Doc Green's is actually paired with another restaurant it seems, but I was focused on the salad. They have some recommended combos but you can also create your own with a wide array of toppings. I was in heaven looking at all of the fresh veggies, proteins and dressings available. I decided to create my own and just went wild. I was super bummed because I ended up forgetting some favorites (like avocado) because I didn't see/notice them on the cold bar. I chose my dressings, had it mixed up and then checked out. I opted for a fountain drink and unfortunately, the lemonade was toooooo sweet. But that was the only downside because my salad was wonderful!! Everything was fresh, the portions were generous and I felt like I got my money's worth. I'm always in the Akers Mill plaza buying things I don't need so I can't wait to grab another salad at Doc Green's when I'm in the neighborhood!

Tried this place out a while ago and it was delicious, along with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere!! They also sell Asian snacks and ramen, which is a nice lil touch if you're craving some other Asian flavors or a lil snack! I went with my boyfriend and we got the beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, and marinated pork steak with veggie fried rice and this fresh herb sauce. It came with cucumber and macaroni; the cucumber was a bit spicy for me, but that macaroni balanced it out and it was perfect! Everything was cooked to order, so it may take a bit, but it was still quick!! Sorry no pic of food bc it smelled delicious and I ate it before I even thought of taking a pic. If you're expecting a tabletop KBBQ, this isn't a tabletop restaurant. HOWEVER, don't discount or check it off your list just because of that! The flavors felt like I was eating at a tabletop kbbq but without the smoke in my face or sticking to my clothes. What's nice too is that it's served in takeout containers so it was easy for us to clean up and take the leftovers home (if there's any left)! I believe the quality & quantity are worth the price, especially in this day and age!! If you like KBBQ and don't have time to sit down but love the flavors, def visit!! I will definitely be visiting again and again & highly recommend to others!! UPDATE: tried again with my siblings and brought some home to my mom for her to try. We got pork bulgogi, spicy beef bulgogi, spicy pork bulgogi, tteokbokki, and LA galbi. It still stayed warm for us even after the 45 min drive home (traffic was horrible). The tteokbokki was spicy, but sooooo good (eat the mac salad they give and have milk ready if you can't handle spice well but enjoy it; got a banana milk from them and that helped). Everything else was SO DELICIOUS and my mom agreed too (she's quite picky with her food and places she enjoys). I finished the food and I'm craving the flavor so much again. I had an amazing experience at this KBBQ spot! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection--everything from the meats to the sides was top quality. What really made the visit stand out, though, was the owner, Andy. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and clearly takes pride in making sure every guest has a great time. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the food and the people. If you're looking for great Korean BBQ with even better service, this is definitely the place to go. KBBQ Spot is seriously underrated. I came for Korean BBQ, but the galbi tteokbokki and japchae were the real highlights. The galbi tteokbokki had the perfect chewy texture with tender, flavorful galbi, and the sauce was spicy-sweet without being overpowering. The japchae was well-seasoned, not oily, and didn't have that heavy MSG taste just clean, balanced flavors. Good portions, chill vibe, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely coming back. read more

I went with my girlfriend a few times and it's always been amazing food and friendly service. Very clean establishment, simple and clean interior design makes you feel like you're at home. The meal also feels like a warm cooked home meal. I would definitely recommend coming by and trying this place out. My favorite at the pork bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi. This spot just opened up a few weeks ago and it is already so good! The staff was friendly and the menu was reasonably priced. We enjoyed the bulgogi beef box and spicy chicken box with mandu (dumplings) and fries. Their house fry sauce is amazing! Would definitely come back. read more

We also had Bulgogi in both hot plate and hot pot styles (since I'd never tried the latter). Both were nicely and identically flavored, with the hot pot in a sweeter broth with glass noodles. The banchan had excellent variety and the meal portions were good and we took home leftovers. Service was attentive and drink refills were prompt. Seating was comfortable and they did ask us to move to a different table after being seated. This was as a kindness since the adjacent table was a BBQ table and being fired up for a party and they didn't want us to suffer from the initial smoke.
