We ordered 18 pieces of honey cheddar. The snow chicken looked good too. We also ordered some mild rice cakes. We waited 20 minutes by going shopping next door at the Korean market. Couldn't be more pleased. Chicken was piping hot. Rice cakes were fried and then dipped in mild sauce. Never had it that way but it was very good!

I got 3 of the most popular ones.

Service is good, the place is small just remember that they cook as you order. I placed my order and was told 20 minutes then found out my grandson and his friend was at the house so I ordered more food and that's another 20 min. Their chicken was good.

My experience here is always really good. The food is amazing and I always get the honey butter chicken. The kimchi fried rice and the bottom chicken is not from here but from a Korean restaurant in H-mart. Make sure to phone order if you don't want to wait!

Spicy "bone in" chicken with mini mandoo

Food - chicken was yummy, just the perfect amount of spice. Corn was meh, tasted like it list came out of a can. The mini mandoo was good. It would have been better with a dipping sauce but it didn't come with any. Is it just me that love mandoo with dipping sauce? Well, I thought it was a mistake so I went up to the counter. The lady said it doesn't come with sauce and if I wanted sauce it'll be $1. Wait , what?! No, thank you. The cost of 2 plates plus tip came up to almost $30 and not even a small container of dipping sauce? -1 star Service- the lady at the counter wasn't too friendly. She just got off the phone taking an order. Maybe she was tired? An after thought for me, "I should have just ordered at the kiosk" to avoid the unfriendliness. When I went up to ask for the dipping sauce, there was no one at the front and there were a few people waiting. I could see the lady and another younger lady behind the curtain. No acknowledgment, no "we will be right with you", no "thank you for your patience" -1 star Ambiance- when you walk in from their "main door", it's literally an area for you to stand in line (if there was a line). The tables and chairs are shared in a common area with other food venues. This is all inside the Asian market. There's the Mexican place, which I want to try next time and there's also a Korean place. There were maybe 6 tables with 4 chairs each. There was a counter with 4 chairs. It was a bit warm sitting there, you can't feel the AC much. Out of their control so keeping the stars at 3. Would I come here again? Maybe. If I did, I'd come for only the chicken. $12.99 for a chicken plate with 4 bone in chicken pieces, rice, bland corn, and two mini mandoo without dipping sauce OR $17.99 for 10 pcs of chicken.

I went today to pick up half order of their Honey butter wings. I prefer their dry rubs and this one was so good! Truly hits the spot! It's mix between savory and a bit sweet! I also ordered regular fries to go too. Fries were ok but the wings were delicious!

    Wow. So good.

Wow. Really great wings. Super great service. Located in HMart food court. Lots of tables. Clean.

    NEW PRICING as of 3/20/25

Wings are always perfect. Our favorite is SNOW and GARLIC. Always call ahead because it can take 20+ minutes. Prices increased recently, so it's definitely just a splurge now.

    This is what I ordered.

SLOW SERVICE!!! I placed my order at just after 5 pm. I showed up at 5:30 to pick up and I was told would be another 10 min. I could see in the back a huge pile of wings that needed only to be seasoned so I was surprised I needed to wait. Oh well no worries. 20 min later my order was still not ready. I live 5 min away so once I did receive my order I was shocked that my wings were cold. This was my second time having them. First time was amazing. I'll give them another try but at the prices they charge, I shouldn't have had cold wings.

Good food, long wait but fast service. Vons has always been super solid no matter the location.

I have found my new favorite place for wings! This place imo has wing stop beat hands down! We stopped by tonight Wednesday, 3/9/2022 around 6:30 or so. There was no line and the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I told him it was my 1st time there and he made a suggestion of their most popular item the #2 crispy shoyu wings. Sold!! I also wanted to try some other menu items so I ordered the regular mini mandoo, #6 crispy honey butter wings, regular fries, and radish. I was going to order a boneless chicken plate as well but was told that they were out of rice and boneless chicken, oh well maybe next time. Everything came out hot and fresh in about 20 minutes. The takeout container for the fries isn't ideal as there is no cover, it's simply a paper boat with aluminum foil inside and the fries on top. Honestly after tasting the fries I didn't ever care, needless to say they never made it home, lol. My husband and I devoured them all in a matter of minutes! They were so crispy and hot that when we were done I regretted not ordering 2. The chicken was amazing! I enjoyed both flavors but prefer the shoyu. The chicken is as the name states crispy and the inside is tender and juicy. The mini mandoo were also delicious and a great deal. I would definitely come back to try other flavors and get more fries but I just found out that they opened a location in Mililani Town Center, which is so much closer to home, so I might be writing my review for that location next hehehe.

Just a…read moreheads-up it's right smack dab in the middle of the Dillingham rail construction chaos, so getting there might feel like an adventure. And to make things even trickier, there are no left turns on Dillingham, so plan your route accordingly. But once you do make it there, you'll find it tucked inside Bliss Lounge & Bar, which is actually a plus. What pairs better with crispy, fried chicken than an ice-cold beer or cocktail? Plus, the space is cozy and great for hanging out with friends. Since it's inside Bliss lounge and bar, there's no table service, so you'll need to scan a QR code to order or better yet, save yourself the hassle and order ahead here: https://www.clover.com/online-ordering/soul-chicken-honolulu I've always been quoted 20 minutes for orders, but in my experiences, it's always ready sooner. If you're grabbing takeout, ordering ahead online is the way to go so you're not stuck waiting. And this chicken? Crispy, light, not greasy, and not weighed down by batter, exactly how it should be. My go to flavors are Honey Garlic and Yang Nyeom (spicy) and if you're taking it home, I highly recommend getting the sauce on the side to avoid any soggy disappointments. My only complaint are that some of these chickens look like they barely made it past chickhood because a few of the pieces are really small. I'm talking bite sized in a way that makes you wonder if they ran out of full-grown birds. But hey, what they lack in size, they definitely make up for in flavor. If you can navigate the construction mess (and the no-left-turn nightmare on Dillingham), Soul Chicken is a solid spot for some seriously good Korean fried chicken just maybe don't expect every wing to be a heavyweight or order more half dozens.

I think the cake noodle was prepared the best that I've had because it was not oily but crispy on the outside tender noodle on the inside made fresh and the texture was better than others. Super disappointed with the crazy service tonight…read more I placed an order outside using the kiosk for just a chicken katsu special at 5:52 PM since it was crowded inside and ended up waiting 45 minutes for that one plate. It wasn't just the waiting, it was the service and lack of communication that pushed it over. After placing my order, I entered the restaurant and waited on the side since there wasn't a place to sit and wait. The worker who was stationed at the front soon came back and asked "How can I help you?" and I mentioned that I ordered on the kiosk outside and she walked away without saying anything. Around 10 minutes in I noticed the worker mentioning to every person in line only after they tried to order that the wait would be 30 minutes for anything on the grill since they had a big order. The questions that came to mind every time a person attempted to order was "why wouldn't she tell them that they would have to wait 30 minutes from the beginning before they even tried to order so they could reevaluate if their orders needed the grill?" And "what items are not on the grill?" Every person in line would get frustrated as she wouldn't even show what items didn't need the grill.. They would say "Okay I want to order this instead" and she would keep saying "that's on the grill so you have to wait 30 minutes." Like they were supposed to know.. Who wouldn't get frustrated? Time went on and I found myself still waiting at 6:30 PM. When i heard her mentioning the chicken katsu wouldn't take long since it's not on the grill. No update, just me sitting on those high chairs obviously waiting for my order. It's worse because you don't get a buzzer for using the kiosk. I decided to ask about my order but still had to wait in line to talk to that same worker. When it was eventually my turn, I said "I wanted to check on my order" and showed her a picture of the kiosk with the order number because the kiosk didn't print a receipt for me and rudely responded with "Your order's already ready" and just handed it to me.. Excuse me? No one even bothered to tell me it was ready and she spoke to me like I was supposed to know it was ready. How long was it ready that I was wasting my time waiting there? Also, please fix the option on the kiosk when you select the chicken katsu; it should have the option or be defaulted with "White rice & mac salad" like your app. The kiosk is misleading and doesn't say you don't need to select "all rice" or the other up-charge options. So when she gave it to me and she said all rice I explained to her that I thought it was making me choose an option and she got defensive and said "No it doesn't." She eventually took it to the back to put mac salad then returned and rudely told me "Next time just don't select an option." Wow. It was not my fault that no one called me to tell me my order was ready. It was not my fault there was a flood of orders during dinner time. I like Oh My Grill but please do better with the customer service, especially with the person who's in charge at the front. I understand that it gets overwhelming when it's busy but the communication and customer service was just the worst. No one deserves to be treated like that especially when we come often. This was such a horrible experience.. Maybe won't come back for a while.

Ordered by phone the day prior, and just gave them my phone number as usual (it's how they identify you when you pick up, with no worries about duplicate or misspelled names.). Every time I've ordered in advance, our order has always been packed neatly and ready in a box for takeout. (My brother had brought a box just in case, and smoothly offered it to their staff for someone else's future order.) The restaurant has several tables for dining in, and markings on the floor for those waiting in line. It's brightly lit and clean as well. I appreciate their staff, food, service, and generous servings. They make us look so good with our potluck contributions! So what did we order? Half chicken katsu, half chicken wings, a small platter ($45 for the small pan, but picture a much loaded tray) - it's a great value deal! It was the same order our cousins loved when we brought it on Christmas Day (they especially love the wings, but we love the katsu-so this year we asked for half-half instead of all katsu, and they were so happy, ha ha!) Oh, and they give you a nice big container of yummy katsu sauce;)! I like their panko and cooking method, as whatever they do, the chicken is nice and crisp, and tasty - with, or without the sauce, actually. First time that I actually tried the wings, as I'm not a wing person. (I didn't even try it at Christmas, lol.). But, it was nice and crisp, lightly seasoned, and the wings had lots of meat on them. Easy finger food, and they were not dripping in oil, either, which I appreciated! Also ordered (for the first time) a small platter of chicken chow mein (a little over $30?). It was based on a good recommendation by an admittedly biased family member of the owners, and we were pleasantly surprised! The small pan was covered in wrap and then foil, because the mound of noodles was seriously kinda big! My brother was like, quick, go tell mom to come look before we open it (as she's picky, so it's hard to impress her). It was filled with lots of veggies (sliced carrots, cabbage, onions, etc) and bbq chicken pieces, tossed with great flavor (I want to say it was a nice sauce, but this wasn't a wet noodle dish.). My dad added Chinese mustard soy sauce, but my mom and I thought it was perfect the way it was. Oh, don't laugh, we're only a family of four, so yes, we ate two meals - lunch and dinner - and still packed a ton of leftovers! As we watched the game, we commented to each other what great choices we had made. (We also had sushi trays and other treats, and of course, chips, and my brother's dip. My brother said we may not have had a favorite team to cheer on today, but it was a great excuse for a party, ha ha!) I know we're doing a repeat for our next occasion, for sure! We'll gradually try some of their other foods, and it's farther away than we'd like to drive (I know, it's not that far, but we live on the other side, ok?). My brother agrees it's worth the drive - it's across Aloha Stadium and literally in the same spot as Ice Palace; and we saw quite the line at the Taco Bell drive through when we were looking for parking;). He also compared it to the cost and serving size of what we ordered on New Year's, from a restaurant much closer to where we live. Hands down, it was not even a close comparison, his emphasis added. So go here, it's perfect for family dinners and potlucks and I hope you agree with my assessment;)! Oops, I didn't take any pictures, aiya!!!
