My friends and I went to this restaurant and I was pleased. The dining room was quiet and the ambience quiet. Service was good. We had a variety of food. Tofu, potstickers , egg drop soup and a chicken dish and a shrimp dish.. we will go back but I would not do mushrooms with my entree. Ordered from this place at the recommendation of people that live in the area. Menu doesn't match what's on website which caused for confusion when trying to place a large order. I was told the order would be ready in 25 minutes. I showed up 35 minuets later and my order still wasn't ready. The younger gentleman working the counter was very curt. I'm pretty sure this was the same person who took my order. I went back to the car and came back about 15 minutes later. Of course I checked the bags and some of my wings were missing. The gentle told the chef I was missing wings and the chef came huffing and puffing out to verify what I said. He proceeded to open all my boxes without gloves on his hands. We recently went there on a Saturday night, arriving around seven, and they were not that many people in the restaurant. There was one table waiting to be bussed, and we waited while they wiped down our chosen booth. We started with potstickers. There were six on the platter and it came with the usual sauce. They were cooked well, but the sauce could probably have used a little more sesame oil. Two of us ordered combo meals, which come with soup, egg roll, and rice. My wife ordered mu shu pork, which also comes with rice. My youngest ordered the kid's sweet and sour chicken, and (you guessed it) fried rice. The plates were served at different times- first the kids meal, then 4 minutes later the mu shu pork (already wrapped and presented nicely), and 4 minutes after that, the rest of the food. Everything was very tasty, save the sauce for the potstickers. There was more than enough food- only my youngest came close to finishing the meal. All tallied up it was $40.54 before tip. My only advice to the owner would be to clean the tables a bit faster, and serve everyone at the same time. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend this place! read more

They are my favorite Chinese take out food in the area. They also have dine in service that we never use. We try all of the asian restaurants we can. The spring rolls at China Moon have fresh vegetables in them. Other restaurants in the surrounding area have mushy filling. I gave them a 4 star only because we have eaten at upscale asian restaurants with an exceptional menu and fresh ingredients so I reserve my 5 star reviews for them but they are also much pricier. For this type of restaurant they are great. And their spring rolls and chicken broth soup are superior than those from any other restaurant without the high prices of other places. Updating my review after a negative experience. Food is always good here but I haven't been back in multiple years. We live right next to Hong Kong Star so we use them (food is better there too). Hong Kong Star was closed on Tuesday due to covid so we thought we'd give China Moon another go. Ordered the food and was told that they were busy so delivery would be 45-50 minutes. It's now been 1hr 20 minutes and no food. I called and they said, "sorry, we are busy. Your food is about to leave the restaurant." I live almost 20 minutes away. That means my quoted time of 45-50 minutes will actually be almost 2 hours. No apologies. No offer to refund my appetizers or give a free desert. Yeah, I probably will just stick with Hong Kong Star!!! read more
