I was part of the wedding party and am frustrated and angry on behalf of the couple! There were two ceremonies happening on the same day which is fine. But, the first ceremony went over time and the coordinator seemed like they just didn't care to keep a timely schedule. Our guests had already arrived too and the coordinator lady didn't even touch base with the bride and left her even more stressed. Terrible so called "coordinators". The second thing that just angered me was the incompetent staff. We had 150+ guests waiting for food and the staff didn't give a shit. They had no sense of urgency to quickly scoop the food at the buffet line and keep the line going. I understand there were only like 5 staff with a lot of food but they all had two arms and couldn't put two-in-two together that they could utilize both hands to serve. The bride picked this place because of the packaged deals and got what she paid for. If you actually want a place that gives a shit, you're not going to find it here. read more

I was part of the bridal party in December of 2025. While we were there, there was also another wedding, no big deal as it's a shared venue; however, my bride was treated as an inconvenience and a lot of her wedding had to revolve around the other wedding. They went over their time and had a 1.5 hr ceremony which made the coordinator rush to set ours up and our guests were delayed entrance because there wasn't anywhere to sit as it wasn't ready. The doors were blocked and we couldn't walk in because the other wedding was doing a SECOND grand entrance that lasted over 20 minutes while little kids who were in the wedding pics were being told they couldn't go in and use the bathroom. There was no communication that the doors would be unavailable until someone tried to reach for them. While my bride did her grand entrance multiple guests from the other wedding were allowed to enter through the same doors we couldn't go through during ours. We had a guest come late and she was racially profiled as the security guards tried to usher her into the other hall after she tried to start conversation with our bride (as we set up for grand entrance). For context, the guest was an African American women and the other wedding was a traditional African wedding. Many guests were threatened with being removed from the wedding because their employee was standing in the hallway in front of the door and was surprised to be hit with it when people were exiting and didn't know he was there. The day of coordinator was only seen twice (one of which I had to go search for her to ask what time we were lining up) and left early after introducing my bride to the head chef who knew very minimal English. Their contracted photographer took minimal pictures and spent more time on her phone then left early without saying anything. Multiple employees looked bored and were on their phones throughout the night which showed they didn't care about being apart of someone's special day. The wait staff also seemed incredibly angry the whole time and had no hospitality towards guests. read more

Villa Tuscana was the perfect venue for my son's wedding. They provided every detail and we booked it last minute one month before the wedding. They answered all of our questions from the beginning and we were able to visit the venue several times prior to the wedding. Villa Tuscana has so many good vendors that we didn't need to do everything on our own with such short notice for a wedding. As for the day of the wedding they did an unbelievable job. They took care of everything and because of that the couple was able to enjoy their day. We had a few hiccups with the wedding dress and the photographer and head waitress solved all of the problems. They were adamant about making an appointment to tour the venue, yet when the time came for said appointment, they couldn't be bothered to get up. Homegirl just slapped a packet in front of me, and went back to her computer. Ok, I guess this a self guided tour then. Overall, the venue is....an eyesore. Very outdated. Black ceiling in the foyer, carpeted stairs....sorry but GROSS! If you're going to have outdated decor, at least keep it clean. There were big red stains on the stairs. Also the outdoor ceremony space is literally in the parking lot. They like to pretend that it isn't, by putting up fake greenery, but it's hard to ignore that you're literally in the parking lot. Also, sucks that they hold two events on the same day, that is not special for either event. Bottom line, tacky looking "venue" and staff that literally doesn't care. But how can you blame them when they work at a place like this? Please don't lower your standards and have any sort of event here. read more

We had our wedding here two weeks ago. While the venue ad decor are beautiful I have to say the customer service was NOT. There was lack of communication and confusion about what is included in the DJ package and for that reason we had to provide our own Audio equipment and uplighting. We weren't told we would have to provide forks for our guests for wedding cake until the week of the wedding. The Coordinator that booked us was no where to be found once our planning began and she was one of the main reasons we went with Villa. She was so sweet! The Coordinator we had was very unexpressive and seemed so unenthusiastic and passionless which is a damper on such a special and once in a lifetime occasion. A smile would have been nice! We had to wait until the month before to know when our wedding rehearsal would be which was very inconvenient for us and our wedding party as we couldn't plan other events until we had this date such as our rehearsal dinner, Bachelor party, etc. We were sent a Google Calendar event invite for 90 minutes for our final meeting but at about 50 minutes the Coordinator started to rush us stating that another family had arrived for their rehearsal so we needed to wrap up. Frustrating! We were told we had 90 minutes! Then the WORST WORST thing happened. The day before our wedding we were informed that another wedding would be taking place AT THE SAME TIME AS OURS right across the hall! No Bride wants to see another Bride in the courtyard while taking photos before the ceremony AND AFTER!!!! It wasn't fair to us or the other couple. Whenever they opened their Hall doors their loud band playing music would fill the hall while we were having quiet spiritual moments during our ceremony. We were not informed this was a possibility when we booked or we would have gone somewhere else. And we never received an explanation or apology from Villa's staff after. Ever. Not even after we filled out their paper survey before leaving the night of our wedding where I clearly stated we were I happy with their service. Not even the week later when we went to pick up our deposit. Nothing was said. All of this to say: beautiful venue. But document EVERYTHING. Ask lots questions. Be prepared for anything when it comes to customer service. Lastly get your own wedding coordinator! Our friends encouraged us to do this even though a Villa Coordinator is provided and we are MORE than glad that we did! We used Weddings and Events by Trina. For these reasons we give the venue and decor a 5 stars but the staff gets 1 so we'll say 2 stars overall. read more

For the cost of this venue, I was very disappointed. After 9 months of planning and $15k, the day of my son's wedding ended up being poorly managed and unorganized. At the rehearsal, they only ran through the ceremony once....kind of....it was a very rough walk through. On the day of the wedding, when I went in to put the appetizers in the kitchen, as instructed, no one knew what was going on. I was told that the hot appetizers would be on the warmers during the ceremony so they would be hot when served and, as it turned out, they were not. The burner were not even lit as people were going through the line to eat and many guests got cold food. Cold food that I made from scratch and spend a lot of time and money on. I cannot tell you how disappointing that was for me. In addition to the cold food, the chip and fruit bowls were not being filled back up, we had to ask. I had TWELVE bags of chips! When I spoke to the coordinator about the situation, she gave a halfhearted apology and was not very nice about it, as one would expect. Everything the day of the wedding was so unorganized and such a disappointment for the amount it cost. Thank heavens the bride and groom were so focused on each other. read more

Writing this review prior to my event happening only to warn ppl looking into booking during this pandemic. The venue is beautiful and the staff has been friendly. BUT PLEASE NOTE they will not work with you during this pandemic. As the covid numbers sky rocket in AZ and public events have been canceled, people of course are staying home. The hall stated it's not their fault, so we MUST move forward or pay and additional $1,500-$3000 to move our date. We have already paid thousands of dollars so we can't financially afford more, but we are now forced to host an event when family and friends are not able to make it as their health is a priority. Very disappointed in the Venue's lack of consideration to its customers and community. We never expected a refund as it's no ones fault, but I didn't expect such high rescheduling costs. Words honestly cannot express how PERFECT my wedding day was because of Villa! From the very beginning, even in the midst of a global pandemic, Adriana, Shelby and Nicole have always been super supportive and open in communicating with my husband and I if any questions came about. Their organization, compassion, and professionalism from beginning to end made the day so easy. The vendors provided for you are top notch! Jason with Arizona Wedding Photographers (in house photographer with Villa) was SUPERB and so kind and friendly! Babbo Italian Eatery (one of the options available for catering) was SO GOOD-seriously, we had so many compliments from our guests! The DJ Eddie who is also provided by Villa through Arizona DJs Entertainment played the GREATEST wedding playlist of all time! We also had some outsourced vendors, and Villa was extremely accommodating and ensured set up was a breeze for them as well. And the decor is STUNNING! Seriously. The ballrooms are also big, so you don't need to worry about running out of room for a dance floor. You are given time to layout your wedding design, and they have so many colors, centerpieces, and options to choose from! It's kind of crazy that you can find high quality vendors, beautiful atmosphere, and the kindest wedding coordinators, all in one place! I recently attended a wedding at the venue and I have to it say that the food at this venue takes the prize for the worst food I have ever had at a wedding. The wedding started at 4:30 and we arrived at 4pm. We started lining up for the ceremony and the wedding planner was extremely unprofessional and the owner was no where to be found during cocktail hour. Everything was pushed back almost two hours but I was able to grab a cheap appetizer that had been made by an outside catering company which looked good but was filled with a lump of blue cheese covered with a few strands of caramelized onions. I was so hungry I ate it despite the bad combo. I was able to get a few slices of beef before they shut it down. The line at the bar was at least 30 people deep and the female bartender looked very overwhelmed! The pictures of the venue online did not look anything like it did in person, it looked like cheap and from the 1980's. The decor was outdated and there were about 4 staff members to fill pitchers of soda and put them on the table. Some were orange soda, others had sprite, coke, diet coke and root beer, there was no consistency. Throughout the evening, the dance floor became a sheet of ice and we asked the staff to clean up the spilled drinks. Never did they help us until one person slipped and then they took it seriously. Overall, the venue was pure disappointment, I'm glad I was not a guest and it was not my father who paid for this venue, there are many other options in the Phoenix area that would have provided better venue and services. Final word to others getting married, DO YOUR RESEARCH before you book. This venue gets very few stars in my book. read more

My husband and I toured Villa Tuscana twice - once in 2017 and then after a surprise pregnancy, we went again in 2018. Both times we were absolutely sure that this was the venue for us. In August of 2018, we put down our deposit. Because it is an all-inclusive venue, we did virtually no planning and coordinating. They took care of all details aside from the 2 outside vendors we chose to bring in. We were always contacted with plenty of notice for events such as food tastings, rehearsal date, final consultation, etc. Any questions or concerns we had were immediately addressed. On the wedding day, everything was set up beautifully and perfectly. We chose the mexican food for our dinner and it was great! I agree with the brides to be, after booking our event, we are not given the courtesy of postponing or given a refund. We were told as many as 150 can attend and will be required to sign a waiver. I would think they would be willing to work with guests as this is a pandemic and has not happened due to either faults. We even received an email stating NOT to even ask about it because the answer will be No. This place is beautiful but their policy and attitudes have been poor and crappy. I've even written a letter to the Governor about them and what they are doing to people. I hope this gets some hype, because they are in the wrong. read more

Absolutely love everything about this place! I got married here in 2015 and the staff made it the easiest to plan! We had a Chicago Bears themed wedding and I feel like the colors were matched as best as they could be. They had so many colors of linens to choose from. I received 85% of my stuff all inclusive. Linens, centerpieces, cake, dj, photographer/videographer, food, and servers. The only things we paid for were the florist, the party bus, and a band that we wanted to have. The hall it's self is very beautiful but the carpet and decoration flowers really ruined it for me. The flowers were to out dated and the carpet made the hall look very cheap. I had my reception here. The location was perfect, because the ceremony site was just one mile up north where my church is. We looked at 2 venues, and this was the first one. I loved everything about it. On the way to look at the second venue, all I could think about was this one. I knew this is where I wanted my reception, and I'm so glad I went with my gut. So many things were inclusive, which was great because I was also graduating from school and working, so I didn't have much time to plan my 9 month wedding. But if people can grow humans in 9 months, we could plan a wedding in that time frame, right? Having the food, photographer, cake, bartender, security and DJ included helped so much. You have the option to find your own vendors but we went with theirs, and everything was perfect. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I would just pop in during the planing process to ask Nicole (event coordinator) a random question, which she would always answer and never seemed rushed or too busy to help me. The cake was delicious and beautiful, the photographer knew exactly what she was doing, the DJ made sure the dance floor was rolling, the food was so yummy, and the bartender was fun!! On the day of the event Nicole was there for a while to make sure everything ran flawlessly, the wait staff were SO attentive and wonderful, and everything was more than I could have ever imagined for my dream reception. The decorations were just beautiful, it was the perfect day. I'm so glad I chose this venue :) On a side note- make sure you bring your own bar everything, from booze to limes to cups for drinks. This review is for Arizona Wedding Photographers out of Villa Tuscana. They don't even deserve 1 star. Before our wedding they promised we would receive a blown up photo taken the night of the wedding with a gold frame. We did not receive it the night of the wedding so I called the next day and they said they would mail it to us. They never mailed us the photo. They said the photos would be ready in 1 month. They were not, it took way longer and clearly they rushed because none of the photos were edited. When we finally received our wedding photos there were more photos of the fucking ugly venue then there were of my groom and I. All the photos of the wedding party were blurry. Photos friends of mine took on their iPhone turned out better than our "professional" wedding photos. The worst part is I cannot go back and change our photographer. I will have to live the rest of my life on the happiest day of my life with horrible wedding photos. Also Arizona Wedding Photographers NEVER respond to emails. Horrible experience. Venue is by far the most Convenient and affordable place. It's was a beautiful set up. Sad part about this venue is their hosting staff. Bartender and carters thought it was okay to go in the back area and take shots. Also leaving at long periods of time that allowed the party to serve themselves. When this matter was brought up to Nicole she seemed concerned just few days after I received an email stating they reviewed the "cameras" and apparently my accusations were not true because the bartender was a lawyer and that they needed to give their hosting party breaks which is totally fine with me but they had enough for back up where some can take a break and some can still attend the party and that wasn't the case. This was most embarrassing part of my night. Now to have management send me an email they didn't "see" anything is disappointing my own family has photos and Snapchat videos of those hostesses. Just be careful of what they sell to you because unfortunately in their eyes they were not wrong in this situation. read more

This review is actually a bit late since I had my wedding back in September 2020, but I figured it was better than not leaving one at all lol! My wedding day at this venue was very smooth. The set up and take down were flawless and I barely had to do a thing. It was very helpful and all the employees were kind! The only bump that I feel worth mentioning was my day of coordinator. She was a really sweet girl but I'm not sure if it was because she was maybe shy, introverted, or possibly non confrontational but it felt like she wasn't giving me and the wedding party much instruction when it was needed. Also something that did frustrate us a bit was that 20 mins before the ceremony, a girl who was having a quince next door went to our outdoor ceremony set up while guests were arriving and had professional photos taken in her gown in the middle of the aisle. I found it rude and inconsiderate on her part, but the reason I list it here is because the coordinator had seen it but didn't confront it at first. My bridesmaids had to make a complaint for there to be something done about it. I wouldn't have minded if my guests hadn't arrived yet, but in reality the outdoor ceremony costed us an extra $800 as opposed to an indoor one so I felt like it should've been more carefully monitored. Once my bridesmaids made the complaint, the coordinator was very kind and apologized and went to fix the problem. So I do appreciate her and her effort, but for future reference I feel like that is something they should keep a better eye on and be more assertive in explaining proper boundaries for those days where two events are happening at once. Other than this, I can honestly say it went smoothly and we had the best time! If you're looking for an affordable and all inclusive venue where you barely have to lift a finger, this place is it! read more

It was an very intimate space which was the perfect setting for this wedding or any wedding for that matter. We had our wedding reception at Villa Tuscana last June 27, 2015 and up to this day, our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed our wedding. We only had less than six months to plan everything. And due to a very limited budget, we decided not to hire a wedding planner/coordinator; which is why it was a blessing when we found Villa Tuscana Reception Hall at the Phoenix Bridal Show last January. I posed a challenge to Gretchen, the banquet manager at Villa Tuscana. One, I had a tiny budget but I wanted a lot of things. Two, we only had less than six months to plan everything. Villa Tuscana rose up to the challenge and passed it with flying colors. Working with the people from Villa Tuscana felt like I had one of those expensive wedding planners. They took care of most everything I needed for my wedding. It almost seemed as if all our family needed to do was just show up because almost everything was already taken care of. From the first-class personalized service of Villa Tuscana's Gretchen from day one to the elegantly decorated venue and superb food and beverage service on the day itself; from the scrumptious food catered by Babbo Italian Eatery to the amazing decadent cake from Bamboo Bakery; from the awesome music selection and program coordination by Arizona's DJ Jerry Topete to the coolest and impressive photography service of Jordan from J&L Photo and Video; my wedding could not have been any more perfect than it turned out to be. All of these came in the most affordable package that Villa Tuscana had offered us in January. One would think that with a tiny budget, one can't get the wedding of their dreams. Not with Villa Tuscana. One would also think that without a wedding coordinator, one would be stressed out on their own wedding day. Again, not with Villa Tuscana. I got what every bride deserved to have on their wedding day: pampering and spoiling. This bride did not lift a finger. No, ma'am. In fact, there was not an ounce of worry whatsoever. I actually enjoyed my own wedding and truly felt that it was indeed OUR party, that we were the guests of honor. With Villa Tuscana, anyone can have their dream wedding. It is either that or my family and I are just really lucky people to have found this gem that is Villa Tuscana. Awesome recreation hall. We got married last month at this facility and I have to say it was the perfect choice for a big beautiful white wedding. There prices are a little steep when you first see then but honestly you have the money its well with it. Our package included everything really and it wasn't even the top package. It takes all the stress out of planning the wedding. The staff is great and always available to you no matter how busy your life is. Our dj was jerry and he made the night memorable. Villa Tuscana is a beautiful venue! Adriana the owner is very nice, professional, and helpful. My husband and I had our wedding reception at this location. The support staff the day of the wedding did a good job of making sure the food from our caterer was set up nicely and put away nicely. We opted for a plan that did not include many extra services but we were still happy with almost all of the services we did receive. Villa Tuscana does take payments and there is a security deposit. Payments are in the form of check and they will take credit cards but there were some other stipulations involved with doing that. The only reason I did not give Villa Tuscana five stars is because when I went in the day before my reception I noticed that my entry way table was very plain. I asked if we could put one of the table centerpiece decorations or something there to add to the look of it. The staff member Rachel agreed but when I got to my wedding reception the next day there was nothing but my few items on the big table. Also, I noticed that the floating candle centerpieces that I had chosen were minus one glass out of a three set. I deduced that since the other room being set up for a wedding/reception across the hall had chosen those same centerpieces (I could see into the other room from the hallway) the venue chose to put the whole sets in the other room because they may not have had enough for both rooms. I had a "bridezilla" moment to my bridesmaid about it but decided that it was not worth the drama to demand that my floating candle centerpieces had three glasses like they had originally showed me when I chose them. The day before my event I also discussed with Rachel putting the square mirrors under the floating candle sets as I had seen when I came in the month before to choose my final centerpieces. She told me that the mirrors were a little knicked up and would take away from the look of the tables. Had I been a true bridezilla these may have been big issues for me but I am more easy-going as my husband will attest. This did not ruin my experience with Villa Tuscana but it did make me a little sad that I got less than what I had originally liked. It is worth it to go look at Villa Tuscana and go over the different pricing plans and add-ons. It is truly a beautiful venue that is in a quiet shopping plaza with many other wedding themed stores. Just keep in mind that if you are very particular you may want to be adamant about specific things getting done. My wife and I got married at Villa Tuscana in July. We couldn't be happier with the venue and everyone who assisted in the process. We dealt mostly with Nicole, and she was incredible. She was very easy to work with as well as patient as we tried to figure out everything we wanted. On the day of the wedding, she checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. We had pictures right after our ceremony and she even asked us what we wanted from the bar and brought it to us. This may seem like a small detail from our wedding, but those are the type of things that go a long way. They helped make the hectic times a little bit easier. There's so much going on and they were always available to make sure we were taken care of. Through the entire process they will make you believe you are dealing with professionals yet they refuse to accept responsibility for when things go wrong. Everything was great up until the night of my wedding when they served dinner completely different than what I had seen plated and tasted. They gave me three different versions of what they did and when I kept asking them to prove me wrong not once did the owner want to step up and have a sit down with me to show me otherwise she just kept going around making senseless excuses. They have amazing decor, but at this point their amazing decor does not justify the poor food quality and the low customer service they have when you question them. read more

My wedding was just at Villa Tuscana this past weekend. I honestly couldn't say a bad thing about these wonderful people!! I was in a few times from when we booked them in July, and they were always so willing to sit down and talk to me about my worries and my questions. In the end the hall was decorated even better then I thought. They were so willing to help me and I had a lot of last minute minor changes and they were there helping me set up the room the way I wanted it to be!!! I also love that the base price includes SO much. Most places that I was going to to have chair decorations it was going to be an extra charge. To do this centerpiece was going to be an extra charge. Villa Tuscana does have a deluxe package but the base package includes so much that if you can't afford the deluxe items you still can have a wide selection of choices! Also there are some great things that come with the package, the DJ is included, the cake is included, and the photographer is included. I highly recommend taking a look at Villa Tuscana for any kind of big event that you need plan! read more
