The lady that's usually there to take my order is very polite and attentive. I really don't have much to say . The reason for this review is to explain my transaction experience. I paid with my debit card and noticed my full name on the receipt as I proceeded to sign the merchant's copy. This is bad , bad, bad!! It shows the last 4 numbers on my debit card and underneath the signature line is my full name . No way ! That gets a 1 star rating separate from my food and the customer service. If you read this before going you'll remember my review. I thought merchants stopped doing this decades ago . This is such an easy target for being an identity fraud victim . I know , because I was a victim this year ( 2023) and it doesn't feel good. People this really is my only qualm. Make sure you take your receipt and discard it properly. Rip it up ! The merchant may have a cope if the exact receipt, but at least yours isn't laying on the table or floating around outside in the ground . I left New York decades ago but never lost my taste for that good and cheap meal of Chinese Restaurant Fried Chicken Wings and Pork Fried Rice. Over the years of being here in Georgia, the restaurants I'd visited never matched what I had in New York. So much so, I just stopped ordering it. On a whim I decided to try China Wok on Jiles by Publix (even though it has a Baker Road address.) I order the wings with the pork fried rice (told them no peas, no carrots--don't even know how that started) and was pleasantly surprised at how close it came to how it's done in New York. It's much more pricier, which can be expected. I've been out of New York for a very long time. After years of not knowing where to go, I now have a 'go to' place for my New York wings and fried rice. I order from this place ALOT. I pretty much get the same thing every time. Tonight I ordered it, chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce, which has a slight spicy flavor to it. When I got home with the food and tasted it, it was a regular brown sauce. I called the restaurant and the cashier had me bring the food back and tasted it and said it was correct when I know for a fact it was not. The food tasted nothing like what I normally get. We have been going to this Chinese takeout for years and the owners are very nice. However its always a hit or miss. Well, today it was definitely a miss for us. The chicken wings were way too tiny and the mongolian chicken we got had way too many onions and very little chicken. The restaurant was empty and not as busy as it used to be on Friday evenings. The prices have increased by at least 30%. My thing is, if you are going to increase the prices, then make sure that the food quality is good. You will get much better and authentic chinese food at "Firestone Chinese Cuisine" in Kennesaw. Check them out and you will not be disappointed! read more

China Wok is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants you can find in Kennesaw. Their Roast Pork fried rice reminded me of childhood. They are open during COVID and have taken all the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. They have installed a plexiglass at the front counter and an intercom to communicate through. China Wok is located in a shopping center next to Publix so parking is not an issue. Definitely recommend and will continue going there for Chinese nights! read more

After eating here at-least 6-8 times, I can say the food is awesome and very consistent. The food isn't over salty or over sweet, the veggies are fresh. The boneless spare ribs our out of this world and the house fried rice is killer. I come here occasionally for a quick Chinese lunch break and am always relatively pleased. It is definitely not the best Chinese I've ever had, but it's not the worst either. It's A-OK. I've had the General Tso's Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, Hot and Sour Soup, Egg Drop Soup, fried rice, etc. All of it was fine and as expected from a cheap quick order Chinese restaurant. We come here every time you want inexpensive dinner. We call it "cheep Chinese". It's nothing to die for but it's yummy. My SO always gets sweet and sour. I bounce between that and sesame chicken. We get the small which is always plenty of food. Their spring rolls are also always very very tasty. So good I crave them quite often. We usually get out of there under 15 dollars. It's great. They have tables inside but it's primarily take out customers. They don't deliver which is a bummer but it's a great little place that always seems to have people coming in and out the door.
