Ordered the orange chicken and sweet and sour shrimp combination platters. Very large portions, definitely get your money's worth. The sweet and sour shrimp was good, no complaints. BUT the rice and the orange chicken was very bland, it did not have any flavor. I was very disappointed. The hot and sour soup was also very bland, not sour or spicy. Service was excellent, order was ready in less than 10 minutes. Very friendly, I was standing outside, cashier came to the door to let me know my order was ready. Ambience was nothing special. I'm not sure if they have dine-in anymore, but we have picked up takeout orders here for over 20 years and I don't think we have ever had a bad order. The food is always hot, ready as promised and much better than other Chinese restaurants in this area. The prices are reasonable and employees are easy to work with. I spent many months in several Asian countries, the fried rice is just as good, wings too and all the fried foods are the best in town. Egg rolls, crab rangoons and the soups are very good too. We plan to continue going to Lucky China about once a week. read more

Lucky China has become our go-to takeout Chinese restaurant. We like the General Tso's, egg rolls, and fried rice. They also offer Thai dishes, and we tried the drunken noodles. We weren't fans of them. The noodles were round and thin, unlike the flat noodles you'd typically see in the dish. We also didn't care for the flavors. Service also leaves a lot to be desired. My cashier was a young woman, who wasn't that friendly, and seemed really into her phone. She was quick and efficient with my order, so I guess I would characterize her overall demeanor as indifferent. Since this is a take-out spot, I didn't take the indifferent service to heart. Since the Chinese food offerings are good, we'll continue to return. read more

I recommend this place for take out. We recently stopped by for a late dinner and upon entering, we were greeted, but the server appeared surprised that we were eating in. When we went into the dining area, we understood why. I'm pretty sure no one has dined in here in a WHILE! Most of the tables were covered in take out menus and fried wonton bags. Take out containers and what not were stacked in corners. Two booth corners were obviously the booths occupied by their children. However, we were told to sit where we wanted (there were only 3 emptied out booths) so we did. I ordered a hot sour soup and a hot seafood. The hot sour soup was delicious. it is vegetarian for those interested. The hot seafood (a very spicy dish with scallops, imitation crab meat, shrimp, and veggies). It was VERY good. This is my favorite local Chinese spot in Kennesaw that I've found. We typically get rice, lo mein, chicken wings, chicken fingers and crab rangoon. It's enough for our family of 3 to eat and have some leftovers for the next day. Another great thing about this restaurant is that they have duck sauce! It's unusual to find places outside of the Northeast that have Chinese chicken fingers and duck sauce. Rice and lo mein are equally good but neither are great. This is our new go-to Chinese place here in Kennesaw. We have ordered several times and it has been very consistent in taste. The portions are very large. I can eat two meals off the the lunch takeaway and three times off dinner. Our favorite is definitely the Mongolian beef. It has a fire wok taste to it and a decent serving of beef to veggies. I also get wings here instead of any wing place. They are huge and are $5.50 for 8. Worth recommending. The only thing is when they get busy they get a bit flustered and I ordered online once and it didn't go through, so now we just call or go by. The place is also a little dingy, but we don't eat in so we are happy to come back. read more

We've ordered from here a couple times and it was good. But the order we just got was far from perfect. The delivery Tonight was very fast which was great but their food definitely suffered because of it. 1.) their pad Thai was insanely spicy. I couldn't eat it but my husband did. He loves spicy and even said it was hot. I'm used to savory pad Thai that the hot needs to be requested. But maybe that ones my bad. 2.) we asked for our sesame chicken to be well done but that note was missed. 3.) while eating I chomped on something hard. Assumed it was gristle. Pulled it out and it was A STAPLE. In my food. We verified that all staples were accounted for on the bag and the food containers were sealed. Where do I even start? I tried the chicken lo mein and was greeted by the slimy, off-tasting spaghetti noodles and the chewy vegetables. Everything was in a weird greasy soy type sauce and it was far too salty. Now the chicken....the chicken. It felt like chewing on a bouncy ball it was so rubbery. Other than the fact that it tasted reheated, the chicken was otherwise flavorless. The meal also came with an egg roll that looked and tasted like the ones you can buy frozen from Walmart. Not impressed with the food. Then the inside of the place just feels stuffy and old, and the chairs in front are sticky if you touch them. Ew! I don't want to imagine what the tables feel like. Due the gross food, nasty interior, and loud Chinese screaming coming from the kitchen, I can't see myself coming back here. Very unprofessional,I thought about just set up walk out but I decided to wait for my food. So they brought me the food and the chicken didn't look like chicken,it looked more like peace's of sponge,I took a bite then trow it right out in the napkin. It tasted horrible to the point that I was burping the smell of one bite for hours. So gross. This was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever attempted to eat. Ordered Sept.25th at 4:02. My wife has a chicken based meal. Basic at best. However, my meal was horrible. Hot and sour soup had little to no flavor. The real kicker, and I hope what part I tried to eat doesn't make me sick, was my sweet and sour shrimp. It came with only steamed rice and strange shrimp shaped fried things that resembled doughnuts. No veggies or anything else. Just a cup of the orange sauce. I broke open one of the fried pieces to find that anything that resembled shrimp only made up about 1/4th of the fried thing. It was mostly all breading and the "shrimp" parts were much like they had just trimmed the tail end of a shrimp and left the vein across the back. They went to a lot of trouble shaping the things to look like shrimp. But, this overcooked dried up piece of shrimp scrap was the same in every piece. I'm guessing they used the larger portion of shrimp in dishes that had a more visual shrimp. These fried shapes were dripping with oil as were the two small eggrolls. Everything was oil soaked and had horrible flavors. The star rating on their grub hub site is clearly manipulated. I never really do reviews unless it's to talk about great food. But, do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague!!!!!! read more

This is one of the best takeout restaurants for Chinese in the area! I usually get the house friend rice which includes shrimp, beef, and pork. Then I also order some of their house sauce and make it spicy to throw on top. It's some of the best Chinese delivery food in the area. I usually do take-out, but the atmosphere is nothing to be surprised about, nothing upsetting though either though. The staff members are extremely nice, they'll cater to whatever you need, and will even add extra food or change something on an menu item if you want. Bottom line, if you want takeout Chinese food, this is the place to go; if you're looking for authentic, this is more so the American version of Chinese food. read more
