Absolutely loved playing violin here! The waterfall at the ceremony space is absolutely gorgeous. The venue is so pretty and the staff is so friendly. Definitely love setting up here!

My son got married at Colby Falls in Gilbert on 9/3. I own a production company so I provided all of the decor, and audio visual elements for the wedding. I would like to share the pros and cons of booking at this venue for any potential couples to consider. The venue let us basically take over the ball room area. I brought in a live band with full production including back-line, lights, and PA. I also brought in a LED Video wall, and a 8x16 foot hedge wall, which I broke into 3 sections for signage and a selfie station. They had no problem with us setting up this much production. I created all of the centerpieces for the tables in the main ballroom and the cocktail hour, and the backdrop for the alter and sweet heart table. I assume knowing that I myself was setting all of this up along with a team of people I hired was why I had very little help from the onsite event coordinators. They were kind to let us load in and begin set up the day before the Sunday wedding. They let us know at final payment, 10 days out, whether or not we could set up early. The official standard timeline given to us by the venue for set up was initially an hour & a half. This is not enough time at all if you have anything other than centerpieces. We were grateful for the extra time they gave us, but it was still a mad rush. Each time I needed anything from the venue I had to find the event coordinator. They were giving tours all day to potential couples while we were setting up for our wedding to begin that evening. All the tours stopped & asked me questions about the venue; this took up my time and it was kinda awkward having strangers wander through. I had a delivery come from the bakery. Before they arrived I needed all the stands for the dessert table to be sanitized. I was told by the event coordinator on site the banquet captain would be in, and she would clean and set up the dessert table. This did not happen. My friend I hired handled the entire dessert table when she couldn't find the banquet captain, & eventually got the EC to help her. If I didn't have my own person, I don't know what would have happened. All of the white chairs in the reception/main ballroom were dirty. My team went around with Clorox wipes before the reception and cleaned all the chairs. Thank goodness. The wood floor needed to be cleaned, but there was nothing I could do by the time I realized the onsite crew was not going to clean the floors. When I did my initial walk through I was told the tables were not finished, but nothing other than water glasses wer ever added to the place settings. I understand there were certain aspects the bride didn't order from the venue, but it was still never touched up, expect by my own crew. I was able to bring in beer to be served by the bartenders for the picky drinkers, since the open bar does not include any specialty beer. I gave very detailed instruction on this beer. I was trying to save myself the headache of my mother asking me where the "good beer" was. Instead I wanted to surprise her when she asked for it, that we got it for her. This did not happen, & the first thing I heard after I took the family photos and entered cocktail hour, was "where is the good beer?" from my mother. Fail. I was so sad. I advance every detail to avoid moments like this. This brings me back to the playlist for cocktail hour. My son was very particular on the playlist and spent months curating each song to be played in a specific order and emailed it to the DJ after his phone conversation. When the playlist was not being played one of the people I hired came to me and said the DJ said he was told "DJ's choice of 90's grunge." This was 100% not the case. I told my husband, who was trying to do a million other things, the DJ said he does not have our playlist, and by the time they were able to interface it was time for the grand entrance. Again, a failure on something that was completely advanced. Next, the lighting set in the main ballroom was way to bright. I asked over and over to get it turned down. The room was supposed to be moody. Every table had several flame-less candles. We also provided uplighting around the room. I could never get the lights overhead turned down which killed the mood I was trying to set. The main thing potential couples need to keep in mind is the Event Coordinator leaves at dinner service. She said the banquet captain would take over but I never met this person. The DJ flew through our timeline, & I even missed the cake cutting. As the mother of the groom this was a huge bummer obviously. Hire your own DJ, hire your own EC and hire a team or have friends/family help coordinate. Consider you are renting a clean slate & build from there. The one big thing the onsite EC did was line up the procession for the rehearsal & the ceremony. She was pleasant, but I had to hunt her down when I needed things. The food was good. The bathrooms were nice. Guest seemed to have a good time.

We had an amazing experience with Colby Falls. They made me feel comfortable every step of the way and always answered all of my questions and responded to my texts throughout the process. Their contracted vendors took a lot of the stress out of planning and we are so glad we chose an included venue! The day of was beautifully decorated and the night went more smoothly than I could have imagined! They catered to us and made sure everything went the way we envisioned. I would highly recommend Colby Falls and any of the Wedgewood Wedding venues!

Had such a wonderful experience here- Mikayla was incredible. We enjoyed every meeting and she made sure our day went amazing. The whole team was awesome as well. Everything for our wedding was absolutely perfect and so organized. Would definitely recommend getting married here and we appreciate Mikayla and the team so much!

From beginning to end my family and I had such a great experience with Colby Falls. They had the answers to all our questions and made our wedding pretty much stress free. It's an all inclusive venue which was a deal maker for us! Their bridal/groomsmen suites were to die for and their food and bar services were exceptionable. Wedding day came and every thing was exactly as we envisioned. Some of our guests even went out of their way to tell us it was the best wedding they had been too. I will forever recommend this venue to future brides and grooms... Mikayla and Liberty were phenomenal wedding coordinators. 5 stars!

It looked like we spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on our wedding when we didnt at all! Our wedding was HUGE and Amanda was totally capable of handling our flower load! Let me break it down for you 35 Centerpieces...yes 35. NINE bridesmaid bouquets! NINE groomsmen botineers! ONE super amazing grooms boutineer! I mentioned to her that my husband loved suculants...and on his wedding day she found a itty bitty one inch big suculant and put it in his boutineer! ONE bridal bouquet that was simply breath taking! And dont even get me started on the flower arch for the gazino! It was dripping with flowers! LOVED Amanda! Loved her work! Loved her creativity! LOVE LOVE LOVE her!

The bride…read more(my daughter) and I met in person with her twice to design the two bouquets, reception centerpieces, 5 bouts, 3 wrist corsages, and the flower girl basket. My husband and son picked up the florals just before the ceremony at Amanda's home office, our order was so small and the ceremony was nearby, so it was better to pick up the flowers ourselves. The one and only error on the order was there were supposed to be ribbons around each centerpiece vase. But we easily tied some extra ribbon around each vase at the ceremony venue. The bride loved the bouquets, the centerpieces were lovely, we were very pleased with all the florals. Amanda added eucalyptus leaves as an accent to the vases and bouquets, all looked beautiful. They truly lasted and were used on Thursday at both the ceremony and reception venues, then again on Saturday at a second informal reception at the newlyweds' home. Amanda is very creative and is a total flower nut, and I say that as a compliment. My daughter wanted a very traditional "look" and was a tiny bit nervous about Amanda, since she features very unusual florals on her website. But Amanda "delivered" with fresh and beautiful flowers in the right colors, the bouquets sized exactly right, and charming accents. Butterfly Petals gets an A minus, only because the ribbons were not on the vases as specified in the order. I would have no hesitation in recommending Butterfly Petals.

However, I went months without a response from Katie to the point where I had to write an email explaining the contract should no longer be valid as she was not available and responsive to the extent her contract promised (I have all the communications saved for reference). After many unanswered emails and calls, Katie finally started communicating with me ~6 months before the event. Additionally, she advised me that she had created a new email address (which would have been great to know). Considering the stress a bride can be under, the gap in communication was not helpful and resulted in lots of tears and sleepless nights. I ended up finding my own invitation company (because the invitation designer I wanted was not contacted in time), found my own hotel room blocks, worked to coordinate transportation for the guests, found my own musicians (except the DJ as he was recommended by Katie and booked within a few weeks of signing with S&S), found my own caterer (dinner and desert), bartenders, and the officiant because of the lack of timely response from S&S. I also had to reach out to my other vendors (DJ and florist) on my own to confirm that they had the right information. Katie and Emily worked well coordinating the rehearsal and day of, and the decor was beautiful but for the $11,000 I paid them, I still had to do a significant amount of the planning and organizing on my own. If you are a bride/couple who likes to have progress reports regarding how certain elements are coming together and have an open line of communication in general, this may not be the event planning company for you. Considering a year has passed since my event, S&S's communication strategy may have improved but based on other reviews on this Yelp page, it seems I am/was not alone in my experience.

I love that woman! My husband and I were originally going to have a backyard wedding, but became very stressful so we decided to look into affordable venues that can accommodate 100 people with 2 months notice. With the packages offered by the antique wedding house, it made our planning so easy. The value is outstanding. We went with the Isabella package for 100 people and it was approx $7000 on a Monday. all inclusive. Dj, photographer, Photo Booth, catering, 3tier cake, dressing room's, event coordinator, everything! We absolutely made the right decision when choosing antique wedding house as the venue for our wedding. They took care of everything. EVERYTHING ! Michelle, the coordinator and lady in charge, was very kind, patient, and easy to work with. She answered every question, was very helpful in helping make decisions, and also allowed us to choose and customize what we wanted with no hesitation. For example, we purchased the Isabella package and it includes an officiant for the ceremony. My husband and I wanted my mother and his friend to officiate us together. No problem! All I can say is that This guy. The bartender, Ruben, was on point, friendly, and professional. Dennis and jessica with Goof Booth photo booths, were very very awesome and kind. The banquet captain, Eric, was super sweet and I really appreciate everything he did to make our night perfect. The cake... let me tell you that the cake is the absolute BEST wedding cake I have EVER had. And being in the industry, I've tried a lot of wedding cake. It was 3 tiered with 3 different flavors and icings. We did red velvet with cream cheese icing, strawberry with mango icing, and butter rum with butter cream icing. So freaking good!!!! And it was beautiful. All and all the antique wedding house has my 110% satisfaction. They offer an officiant but we went with our own.

The mid: They follow everything to the letter of the contract, this is both good and bad as if you didn't talk about it before hand they will not deviate. I appreciate this but it can also be frustrating. The Photo Booth is two hours and only two hours. We thought we were getting it from 6-8 but we only got it from 8-10 a problem for us because our picture book was incomplete due to guests having to leave, which was something I was sad to see. Thankfully the wedding coordinator had it opened 30 min sooner. (The major reason this review is 4 and not 3 stars )When I asked for a partial refund on it I was told the contract stipulated 2 hours. I withdrew my request for a refund because that's true, that is what the contract said but it doesn't establish good will. The bad: The bakery they go with is disgusting. It's too darn sweet and lacks any measurable flavour... besides sweet. They also took away the food and were gonna throw it away. I just stumbled in the kitchen and saw it and asked them to pack it up. All in all a good place. Just make sure if you have any specifics to get everything in writing just in case. And if you want to keep the food tell them!!

We met with Cassidy several times during the planning stages and she was always very professional and organized. She helped me feel at ease when the stress of planning a wedding had me at my worst. On the day of the wedding we had typical wedding day hiccups... the power went out in the entire town of Telluride up until 2 hours prior to the wedding, the DJ couldn't figure out how to get the iPod to work for the ceremony music (he needed to turn up the volume), and in typical bride fashion, I forgot our marriage license at the hotel!!!!, but Cassidy took control of the situation and was there to keep it all together.... I had a vision for what I wanted the florals to look like for my wedding. Before meeting with Julie, I met with at least 5 florists. I very clear in expressing my ideas. All of the florists took over two weeks send me the proposal. They quoted me by the flower--each flower costing a certain amount which always ended up being wayyyy over my budget. When they finally sent me the proposal it was nothing like I pictured. When I would ask them to revise it, they would either tell me what I was asking for couldn't be done or they wouldn't even respond to me. ALL of that changed when I met Julie. I contacted her and she responded almost immediately. She asked me to send her pictures of ideas I had. By the time of our first meeting she already understood my style and had even more suggestions for me that were beautiful! She had the proposal done the same day and worked within my budget. She doesn't stem count so I got more flowers than in any of the other proposals for much, much cheaper. She even custom made one of my centerpieces. She has such a fantastic eye and is so experienced that she made everything more beautiful then I even thought possible! But Julie is so much more than a florist! Even though she wasn't my wedding planner (I already had one by the time I met Julie) she treated me like I was one of her brides. She constantly checked on me. When I had an issue with anything for my wedding, she went out of her way to find a solution. She was with me every step of the way and she made me feel so special and truly made my wedding planning process stress free. She is the best! I am SO thankful I found Julie. I had the wedding of my dreams all thanks to her!
