This little Smyrna gem is located off South Cobb Drive in shopping center across from Jim n Nick's. It's small but you can't miss it. Parking is free. I went with the chicken hibachi. It was $3.50 extra for egg fried rice. There is no charge for regular fried rice. I was little annoyed my coworker didn't pay the upcharge. She still got egg in her rice. There are several upcharges with the rice if you add vegetables, a protein, etc. To be honest, that was a first as usually egg and veggies come in the fried rice. The meal came with soup and wonton, salad, hibachi chicken, veggies and rice. The food was good. A little bit more than others for same meal. I will say the restaurant has been referred to me several times. I was looking for higher quality. I was told to try the Chinese dishes instead and would taste what everyone has been saying. It said 25 minutes in a Saturday night and it was ready upon arrival. Parking was easy. Vegetable rolls were crispy and fresh. Spicy basil shrimp was a generous portion and full of flavor. Finding great Chinese food that I enjoy has been such a struggle for me so I was hyped to see the great reviews posted for Michiru and decided to go for it. Ordering online was incredibly easy, they even have an app that you can choose to use if you're regular! We opted for a few lunch special options: Orange chicken + fried rice + hot & sour soup, Wings + fried rice, wonton soup + fried rice + chicken and chicken fried rice + side salad. For 4 meals and then some, this order was surprisingly affordable. After ordering, our food was ready about 20 min later and we headed to pick it up. I absolutely love this place. I don't live far so I come all the time and their food is always good. The Mongolian beef is always cooked well and their chicken egg rolls are so good. The only thing I don't like are the spring rolls. They always taste underdone so I usually throw them away. However everything else I've had has been great, including the shrimp lo mien and the orange chicken. The service is quick as well. I order via the app and it's usually ready within 5-10 minutes. read more

I ended up ordering the Hibachi Chicken w. Fried rice. You can choose between fried or white rice. The rice is not like the typical fried rice but it is paired perfectly w. Soy sauce or the yummy sauce & whatever meal you choose. The Hibachi meals also come w. Green salad, mixed vegetables and/or clear soup. I picked the clear soup. I gave a 4 because the "fried rice" is literally white rice with soy sauce. I thought there would be peas and carrots or at least green onion in the rice. I would have went with white rice if that were the case. I was happy with the Mongolian beef though! I liked that the lunch portion came with a spring roll and soup or a soda. I did the hot and sour soup and like that you have 3 soups to choose from. Customer service was great over the phone and in person. The restaurant was clean and organized. Tried this place for lunch today. Got the triple basil rice dish with hot and sour soup and it came with a spring roll. The soup was very good, The spring roll tasted like a frozen grocery store roll and I didn't like the dish I ordered. It had beef, chicken and shrimp with onions and bell peppers. There were more onions than meat in the dish and the beef was so mushy and soft. I might go back and try something else before I give up on this place. read more

It's not Asian people in the back making the food but the latinos/Hispanic preparing and cooking the food makes this place one of my favorite places in Cobb County - City if Smyrna my go to go Chinese & Hibachi restaurants. I've probably gotten the lunch special this year over +45 times. My go to which is not a lunch special is the Singapore Noodles and the Chicken Rise noodles and on a cold day or long weekend the Large Wonton Soup. Tons of other items I haven't tried. Went here for the first time and it was just average. I ordered the spicy garlic chicken and it wasn't spicy at all and did not have a garlic flavor. It was actually a bit sweet. Found this restaurant via yelp when in search of lunch. I love hibachi because it's typically cooked FRESH to order and this restaurant (somehow) has 4STARS!! I don't always need the theatrics that usually come with the hibachi experience so when I stumbled on this via yelp, I was excited! I felt immediate disappointment when I pulled up around 2 pm and found the restaurant EMPTY. Upon walking in I discovered this was a carryout and not a restaurant, meaning no hibachi tables in sight. There were a few tables for someone to sit and eat lunch but no ambiance. I placed my order online and when I arrived it was ready! I noticed the drink that came with the lunch combo was not in the bag and I was given it when I asked. I would have easily left without it had I not checked. The prices match the quantity. The hibachi lunch special comes with "Fried" or white rice, a salad, and soup. The Chinese lunch combo comes with "fried" or white rice, an eggroll, soup and a can of soda. Both entrees are around $12-14. Definitely a deal! My issue is the quality of the food. SUBPAR! The "fried" rice is simply a ton of rice with a splash of soy sauce. No egg, no onion, no carrot or peas. Just rice and soy sauce. Most of the styrofoam container is rice. The hibachi chicken and steak had no signs of beng seared and teh steak was overcooked. I also missed the teriyaki flavor. What I was most excited about was the veggies that typically accommpany hibachi...zuchinni, onion, broccoli cooked to perfection - al dente! somewhere burried under the protiens I discovered the veggies which were drowning in sauce and completly overcooked. This is some of the best chinese food I've had. My family and I indulged in the crab rangoons, fried wings, house lo mein, and orange chicken.
