This is a better alternative to big box stores for its variety, availability, customization, and time sensitive requests. There's even a wide arrange of vases you can choose from, which is a better selection than you can get at the large grocery stores. I entrusted Watsons Flowers--and specifically Rachel--with a very special family heirloom to be wrapped around my daughter's wedding bouquet. The flowers themselves turned out beautifully. Unfortunately, the experience afterward was heartbreaking. When we arrived home and unwrapped the bouquet, I discovered that the 1930s pearl clasp had been torn off and the pearls were covered with floral tape. I reached out twice and was eventually told that the clasp had been found at the shop and that repairs would be looked into. That was on Sunday. I understood that repairs would take time, but after hearing nothing for several days, I followed up on Thursday simply to ask for the clasp back. Rachel was apologetic, and while I appreciate that, the level of communication and customer service did not meet what I would expect--especially after I shared how upsetting this situation was. A brief midweek update acknowledging the issue and explaining next steps would have gone a long way, but instead I had to initiate every follow-up. Rachel did offer to reimburse the cost of repairing the necklace, but the most difficult part is that I was never told what happened to the heirloom until I discovered the damage myself. That lack of transparency is deeply disappointing. If you are considering using Watsons Flowers and have a meaningful or irreplaceable item you want incorporated into your bouquet, I would strongly caution against it unless you are prepared for the possibility that it could be damaged. read more

This is how I found and selected the Watson Flower Shop! My parents celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this last October, and since I'm both sentimental and romantic, I thought it would be groovy to have their wedding flowers re-created. I had purchased a photo session with a local photographer, to take some commemorative photos to celebrate the event before their dinner. I figured the flowers would help delineate the event. (Versus just look like another set of family photos). I gave photos taken at my parents' wedding, in 1968 AD, to the designer at the Watson Flower Shop. They were terrific! They identified the flowers and gave me some options with regard to arrangements and pricing. I ordered a bridal bouquet for my mother, and matching corsages for the ladies attending the event. I also ordered boutonnieres for the men. Everything was perfect! As far as the pricing goes, I thought it was fair. When you do a special event - you just want the final product to be perfect! They delivered perfection! Furthermore, I shall recommend these fine craftspeople to all of my family and friends! I plan to use them while I live in the area! I render a solid 5 star review! Ordered flowers for relatives birthday. The policy they don't state, that is "not on their website" if you are not home, they leave the flowers with any random neighbor. The delivery person then calls you to tell you the address of whom they left the flowers and gifts with, even if you say no don't know those people. They do not care who they leave their delivery with, once they collect your money. It is a done deal for them. They got their money and they don't care. I would not recommend these people. One of the owners that I spoke to about their policy of leaving flowers with random neighbors, was named Jacob. Jacob apologized for raising his voice and was totally unapologetic it is all about the money and not about customer service. read more

Recently, I needed to order a very special bouquet on very short notice ... Like one week notice! I searched flower shops in Gilbert. I found one that is downtown. I went there, but the doors were locked up. So, I started my search again and found Watson's on Val Vista. I went there and showed the young lady there a picture of what I was looking for. She called the shop in Tempe and spoke with Diane, explaining what I needed and by when. I was told it would be possible! Yay!! So I drove over to the shop in Mesa to show Diane what I was looking for ( for my very special person) she was fantastic! Now, I said almost..yes, I did, the person I was ordering this for wanted dusty rose colored roses. Diane was very honest with me about the likelihood the roses maybe a bit more pink (keep in mind, this was very short notice) Than the picture I had, but she said she would get them as close as she could. I called Watson's and spoke to Jenelle about having flowers delivered in the early morning to a hospital for a celebration. She called me back that night (after checking with her delivery driver) and assured me that the arrangement would be delivered promptly @8:30am. I want to give a shout out to Watson Flowers for arranging a corsage and boutineer for homecoming for my son at the last minute. We originally ordered them from Forever Florist and when we went to pick it up the flowers were wilted, the color was completely wrong, and the arrangements of the corsage and boutineer were horrible. I immediately called Watson's and told them of our dilemma. Watson's informed us that they had arrangements already made and we could come in and see them. When we arrived, we realized none of the arrangements would match the outfits, so the florist Ashley was gracious enough to make the corsage and boutineer from scratch. Both items were completed in about 45 minutes and she did an AMAZING job. They were everything my son and I wanted and more. Thank you Ashley and Watson Flowers for all of your help.
