We went to the. Kee. Grill. With one of. The longest friend in the world. He gave me a $50 gift certificate for my 90th birthday We arrived at 5:45 in time for all the early birds filling up the house. However, about 15 minutes later, a table opened up, and we were able to get one for the four of us. The waiter was very polite and knowledgeable about the food and the beverage I had a dark beer although not a draft beer the rest of the person had red wine for the main course I had a snapper special and my wife had the grilled fish my friend and his wife share a salad he had the pork chops with the sides of potatoes and a vegetable his wife had a salad and a meat dish the food was stunning and I ate the entire meal why came with a djshof mushroom and a little bit of spinach soufley the an

I can't believe this place has been here for over 25 years and this was my first visit. They have an attractive open kitchen in the back and the restaurant is decorated with giant fish on the walls and bamboo trim, giving off a 'tropical elegant" atmosphere. We had a reservation (the only choices midweek were 5:45 or 7:45). At 5:45pm the place was packed, mostly with groups of 4 or larger. Despite having a reservation, we were initially shown to a table in the back next to the kitchen (a noisy area near a swinging door). Upon request they moved us several tables in to a quiet booth with a good view of the entire restaurant. The waiters do most of the bussing, yet our server was attentive. He started off by asking us if we wanted garlic bread! Always a good idea. Their bread is soft white bread and the garlic bread is lightly seasoned. I liked the bread plain with butter best. Both are available. My tablemates started with the tomato, onion, blue cheese salad. The presentation was a little strange (see photo). They offer the salads in full-size portions or halves. For our entrees we had cioppino, tuna, and the weekly special: parmesan crusted snapper. As the spinach side was highly recommended we ordered that as well. If you liked creamed spinach, order this. All the portions were ample. We all enjoyed our meals and I'm adding this to our list of restaurants we'll be returning to.

I wasn't expecting such a great find! My mother-in-law chose Kee Grill for her birthday, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable spot. The outside doesn't give much away, but inside, the space is open and inviting. The menu was pretty extensive, which made deciding difficult, but they also offered a prix fixe menu that helped us try different dishes. I started with the calamari and the snapper in lemon butter, with sides of rice and vegetables--both were fresh and flavorful. My partner had the Caesar salad with shrimp scampi, along with spinach and mashed potatoes. Mom went for the shrimp and salmon, and my sister-in-law chose the shrimp and swordfish, served with sweet potatoes and spinach. For dessert, we all got something. I tried a key lime cheesecake for the first time, which was good, but the blueberry crumble with ice cream was definitely the highlight--warm, sweet, and satisfying. I was pretty full after that. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was really good overall. Kee Grill is definitely a place I'd recommend and would happily return to.

Came here for dinner on a rainy Monday night. Literally only 3 tables were occupied. Service was very good and a country club ambiance. Ordered the set menu. Ceaser salad, swordfish and apple crisp. Also got the seafood cioppino, grilled shrimp and another swordfish dish. All the food was excellent. Generous portions. Kee grill always delivers good food and service.

Because of all the recent recommendations from my friends, we had a 5:45 pm reservation here this past Friday night. We were lucky to get a parking spot right up close in the parking lot. It wasn't quite busy yet at that time. We were greeted graciously and taken to a lovely table close to the open kitchen. The atmosphere was alluring and intimate. Diana, our very professional waitress took our drink orders and little after our appetizer and our dinner orders. She brought over a wonderful mixed bread basket including delicious garlic bread all gratis. The menu consisted of some wonderful entrees and some specials. Each November week had different fish specials - I guess depending what was in season. To start we shared an incredible Idkand crab cake which had amazing flavor. It was a generous portion and so delicious. Paul had the sweet potato encrusted grouper special which tasted amazing. I had the Cioppino entree which had a luscious broth and packed with an array of seafood and fish. It also included Orzo. I loved it! We couldn't ask for a better meal with excellent service, and atmosphere. I must also remark that the meal came out in a very timely basis. And the venue was completely packed. I can understand why. We look forward to returning soon in the future.

Kee Grill. No, of course, someone else picked it. It never breaks the culinary sound barrier, as the food is very much country club or cruise ship cuisine, but they execute very well, and the service is top-notch. And not steakhouse expensive but not cheap either. You'll never have a bad meal here. Innovative? Interesting? No, but you'll never walk out hungry or angry. And when you're a restaurant with clientele mostly in their 70s? Very important for those two things not to occur. They know their clientele and serve them very well. Our server was a 13-year veteran of this restaurant and resolved the minor issues (sides had to be replaced, and my shrimp dish was overcooked the first time around) like a real pro. And, of course, she was prepared to deal with dietary issues and allergies because that is precisely the crowd that comes to this place. Absolutely will come back if someone else picks it again.

Grouper with lobster gratin, baked potato and Santa Maria spinach. Has red flakes in whole batch so you don't taste any heat

I really wish that I could give this place more stars. Had a reservation and was promptly seated by the lovely Jennifer who was friendly and personable. Our server Carolina was attentive, knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions. She suggested the Santa Maria spinach and I'm so glad that she did. It was heavenly. And it stayed warm throughout my meal. One of my biggest pet peeves is that when a restaurant serves creamed spinach, it's usually in a large dish which makes it cool faster. Kees was served hot in a ramekin which kept it warm throughout. My husband got the sautéed yellowtail with mashed potatoes and pomodoro with no sauce but butter and cheese. The portions were big! So often I feel like we pay more for less but not here. My grouper with lobster gratin was heavenly. Perfection and again portions were great. We sat in a booth and could take in the whole vibe. Definitely the age demographic skews older but it was such a cool place to people watch. Loved the 80s rock music in background

The wonderful apple pastry dessert!

The shellfish pan roast was art on a plate! It had Lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels swimming in a tasty brandy infused tarragon tomato sauce. When a diner is finished and puts their silverware in the 5:00 position on their plate, the waitress should know to take the plate and the silverware. This waitress (red hair, unfriendly) kept on handling everyone's forks and knives and moving them onto the tablecloths thus making the tables soiled. How appetizing. Disgusting. They served the group salad but forgot two and we had to chase them down to get our salads. The staff checks on nothing. I specifically had to ask 3 times for fresh silverware. They finally walked around with a bucket of silverware that looks like it came out of the dishwasher to give new silverware. No class. As I was still full from lunch, I asked for some of my meal to go. A big favor to get a to-go container. And of course she couldn't be bothered doing it but slapped it down on the table for me to do and gave me no bag. The best part? They have a several thousand dollar dinner with this large group and the waitress doesn't bill one of my co-workers at another table for her glass of wine, who had already left. And this waitress gave her the dinner to go so she knew she was leaving and still didn't bill her for the wine. The waitress messed up. No surprise. So she had the drug representative come outside while I am about to get in my car to ask me to pay for someone else's wine!!!! A first! 25$ for a glass of chardonnay (not a large pour) that I come to find out was actually 19$, but the waitress decided to add on a $6 tip for herself! Otherwise she 'couldn't close out.' How about, you mess up then you eat it! So I am chased to my car for another person's drink at another table just because I happen to know her. Wowza! The waitress didn't even say thank you. I can't make this up. It was so tacky and distasteful. Ruined the evening. Oh called the manager on duty, she couldn't have cared less. Too many other places to eat to put up with this!

The space itself is cute, spacious, and accommodating - especially for travelers. It feels like a place where a casual brunch by the pool could work well. Unfortunately, the food didn't match the setting. The hash browns/home fries with vegetables came out cold, as if they had been reheated, and the overall quality just wasn't there. I ordered a classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, home fries, and pancakes, and it was underwhelming across the board. Our waiter mentioned he's rarely seen anyone finish it, and I'm not convinced that's due to the portion size. Nice atmosphere, but the food could use improvement.
