Karen's Flowers is the best! Usually when I order flowers online, what gets delivered look nothing like the picture... in this case, the flowers exceeded what was shown on the website! They were perfect! We don't live in the Mesa area but wanted to find somewhere local to buy from. After some research (and going through multiple sites that made it appear they are local but in reality, are not), we came across Karen's and ordered a bouquet for my Mother in Law's 88th birthday. The customer service with the delivery was exceptional! Angela was amazing and communicated with us when my MIL wasn't home for the delivery. She accommodated the timing for delivery to make sure the flowers didn't just get dropped on her doorstep to die in the heat. We will use Karen's for all of our flower needs in the future! My boyfriend was visiting for the weekend, and he suggested since we were grocery shopping at Trader Joe's to check out this shop for some flowers. He knows how much they bring me joy and I love the scent of fresh flowers. We were greeted immediately upon entering, and loved the assortment they had to grab-and-go as he usually had ordered ahead from other places in the past. I picked a lovely assortment in a vase for only $25! The flowers are beautiful and have lasted three days so far looking vibrant as ever. Absolutely amazing customer service. I ordered flower delivery for my lady's birthday and they were going to deliver them to her work. She had to stay home with our sick 9 month old and 2.5 year old. Ordered a sympathy bouquet online this past Saturday for delivery locally, just a couple hours before the shop closed for the weekend. The first available date was this upcoming Monday, which was completely what I expected given my late ordering time. The shop texted me about 1/2 hour after the order and asked if I would like them delivered that day, to which I responded, sure that would be great! Maybe and hour later or so, the delivery person texted me to confirm the delivery was made, including some special notes regarding the circumstances at the house it was delivered to. I ordered some flowers for my mom from Karen's. I live in Oregon and my mom is in Mesa, AZ. I wanted to go with a local shop in her area and I'm so glad I did. You just don't get this level of service from the national chains. The delivery was difficult due to issues on our end, and Angela was wonderful. She called me and my mom and handled everything! I couldn't even help her as I was so busy at work but Angela took care of everything! And the flowers were beautiful and a very reasonable price. This arrangement including delivery was $65. I wanted a sympathy wreath to celebrate the life of my former grandmother-in-law. I searched online as I really wanted a heart shaped wreath to celebrate the life of this "amazing" 91-year-old woman. The service was early on a Saturday morning so I wasn't certain they'd be able to accommodate an early delivery so I called for details. The person who answered the phone was an absolute delight with excellent customer service skills. She confirmed that while they could not guarantee an early delivery that they would contact the funeral home to see if they could deliver the day before. Unfortunately, the funeral home did not have a cooler or staff to accommodate a Friday delivery, but Karen's Flowers did commit to having the wreath prepared by 9 AM on Saturday morning. My daughter (the great granddaughter) picked up the arrangement on the way to the service. They arrangement was even more beautiful than the pictures on the website! Though I ordered an arrangement three days in advance, Karen's stated they couldn't deliver the "day of" without an additional $10 charge (to cover an additional driver) since the funeral home didn't allow for deliveries the day before the funeral and Karen's doesn't open until 9AM and couldn't get it to the funeral home by 11AM, though in the same zip code. I like for them to add more baby breath to roses and the flowers are fresh and they last a longer time if you change out the vase water and snip a little bit off each stem of the flower arrangement and I add a baby aspirin in the water when I bring them home ! Customer Service was great, truly kind. I ordered a dozen pink roses for my moms 75th Birthday to be used on her cake. I ordered two weeks in advance. I picked up the roses today and I am very disappointed. The roses looked wilted and are very greenish yellow ALL OVER, not just a little bit. I don't know what types of roses are out there but I don't know anyone who would want roses that look wilted on a cake. I could have gone to the store and picked up wilted looking greenish yellow roses if that's what I had wanted. I'm sitting in front of the cake shop picking all the greenish yellow petals off and praying it will look decent, not beautiful like I had envisioned, but just decent. This is what a fail looks like.
