One of Vinings' best-kept secrets! Tucked away near Paces Ferry, the atmosphere here is surprisingly peaceful. The staff was incredibly attentive, and my food arrived hot and fresh. The portion sizes are very generous for the price. Highly recommend sitting down for their Kung Pao Chicken and pot stickers! read more

Best Drop soup I've ever had it pairs very well with lemonade on the surface. The people are so sweet.

Well, well I finally got delivered good old fashioned shrimp fried rice just like I used to have as a child in NYC. Not only did it look amazing, the flavor was delicious.....so much so, I didn't have to re-make it adding onions and veggies. I've never had such huge shrimp that are cleaned so meticulously. and prepared perfectly done!! This is a winner!! read more

Not our cup of tea. Food average at best! We have been searching for a new Chinese food for delivery since our old favorite was acquired by another restaurant and the quality of the food declined! read more

As a general rule, this restaurant has been great. Tonight was off. The fried rice almost looked black and the cashew chicken has stuff in it I have never seen. I think that slipped terribly tonight. read more

I live in Miami, Florida, and was visiting great friends in Atlanta. My Buddy highly recommended the food from China Moon Restaurant. We made a Takeout Order. At that time, it was clearly communicated that I had a severe Shellfish Allergy. Specifically, requesting that my Chinese Chicken Dinner be prepared separately from the other Dishes. We returned home and consumed the Meals. Upon awakening in the middle of the night, I discovered that I had been exposed to Shellfish somewhere in the Restaurant's Kitchen Preparation Area. I had a severe Allergic Reaction that caused me to be hospitalized and treated for multiple days! Shellfish Allergies are no joke and can kill. Every Restaurant must take them seriously and not combine Cooking Oils or Food Preparation Areas. Sadly, my initial experience with China Moon's takeout was a personal medical disaster!! read more

This place happens to be across the street from my office, so since I haven't been in a while, and heard they were under new management I thought I'd try it again. Ordered the dinner Shrimp Egg Fu Yung, that comes with three patties. One of the patties had one (1) shrimp and the other two had 2 shrimp. Wish I had taken a picture. I paid $16.00+ (food plus tip for take-out) for fried eggs and onions. If you're in Vinings choose Orient Express instead, they may cost more but the food quality and quantity is much much better. read more

The food is okay but very expensive, however it is in Vinnings so..... take it for what it's worth. I probably won't go there again as you can get something that tastes just as good on other side of town cheaper. read more

Your typical full of flavor and quick Chinese restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was neatly prepared, and they were very timely. They are a little pricier than similar restaurants but it is worth it. I look forward to trying more items on the menu. Best Thing: Wasn't salty at all!!! read more

My go to Sunday Hungover Chinese restaurant! Food is always awesome Never been inside

One of the favorites for a Friday night. We order to go all the time. It has a lot of yummy options.

It's obvious to my family that I'm over the moon about China Moon! Cheesy, but true. My family has our select go to entrees for dining in and/or takeout which makes it easy to come back again and again. Singapore Rice Noodles all vegetables, extra extra extra spicy and extra dry, don't hold back on the egg because I need my protein. Having a gluten allergy makes my ordering of late simple and specific. My husband likes the seafood fried rice, the fried wings and spring rolls are his staples. The ambience inside is one of peace and tranquility. The food comes out expeditiously and is always hot and fresh up. They offer enough portion wise that I end up have a couple of days worth leftovers. If I'm not mistaken they offer delivery, but I've never used heir services. I'm grateful to have found a go to spot for decent Chinese takeout. And their sweet tea hits the spot! read more

China Moon Restaurant - Singapore Rice Noodle veggie style - opt for dry, extra spicy - Chinese Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

I was visiting in the area and saw that this had decent reviews. I would encourage you not to go here. I spent $28 and I may have eaten 4 tablespoons. I was overcharged told the menu hasn't been updated. I ordered the egg for Young. I think there was two shrimps in each patty. I was told the rice had eggs, carrots onions I had to dig through to find any eggs and maybe you had two or three carrots I think it was full of onions, though I have never given a one, but this place gets a one if I could give it zero it would've gotten zero I should've taken it back, but I didn't. I didn't want to deal with the potential conflict so I decided to write this review I hope it helps someone make a decision go to orient express read more

I absolutely love this Restaurant some of the best Chinese Food reminds me of the Chinese Food in New York in China Town. They have some of best spring rolls. Very clean inside and staff is very friendly read more

I've tried this restaurant more than 5 times in about a year or even more. I do not recommend this place most importantly because of the service I've received multiples of times. Horrible Thai dishes. read more

The place was surprisingly really good! I haven't found a Chinese spot I like since I came to GA in 2016. I saw this place on Uber eats but I had to come to yelp to see the reviews. I had the Mongolian chicken with fried rice ($17) & spring rolls ($5) which both were delicious. The chicken was nice and saucy. The rice was flavorful. The spring rolls were good but I like mine fried a little longer. The only discrepancy I have is the price. It's was 24$ (with taxes) for two items and one was an appetizer, yikes ! read more

This place is a hidden gem! It may be easily overlook due to being tucked away in the backside of a plaza, but it deserves more love! Does everything an American Chinese restaurant should. I love the Mongolian beef! read more

China Moon is our go-to Chinese takeout restaurant. Every time we order the service is friendly and quick, with every order being ready in 20 min or less. The food has always been delicious and hot, and quite good. We've found China Moon to be the best quick Chinese food option in our area. I love you, China Moon! read more

Very delicious Chinese food hard to find good Chinese food in area, this is our top choice for vinngs area.

Really good Chinese food! Really good service!!! I always enjoy my meals here. Authentic food

Some of the best Chinese takeout I've had in a longggg time. My only gripe is that it's double the price of most places, but I suppose that's par for the course. The beef lo mein is superb as is their general Tso's. The general surprisingly kept its crispness even after being delivered. Crab Rangoon are spot on and i loved how garlicky and oniony the stir fried green beans were. read more

I really like China Moon. It feels like your real old school Chinese restaurant. Most people are getting takeout at the moment. My party dined in recently. I must say my friend introduced me to Sizzling Rice Soup- this is a game changer and many Chinese restaurants do not offer it. You must get this when you eat here. It only comes as a serving for 2. But trust me you want this soup. We also had Mongolian beef which was great. Five stars for being a classic Chinese restaurant. Seems good to the bone to me! read more

China Moon Restaurant - Mongolian Beef - Chinese Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

After ordering from Canton Cooks II for years in Sandy Springs, my friends and I shifted our Chinese takeout orders to China Moon recently and have been very pleased with our decision. The menu and food is excellent; the menu is larger and more interesting than a lot of other places and the food is well-executed despite the menu size. As a small experiment, we ordered beef chow fun from three different places in the area and found China Moon's to be the best, with the other two either far too oily or too sweet. That's just one example, but our food from China Moon has consistently been great. More importantly, China Moon's customer service is outstanding. One of my friends is allergic to black pepper and can't handle any spice. The lady at the China Moon front desk patiently worked with me to find a dish that they exclude black pepper from with minimal fuss and, more importantly, the kitchen executed our request. At a time when most takeout places straight up don't know if their dishes have any spice or not and their kitchens will douse dishes in pepper despite clear requests not to, this was a godsend. Orders are also ready when they're supposed to be ready and the staff is friendly to chat with during our waits. Glad we found this place and will be ordering from them more. read more

I Ordered through Grubhub. The shrimp w lobster sauce was excellent. HOWEVER they must use tons of msg because my face was swollen the next day. It's a shame. read more

This has become our new favorite Chinese takeout spot. So far, we've tried and liked the General Tso's, orange peel beef, and shrimp spring rolls. All are very good. We especially like the spring rolls, which use the spring roll papers you normally see at most restaurants, but the rolls are larger than normal and with larger shrimp. We'll be keeping this place in our normal rotation of take-out spots. read more

I've been happy with the place but a shared dish of roast pork egg fu yung made two people sick.

Worst Chinese food ever in my life. No flavor. All foodstuffs tasted the same. Too bad given the source.

I ordered the Happy Buddha in spicy garlic sauce over the phone for pickup. It came with white rice. The food was good will come back to try their chicken wings and shrimp fried rice read more

Our food was horrible! Burned fried rice, tough sesame chicken, and dried out chicken egg rolls! A terrible waste of money! We have eaten here for 6 years! Won't return!!!!! read more

Only lost a star because I find it pretty pricey, worth it, but a tad high. The general Tao chicken is in my top 3 all time GT's, and the generous house fried rice had the most delicious shrimp in it! I had done take out, but I'd like to try eating there too, it seemed kinda cute and the staff was friendly. read more

I ordered lunch here. Mongolian beef and egg roll wasn't fresh at all. Hot and sour soup is average.

Tasteless Chinese food. The best thing was the glass of water and fortune cookie. Not coming back here.

Was very excited to eat from this location, unfortunately had a bad experience and found multiple pieces of hair in the food. They're were not the most accommodating of the situation, I was told the manager was too busy to speak with me and I did not receive a full refund. I would give their customer service a poor review for how the situation was handled. read more

I just moved into my new apartment and this place was in walking distance so I decided to give it a try. The menu didn't do a great job at describing exactly what came with the dinner entrees but upon calling I found out it came with steamed rice which was a plus. I also got soy sauce, duck sauce, and a fortune cookie with my sesame chicken, which was an above average sized portion I'm not sure if I'll ever dine in, but the restaurant seemed to have a good ambiance. The lady who answered the phone was extremely friendly both them and when I picked up my order. I say all of that to say, I'll definitely be coming back here. The food and service exceeded my expectations. read more

Good old stand by. It's amazing how difficult it is to find a good Chinese restaurant - this is mine. China Moon is next to Meehan's in the old Uncle Wong's location. The food is much much better though. This is Americanized Chinese and consistently good food. They have a wide range of choices and their prices are reasonable. They are very good about catering to each customer's specifications. The staff and the owner are super nice and eager to please customers. They have a relaxing small dining room with great service. Nice to escape the hustle n bustle. It's hidden from Paces Ferry so enter from QT and enjoy my good old stand by. read more
