My wedding flowers were seriously nothing but AMAZING! I had a budget and Amanda figured out how to get use of every penny of it! It looked like we spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on our wedding when we didnt at all! Our wedding was HUGE and Amanda was totally capable of handling our flower load! Let me break it down for you 35 Centerpieces...yes 35. NINE bridesmaid bouquets! NINE groomsmen botineers! ONE super amazing grooms boutineer! I mentioned to her that my husband loved suculants...and on his wedding day she found a itty bitty one inch big suculant and put it in his boutineer! ONE bridal bouquet that was simply breath taking! Amanda at Butterfly Petals is a true floral artist and her pricing is very affordable. The bride (my daughter) and I met in person with her twice to design the two bouquets, reception centerpieces, 5 bouts, 3 wrist corsages, and the flower girl basket. My husband and son picked up the florals just before the ceremony at Amanda's home office, our order was so small and the ceremony was nearby, so it was better to pick up the flowers ourselves. The one and only error on the order was there were supposed to be ribbons around each centerpiece vase. But we easily tied some extra ribbon around each vase at the ceremony venue. The bride loved the bouquets, the centerpieces were lovely, we were very pleased with all the florals. Amanda added eucalyptus leaves as an accent to the vases and bouquets, all looked beautiful. They truly lasted and were used on Thursday at both the ceremony and reception venues, then again on Saturday at a second informal reception at the newlyweds' home. Amanda is very creative and is a total flower nut, and I say that as a compliment. My daughter wanted a very traditional "look" and was a tiny bit nervous about Amanda, since she features very unusual florals on her website. But Amanda "delivered" with fresh and beautiful flowers in the right colors, the bouquets sized exactly right, and charming accents. Amanda at Butterfly Petals did the flowers for my wedding. I didnt want to spend a lot on them and shaved it down to only needing my bouquet, three boutonnieres and two corsages. I told her what I liked and didnt and my budget. She created a bunch of options for me based on my specifics so I had a number of choices. She also did all of this via email. which I give her total kudos for. On the day of my wedding, there was a fabulous bouquet waiting for me as well as perfect corsages and boutonnieres for my groom and our parents. I'm not a huge flower girl. I don't really even have a favorite flower. I also probably did not budget enough for wedding flowers because they just weren't that important to me. So when I contacted Butterfly Petals with all of this information, especially my budget for the amount of bouquets/bouts I needed, I thought they would say it couldn't be done. Fortunately, the exact opposite was true! Amanda was absolutely amazing to work with! She responded to all emails super quickly (usually within a few hours). She put together a proposal very quickly too, which was great since I kind of waited until the last minute for flowers. As far as the flowers themselves, I told her I liked succulents, gave her our wedding colors, and let her work her magic. I was thrilled with the results! My bouquets and bouts were unique, beautiful, and best of all, with in my budget! My groom didn't even want to wear a bout, and he ended up loving it. This review is over due as my meeting with Amanda was two years ago. My mom and I went in for an initial consultation for bouquets and boutonnières for my wedding. I had heard good things about Butterfly Petals and seen pictures of their gorgeous work online, and their office was located close by in Mesa, so I was pretty excited. When we sat down for our meeting and explained what were we're wanting, Amanda seemed very preoccupied and uninterested in our ideas or my wedding. Our time together that day was over very quickly, Amanda said she would be sending us a quote for what we were asking for, and then we never heard from her again. I can only imagine that outside circumstances were distracting her or perhaps my wedding and requests weren't a large enough order for the company to invest time in. We were a bit behind in the planning, but were relieved to hear Butterfly Petals, who was referred to us by a friend, was willing to help with our small, intimate wedding despite being booked with other large events on our date. Since we were planning from afar, all of our communication was done through email. Mandi was able to get an idea of our interests through asking questions about colors and preferences for flowers (even though we weren't very knowledgeable about what we wanted in the beginning). My wife and I were hesitant with booking a florist for our wedding. We thought we would be able to make our own arrangements but with only two months left until our wedding, we panicked and were referred by our venue (SoHo 63) to Butterfly Petals. We scheduled a meeting just to discuss options and our budget and Camille Goulding absolutely delighted us. She didn't even hear our budget but managed to read us so well and gave us what we wanted and so much more (all within in our budget.) Our centerpieces consisted of three stacked books, topped with a mason jar full of fresh cut lemons and floral. Although any florist could have simply added the flowers the day of, Butterfly Petals insisted we take all the materials to them prior to the meeting and said they would deliver the entire completed centerpieces the day of the wedding so we don't have to worry about them. WHAT A RELIEF AND HOW CONVIENENT IS THAT RIGHT? The last thing family or Brides want to do the day of their wedding is stress about centerpieces and Butterfly Petals eliminated so much stress for us. The day of the wedding, their décor was above and beyond. We knew what to expect (after our initial meeting) but they absolutely gave us so much more. Every detail with the ceremony space, the alter, the bouquets, our ceremony leis - were absolutely gorgeous! They captured our theme and our colors perfectly. First and foremost, I know nothing about flowers. I did meet with other florists, but they didn't seem to work with me as well as Amanda. When I met with Amanda I just showed her some pictures and explained what my style was and what I was looking for. She did an amazing job putting together the perfect bouquet for my wedding. The variations of pinks along with the gems was exactly what I was looking for. We only met once and she used her creativity to create a beautiful, inexpensive bouquet.
