. We were able to customize our package to fit our needs. They offered information for their preferred vendors or gave us the option to use our own. Never felt pressure to choose from their vendor list. We decided to cater on our own, having a chef in the family who prepared everything really helped us save some! Other venues seemed to want to push only their vendors on us and told us it would be a disaster to the food ourselves, which it wasn't! We utilized their option for buffet service which included two amazing young ladies that ensured everything was prepped and ready for dinner service kept the buffet well maintained and full for the entire service. They set up and cleaned up and packed everything for us when the service was completed. Additionally, they set cut and served cake to all the guests. You need to book early to secure your date, you won't regret it. Example we scheduled an appointment and toured the venue at the time there were several dates open, we were in the beginning of our search for a venue and wanted to check out a few before we finalized our decision. We went back about a week later and most dates we were looking for were already booked. As anyone knows weddings can be quite stressful to plan. But everyone we came in contact with at Shenandoah was incredible and helped us every step of the way. Would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. Thanks Shenandoah staff for making my daughters special day amazing!

An exceptional venue for the traditional bride or event planner at heart. What a fabulous staff and quaint feel. Great dining experience and room for a dance floor. The garden is lovely and perfect for photos. Love this rustic establishment and what a gem for the surroundings of Phoenix!

My husband and I got married at Shenandoah in April and it was the perfect venue for our reception! We were able to bring in our own caterer, vendors, decor and alcohol. The venue had everything up for us before my family arrived to decorate. We choose to have our reception outside in the courtyard since we had about 200 guests present. Everyone fit perfectly! We did have to rent about 6 tables for outside since the venue only has 12 tables for outside but they were still able to provide linens. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is, as I'm sure you've read, there are a few flaws in the costumer service. Our experience up until the wedding day was somewhat painless, however at the end of the night, the owner was quick to push us out before our contracted end time even though we had ample time left to clean up after our sparkler exit. All in all, our wedding was perfect and if you are looking for an outdoor space or a rustic mill you need to visit.

    Best Local hotels for guest?

The Doubletree Hotel on Ray and Santan Village Pkwy or the Hampton Inn on Val Vista and Santan Loop 202 are really good hotels and both have shuttles.

If you're considering getting married here, do it! You will not regret it. First, the venue is just beautiful. There's a big white barn with concrete floors (and air conditioning!), which is where we had our ceremony. Plenty of bathrooms, gorgeous bride and grooms quarters. The lawn is huge and green and lovely, and lined with mature trees. It was 90 degrees on my wedding day but it was perfectly comfortable on the property thanks to all the shade from the trees. Parking is limited on site, but there are side streets to park down. The DoubleTree nearby provides a free shuttle. We had 100 or so guests and didn't have any problems. We encouraged carpooling, provided parking maps with Sean's help, and told guests not to block driveways or park too close to stop signs. It's in a residential area, so be mindful of the neighbors. Ok, second, Sean was an incredible host. Having our wedding there felt like having it at a friend's house. Sean was so easy-going and opened the property to us so many times to let us scheme and meet with vendors (many of whom were recommendations from Sean and were outstanding!) On the morning of our wedding, we had a couple acrylic signs that we had made that weren't working with the easels that we brought. Sean said no problem, grabbed some wood, cut it, routed out the middle, and MADE US STANDS for the signs that were absolutely perfect. Can you believe? He's such a good guy, and it's things like that that really make you feel like you're in the right place. Thanks again, Sean and family!

We decided against using this venue even though it would of been nice for our wedding. So I emailed them from the "contact us" section on their website asking to view the property then received a response the next day and after a few emails back and forth we scheduled an appointment even though brief. I was told to text them a reminder. So after texting them a reminder on the day of, no response, then later I sent another text while on the way. They called me and told me they have no memory of scheduling my appointment but that they were up the street and would come meet me there. Then told me to just look around myself and call if I have questions. So my fiancé and I were just walking around the venue alone not knowing what's what. We felt like our wedding or business wasn't even important. We get they're probably busy and deal with a ton of people but just a big lack of respect. A wedding is a special time to a couple they want to feel like it's special and not a burden.

They have packages to choose from but we ultimately decided to book the venue itself and details regarding the bar and then personally book the vendors they have on their booking list. Halfway through planning we got overwhelmed and decided to add the florist, DJ, and photographer on our package and it did cost less than booking outside of the package! We had 100 guests and we got compliments from almost everyone on the venue itself, caterer, flowers, and DJ. For how expensive weddings can be I can confidently say booking with Villa Siena makes it so easy and so worth it! An additional thank you to our coordinator Jessica she was so helpful and kind & neither my husband or I or even our wedding party had to worry about a thing. Everything was so seamless and perfect.

Our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was. We ended up loving our coordinator, Katie. She was incredibly sweet, organized, and helpful during the final stages of planning and on the day of the wedding. The only challenge we experienced was that she was our third or fourth coordinator throughout the planning process. The staff changes made it a little difficult to keep track of previous conversations and details, which added some stress along the way. In the end, everything came together beautifully, but the turnover was a bit tough to navigate. The food catered by the venue was fantastic. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was, and the catering staff did an amazing job. Where we struggled a little was with pricing expectations. Based on our initial conversations and the overall cost of the venue, we assumed more items were included than what ended up being covered. As we got closer to the wedding, there were several additional fees that surprised us and made budgeting harder than expected. For example, we chose not to do signature drinks because there was a $300 fee just to offer them, even though we were providing the alcohol ourselves. It was small things like that which we hadn't anticipated being extra. Even with those frustrations, we truly had a wonderful experience overall. Our wedding day was beyond magical, and the venue and catering staff worked incredibly hard to make everything run smoothly. We are very grateful for their efforts and for the beautiful memories we were able to create there. Overall, we would absolutely recommend having your wedding here.

A fun spot to visit! They offer a tour and a fun store that you can get olive oil, spreads, chocolate bars and tangential products. I would have wanted everything to be made there but for example the pastas and pasta sauces weren't. And they sell other products from elsewhere. If I'm making a trip here, I'd want to buy things that are primarily made here. They also have several dining options (not sure how they're all related). I was pleased with the food we ordered: huge artichoke calzone (soft dough and good filling) for $22 and fish and chips (excellent fries), as well as a bakery that sells cupcakes, scones, cakes, cookies, brownies as well as gelato. We liked the cookies and scone though the latter didn't have the usual consistency of a scone). It was interesting that their Italian cookies were actually slightly cheaper purchased at the counter vs the already packaged box. They also sell cerreta individually wrapped candies. They have indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat there. Employees were very friendly. I'm sure it is a more pleasurable experience going when there aren't a lot of crowds, as it is a tourist spot and has overflow parking.
