Came here for brunch and it was very packed so maybe that had something to do with it but I thought it was okay. I got the Moms breakfast and the eggs were so greasy , had pockets of grease while eating, the hash-browns were good and crispy , the toast was yummy and the bacon was super crispy which is exactly how I like it, I also got chocolate chip pancakes which were just OK I think I could make better ones at home. I also tried the banana chocolate chip muffin and it was amazing highly recommend that. Overall the service was good just very packed inside.

Keys Bite was pretty much exactly what you want in a good breakfast spot. The service was friendly and was very accommodating to requests on the menu. I asked for replacements to side dishes and it was no issue. The omelette was huge and delicious. The chorizo was great and they were very generous with all the toppings. The island style french toast was fantastic, chosen due to other reviews and it did not disappoint. Would definitely come back again.

We always stop somewhere new on our way out of the Keys. We are so glad we found Keys Bite. They have nice variety on their menu, with huge emphasis on Mexican. I did opt for a hamburger with onion rings. The burger was delicious and very juicy. The onion rings were good, but would be better with a nice dipping sauce. Wade ordered the steak enchiladas. 3 nicely filled tortillas With green sauce. Beans and rice also came with the meal. We ordered chips and pico; the pico was phenomenal. Fresh, with crispy home made chips. The service was good. They have a nice outside patio area. Hope to get back here soon.

This place flies under the radar in the crowded Key Largo restaurant landscape. But rest assured it is a top family oriented value restaurant. The food is fresh and the portions are abundant. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. Try any of the specials of the day. Probably the best Cuban sandwich I have had south of Miami. Great taco salad with a nice presentation. Great soups such as the chili. The churrasco is very good and fresh daily seafood options.

This place is a must visit. The food was out of this world. Everything we selected was great; steak tips, taco salad, shrimp and scallops and yes that liver and onions brought back memories. And so far for our vacation week, 4 days in the key lime pies is the best. Atmosphere and service was great.

Came here with a large group the morning after a wedding and they fit us right in! The coffee is the best, classic diner coffee and the staff was kind and efficient. I wish I asked for my hash browns well done, but the breakfast sandwich was great!

Great place for breakfast. Nice covered outside seating area and dog friendly. Service was wonderful. We were only in key largo for the weekend and we need a place that was dog friendly. Didn't take long to get a seat or place an order. Another wonderful restaurant we would come back to.

If you don't enjoy this place.....you're the problem, not this establishment. This place is straight fire Id recommend the tacos, chicken Philly, and the chicken sandwich.

Craving some seafood this warm & humid night, so we stopped by Keys Bite since it was nearby and affordable. Service was really friendly throughout - we were seated promptly and put in our orders in no time. I got the Seafood Combo & New England Clam Chowder (their soup of the day). Chowder? OUT OF THIS WORLD. Creamy, plentiful bits of clam, I was audibly going MMMM with each bite. This is the kinda opener I'm talking about. Seafood platter? Eh, less impactful. The shrimp and oysters were rather flavorless - luckily they have salt & pepper on the table. The mahi though was light and delicious, and the sides were a great complement. Decent for the price point. A nice stop by - would recommend as a seafood option that leans on the more affordable side. And the people running this little spot are great! PROS: - convenient location, easy to park - very friendly service - seating is easy - chowder was AMAZING CONS: - some of the food leans a little bland

Keys Bite was a little dark inside with the atmosphere of a diner. The Mexican food was quite tasty although I had large chunks of slightly undercooked carrots in my veggie burrito, which was a little odd. My nephew's fried chicken came out frozen in the middle. The server was apologetic and brought out another one. We were overcharged for one entree we didn't order, so make sure you look at your check carefully. The server quickly apologized for this as well and came back with a corrected check. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, but I don't regret trying it.

This was the best meal since we came to Florida. When we entered we felt welcomed. I had the best breakfast with eggs bacon hash browns and English muffin. The coffee was the best, just like at home. Omelette was ham & cheese was fantastic. Service and staff were so kind and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

This is one of our favorites in Key Largo. They have different varieties of food and everything that I have tried has been delicious. You would think the food wouldn't be so good because they have so many different options. They make a mean hibachi and the portions are huge! I always have leftovers and it tastes just as good the next day. There has not been anything here that I have tried and didn't like. We just had breakfast here this weekend and I must say that I had some of the best pancakes ever. I ordered the two of a kind breakfast, it comes with 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. I added chocolate chips to mine and a side of hash browns. The pancakes were delicious and fluffy and I ate my entire plate of food. My nephews ordered the French toast and wow it smelled and tasted amazing! My mom had a breakfast burrito that was huge and she ate the whole thing. Decent little lunch stop, with reasonable prices in Key Largo. The menu is crazy large and I mean like, it takes half an hour to pick something. It's in an old fast food restaurant building. Decor isn't much to speak of, but seems to be a hit with the locals. read more

In the keys, restaurants often promote themselves as the "place where the locals eat." Keysbites doesn't promote it but it definitely is where the locals eat, and with good reason. We stumbled on this place since it shares a parking lot with Mrs. Mac's. We noticed as we pulled in that Keysbites had about 20 cars in their lot and Mrs. Mac's maybe 5 or 6 cars. So we took a chance and had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, and I've eaten many (as well as owning breakfast restaurants for several years). The skillets are beyond excellent, and portions generous to say the least. Back to the locals, it seemed to me that at least 80% of the customers were locals, and seemed to be regulars. Service is typical diner, don't expect a lot of enthusiasm but it was okay. But all in all, a great place to go. read more

What a terrific little family run Restaurant! We were next door at Mrs Macs looking at a 30 min wait, walked across the parking lot to see is they would do our hook and cook. Party of 7 and 4 wanted the hook and cook. They said no problem. Cooked up 5 lbs of fish 4 ways! Served it up family style with two sides. Can't say enough good things about this place. The other three in our party ordered off the menu and gave everything high marks! Don't leave Key Largo without checking this place out. Lots of locals eating in the place while we were there. And the service was great! read more

On 3/22/21 we stopped for lunch. My wife ordered the Cuban sandwich and I ordered the seafood burrito. The waiter was kind and personable in the beginning. After our food was served, we never saw him again. No drink refills or check on how we were doing. We waited about 10 more minutes after finishing our meals before I got up to search for him and request our bill. After asking for it, we waited another 10 minutes before I got up to tell him we need to leave. I had to go to the front counter to get and pay my Bill. Terrible service. About 5 minutes after leaving, I was running to the bathroom to get sick. It ruined our vacation plans for the evening and into the next day. read more

Tried this based off Yelp reviews and the fact that it is open later in comparison to other places on a Sunday evening. The calamari was bland, but the portion size was good. My kids got fish tenders and cheeseburger, plenty of food and the fries were awesome! I got mahi tacos, which had a great pico de gallo on top. My husband got the island burrito, no tomatoes or sauce. He asked for the taco sauce I had on the side and he cut up the burrito and mixed it with my side of rice - it was so good! Everything was great and the service was good. Eating at places that offer so much are usually a gamble.. the prices and dishes we ordered were well worth a stop! read more

Wait at mrs max's was too long so went here by accident and so glad we did! Authentic Mexican. Chips and salsa were made there and warm....salsa was chopped and tasty! Stopped here for lunch and were really pleased. I had the Tuna Melt with onion rings. Excellent rings....when you bite into them they don't pull thru and nice crunch. Tuna was oozing out and could only eat half of sandwich. My husband had the fried Mahi basket. Very fresh and tasty fish fingers. Lots of cars in lot but not real busy. Seat yourself....and the best: they are fast. Our meal came in 5-10 minutes. Will definitely stop here again while in the Keys. read more

After a few disappointing places this one was so average it was above par. Lol, seriously though, it was one of the best breakfasts we had and still wasn't great. When I say over medium - well for my eggs and I get eggs that have the whites not cooked all the way, I really want to throw the eggs back at the chef. I used to be a breakfast cook, so I know I'm tougher than most but it's not that hard to learn the egg temps, get a system down and get them right every time. I sent them back. My new eggs' whites were cooked but yolk totally runny. *sigh* My french toast was cold. My mom loved her pancakes and her bacon was good. Coffee was good. Service was good. Atmosphere and location... meh. ***update I have gone here for lunch and dinner a few times and have been pleased each time. There is quite a bit of selection! Daily specials, burritos, burgers, salads, geasey fried food baskets. Something for everyone! read more

This is our FAVORITE place to eat in the keys so far. We have come down here 3 separate times now and have to eat at Keys Bite at least once. They have fabulous dinner and breakfast. We drive from Islamorada up to keys bite, but we would drive from anywhere in the keys to eat here. It is very fairly priced compared to a lot of the other places in Islamorada. We have tried fajitas, grilled chicken sandwiches, mahi sandwiches, breakfast skillets, pancakes, and more and it's all so great!! The servers are all so kind and attentive. 10/10 we will be back Keys Bite read more

We had key lime pie with meringue for desert which was also fabulous. Overall it lived up to the hype. Five stars

It included ham, turkey, bacon, tomato, lettuce, cheese with an unknown sauce. It was good but the ham should've been sliced thinner rather than big chunks of ham. The fries were seasoned well. The conch tacos were good. The conch was fried and mixed with picol and red cabbage in a soft tortilla shell. The dish was accompanied by tortilla chips. All was tasty. The staff was knowledgeable. The prices were reasonable.

Try your best to avoid this restaurant. It is across from a famous restaurant in (Key Largo). We arrive early for breakfast around 7:05am on a Sunday. We were seated quickly. Things went downhill. The coffee was lukewarm, my French Toast had no flavor just an egg taste. I asked for scrambled eggs but it was fried with no seasoning. The waitress was well not friendly. Save your money and go to Denny's or grab a coffee and donut from another place. Finally, the restaurant allowed a woman to smoke in the outdoor patio while we were eating. It's a Little place - But they ABSOLUTELY have the Very Best Food in the Keys. Amazing place - NOT just Mexican / They also have Hibachi ( Amazing ) / They have Italian, Sandwiches, Burgers, wings you name it. We got dinner to-go from here while staying in Key Largo. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. The portion sizes were large and made for at least 2 meals. I had the chicken taco salad. It was awesome. The chicken was a grilled whole chicken breast cut into strips over the top of the salad. Everyone got more than enough to eat and were satisfied with their food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the area. read more

What a joke. I ordered the blackened scallops platter! The amount of scallops I received was about the size of one or 2 french fries. They were gross and very fishy flavored. Scallops should not be fishy! I ordered it with fries and a salad. The fries were awful. The salad was very nice! read more
