Spicy bulgogi, Tteokbokki, spicy cucumbers, macaroni salad, rice. Also many selections of Korean snacks and drinks. All incredible.

I've been here for lunch twice now, and both times have been spot on. The east side of Atlanta doesn't have a lot of places for great and speedy Korean food. I love Spring 2nd Branch, but it's a bit tough to get in and out of for a lunch spot. Lucky me that I just happened to be driving by the post office and spotted this place. At first i kind of wrote it off as another traditional sit down kbbq place, but glad I walked in. A very friendly staff greeted me and both times I've ordered their meat and banchan has been on point. Expertly cooked and tender, seasoned to perfection, fluffy rice and the perfect amount of spice on things like their tteokbokki. The only slightly negative thing is the smaller eating area, but that's because the place has been packed from people coming for the food, and understandably so! Hopefully one day they can expand out their store front. KBBQ Spot has definitely been added to my lunch rotation and can't wait to bring some folks to it.

Small Korean eatery with fresh great tasting food! Saw someone post about their beef bulgogi and decided to give it a try. We ordered Beef Bulgogi which was excellent 10/10 ! Great portion of meat, well seasoned and delicious literally not a bite was left! It was soo good smelling i forgot to take a photo! came with steamed rice and for Ban chan spicy cucumbers 8/10 (i like extra hot) and a macaroni salad i ill be back to try the kimchi next time. The tteokbokki was AMAZING it had fish cakes and not overly sweet like many places and not too spicy it was a rich and yummy sauce. 10/10 would come back just for this! The service was awesome the owner was very friendly, explained the menu and was very welcoming. Its a good size shop with about 10/12 tables, even had some wuality kpop playing. Its food for a quick eat or getting takeout. Over all for the price great portions and i will be back to try the dumplings and shortribs onnthe menu!

It's great to have a Korean food option in this area of Marietta (super close to 75/285 interchange). It's a small place in a strip mall. The inside isn't too exciting but good enough to grab a quick lunch. I believe it's family owned. The cashier was pleasant when I came in to order a lunch to-go. He didn't ask me if I needed any recommendations or if I've been there before but he seemed nice enough. He commented to someone ordering after me, "welcome back", so hopefully it's the type of place that will focus on customer satisfaction. I ordered the bulgogi beef box which comes with rice, spicy cucumbers, and macaroni salad (I subbed it for kimchi). It's what I'd expect at a quick restaurant, the bulgogi isn't the top of what I've had but isn't the in the bottom either. The kimchi was flavorless, which I can honestly say seems like an oxymoron. I don't plan to try their kimchi again. The rice and cucumber were good though. You can't be that combo for $13. They also have a small assortment of Asian noodles, think in a bag that you heat in water. They even have a water kettle for you to make the noodles there. Apparently, they have beer and wine coming soon. I'm guessing soju too? That'd be great! I hope KBBQ lasts!

Just happened to see this spot near where I'm staying...wow, I lucked out! First Andy was welcoming from the second I walked in the door. I got the teriyaki chicken box with macaroni salad & pickled cucumber - those sides were sooo good! The teriyaki sauce on the chicken was one of the best I've had...overall fabulous food & service.

It's the best Korean spot off windy hill in Smyrna! Must try, affordable and deliciously homemade. You can taste that a Korean mom made these sides and marination. Some people only had premade, prepackaged kimchi and never know it but if you've had authentic, you'll know the difference. The place delivered exceptional grade meals and sides. Love it

I just got off work and saw this place and decided to stop in.The price was very reasonable and the service was very friendly and kind. Definitely a mom and pop type shop but worth it. They also have dine in available as well but I got my food to go. Had the Spicy Pork Belly and got extra food to try later.

Beef Bulgogi extra beef with rice Japche with the beef bulgogi on top Fries!

We had such a great experience here! Andy, the owner, was amazing and took great care of us. We ended up chatting with him the whole time, which made it feel really welcoming and personal. We ordered the beef bulgogi with extra beef, japchae, and fries. I added our extra beef on top of my noodles while my boyfriend had his with rice, and everything was delicious. The fries were perfectly crisp, and the house sauce for the fries were a 10/10. I loved the touch of herbs on top of the fries. One thing we really liked is that they specialize in boxes instead of bowls, so everything is packaged separately. It keeps the textures and flavors exactly how they should be! They've only been open for three months, so definitely go support them. We'll definitely be back soon!

Lunch KBBQ Spot is an absolute MUST. Andy has created something really special here. The food is seriously 10/10 -- authentic Korean flavors done right. I ordered the galbi and the spicy pork belly, and both were incredible. The galbi was perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the spicy pork belly had the perfect kick -- bold, savory, and addictive. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. Knowing this spot is owned by Andy -- an experienced KBBQ cook, and the fact that this is a mom & pop shop makes me want to support them even more!! If you're craving top-tier Korean BBQ, KBBQ Spot is the place to go. It's convenient, clean, and delicious! The cashier Rebekah was also so amazing and kind! Highly recommend -- I'll definitely be back!!

Just tried out this new spot after a workout at Windy Hill. I believe they said they have only been open three days. This is an immediate favorite. The staff was extremely friendly and inviting, but the food was the real star. The LA Galbi was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The spicy bulgolgi was also great, but be aware, it lives up to its name. If you aren't ready for some heat, this one may not be for you. We asked us if they had any gochujang and they brought us a very tasty soy based red sauce (no heat, but very savory) and a citrusy, tangy, cilantro based sauce they are currently developing. My wife despises cilantro and she even thought the sauce was quite excellent, which speaks very highly of its quality. Looking forward to trying the other menu options. So glad there is a delicious and convenient post-gym dinner option.

    Spicy Chicken

Best thing to hit the scene recently. It's on the healthier side. Not too expensive. Food is bold with flavor. The chicken spicy is not that spicy but it's on the sweeter side and is really good. I've already been back 3 times.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough fast food joints with a focus on fresh salads but lucky for me, Doc Green's was right on my pathway for the day. Located in a huge plaza in Smyrna, Doc Green's is a salad lovers dream. I can't believe this was my first visit! The restaurant itself is narrow but long, offering plenty of seating in the back of the place, as well as the entryway. Doc Green's is actually paired with another restaurant it seems, but I was focused on the salad. They have some recommended combos but you can also create your own with a wide array of toppings. I was in heaven looking at all of the fresh veggies, proteins and dressings available. I decided to create my own and just went wild. I was super bummed because I ended up forgetting some favorites (like avocado) because I didn't see/notice them on the cold bar. I chose my dressings, had it mixed up and then checked out. I opted for a fountain drink and unfortunately, the lemonade was toooooo sweet. But that was the only downside because my salad was wonderful!! Everything was fresh, the portions were generous and I felt like I got my money's worth. I'm always in the Akers Mill plaza buying things I don't need so I can't wait to grab another salad at Doc Green's when I'm in the neighborhood!

I love the combo of tuna and salmon, and I tend to go with their pre-selected options because the variety of toppings here is staggering, and a bit overwhelming! So even if your family doesn't want raw fish, they'll be happy. The folks making the bowls are kind and helpful and polite, and it's basically similar to a Chipotle, where they build the bowl in front of you. You can see all the toppings and choose what you want, or go with a pre-selected bowl. The bowl options looked fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a quick but satisfying meal. We arrived around 11:45 a.m., just before the lunch rush. I ordered the barbecue chicken bowl with black rice. Overall, my bowl was pretty good. The portions were solid, the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was filling without feeling heavy. My coworkers ordered the Greek bowl and what I believe was a teriyaki style bowl. The only strong feedback we had was regarding the seasoning on the Greek bowl. I noticed the seasoning appeared to be sprinkled on top of the chicken after the bowl was assembled. I think if the chicken were tossed in the seasoning beforehand, it would create a more impactful flavor throughout. As it was, my coworker felt the bowl leaned slightly bland because the seasoning did not fully incorporate. What truly stood out to me was the customer service. I believe the owner came in while we were there, and he was incredibly pleasant and hands on. As the lunch crowd grew, it was clear he remembered returning customers and even their usual orders. That level of attentiveness makes a difference. I would definitely return to try more menu options. Next time, I may ask for extra sauce or seasoning to give the bowl a stronger flavor boost.
