Ive lived in the area for 10 years and never ordered food from here. I was talking to someone who use to live in the area and they mentioned driving 45 minutes since it was so good. So I knew we had to try it. Food was really good. It was fresh, it wasn't greasy, service was amazing. We went in and ordered take out and the wait wasn't too long. For the price it's not worth it. The cashier was nonchalant and unfriendly. The rice was unseasoned and dry. The chicken I got was drenched in sugar to the point where I broke out. Overall spent 28 dollars on rice and chicken. Won't be coming back here. Would rather visit Mr. Wonton on mars hill or pei wei at the nearby mall especially since they actually have combos and unbeaten prices from 11-14 for the meals which are very filling and flavorful. The best fresh Asia food in the area. The owner hand picks fresh vegetables daily from a farmers market. I usually order the same few items, I ordered the Thai Panang Curry for the first time and it was incredible. Great friendly service from a family owned business. Every dish is so good here! You can really tell they take time not to add too much salt or oil. I love Chinese food but it's hard to find a place where I don't feel icky afterwards. Everything I've had so far, from the sesame chicken, chicken & vegetable, sweet-and-sour chicken, and the Pad Thai is all excellent! Hubby & I love the fried rice and Mongolian chicken, too. Every meal always tastes fresh, hot, and isn't weighed down with unnecessary ingredients but still has such great flavor!! And it always makes me crave more. The prices are so reasonable for what you get. Even with the lunch specials we always seem to have enough for leftovers. The workers & owners are very sweet. They also have a great selection of healthy drinks that are hard to find elsewhere. As for the inside- not much in the way of ambience or a sit down area but we always get it to-go anyway. This could also have been a Covid adjustment as many small "pick up restaurants" haven't converted back to open seating. This place is delicious! Great food options for vegetarians. I can get anything and ask for tofu instead of meat. We normally order take out to pick up and by the time we arrive the food is ready. We've done a walk in order a few times and we never wait more than 20 minutes. Even when it's busy. The couple that owns the place is so nice and always remembers us. I was really hopeful for this place because of the reviews. I will say if you want a decent egg roll they have good ones. However, I ordered sesame chicken and anyone know it's suppose to be a dark sauce. This was just honey really. It was just honey. Made it super gross. The rice is also just lol boxed yellow rice. They literally gave me the same entree for two separate order of red and panang curry. When asked about the similarity in taste and veggies I was told the cooks know more about it and after a long debate there was no simple apology or intention to make it right. I have eaten in plenty of Thai restaurants and this is the first time I'm receiving such a response. I'm not sure if they understand the difference between the two or just was convincing me for a hidden issue they didn't want to surface.. Horrible service! They left out my fried rice and refused to refund me or make it right. They also left out orders that my parents placed a while ago. Food is nothing to brag about. $40 bucks for two entrees and a soup. For that price I expect all of my food to be in the bag. The owner is very sweet and she's hilarious. I dined in with the hubby. It is a quaint little place and very busy. The food wasn't bad, but nothing stood out to me. It was fresh. It is a small menu and there is plenty of spicy food for those who like it. There were a few people waiting for their food in the chairs near the front counter. There was someone cooking in the back. It's located in a small plaza in West Cobb. Parking is very scarce, but it was enough considering the other business establishments weren't opened. Hot Wok is a little, take-out only gem! Lani, the owner is a riot. She's very sweet, a lot of fun, and has a loud voice...LOL :D The food is sooooo good. We ate here years ago, and quite often, and for no reason, stopped going. Stupid on our part! So glad we started going again. The menu is small, but I think that's not a bad thing since everything is so fresh and flavorful. Garlic Dumplings. 6 yummy dumplings, stir fried with fresh garlic, on a bed of fresh spinach with julienne red and yellow pepper. Thai Spring Rolls are delish. We don't get them too often. We try not to eat deep fried food, but sometimes you just have to give in :) Tom Ka Soup...WOW! I never thought I'd like anything with coconut milk...always reminds me of a Pina Colada...lol :) TOTALLY different. The soup is so delicious. Has a bit of heat, fresh, quartered button mushrooms, and thinly slicked chicken breast. We find that we're craving the soup now :) Hot & Sour Soup. My husband loves it. He sneezed every time he eats it. It's quite tasty, but I prefer the Tom Ka soup. Spicy Vietnamese Noodles. You decide if you want chicken, beef, shrimp, or house. I like it with chicken and shrimp. The fresh basil in the dish makes it so savory and good. I ask for extra because i like it that much. The shrimp are ALWAYS cooked to perfection. NEVER overcooked, hard, or chewy. The chicken is always tender. The noodles are perfect. This dish is A LOT of food. Definitely enough for 2. If we have soup, or an appetizer, there is still some left over for the next day, which, in my opinion, is even better :) ^5 Pad Thai. Scrumptious. If you like something that's a little sweeter than the Spicy Vietnamese noodles, then this is for you. We get it with shrimp and chicken.
