They charge double than what's on the app and the menu. For a family bucket of 8 regular price states 20 but because I didn't order on the app they charge 41.07.

Once upon a time, $25.99 could feed a whole family at a fast food restaurant.

Well...I know this place has bad reviews but I still gotta show some aloha. I just went in today. Place was DEAD. I mean...it seemed like it wasn't even open yet, like it was going through the finishing renovations before the grand opening. Two workers were chilling in the seating area because they were so slow. Now was my customer service stellar? No, not really, but can you blame them? There's no customers for them to even practice on. I actually felt bad for THEM. They had a sign posted stating that they're going through staffing shortages so orders might take longer. I don't blame them. Regardless, they gave me my order in a timely fashion with a smile and sent me on my way. My only complaint is the price. $25.99 for 8-piece chicken tenders? KFC is blatantly committing robbery on the American public! See my pics.

Unfortunately, I have to go with the majority of the reviewers of a 2-star rating for the same reasons. I have not been to this location since 12/2022 & the overall reviewers rated it 2-stars then. Nothing has changed. I even tried checking other KFC locations on Oahu & they were also 2-star. What gives KFC? You guys make ono-tasting chicken but it seems customer service sucks. I visited this location on Saturday afternoon on 04/20/24 because I wanted to take advantage of the coupons to save some $$. Their prices have skyrocketed over the years & not affordable - $36 for an 8 piece or $70 for a 16 piece? Plus, you don't get much of a choice, meaning, if you don't want. wings, you're stuck. Especially if you order a 2-piece - can't get 2 thighs, or 2 breasts, it's 1 thigh & 1 leg or 1 breast & 1 wing. When I walked in there was no one ahead of me at the counter. As I perused the menu, a lady came over but I let her know I was still looking. She didn't even greet me & it happened to be the same person from the last time. She didn't smile, wasn't friendly, & had an attitude like she didn't want to be there but had to work. That day was no different except she actually cracked a smile when I said something funny - I guess that's some improvement?!? She's an older lady, local. The receipt had the name of Terry but because she wasn't wearing a name tag, I can't confirm it. I had coupons for 2-piece combo for $7.49, regular price $11.99 but it included a soda. Asked the lady if I could get bottled water instead since we don't drink soda & she said no, they didn't have any. So I went ahead & got the one without soda, which cost more but in hindsight, I should have just used the coupons, & refuse the soda, my bad. Food came up pretty quickly & a guy from the back brought. Dining room was empty but clean. Food was well-packaged. Ordered a chicken sandwich & it was ono! Hadn't had it in awhile & it was just as good then as before. It's pretty thick sandwich so I had to cut it in half. It has extra crispy chicken breast on a buttered brioche bun with pickles & mayo. The chicken was just right crispy & not dry but pretty tasty. Had the 2-piece combo for dinner which consisted of original recipe thigh & leg, mashed potatoes & gravy, & a biscuit, along with pkts of honey & butter. Chicken was flavorful & moist, biscuit was just as good, not hard & the mashed potatoes & gravy was just right for this combo. Overall, food was great but prices & the lady's customer service sucked. Maybe in another year or so all the KFC's will show improvement. It'll be awhile before I return.

I decided to go check out KFC since it's been awhile and it was on my way home. They are going to be open for new years. They just closing early. It was no line in the drive thru. I ordered and got my food quickly. I'm glad it didn't take all day since they hiring and had a sign for being short staffed. The food was alright and definitely expensive. For $52 I could made my own meal. They definitely changed the recipe.

Tried the chicken nuggets I've been hearing a lot about. Was ok, but some pieces was super small compared to other pieces. $15 dollars gets a dozen nuggs, small fries a biscuit and a drink! Saw the price on the app for a piece tenders and I was blown away $25.99 whoa

    Menu. As of January 2025.

Drive Thru here make it a quick pick up dinner option. Prices were high. Almost $80 for a 16 piece meal. I opted for 8 pieces & a drink and my bill was about $60. They didn't have extra crispy chicken available, quoted me a 20 minute wait so I stuck with the original. Overall it was an okay experience. I'll be returning....maybe not within the next few months because of the price but the chicken was just as I remembered. Tasty.

The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and air conditioned, which makes it easy to sit down and enjoy your meal. The staff is efficient and gets the job done, although they come across a little like young efficient robots--polite enough, but not much personality or warmth. My only real issue is the price. It is hard for me to justify spending $17+ for a plate with just a few pieces of boneless chicken and some sides. If the prices were a little more reasonable, or the portions included a bit more chicken, I could justify a 5-star rating. For now, it is a solid 4 stars based on the cost-to-value ratio. The food is good enough that I would still come back once in a while.

Looking at the menu on the picture window...I had to wonder is Uncle: Korean...African-American...Deep South gentleman? Well, I think he's Taiwanese. Menu revolves around chicken. They have plates, sandwiches, and slushies. I got the Taro Hokkaido Slushie for takeout. It was okay...I can't tell you what it tastes like...other than that it was sweet. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was unassuming. It was slightly spiced...a bit different than I am used to and it had a bit of a kick. I would not order anything spicy from their menu. Piece of battered chicken breast that was both juicy and flavorful. A real surprise. Service was just under 15 minutes...I walked in and ordered takeout. There was one order ahead of me. They actually cut in half 5 pieces of the Chicken Backs and each 1/2 counted as a piece of overcooked chicken jerky! I also got a 1/3 of a breast section with bones and not even a 1/2 of a thigh. That totals my 10 pieces. More bones and excess crispy flour then consumable meat. NOBODY gives a Chicken back (or 1/2 a back)! Not Popeyes, not KFC or Zippy's who will remain my Favorite because I will only get ripped off the 1st time, never again. Additionally, they make you buy the sauce, the reason is due to no seasoning on the over floured bread...but it IS Crispy! The Chicken tenders were overcooked and REALLY Chewy around the edges. Just a LOT of breaded Crispy with no flavor, what "Chef" doesn't even use salt? Really, if you're going to risk testing this food, PAY for some sauce! I hope the Owner reads this and realizes that ripping people off by selling broken pieces that most Chef's throw away because they have so little meat on them, isn't going to keep him in business. The profit margin may be up while folks are trying it, spending their hard earn $$$'s, yet not coming back will be the ultimate demise of this business as many other have come and gone doing the exact same thing, not putting themselves in he patron's position. Be sure to call ahead, it usually takes ~30 min per order if you call. Takeout only. Service is very polite. Parking is tough because of the area but there are a few spots out front, would generally recommend calling ahead so parking is less stressful. Their menu was a little confusing to me so here is some explanation: K pop chicken- boneless chicken pieces K chicken wings- flats and drumettes (the two parts of a larger chicken wing) K chicken tenders- boneless tenders only K crispy chicken- full wings, thighs, and breast pieces They offer each of these items as a plate lunch too, with a smaller portion of chicken that comes with rice and salad. I personally like the K chicken wings for the variety and higher meat to skin ratio but my husband really likes the K chicken wings. The skin is shatteringly crispy and flavorful and the meat is juicy. Their honey shoyu sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and salty. You can also request the sauce on the side. I've also had the fried rice which was decent and generously portioned. We once had a complimentary house salad given to us which was unexpected kindness. Overall they do a great job serving up a delicious craveable food that keeps us coming back!

It's been a few years since I've gone to a Jolly Bee and I had imagined the spaghetti to only be sweet and savory. It was actually pretty good! (Not in an Italian way though. It was a little spicy, which I loved! I wasn't expecting it to be spicy so it was a very pleasant surprise! It was a tad sweet...just the right amount! (There isn't a 3-piece combo on the menu, but the server was kind enough to accommodate my request for an extra piece of chicken.) It came with a container of gravy that made me wonder what it was for, immediately. Then I remembered all the commercials and YouTube videos where food reviewers either slathered their chicken with the gravy or they dunked it into the gravy. I was so hungry that I forgot for a few seconds that the gravy was for the chicken, thus I drank most of the gravy!! The dining area is constantly cleaned and draws a diverse crowd. I arrived around 5:40 PM, but getting into the parking lot took longer than expected because of the very long drive-thru line and limited parking. Once inside, I waited about 5 minutes at the counter before anyone acknowledged me. I was the only customer waiting inside. I even stood near the online pickup area for a while, hoping someone would ask if I needed help, but several employees walked by without acknowledging me. Two cashiers looked in my direction multiple times but continued their conversation instead of checking whether I was waiting for an order. I finally interrupted to let them know I was there for an online pickup and gave them my name. Unfortunately, there seemed to be confusion about my order. One employee pointed to another, who then pointed back to the first employee while continuing to prepare food. No one was able to tell me whether my order was ready. Thankfully, an employee wearing a different colored shirt (a manager I'm assuming) noticed I hadn't been helped. She immediately apologized, asked for my name, checked on my order, and informed the kitchen that more chicken needed to be prepared. Shortly after, another manager also stepped in, apologized, and helped get everything together. I finally left with my order at 6:09 PM, nearly 40 minutes after my scheduled pickup time. The food was fresh, delicious, and the restaurant itself was clean, which is why I'm giving 5 stars for the food and cleanliness. However, this isn't the first time I've had to wait an unusually long time just to be acknowledged for an online pickup. In the past, my food has at least been ready once someone finally helped me. This visit was different because not only was I ignored, but my order also wasn't ready. I understand that restaurants are fast-paced environments and that unexpected staffing shortages can happen if someone calls out sick. However, there appeared to be plenty of staff working during my visit. My concern wasn't the number of employees--it was the lack of communication, urgency, and teamwork. I believe additional customer service and workflow training could help employees become more productive and ensure that customers, especially those picking up online orders, are acknowledged promptly. A simple greeting such as, "We'll be right with you," or "Let me check on your order," would have made a significant difference. Good communication goes a long way and leaves customers feeling valued, even during busy times.

I was surprised to see the place pretty empty on a Friday night around 7. I went to the bar to order take out and the guy working was really nice and took my takeout order. I will say it smelled amazing in the restaurant. Food took about 10 mins to come out. The catfish was great, two pretty big pieces very well seasoned. The Mac and Cheese and Yams was also pretty good. I will say the Mac tasted better than it looked and I only say that because at first glance it didn't seem to have much cheese but I was wrong. The corn bread tasted good but was dry. I warmed it and added some butter and that didn't trick. The only thing I personally wasn't a fan of was the greens. They weren't necessarily bad but like Keith Lee says I don't know if I'm their target audience. They tasted a bit sweet and there was something else in the seasoning that I wasn't a huge fan of but couldn't quite put my finger on. I almost forgot the plate came with "yellow seasoned rice" which is under the fish on the Mac side. Honestly it's a free inclusion so not super fair to judge it. Everything in the picture was about $47 bucks. In my opinion that's a bit high and I'm guessing that's because it's in Waikīkī. I definitely plan to go back especially to try the Happy Hour, and I'd like to dine in to see how that goes.
