Good food. We bought the luncheon meal. Good choice becsuse it comes with soup and fried chips. I wanted another bowl and it was good and hot! Moo gai pan was good with fried rice. The rice was soft and not hard, plus the food was hot. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

I have lived in the Austell Mableton area for many years and have to say that the green lotus is the best Chinese food around. I would say it has been a couple of decades. I have been eating food from the green lotus. I highly recommend. read more

Great food / soups and apps are great, nice team, super helpful and friendly!! Good prices and quick service too

Great food. Good prices. Eat here all the time. Best Chinese in Austell! If you are eating Chinese this is the place to go

The food is excellent! We eat here a lot. Great service! Great food! Great experience! Close to home.

Shrimp Lo mein is very good and flavorful--perfectly cooked noodles with plump shrimp and a savory sauce that hits just right. The lady at the front has great energy, greeting everyone with a warm smile that makes the whole dining experience feel welcoming and bright. read more

Meh - this was fine, but nothing to write home about; tastes like standard food court chinese food. Totally edible, but not something that I will return to after two attempts. The rice noodles had very little flavor and the hot & spicy fried rice was neither. Both soups were average, however the pot stickers got eaten quickly. There are better options in the area if you want to truly enjoy the food. read more

This spot is pretty good for quick Chinese take out. I enjoyed the shrimp fried rice and the general Tso's chicken. Overall it's not the most amazing Chinese food but way better than a lot of other takeout spots in Atlanta. So all in all if you're in the area and you're looking for some Chinese food. This is the spot. Not much better than this in the area. read more

I've been here before but it's been quite a while - over a decade at least. I was at the nail salon nearby (AZ Nails) and hadn't eaten in 24 hours thanks to getting off at 8am and getting up for doctor's appts at 2pm. Despite the heinous reviews - I decided to give them another try. I ordered the chicken lo mein and the pineapple chicken fried rice. I asked that they make the rice spicy. Customer Service The cashier was young'ish' - very monotone - and seemed pretty apathetic. Interior / exterior Too dark for me to see much of anything. This parking lot could definitely use more light but that's on their landlord, not them. Inside is dark and it's dine-in only now. Food When I arrived to pick up my food - we had a little bit of a discussion regarding pineapple chicken fried rice VERSUS pineapple fried rice. I asked for pineapple chicken fried rice but he claimed I said pineapple fried rice. Pineapple fried rice isn't even an option (on the paper menus or website) and he said he wanted to make sure I knew the rice contained chicken. Sigh. Here's my verdict. My rice was good - but there was very little chicken or pineapple in. At first - I thought they'd forgotten the pineapple but I realized that most of the chicken and pineapple was over in the far right quarter of the container. The lo mein was ok. I was thrilled to see that it wasn't swimming in oil. But once again - the chicken was really sparse. Value Because the protein portions are so small - this was not a good value. I used my chopsticks to pick the few meager chicken pieces from my lo mein then added them to my rice. So much for my plan to get eat the rice tonight and eat the lo mein tomorrow. I'll have to 'velvet' chicken tomorrow to add to my lo mein - either that or eat it as a side over the next few days. I didn't hate it - but there's nothing that stood out during my visit that would make me venture back in any time soon. read more

I was found the food nicely cooked, hot, and well-prepared. I stopped in yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner and called my order in for pick-up. They don't have Egg Foo Yung which was a slight disappointment but the Shrimp Friend Rice and Crab Rangoons were good. They, due to COVI-19, have a closed dining room but my food was delicious and was cooked to order. The shrimp were not overly cooked to having the consistently of chicken and the rangoons were savory and sweet. Give them a shot if you haven't already. I think you'll be pleased. read more

Wow... this place is a FIND. Appetizer shrimp egg roll- hand made and wrapped and fried right here. This is HUGE- it's a small meal in itself, and VERY tasty. Get two- you're done. Beef and rice noodles dish is enormous and also delicious. Not too salty and small chopped veg with a generous portion of beef. Well priced and quick service. the food is just ok but the highlight is the poor customer service. The person (male) that takes the orders is rude and lacks common sense with extremely poor communication skills. Don't patronize this restaurant that treats customers with blatant disrespect. also, check most recent health inspection from Oct 2023. Score is 70. read more

I had major chest pain after eating their food. I was also dehydrated. Not sure what they cook with but can't risk the health factor.

Food was good. This place definitely didn't give the vibe of wanting you to eat onsite. I wouldn't eat at the restaurant again. It was very warm in the restaurant. The guy taking orders was short. Not friendly, seemed to be doing other things rather than just working at the restaurant. But again the food was pretty good. I'd do take out if I was going to eat here again read more

I ordered shrimp rice noodles and they gave me chicken rice noodles. The person who took the order, prepared the order, AND rung up the order and it said shrimp rice noodles big as day. Also, they didn't give me any utensils and the customer service was not good. Very unfriendly. I will not be back. There is too much competition in the area to settle for this level of service or lack there of. read more

Love this restaurant! I usually get to-go, but I've also eaten in the restaurant a couple of times. The staff are very friendly, the prices are reasonable and I have not had any menu items that were not delicious! This is one of the best Asian restaurants around, in my opinion. read more

Not a fan of oriental food but the secszuan beef if awesome. Ordered delivery and got here quicker than they stated. Attempted to try this place out again, and for the last few days I've been wondering why I was feeling sick. This is not to bash the business, but to highlight what they didn't do which was not include any, not one onion in my food. The sad part is that I called in and specified absolutely no onion in any of my food. If you can't take the order and give customers what they request, why bother. WILL NOT BE EATING HERE AGAIN, nor will I allow the family What you see in the image is the 2 onions found after I've eaten the remainder. Positive they business will not acknowledge. read more

I got the hot and spicy triple. It contains chicken shrimp and beef onions zucchini and scallions and I also added broccoli. The spice level wasn't that bad and the flavor was ehhh. The portion is huge three or four people could eat off of it. I also got the appetizer sampler. It comes with two crab ragoons two butterfly shrimp two steam dumplings and two chicken wings. None of it was fresh you could tell that it has been pre-cooked and sitting. The rice was absolutely horrible no flavor whatsoever. Maybe I just came on a bad night but I will not be back. read more

The food we got here was good. I had General Tso Chicken and my wife the Sesame Chicken. Both of the dishes had good flavor and cooked well. The fried rice that came with the meal was really more of just a brown rice, not a typical fried rice you would expect. Did have a good flavor though. I also got a side of Egg Rolls, which were excellent. The portion sizes were large, and we will get an extra smaller meal out of each. I would definitely order from here again. read more

Do not over the shrimp fried rice, they only give you five shrimp and they are kind enough to lay them all on top. We order two orders of it and were surprised to see that in both orders. This is the best Chinese takeout in the area. The food is well made and well packaged. The food is well flavored. I haven't been disappointed in anything I've ordered. Customer service is very nice. For instance, I came in one day with my baby and his car seat. It was a hassle to carry him and my large order all back to the car. They helped me out the door and put the food in the car for me while I strapped my baby in. read more

I've been looking for a food Chinese food spot for years. Finally found! The shrimp fried rice is so flavorful (only missing the peas and carrots ;)). Egg roll and crab rangoons were fried just right to get that crunch. We both loved our entrees - shrimp Lomein and spicy basil chicken. You could taste the freshness. Glad I finally found my go to spot read more

Very good. Nice portion size. Ratio of protein to veggies a little inconsistent. Degree of spice in hot dishes is very inconsistent.

I will never order or come and support this business again. I've orders plenty of times from here and never had a problem until today. I tried placing an order and the guy that answered the phone straight up told me he wasn't going to take my order. Because stating to him "I never picked up my last order." I always pick up my orders this is ridiculous and I will not tolerate this type of establishment never. I do t recommend this place to any one especially with this type of attitude and service!!!! They deserve ZERO STARS!!!!!!! read more

For a few years my husband and I have supported Green Lotus and we have loved the food. It was consistent and tasty. There have been times where we have ordered things and the order wasn't quite correct or they would send food with no sauce or utensils but we kept patronizing them anyway because we liked the food so much. A few months ago we stopped ordering food by delivery because they made a rule that they wouldn't deliver if you didn't place an order over $40. What? Who places a $40+ delivery order on the regular for one person! Then we noticed some of the recipes varied from their original taste but the quality seemed to be good so we kept going. But tonight, tonight was the last straw. I placed an order for Shrimp Fried and General Tso Shrimp. I waited 45 minutes and just as promised the order arrived which we paid $24 plus a tip. Not too bad considering it was delivered but when I opened the bag there was no sauce, utensils or napkins. Then I opened the box to find sweet and sour shrimp instead of general tso's Shrimp. I called the restaurant and they guy that took my order said he ordered the wrong thing and that he would send the right thing. It was already 9 PM. I explained that we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes and asked if he could just credit our account so that the next time we ordered I could get what I ordered and not pay for the general tso's. He said that he would give us some free crab Rangoon's instead. I explained that it seemed unreasonable to offer me crab Rangoon's when he sent the wrong order. He then said that the best he could do was give us 25% off of our next order. I told him that, that was crazy considering I wasn't even asking for a refund for sending the wrong order just a credit to order the right thing. I don't even like their sweet and sour shrimp because it has too much breading and the shrimp are dry. I love their sweet and sour chicken. Anyway, I am over businesses taking advantage of customers. They have lost our business. Which is crazy seeing we order at least 3-4 times a month from them. read more

I ordered my standard Chicken Egg Foo Young and there was no Chicken in the dish. I have been a customer since 2015 so I simply thought the chef mixed up the order or forgot to put the chicken in the patties. Well, I returned my uneaten portion to show my dish was missing the chicken. The very rude clerk humiliated me, and picked thru the food and showed be a chunk of egg white and said it was chicken. Then he questioned my loyalty and said his records indicate that I had not been in the restaurant since 2020. Unbelievable. I supported this establishment during the pandemic and ordered take-out religiously. GREEN LOTUS does not deserve to be in our community. The clerk is a very rude man. He did not even try to remedy the problem. Check it out yourself. The clerk has always been Extremely rude, however I choose to ignore it because the food was decent, but now I'm DONE with GREEN LOTUS. read more

It has taken me YEARS to find decent Chinese in the metro area. I did find a spot in Sandy Springs but it was too pricey. Just riding along merrily through Cobb County and wha-la!
