My check engine light came on and they ran a test (for free!!!) to find out it was because the had cap was loose. They reset the engine light and I was on my way. I also need a new muffler and both brothers did a thorough check to see what is needed. They checked my tires, exception from emissions (I drive under 5,000 miles a year), and so much more. Scheduled my muffler appointment for a couple of weeks from now because they're so busy. There's a reason for that!!! They're honest, more than fairly priced, knowledgeable, professional, and all-around incredible. So thankful to a coworker who referred me. I will never get my car serviced anywhere else. Never!

The positives were that they were able to get me in very quick and were, overall, friendly and professional. I do think they know what they are doing. The major negative was that the final price came out nearly twice the original quote: close to $600 instead of the original $320. This was, I was told, because an additional part had to be sourced and installed. While I was already disappointed in this unexpected cost doubling, the icing on the cake was that I wasn't asked if I wanted to proceed with the repair. I was just informed that the cost had jumped, that the repair was complete, and that I now needed to pay up. This suggested to me that the original assessment of the damage had not been as thorough as it could have been. While a quote is an estimate, not a certainty, it's not good practice for businesses that run on quotes to let customers pay twice what they were originally expecting. In this situation, for instance, I would have appreciated a discount on the unexpected new part. That might have eaten into their profit margin, but it would have guaranteed that I would become a return customer, whereas now, I am not so sure.

Without appointment, he asked one of his guys to drive my minivan with me sitting next to him. He didn't hear much noise after driving for 5-10 minutes. They charged me $80 to plug in their fancy machine just to verify my suspicions, which kinda sucked, and I think it could've been diagnosed without the fancy machine. When they gave me the estimate I asked if I could bring in my own parts in because their prices were steep, but they didn't allow it.. I think they were mad because I didn't want to get the work done and was trying to save money, but they ended up sabotaging my hood latch, disconnecting the release cable from the hood latch mechanism, making it impossible to pop the hood. I ended up having to remove the grill and the latch mechanism completely to solve it myself. I thank them for giving me the opportunity to learn more about cars, which I did, but I was thoroughly pissed they messed with my stuff and charged me out the butt. I don't recommend this place.

Dropped his car off and they call to say he needs new back brakes and rotors. My son being in college, decided he would put them on with his dad to save some money. When he picked up the car, he asked when he could bring it back to be re-inspected and the guy said he was booked for the next 3 weeks. In other words, because he wasn't making money, he would not re-do the inspection. Charged my son $50 for nothing, didn't even put an emission sticker on. The car is only 2 years old. I prefer going to a mechanic who doesn't want to take advantage of a college kid.
