I've ordered takeout for lunch or had dinner delivered a few times from this new spot. It's become my family's go to spot for Chinese in the area. When I've gone in to order, the cashiers at the front have been nice. I will say you may have to ask if your order is ready because I went to the restroom quickly and I it was ready when u was home but no one said anything, so I waited unnecessarily long until I asked about it. So far we've had the orange chicken, Mongolian chicken and shrimp, Hong Kong stir fry noodles, Szechuan chicken, pork bao, chicken soup dumplings, hot and sour soup, general tso's chicken, and chicken lo mein. Our favorites are the Hong Kong noodles and the soup dumplings. I didn't care for their Szechuan chicken or hot and sour soup because they're just different from what I've experienced elsewhere. They only opened in July so they are ironing out any wrinkles as well as modifying their menu. I was excited to try this new resto in Smyrna as it's closest to me. Not sure why there has been no good dumplings restaurants around the Metro for decades! Recently there are 3 new dumplings restaurants that opened and I'm ofc to check them out . ++. I tried their beef Shanghai dumplings and hot and sour soup. Both were pretty good! They Hot and Sour soup had a nice flavor and texture but could've used more tofu. Their Shanghai style dumplings are Southern style that is different than the northern style I'm used to from the West Coast restaurants. They were both good! They scratch make dumplings everyday! They have MSG in their foods but I did NoT experience the cotton mouth nor a headache :). They also serve Americanized Chinese dishes and weekday lunch specials. I'm interested in dumplings, so I'll be back to try XLB and pan fried dumplings! ++ Pricing was pretty reasonable. ++ Service was friendly and informative! This is a new restaurant that I tried, and it's not bad. The pan-fried chicken potstickers were pretty good, and the chicken stir-fry was great. I didn't care for the chicken soup dumpling . A friend raved about this find so I tried it for lunch. The decor is understated but clean. The menu has a lot of selections from dumplings, to soups and traditional dishes. I don't eat pork, but apparently the pork wontons with hot chili are delish. I ordered the chicken dumplings, pan fried. They were fresh and hot but the filling of ground chicken and corn was just ok. We shared an order of spicy Szechuan chicken, which surprising, came out first. The dish was flavorful. Definitely our new favorite spot. The fried dumplings were fire. The shrimp stir fry was phenomenal! And a healthy portion. My son loved the mapo tofu (added extra spice). We got the Oreo boba that was also delicious. 10/10 recommend. read more

I am really loving that a authentic dumpling house has moved into our area here in Smyrna. No longer do we have to drive to Buford hwy to enjoy handmade dumplings and bao. I gave them 4 stars only because I think that they are not quite to Northern China level. Close, but not quite yet. Came to try the soup dumplings but they were out of them. Ordered the beef noodle soup. It had NO taste. The broth was flavorless. My ramen noodles were in big clumps stuck together. This reminds me of what I would be able to get at home in NYC. The prices were super reasonable as well. Our total including tax was $110. The service was nice and efficient. They kept asking if we wanted our check before we even got our food. Any questions that were outside of can I get the check or where my food they didn't understand.
