My friend and I decided to try something new. I usually order pho, but she wanted to try the Bun Bo Hue, so we both ended up ordering it. Overall, I really enjoyed it! The broth was incredibly flavorful and rich. My only complaint was the noodles... I definitely prefer the thinner rice noodles that come with pho. We also ordered the green papaya salad. It was fresh, delicious, and had a nice kick to it, so if you're not a fan of spicy food, be warned! The summer rolls were also very good. The only downside was the peanut sauce. It had a stronger hoisin flavor than I prefer. I personally like peanut sauce that's creamier and has more of a peanut butter base. I also tried the Thai steamed dumplings. They were okay, but nothing particularly memorable. They came out stuck together and were topped with crunchy garlic bits. Unfortunately, they weren't my favorite dish of the meal. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, even though he was the only one working and was clearly busy. From what I understand, this is a semi-family-owned restaurant (correct me if I'm wrong), and you can really tell that everything is made with care and attention. The restaurant also has two beautiful saltwater aquariums that are relaxing to watch while you enjoy your meal, which adds to the overall atmosphere. One thing to keep in mind is the restaurant's hours. They don't always match what's listed online. They have a takeout-only period from 5:00-6:00 p.m., so it's worth checking before you go. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. I'll be sure to update my review after our next visit! read more

Steak salad was way too well done and hard to chew. The noodles were all clumped together. Flavor was okay. At least the pho was good. My friend recommended this place so decided to give it a shot. I'll probably never try any of his recs again . They have 2 cool fish tanks. I'll def make the trek to my fav Thai spot in Kennesaw and fav Vietnamese restaurant on Buford highway. The guy that took our order was really nice. They charge an extra $1 per item that you take to go just fyi. read more

This is my favorite pho place in all of Atlanta. We haven't had anything else that comes close to the quality and portions of Pho Hoang Long. read more

Be very wary of its hours because they don't always open for dine in even though the hours are listed as open. I had to call them once I've gotten to the restaurant already because I saw employees wandering inside and they said they do take out only until a certain time and then they'll open up for dine in. This should be something that's listed outside so customers do not get confused. They placed a non-specific "be back in 10 minutes sign" and do not state when that is so I'm glad we called to ask because we would've ended up waiting almost an hour before they "open" for dine-in. read more

Amazing food, family owned and friendly staff. The portion is hearty and definitely more than some of the Kennesaw restaurants while being a very tasty broth, easy recommend. read more

Pho Hoang Long - P1. Phở Đặc Biệt - House Special Combo - Vietnamese Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

I can not see any universe where this place gets less than 5 stars. This is why I love this place. 1) It's family owed. Parents are in the kitchen, the sons run the front of house and tables. 2) They are SO NICE, really lovely people 3) This is some of the best food in metro Atlanta. Everything is fresh, delicious, filled with flavor, NEVER disappoints Source: Me going here for well over a decade read more

The food is always great (been here almost 10 times) but the service has always been TERRIBLE!! (There's only one server that's always there) He gives TERRIBLE SERVICE and it sucks because the location is close to home and the food is good. Another BAD THING is he never charges the correct amount thats on the menu AND he charges 7% tax which legally it should be 6% in Smyrna!!! AND if it's 6 people or more he automatically adds a 20% tip not 15 or 18 percent but 20% even if his service isn't great which it rarely ever is. He never gives you a receipt with how much he charges you for what you get so you'll never know unless you do the math yourself. (Ask for a break down and you'll see he'll make up prices) I can go on with a list of every rude comment he's made or his lack of service (he's only good at filing your cup of water) but he won't check on you if you like the food or need anything unless you actually GET UP AND GO ASK HIM yourself. The crazy thing is every single time we still tip hoping he'll change his service next time or recognize us because we like the food but he simply doesn't care and it shows. read more

Amazinggggg pho, fast service, knowledgeable staff, I'm a huge fan. Will always be a hangover cure and a sick meal. Heals me INSTANTLY.

-pho broth is clean and flavorful -spring rolls are always so fresh -service is friendly -prices are pretty affordable considering location (other pho places are much further) -beef in the beef pho was tender and not stringy -seating is on the more limited side so come for early lunch/dinner before the rush -side veggies are fresh read more

My steak and flank pho had chewy ligament that I could not swallow. I guess some may enjoy that but I definitely do not. The Thai dumplings were good and so was the broth in the pho. Service was not great. Our waiter seemed confused with any questions we had about the menu and never came to check on us after the food was brought. I honestly do think the food here might be very tasty but I do not feel like coming back because of the service. The menu has a lot of options to choose from and the prices seem pretty reasonable to me. Side note: Parents with children under the age of 5... Please do not let your kids run around screaming for minutes on end. When I was a kid my parents used to take me out to the car till I was under control so I would not ruin everyone else's dinner after a long day of work. read more

The pho was fresh and pretty good. I do think it's a tad overpriced. We ordered to go as their dine in opens at a certain time

Pho Hoang Long - P1. Combo pho - Vietnamese Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

Found this place near a supermarket I shop at. So the little strip mall it's in is a bit run down but all the food I've had there is DELICIOUS! So I've actually been here twice. The first time I ordered one of their Thai dishes (Green Curry Chicken) and it was one the best I've ever had. I wanted to wait until I had the Pho to review it all since it is a Pho place. The service is very good. Very friendly and nice people. It's attached to a market next door. Is it a five star vibe, definitely not but it's clean and spacious. The best part, the food. The Pho is probably the best I've had here in Atlanta. So much flavor in the broth, generous portion of meat and even more noodles. All the dressings are fresh and they have all the sauces and add one you would want. Chicken Satay is delicious and so are their Buffalo Wings. The Thai Curry was amazingly good. Great place and can't wait to go back to try some of the other dishes as they all look amazing. read more

If you are looking for great Vietnamese food this is the place. The plaza is old school and the atmosphere is blah but the fresh spring rolls will be the best you have ever eaten. The pho is great with a wide selection of proteins. The vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and shrimp is very good, a good fish sauce mix is served with the bowl. I have eaten here 15-30 times and never disappointed. This is a converted Vietnamese grocery store. Expect great food but low expectations on atmosphere!. One of the best in Atl read more

I personally love Pho Hoang Long. I find the food is better than or equal to most places on Buford Highway. It sort of has a feel like an Asian restaurant in NYC - not fancy decor but good food. If you know your pho, bun, com - you'll like this place read more

Excellent Pho for an incredibly low price. It's not a fancy spot, but the price is excellent and the portions are large. Service was very good as well. Pho Hoang Long - Vermicelli with pork, shrimp and spring rolls. Delish! - Vietnamese Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

I wanted to update my review (after getting takeout from here another 5+ times!) to say that this is 100% our place for Vietnamese. I don't even need to consider anywhere else in Cobb County, but Pho Hoang Long has delivered us consistently excellent Vietnamese food every time we've ordered. Bonus: the guy usually running the phone and checkout is really chill and friendly. Want a sweet story? I spent a vacation away from home for a week while my husband stayed with his parents. My husband knew I'd have a helluvah flight + a rideshare trip back home. He ordered me some beef pho from Pho Hoang Long via ubereats for me so that he could take care of me while we were still apart. If that's not love, what is? I really enjoy their pho (which is excellent) because it hits the spot when I'm feeling sick and like I need to be gentle with my body AND when I want something that feels upscale and elevated. My husband and I also often get the vermicelli / rice dishes that come with shrimp / pork. Can't go wrong with this food! read more

My husband and I moved to Cobb county and we hadn't found great Pho, until we found this gem! It is an older plaza with other Ethnic restaurants, with plenty of parking. The restaurant was casual and very clean. They have two massive saltwater aquariums that are very well taken care of, very pretty to look at. Every time I start to feel a cold coming on, I run to get pho.Sure enough, I feel so much better today! You're able to choose between three different sizes of pho, all very well priced. The broth was fantastic. So good that I forgot to take pictures of the chicken Pho I ordered. The restaurant is Thai and Vietnamese. We ordered the Thai steam dumplings and they were fantastic as well. The restaurant has been around for about 20 years, the service was great as well. We will definitely be back. read more

Food was good. Ordered the Pho and Spring rolls. Standard Vietnamese food. Mom and Pop resturant.

Winter months, taste for Pho. if you want the best in West Side Cobb you would want to pay this place a visit. Pho Hoang Long is a staple in this community and have been here for years! It been owned by the small family so there are no disruption in consistency and expectation. you can tell when you first walk they have some good food inside. There is a lot of space inside and it looked like some of the table and chairs were removed. I didn't ask any questions. Just went straight for the QR menu connection and placed my order. While the restaurant was not crowded on this Wednesday early evening they had a lot of to go orders in rotation. Once i placed my order the waiter said that I could wait in the car and he would bring it to me. I did that. It gave me the chance to read more Yelp reviews about the place and feel good about this being my "first timer" - did a basic order of Pho and asked the waiter what sizes do they come in, His response was on to go orders we only do large. I'm like cool - he comes out to the car and hands me a bag that looked like it weighed 20lb. I took the bag and gave thanks. I liked the fact that they used styrofoam containers for the soup! Makes a difference with heat but also the sturdiness of the container. By the time I made it home it was still hot to taste. When I cracked open the first box could not believe that for as much as it weighed it had that much food inside. One large to go is a perfect amount for 2 people. There are many other things to try and the reading got more intense for the menu -n I look forward to the next time to simply dine in and enjoy my time in their space. The location near Pat Mell is busy, a combination of homes and small businesses mostly restaurants and shops. It is a community driven area so you get a little built of everything and everybody over here. It has a sense of pride and attitude wrapped into a tortilla or steamy bowl of broth. Come out and enjoy your time, read more

Not sure how the food is because when we went there the worker said it's take out only even though the hours on Yelp said open and they had open sign. Might want to specify somewhere that certain hours are take out only so people don't drive out there like we did and have to leave. read more

Pho Hoang Long is a Vietnamese staple. Family run, it has been up and respected for a long time. It has been one of my family's go to spots for authentic Vietnamese food for over 10 years. While the area it's located in is kind of sketchy, Hoang Long sits right in the middle with a somewhat small entrance. There is the typical fish tanks and there even used to be a grocery store connected to the restaurant. Food at Pho Hoang Long never disappoints, namely their pho. Their brisket is extremely flavorful and they usually give generous portions of meat. Their broth is also flavorful and sometimes I don't even need to add hoisin sauce. As for service, there has never been any difficulties. The two brothers are usually spot on and willing to help. Definitely a must-try for those who are looking for authentic Vietnamese gems. read more
