Where to begin , this is long overdue. As in 3 years overdue. My wedding was September 26th, 2021 and it was one of those three times postponed because of Covid weddings. A nightmare right? Well, thanks to FAB weddings, it wasn't. Ashley was there with me every step of the way. I think I found her on Instagram late 2019 or early 2020 and I'm so happy I did. We went with her desire it all package because she had all the decor I wanted, everything matched the aesthetic I was looking for and she understood my vision. When Covid hit she reached out to all of my vendors to get a new timeline (three times). If it wasn't for her and her team, I wouldn't have survived. The week of she did the rehearsal at my in-laws, I handed everything over to her and I was officially off-duty. The day of could not have been smoother, like BUTTERY SMOOTH. I'm telling you, Ashley and her team ran everything. I never knew if there was an issue or not because they handled it all start to finish. They got there as soon as the venue allowed and decorated the space (minus that giant flower chandelier, that's the Venue). Set up my desserts station, picture frames, table decor, all of the signage, and more. The desire it all package was the way to go! Especially if you don't want to be responsible for buying decor, cleaning it up and packing it away after the wedding. I can't thank Ashley enough. We were effected by the covid regulations and had to change up our original plans. We had hired Ashley before the pandemic hit and while we were still wondering how to move forward when everything shut down she never left our side! We had to change it up from a 150 person wedding to a backyard wedding at my parents house with only 20 people. Looking back I still can't thank her enough. I absolutely loved planning my wedding and it ended up being the best day of my life. But I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it if I didn't have Ashley. She literally saved my wedding day. When you're the bride you're getting ready pretty much all day and enjoying the day with your bridesmaids/ mom. Plus once you're ready you're in your dress and taking photos. We found FAB Weddings through our venue (Recreation Park Golf Course in Long Beach), and are so glad we added day-of coordination services to our package. We didn't have as many helping hands available as maybe other brides and grooms, so it gave us peace of mind knowing we had someone professional to help take care of things. Ashley met with us in person before the big day, kept in contact via email leading up to the wedding, arrived two hours before to set up (that part was a little extra but totally worth it), and stayed through the cake cutting. Ashley was easy to work with and has a great disposition - down-to-earth, reassuring but upbeat. She was prompt about returning emails and had a good working relationship with our venue's coordinator, Katelyn, which made communicating a breeze all around. I only wish my fiancee and I had done a better job on our end by preparing a list of all our props/items in advance (what goes where) since the wedding day is so crazy; fortunately, Ashley seems really intuitive and the set-up was pretty close to what we had in mind anyway. A lot of guests told us afterward how organized and beautiful everything was. We especially appreciated the way things were brought inside as we transitioned from the outdoor cocktail hour to the indoor reception. Ashley arranged our guestbook, card box, leftover programs, and other items on a table that people could access through the night, and it looked great in the background of photos. She also used our cocktail table decorations to make a pretty display in the fireplace behind the sweetheart table. Overall, we were happy to have been referred to FAB Weddings, and the coordinating services exceeded our expectations. Even the next day, it was a nice surprise to see on Instagram that Ashley shared several awesome photos during the day/evening from behind-the-scenes.
