I was a guest at a wedding held at The Croft Downtown on a rainy day. Despite the cloudy, windy, and rainy weather, Croft made sure we had a great time! From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, the flow was smooth and the bride and the groom knew that we were well taken care of, which was one of the most important things for them for the day. I love that our bartenders take Venmo as a type of tipping method!! I don't bring cash with me anymore, so this totally skip the embarrassment. The appetizers and everything at the buffet dinner were delicious. The servers brought in trays of food consistently, so we were never waiting. Also, VERY IMPORTANT: thank goodness for double-sided buffet line! We were the last table but didn't have to wait long for our food. The steak was delicious- I like it medium rare. Special mention for the chicken masala... Honestly, it would have been even better without the white cream...also, I thought it was going to be a brown sauce. I must have missed something. Overall, great venue. Granted it's in downtown, I felt safe being there late at night. Love that the off-duty officers were right there at the entrance when we left. read more

I don't know where to even begin to thank the team and staff at the Croft for all of their help! From start to finish, this process has been amazing. The ability to customize parts of the packages and aspects of our wedding is so special. Every meeting we had with our coordinators along the way was invaluable; they were helpful, communicative, always available to talk over ideas and just executed our vision beautifully. Their intuitive and thoughtful touches were so so appreciated. The day-of team was absolutely fantastic and I honestly could not thank them enough: from organizing our décor and making our vision even better, to ensuring the day went so well! We just felt so taken care of throughout our entire day. I just feel like at every step of the way, no idea was impossible or unobtainable; they all really just took our vision and made it better than we could have imagined and I wish that for every bride and couple who create their special day. The experience was everything that we were looking for and more! Our wedding was small, 30 people total. This space is able to hold a much larger group but we still felt cozy and they did a great job of not making it look or feel empty. They through in little surprises here and there and made us feel so special on our day. I appreciated their flexibility and assistance with the planning appointments and everyone was incredibly knowledgeable in what. Would best fit our situation. Having free rein to pick and choose whatever we wanted within the package was awesome and I honestly feel like it was worth the money paid. I have yet to meet a bride that was less stressed than myself through the planning process. They just recently renovated the buildings and they are lovey without loosing their charm. The vendors are great, everyone LOVED the food (which is not common for a wedding). All of the vendors took a good amount of time to get to know us and our tastes which I appreciated as well. Even the Photo Booth operator went above and beyond. I have so many good things to say, and sincerely do not have any complaints. All I can say is WOW! The Croft blew it out of the water from start to finish. We booked with them in November and our wedding was in May. I was diagnosed with breast cancer the week after we booked and working with The Croft made my life so much less stressful planning a wedding and going through cancer treatment. Natalia was exceptional and really loves what she does. She even included extra details the day of the wedding like reusing flowers that were left from the previous wedding, providing table numbers and some extra candles. The all inclusive component was so far past our expectations and the staff were amazingly perfect with the outcome far past our dream vision. 90% of our guest flew in from California and 16 couples said "this was the best wedding we have ever been to!" Natalia, Mikayla,Katrina,Hayden and last but not least DJ. RAFAEL! were over the top with patience, compassion and amazing intention in giving us our dream wedding. I continued to cry throughout the night due to being filled with gratitude from their staff. I attended an event here last week and it was incredible. They have a couple outdoor spaces and an indoor space, all with lots of opportunity for transformation. The staff was available everywhere serving food and cleaning the common areas. The entrance had "hand drinks" in the wall and that was definitely a hit. Trendy, beautiful, and a great event to host up to hundreds of people. It was a perfect December night, but they did have heat lamps for us in the outside spaces and that was great. read more

I had the absolute pleasure to play violin yesterday for a beautiful wedding here and this venue is SO gorgeous and not like any others I've seen! It's so classic and I LOVED the ceremony space. Most of the reviews here are for the Croft as a wedding venue but my review focuses on the Michelangelo exhibit. It was excellent. I don't believe I will ever make it to Rome so here is a way I can see the Sistine chapel paintings. I give The Croft credit for the way these paintings are displayed because they have figured out how to put many large paintings in a small space. It is really interesting to wander around the two rooms listening to the audio guide to get a better understanding of each painting. (I do recommend getting the audio guide because it's very informative for those of us who may not know much about this period of time.) I think you should count on spending about an hour here. And there are several benches around so you can sit down and that's important for many people. read more

Attended a wedding here and it was very sloppily executed. Don't know if the Croft provides wedding planners but I assume they must since they sell wedding packages. The so-called "Chapel" is very stripped down and it seems no care was taken to even "pipe and drape" the fire equipment. If you're an "Industrial vibe" fan (or like the look of long abandoned warehouses), this is the place for you. Bridesmaid and groomsmen, entering through a side door, seemed confused about whether they should cut through the middle of the pews where people were sitting, stepping over guests' feet (some did) or do it the right way...by Walking around the back of the last pew and proceeding down the center aisle. Clearly there was no personnel to advise or direct them. Was particularly astonished by the introduction of the bride and her father before they walked down the aisle... The metal doors at the back of the venue were flung open and "surprise", there's the Bride standing in front of a dumpster with her father... in a parking lot! Seriously, venue managers, can't you place some kind of a scrim or barrier between the dumpster and the bride on her special day? Thank God for Photoshop (I guess). 2 bars positioned closely together served about 150 guests at the pre-dinner cocktail reception... Extremely long waits and very congested trying to even get to the bar. Dinner was actually delicious, but they ran out of some items before the remaining 6 tables were told that they could "proceed to the buffet". No cake cutting "ceremony" was announced or performed... just a "rumor" that there was cake at a far back corner of the room... Which was simply just plated & tossed on a long banquet table. Dining tables featured Floral centerpieces that looked dead or dying, cheap plastic gold "charger" plates, & half filled glasses of flat champagne already sitting on the tables when guests arrived to sit down for dinner. We were merely guests, but if I had been the one responsible for paying for this, I would've been very upset. Cannot believe any of the positive reviews, except that they seem to be from very young patrons with low expectations who apparently are not accustomed to attending a truly elegant & well-executed wedding. Positive: The chapel was beautiful. Simple yet elegant. The pews were a great classic touch. Food was superb with generous portions. Reception space was pretty. Bathrooms were cute and had needed items to make the evening comfortable for the ladies. Valet Parking was simple and convenient. Negative: AV sound was not great in chapel. Cracking noise and sound in/out. Acoustics in both venues were subpar at best. Nothing to absorb the sound for guests. HOT. HOT. HOT. The AC could not cool the chapel or reception area. It was so hot. Would think a venue of this caliber would have MANY commercial ceiling fans and possibly have floor fans to keep air moving, as well as more comfortable for guests. They have none of this. **I notice I am not the only review with this. So venue owners have not tended to this. Would not host an event here during any season over 85 degrees. To have a bride/groom host cocktail hour outdoors on a 109 day was a bit shocking. Men's shirts were soaked. There were 2 evap coolers, but could have used a few more, as well as fans for guests to stand by to keep cool. I consider this a venue issue, not bride/groom. read more

Amazing. Incredible. Breathtaking. I got married at The Croft this past April. It's so hard to find the words the describe all that The Croft encompasses, but those are a few that come to mind. From the moment we toured the venue with Angela (the owner), not only were we completely blown away by the space, but also the level of detail, knowledge, and experience that her and her husband Mark, as well as their team provided. Although planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, Angela sat down with us, heard us voice our goals for the wedding, and then began to recommend, reach out to, and even book vendors on our behalf that fell into our criteria and price range. The day of the wedding-- I truly can say as a bride I did not worry about a thing. That usually never happens! The Croft was the main point of contact for vendor communication, decor, and pulled it off seamlessly. They even went the extra mile to make sure drinks were waiting for us after the ceremony, before we took family photos! Our guests can not stop gushing about how beautiful our wedding was and how perfect the location was. Our family has thrown a lot of parties, but no one throws one like the Croft. Our family purchased a Groupon for an event at held at The Croft (the Groupon tickets being sold by the touring event, not Croft themselves), and the sellers weren't very explicit about scheduling tickets, Covid rules, etc. I wrote the Croft directly and was surprised when owner Angela replied herself, almost immediately. She apologized for the confusion, provided clear instructions, and ensured we got to see the exhibit without any problems. It was great customer service! We've been to the Croft for numerous events now - such as candlelight concerts and the Michelangelo exhibit and our experience has always been great. They have a beautiful space and they go above and beyond with Covid safety precautions including great signage, temperature checks, etc. All staff are always friendly and courteous. read more

I'll start with the good things I have to say about the Croft. It is a beautiful and very customizable space, and they have good event planning staff on hand to make sure things go smoothly on your wedding day. The days leading up to the wedding, however, were not so pleasant. Disclaimer: I'm dying of cancer, so some things about my wedding that don't apply to everyone. BUT I think the tips below apply to most people (unless you have an unlimited budget, in which case disregard). If you get married here, you will: - Be required to use Angelic Grove as the in-house florist and pay 2-3x more for your flowers/ decor than you would if you DIY or went elsewhere. AG claims that they have relationships with wholesalers and florists, which may be true, but any savings they get will not be passed on to you. For example: AG charges $2.50 per votive candle. At the time of this writing, votive candles retail for less than $1. AG wanted us to use 200+ candles. You do the math. (ETA: you might be thinking that the items are expensive because they include the cost of setting up. Not so. You'll be charged separately for labor.) - Be shamed and yelled at if you are brazen enough to suggest cost saving solutions. Jason J's comments about the owner, Mark, are spot on. It does not matter what your budget is or how legit your concerns are. When I explained to Mark that I couldn't afford to pay $4000 for flowers (turns out that cancer treatment is expensive and might hamper your ability to generate income - who knew???), he reacted with shock and offense. I tried to explain WHY our budget was curtailed, and he told me that he *did not appreciate me throwing my cancer in his face all the time.* My friends. Let us pause in this moment. I've been trying to plan a wedding in two months because my doctor has literally told me I might not have much longer to live. And yet. Mark Karp has successfully made me doubt whether my condition is really serious enough to justify asking for cheaper flowers. I think we've reached Peak Gaslighting. - Be required to choose a caterer from the Croft's list of exclusive vendors. Our caterer was professional and lovely. But they (the cheapest on the Croft's list) still cost $10 more per guest than quotes I got from other caterers. $10 may not seem like that much, but come back to me when a hundred people RSVP to your wedding. - Have to chase down employees who mysteriously vanish when you have important questions. Every time I had a question about availability, pricing, etc. I was told by my hapless coordinator that she would have to ask the owners and they just happened to be out of town. For example, I was promised a floral estimate by a certain date, and it was delivered two weeks after that date (and three weeks before the wedding!) - Not know what your wedding or bouquet will look like until you show up to get married. AG doesn't do samples or previews. For example, the day of my wedding, there was a truck (yes) and two enormous balloons saying LOVE in the reception space. I had not been warned and they didn't really go with the decor I had in mind. So it's kind of like a surprise party! Just what you wanted for your wedding. - Pay $550 for "security" (please see Jason J's review for the absurdity of this, I'm too tired to write anymore). When we were shopping around for venues, we received assurances from Angela that they could work with any budget. Any further attempt to get an estimate was shut down. We foolishly trusted her. Having gone through the wringer now, I don't see how anyone could pull off a wedding here for less than $25k. Price transparency is a huge issue in the wedding industrial complex. In an effort to draw away a little bit of the curtain, here are some of the prices quoted to me by AG and compared to retail. Votive candles: $2.50 each from AG. $0.75 each from Amazon at the time of this writing. Leaf garland: $16.50 per foot from AG. Prices vary from $4.50 to $10 per foot from Sam's Club, FiftyFlowers, or Blooms by the Box. Cloth napkins: $1.05 each from AG. $0.83 each from Bed Bath & Beyond. Can actually be found for much cheaper but I chose a well-known store for the example. I suspect that Mark or Angela might comment on how they generously gave me a discount in light of my ~condition that so aggravated Mark. The discount was 10% off the cost of rentals, which totaled $303. I paid the Croft and Angelic Grove almost $10k, for a discount of roughly 3%. Thanks guys! One final fun fact: The Croft took pictures of me and my husband for marketing purposes, posted them on Instagram, and tagged me as my bridesmaid. It's one thing to not be able to tell Asians apart, another to forget the name of the BRIDE who has been emailing you and sending you checks for months. read more

This place is known for trip hazards, especially where there are unmarked steps and ramps (that aren't up to code). Weddings are hard enough- between all the details, vendors, seating, etc it's exhausting. Angela, Mark and all the staff at The Croft could not have been better to work with. We had major issues during COVID and had to change the location and date several times. The Croft took us in (prior venue went under during lockdown) and made the process seamless. They took our ideas and made them better than we imagined- when I walked in the reception room, I was stunned at how gorgeous everything looked. We had so many compliments- several said it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to! I can't recommend The Croft enough- they were patient with my A+ OCD personality and made a crazy day effortless and full of amazing memories. read more

We went to a Duke Ellington tribute at the Croft on Thursday. The seating was socially distanced, but despite the current CDC guidelines everyone had to wear a mask the whole time. The band and singer were outstanding, the Croft staff friendly, and the candlelight atmosphere beautiful. The acoustics with the uncovered brick walls are not good and we were unable to understand anyone speaking on stage. The cheap, wooden, folding chairs are so uncomfortable. My date had to stand up for a while to relieve her back pain. I kept wishing for the wonderful concert to be over so I could stop squirming to lessen my discomfort. The other thing that spoiled the experience is that there was nothing to drink - not so much as a bottle of water. Croft could have sprung for a 10¢ bottle of water and even sold it for $4 and it would have been nice. I will not go back to anything at The Croft that I have to sit through with a mask, bad sound, horrible chairs, and nothing to drink. read more

Based on everything I'd seen and read about The Croft and Angelic Grove, I definitely had high expectations for the wedding day and how everything would come together, and this team completely delivered and exceeded those expectations. The team at The Croft and Angelic Grove made everything so easy for us was able to take my blurry vision and bring it to life in the most beautiful way--the floral arrangements, tablescapes, and little details they curated were honestly beyond my wildest dreams. During the entire event, I was able to truly let go and experience everything without worrying if things would happen on time or be executed well--this team is so trustworthy and were absolutely on top of the timeline and all the moving pieces. Many of us noticed and had a huge problem with how the owner took half of the tips away from the bartender because she helped for PART of the night. I guess all of the money she made from the cost of the wedding wasn't quite enough of her. Hopefully she takes better care of her wedding guests than she does her employees. read more

The chapel is great but I strongly do not recommend having ur reception here they charge way too much for nothing my daughter had a wedding here and the staff was horrible not accommodating and all they would say is well u didn't pay for that so instead of trying to make what we did pay for nice they only cared about what u didn't pay for and keep in mind we paid well over $15k for this place and apparently that was still not enough and that did not include food either very disappointing in the service and quality it's a matter of time before this place closes if they keep the staff and the wedding coordinator they have on staff read more

I wasn't going to write this and I was just going to let it all go but when my dad called and let me know how upset my mom was I felt like I needed to write this for future brides to know. Angela called about 2 days before the wedding and asked if Inside Edition could film our wedding for an expo they were doing on weddings getting back to normal after the pandemic. Because of this... it seemed as though Angela was more worried about herself and her business looking good for the cameras rather than the happiness of the bride and groom. There are a few pros.. The venue is gorgeous. The Abbey room or chapel is so beautiful (which will lead to a MAJOR con here in a bit). The space is large. We were able to fit 9 tables plus 2 large tables for bridesmaids and groomsmen, a full bar, desert table, buffet line and a beer truck. Outside we were able to fit our coffee truck. So tons of room. Our guests were all saying how beautiful it was. Now the cons... as I mentioned my mom was very upset. My mother, the bridesmaids and myself were there about an hour early hanging out on the bridal suite. Didn't see Angela when we first arrived. We all just kind of hung out and it could be a little of ours and the photographer fault as to why we weren't ready when Angela came in about 5 minutes before i was to walk down the aisle and seemed frustrated that I wasn't dressed. But again we hadn't seen her. We assume our ready coordinator would come in and say "20 minutes til go time". But nope, just when I was supposed to go to the ceremony was the first time we saw her. So I was rushed getting dressed. This is why My mom was so upset. She didn't get to help me get dressed like she had with my sister and there were no photos of her and I in my dress prior to the ceremony. I had to rush taking a first look picture with my dad. I didn't get to wear the bracelet my mom gave me to wear that my dad gave me on their first anniversary because I was rushed. My bridesmaids were literally putting my jewelry on as we were walking down the hallway to the ceremony. We did the Interview with inside edition right after the ceremony and she continued to press us to "plug" the Croft. Annoying. The BIGGEST complaint I have... the ONLY and I repeat THE ONLY reason why my now husband and I chose the venue was due to the abbey room. Angela was WELL aware that I wanted photos in the abbey room. Our photographer also told her that the ONE request we made was to take photos in the abbey room. So when it came time, she physically stopped us from walking in And said "oh the abbey room is closed, it's being broken down" I asked if there was anyway we can go in for just ONE photo and she said "no they are quick the break it down" I was SO upset and got teary eyed but didn't want Angela to ruin my day so i sucked it up. We spent $12,000 for ONE PARTICULAR PHOTO and she couldn't even let us have that.... a few other things.. every time you pay you will not get a receipt of payment so make sure you write everything down because when they continue to ask you for more and more money it will be up to YOU to keep track of the thousands of dollars they take from you. Mark is an a-hole and condescending. When we made an appointment for the decorations consult I took a few hours off work and they "forgot" about it and were closed... so we had to reschedule and take off another afternoon. When we finally went in for our decorations consult the girl there taking notes said something (I think just repeating what I said) and the look Mark gave her was SCARY as if he was pissed and she should know her place. Uncomfy to say the least. Not happy. Not at all :)) read more

When my fiancé and I first visited The Croft, we were extremely excited with what we had found as the venue suited us perfect. And that's about where the excitement ended. The first person we dealt with was Brittney, who sold us on the venue. She left to peruse a position elsewhere and after that we just kept getting passed around from person to person each time, seemingly without communication from the previous employee. We went in for our initial consultation regarding decor. They insisted we MUST use their sister company Angelic Grove for those services, and we were very clear about certain things we did and did not want. At first it looked like the owner of The Croft Angela was taking notes, however when we went in for the first estimate, it turned out, she must have just been doodling on her notepad. Our estimate was packed full of all kinds of goodies and knick knacks that we not only didn't ask for, some of which we specifically stated we didn't want all. For example, we stated we didn't want anything intrusive or tall for centerpieces as we'd like our guests to be able to interact with everyone at the table. They decided that a 40 inch candelabra with extra arms and crystals hanging down from those arms wasn't intrusive in the least bit. We disagreed. It was at that point, that we decided to go line for line to verify everything in the estimate and remove the items we had no use for, or felt were fluff to inflate the total price for decor. This was not appreciated by Mark, the other owner of The Croft, at all. After that meeting, I, the groom, was removed from the email thread and all correspondence from The Croft/Angelic Grove. Communication from that point with The Croft was pretty much non-existent. There was no pass off to the next person who would be handling our event. They would just email my bride asking for something, as once again, I had been blatantly removed from the emails. The Croft basically waited until the last couple of weeks prior to the wedding to hit us all at once for everything. Being that this was the first time both bride and groom were getting married, it would have been nice to at least be contacted 6, 3, or even 1 month out stating what was still needed or outstanding. The following were just a few of our issues: In our initial contract, there was no clause for a "licensed wedding coordinator". I don't even know who the governing body for that type of licensing is, yet they tried to hit us for this mysteriously qualified person, after we had already made arrangements for our own day-of coordinator. They required security for our wedding and told us the security personnel were going to be uniformed police officers and that the amount we had to pay them was nominal because "they give all the money to charity," However the night of our wedding, the hired security were indeed uniformed, but in pretend police attire, as when we looked closer, the patches on the uniforms read, "Arizona Rangers." Although the Arizona Rangers is indeed a non-profit organization, which "provides law enforcement services in the State of Arizona," we felt the venue was very deceiving in their description of the "uniformed police officers" as this is a volunteer organization which we would not have chosen for our "security" needs. We could have hired "volunteers" on our own; and at a better price than the venue charged us. Transparency issue. The venue had recently added restrooms. When we went in for another meeting my bride asked twice if she could add some of our personal decor to the restrooms. Each time, Mark responded, "You're not going to need to decorate the bathrooms." The second response even more condescending than the first, making my bride feel extremely uncomfortable for asking. In fact, each time we didn't really like an idea from Mark or disagreed with something, he acted very snide, condescending and superior to our apparent simple minds and lack of experience in the industry. Mark actually told my bride during that final viewing that I wasn't able to attend, that after the previous meeting, he was just going to return our money and send us on our way because he didn't like me, the groom. This was a month before the wedding when he said this to my bride. We had a viewing scheduled specifically for centerpieces that had been proposed one Saturday, about 5 months before the wedding. That didn't happen, they just happened to know we were dropping off a check that day. In fact, that viewing didn't happen until about a month before our wedding. These are just a few of the issues we had with The Croft/Angelic Grove. And when we attempted to air our grievances, instead of just listening, and owning some of the very valid issues we had, all they could say is that "everyone loves us..." and that we were "...the one percent that had ANY issues or problems..." with them. I was blessed to be part of the planning process for my friend's wedding. We started with the Croft and after seeing what else was out there we came back in a hurry. The main reason: customer service. This is a well run place from the top down. Angela and Mark, Tristan and everyone else that helped us through the process. Dealing with the owners and a management team that has been working together for such a long time is a big plus. Did I mention the bar? You can bring your own booze. That is a game changer if you have a drinking group. I see other reviews talk about price. Great concern. This is not a nonprofit organization. It is a locally owned business. And as such, it deserves our support. We visited better and worse places, but we ended up at the Croft. This place is so versatile. The bride and groom and the rest of us enjoyed the special day thanks to the hard and meticulous work that the crew of this wonderful venue did. It was a beautiful early March day. read more

This was my wedding venue back in November 2019. Let me just say it was EVERYTHING and a little more. If you are deciding on a venue, this place is best to describe as blank canvas that you can make whatever you desire out of. Check it out, don't just check it off without seeing. You need to see to plot a potential vision. That's what I did, I saw how I wanted it to look and stored it away in my head. Once the day was finally here and I saw all my virtual planning as a reality I had to literally focus my eyes to slow down time and take the moment to look and be so grateful and thankful for the entire day. Couldn't believe it was all for us! My whole jubilant experience with The Croft Downtown team was nothing less than a perfect 10. To start, Tristan, My wedding day coordinator was exactly who I needed her to be at all times. As a bride there are times where you may loose you marbles and need reassurance or just straight up assistance. Anytime I needed to add, change, or even tweak any detail she was always email, text or phone call away with an immediate response. The process of all the décor was also nothing shy from a stupendous, agreeable, accommodating, well-planned encounter. I met once with all my thoughts and with a pen and paper Mark was able to understand my vision and make it happen. Angela out did herself with capturing my idea of how I wanted my flowers to be complimented with the theme and colors I had in mind. You should see my wedding photos, the POP of color in my bouquet was perfection, the look was so elegant and timeless. The bridesmaids had exactly my bouquet but a smaller version and I swear it made the wedding portraits that much more exquisite. Last but certainly not least, working with Ellyse toward the end of event as it was time for Tristan to be off duty, she was very helpful, attentive to my needs and super sweet! As for the set up crew, take down crew, and all venders; I don't know all your names and I hope you see this too, but THANK YOU for being part of our magical evening. Don't go to a concert here. The acoustics are terrible like listening to a band concert in your high school gym. Brick walls concrete floors high ceilings make for reverberating and echoing sound that ruins a concert. Probably the worst concert experience I ever had. read more

We chose to throw our corporate holiday party here for 550 of our most amazing employees. Instead of going to a typical conference room in a hotel (that we've all been in before) we decided to go somewhere new and exciting--the Croft. The professionalism and attention to detail this team has is incredible. From start to finish, they made sure nothing was overlooked. From a candle lit red carpet to shimmering gold chandeliers, this was by far the best holiday party we have experienced. The catering option was our choice, but they recommended M Culinary Concepts. I would HIGHLY recommend. They are by far the best in the valley. Big thanks to the angelic grove team and all their hard work. We held our company holiday party at the Croft this past Saturday and it was amazing. Red carpet rolled out to the street and two spacious open rooms allowed us all to mingle without being on top of one another. Because, hey, we're not that kind of bank. I truly believe picking this venue for our large destination wedding was meant to be. My fiance & I are both from Chicago, but we both have a lot family in AZ so we figured we'd consider AZ. It was obviously my 2nd choice bc I really didn't like the idea of a destination wedding. But that completely changed when I found the Croft. The Croft was actually the 1st venue we visited in person. When we left we were so excited & KNEW it was the place we had to get married at. It was spacious, they would work with our budget, they had a deal w a beautiful hotel that gave our guests a steal of a rate, they were in a great location. We visited 1 other venue after The Croft just so we could saaay we looked at something else. lol But at the end of the day, we knew it was the one! Angela, the owner, has been super sweet, professional, helpful and we absolutely love her. Working with her made us feel even more happy we picked this place. She knew coming into our decor meeting that we were on specific budget. Iol I'm sure, like any owner, she probably would have wished we had a bigger budget, but she didn't hold it against us or make us feel any less important. She also didn't waste our time trying to pressuring us into things we couldn't afford. I can't help but feel like if you go over budget at this place, it wouldn't be because of The Croft...it would be because you made personal choices in doing so. Another thing I really like about The Croft is that it's basically almost like a simple old warehouse, but with beautiful chandeliers. I HATE wedding venues with colored terrible wallpaper or too many designs. Maybe these places can look "brighter", but I can't help but feel like that it's harder to match flowers, color schemes or decorate something to fit your personality/ideas when the venue itself has too much going on. I truly believe The Croft is a venue that can work with any kind of theme, making each event look completely different than another. I don't believe we could've made our visions for a wedding feel personal if we booked at another place. I could go on & on about how much we love, love, love, love The Croft. Literally couldn't imagine getting married at any other place! So ecstatic with our choice. read more
