I was at the nail salon nearby (AZ Nails) and hadn't eaten in 24 hours thanks to getting off at 8am and getting up for doctor's appts at 2pm. Despite the heinous reviews - I decided to give them another try. I ordered the chicken lo mein and the pineapple chicken fried rice. I asked that they make the rice spicy. Customer Service The cashier was young'ish' - very monotone - and seemed pretty apathetic. Interior / exterior Too dark for me to see much of anything. This parking lot could definitely use more light but that's on their landlord, not them. Inside is dark and it's dine-in only now. Food When I arrived to pick up my food - we had a little bit of a discussion regarding pineapple chicken fried rice VERSUS pineapple fried rice. I asked for pineapple chicken fried rice but he claimed I said pineapple fried rice. Pineapple fried rice isn't even an option (on the paper menus or website) and he said he wanted to make sure I knew the rice contained chicken. Sigh. Here's my verdict. My rice was good - but there was very little chicken or pineapple in. At first - I thought they'd forgotten the pineapple but I realized that most of the chicken and pineapple was over in the far right quarter of the container. The lo mein was ok. I was thrilled to see that it wasn't swimming in oil. But once again - the chicken was really sparse. Value Because the protein portions are so small - this was not a good value. I used my chopsticks to pick the few meager chicken pieces from my lo mein then added them to my rice. So much for my plan to get eat the rice tonight and eat the lo mein tomorrow. I'll have to 'velvet' chicken tomorrow to add to my lo mein - either that or eat it as a side over the next few days. I didn't hate it - but there's nothing that stood out during my visit that would make me venture back in any time soon. read more

Overall it's not the most amazing Chinese food but way better than a lot of other takeout spots in Atlanta. So all in all if you're in the area and you're looking for some Chinese food. I was found the food nicely cooked, hot, and well-prepared. I stopped in yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner and called my order in for pick-up. They don't have Egg Foo Yung which was a slight disappointment but the Shrimp Friend Rice and Crab Rangoons were good. They, due to COVI-19, have a closed dining room but my food was delicious and was cooked to order. The shrimp were not overly cooked to having the consistently of chicken and the rangoons were savory and sweet. Give them a shot if you haven't already. I think you'll be pleased. read more

Wow... this place is a FIND. Appetizer shrimp egg roll- hand made and wrapped and fried right here. This is HUGE- it's a small meal in itself, and VERY tasty. Get two- you're done. The food we got here was good. I had General Tso Chicken and my wife the Sesame Chicken. Both of the dishes had good flavor and cooked well. The fried rice that came with the meal was really more of just a brown rice, not a typical fried rice you would expect. Did have a good flavor though. I got the hot and spicy triple. It contains chicken shrimp and beef onions zucchini and scallions and I also added broccoli. The spice level wasn't that bad and the flavor was ehhh. The portion is huge three or four people could eat off of it. I also got the appetizer sampler. It comes with two crab ragoons two butterfly shrimp two steam dumplings and two chicken wings. This is the best Chinese takeout in the area. The food is well made and well packaged. The food is well flavored. I haven't been disappointed in anything I've ordered. Customer service is very nice. For instance, I came in one day with my baby and his car seat. It was a hassle to carry him and my large order all back to the car. I have been a customer since 2015 so I simply thought the chef mixed up the order or forgot to put the chicken in the patties. For a few years my husband and I have supported Green Lotus and we have loved the food. It was consistent and tasty. There have been times where we have ordered things and the order wasn't quite correct or they would send food with no sauce or utensils but we kept patronizing them anyway because we liked the food so much. A few months ago we stopped ordering food by delivery because they made a rule that they wouldn't deliver if you didn't place an order over $40. What? Who places a $40+ delivery order on the regular for one person! Then we noticed some of the recipes varied from their original taste but the quality seemed to be good so we kept going. But tonight, tonight was the last straw. I placed an order for Shrimp Fried and General Tso Shrimp. I waited 45 minutes and just as promised the order arrived which we paid $24 plus a tip. Not too bad considering it was delivered but when I opened the bag there was no sauce, utensils or napkins. Then I opened the box to find sweet and sour shrimp instead of general tso's Shrimp. I called the restaurant and they guy that took my order said he ordered the wrong thing and that he would send the right thing. It was already 9 PM. I explained that we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes and asked if he could just credit our account so that the next time we ordered I could get what I ordered and not pay for the general tso's. He said that he would give us some free crab Rangoon's instead. I explained that it seemed unreasonable to offer me crab Rangoon's when he sent the wrong order. He then said that the best he could do was give us 25% off of our next order. I told him that, that was crazy considering I wasn't even asking for a refund for sending the wrong order just a credit to order the right thing. I don't even like their sweet and sour shrimp because it has too much breading and the shrimp are dry. I love their sweet and sour chicken. Anyway, I am over businesses taking advantage of customers. Walked in and ordered from the lunch menu in which they have a lunch special 11-3pm everyday. I had the Spicy Basil Shrimp and my girlfriend had teriyaki shrimp.
