    Ice Cream Watermelon Tea
    Felix S.

We chanced upon this place after hearing about it from nearby Emory students. It's not a bad spot with moderately priced drinks. We had an ice cream watermelon tea which was fascinating, I recommend you add sugar cause they aren't sweet at all except the ice cream. The store was clean and had a modern Japanese vibe to it. Very cute. The service staff was patient and answered all my questions about the drinks too. They were quick to get my drink. Overall a good place, has some wild flavors, and can be a good treat if you're in the mood.

Food was good and sweet! Friendly staff and made things fresh. The ambience has a nice area.

I got the matcha-ppreciated & it's enough dessert for 2 so it took me forever to eat it It's good! The matcha ice cream is creamy & taiyaki was crunchy outside and soft inside. I wished I had more custard because it was quite good $8.75 I got a yakult drink & didn't get any bubbles as it was already expensive enough at $6.75 Pretty expensive for drink & dessert so definitely not something I'd do often and they don't have much seating in here Service was ok. Nothing to note either way Location isn't as nice as the location on Buford hwy used to be but it was a nice treat while In the area

Just going by taste, the white peach smoothie tea is a good option! I was craving something sweet, and it's right here. It's cold, sweet, and has a good texture if you get jelly with it. This is one of their seasonal drinks (~$8), kinda pricey but it's big and tastes like a peach slushie. Parking is plentiful. Sometimes they got waves of people where there's a line, but there isn't that much seating. The back corner has 3 tables stacked next to each other. It's not a comfortable or homey bubble tea shop I'd say.

First time here. I was in the plaza and searched for dessert near me. This spot pulled up and I looked up and it was right in front of me. lol I checked out the menu before going inside. I decided on Thail iced tea with boba at 50% sweetness. I would get 70% next time because 50% taste like I'm drinking milk but the boba makes it better. The staff were friendly and I love the cute cafe setup with tables.

This place is amazing! They offer so many choices it can be a little overwhelming. The staff was fantastic and offered a few suggestions after we mentioned it was our first time in. I settled on a freshly made cone with strawberry cheesecake and the fresh custard. It was delicious! Do yourself a favor and get the custard on whatever you order. It's sweet but not too overpowering. Yum yum yum. There were also big chunks of cheesecake all throughout the ice cream. If I lived close this place would be a problem for my waistline. Highly recommended

Took my daughter here to meet up with two of her friends to enjoy some treats. The ambiance was nice, with a great music selection for 12 year old girls. They really enjoyed their food so much so they got seconds. While the service was good, the young lady at the register seemed to be getting a bit annoyed that the girls were taking a long time to order. It's important to note that they are kids and still get a bit nervous when ordering and paying on their own. All in all a good time, we'd definitely go back.

Finally tried this super popular spot. It does get crowded but the line moves relatively fast. The two times I have been there, the service has been good and helpful with suggestions or any questions we had. I thought the super fruit four-season tea was good although since most of it was citrus fruit, a little sour and probably out of season. The fresh strawberry smoothie tea was also good. It was all very refreshing but I wish they had more non-mixed fruit tea options because the smoothie teas are heavier and do not go great with toppings. Their boba is good, it has a nice sweetness but not overly sweet in the drinks. It is a smaller space so if it is crowded, you will just have to take it to go although there are some tables to sit at. I also think that it is a little pricey and there are other great bubble tea options around that are not quite as expensive.

This place offered bubble teas and ice cream waffles. I shouldn't hold against them that the person in line in front of me spent a lot of time talking on the phone with someone about what to order, or the confusion between ube and purple yam that ensued, but it still wasn't amazing service. The ice cream waffle I sampled was notable for a strongly flavored green tea ice cream. The fish waffle was nothing world-beating, but the custard inside was tasty. For the price, I just wasn't that impressed with the limited topping options. It struck me as an okay place for people who hadn't tried this sort of thing, but for the price of getting something like this done right in Chinatown NY or something, this was not the level of experience I had there.

So many people have recommend any of Tea Leaf's locations to me and I finally got the chance to try (spoiler: it lives up to the hype)! It's open pretty late and there's a big parking lot so that was awesome for a little post-dinner dessert. The shop is small and there was a small line we had to wait in to order and get our food but it moves quickly. We got an egg waffle ice cream with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with add-ons of oreo, coffee cookie, custard, and Reese's. The ice cream was MASSIVE and I was glad 3 of us were sharing it. My friend also tried their Thai tea boba which was also delicious. Overall, super cute spot and I can't wait to go back!!

I have been in this area a thousand times and never knew about this place. It's open pretty late which is awesome and it's the best place to get a sweet treat after dinner!! We showed up around 9 and it was pretty full! Had to wait a sec to get our order taken and then get our order but no big deal! We got the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with the addle with custard and coffee cookie, Oreo and Reese's. This was decadent!! Definitely worth the sharing as it was massive!! I would love to come again to try the filled fish waffles they have because they are so cute. Love this place!

    Really yummy!

In the mood for sweets or refreshing drinks, you've come to the right spot! It was around 3 in the afternoon and I needed a pick me up sweets after a long morning with lots of walking. Yelp suggestions and reviews got me here. I ordered mango ice cream, slush and mango popping boba. It is so good and perfectly sweet. I'm glad I ordered it with 50% sugar. I can't imagine how sweeter it will be at 100% sugar. The mango popping boba is so addictive that I was attempted to order more but not today. I highly recommend coming here. During my 20 minute stay, I do notice many customers placing orders to go. You can either order at the counter or the kiosk by the door. Parking is plenty as this spot is located in a strip shopping area.

DTox offers a variety of freshly made juices, smoothies and bowls that they make right in front of you. They also have pressed juices that they make daily, but are able to be picked up and purchased. On this day I wanted to try one of their smoothies that would hold my appetite over for breakfast, so I got their Rise and shine ($9) Inside the rise and shine includes bananas, dates, maca root, vanilla, coffee, homemade almond butter, cacao and your choice of almond or coconut milk (I selected coconut milk). In terms of flavor, it's about what I expected. That is to say if you're getting and expecting a shake that's sweet and of dessert quality, this probably wont be for you. The banana and coffee are a combo that I didn't think would work, but they were both front and center in this shake but again, it wasn't terribly sweet and provided only a hint of sugar to me. Refreshing it was, but filling or a meal replacement it sadly wasn't and I walked away wanting more when my cup was empty. Customer service was high energy, excited and was happy to tell me about their products. Very friendly group that seemed to love their job. Because this DTox is located inside the Whole Foods 365, parking here is no problem in this shared lot. There is no seating here or tables, so it's a get it and go location, which works great for people beginning or ending their shopping

They have a small menu of smoothies, juices, teas, and even a few of those "healthy" bowls that is all the craze nowadays. It's extremely convenient for something quick (but overpriced) healthier options of food. I'm not a huge fan to be honest. My SIL ordered me "the smoothie" and she ordered "the milkshake" and both were equally underwhelming. The cashier was less than pleasant as well. Would it kill to smile while working in customer service? No greeting and when she came out with our drinks she didn't even say anything. She just stood there staring at us with two drinks in hand. Awkward. I'm not a fan, but I go to Whole Foods way too much, so admittedly it's nice to know I have options to get some sort of sustenance. I'd only try it again if my anemia kicks in, and I'm on the brink of passing out though.

Every time I go, it's never packed, and I'm perfectly fine with that. But the reality is... this place has it going on. The competitor--yeah, you know the "king" I'm talking about--fails in comparison to Planet Smoothie. I first tried them years ago at Stonecrest Mall, but I was thrilled when I found this location closer to me. It's conveniently located in the Publix shopping center with plenty of parking. Perfect for a quick walk-in, or if you're like me and love racking up points, you can order ahead on the app for easy pickup. I especially love their bowls--like the PB & the Bee with peanut butter, blueberries, bananas, granola, honey, and your choice of açaí or dragon fruit base. I personally prefer the dragon fruit, but don't knock either until you try them. And yes, I always add extra peanut butter... don't judge me. The staff is always friendly, mostly younger, and they've never missed on my order. I've also tried one of their fan-favorite smoothies, the Peanut Butter Power Up--peanut butter, bananas, whole grain oats, chia seeds, and frozen yogurt. Delicious and filling every time. Pricing is fair for the quality: smoothies start at $7.49 for a 20 oz, and bowls are $14.99--well worth it for how fresh and satisfying they are. It's hard to believe Planet Smoothie turned 30 as of August 2025, but I hope they're around for another 30 years. This spot has quickly become one of my favorite smoothie places, offering way more variety than just a few standard options. And the customization choices? Surprisingly affordable and impressively expansive. I've said enough. Now you just need to go try it!
