Came for dinner on a weekday! We were seating very quickly. Upon walking in, there are lots of Korean ingredients along the wall which was cool. There was paid lot parking but did not see any free parking spots. Our server was friendly and we ordered a seafood pancake, chicken kalguksu and tofu soup. There was also a selection on banchan given. The banchan was okay. I would say the pancake was very thick and crispy! But there was not a lot seafood inside and it was $17 for four pieces! Way way overpriced in my opinion. The kalguksu was salty and not soupy! It was very thick. It seemed like the noodles weren't washed properly and it had a flour coating on it. The tofu soup was also very thick! Not soupy/brothy. Overall I think this is decent Korean food in Marietta but the prices were on the steeper end.

Had high expectation as i love Heirloom BBQ and Spring received Michelin but this is a miss for me. Food looks very traditional Korean but flavor is odd and ingredients were lacking. None of the sides were good, egg souffle was salty, and sundubu barely had any tofu. Only dish that I liked out of all the dishes ordered was the kalguksu but nothing outstanding that I would go back. I can see that the target market are people that are looking for Korean food in Marrietta as it is scarce.

Upon eating at the restaurant itself, my opinion of Spring 2nd Branch had only skyrocketed. Niya was an incredibly knowledgeable, sweet waitress who gave her genuine preferences when we asked what we should order. The vibes are really fun inside, especially for having just opened recently. This food is simply next level. The imported rice wine from Doraville is heavenly, and we were genuinely delighted at the quality of the imported drink options. But yall.... This place is EXPENSIVE. Be careful to tactfully share (as many of their menu items are meant for) or to go only for special cravings and occasions. My only gripe is that the table we were at was WAY too small for the quantity of people and the style of food here at Spring 2nd Branch. We all felt like we couldn't move, or we'd knock something over! lol. OH, YES- and my small secondary gripe continues- something about the way they prepare their green onions for stews makes them incredibly hard and chewy/inedible. These are very small issues comparatively though.

I'd been hearing great things about Spring 2nd Branch, so my partner and I stopped by on Saturday. The staff was friendly and seated us toward the center of the spacious dining room. The space isn't filled with traditional Korean décor. Instead, it has a humble, modern, almost minimal vibe. We ordered Haemul Pajeon ($17.99) for our appetizer. My main entree was the Jeyuk Bokkeum ($25.99), and my partner chose the Seolleongtang ($18.99). The Jeyuk Bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork with lettuce wraps) was one of the better versions I've had in Atlanta. The sauce had great flavor (but it wasn't spicy), the pork was tender, and the fresh lettuce came with jalapeño and garlic slices that made each wrap taste delicious! I do wish the pork was coated in a spicier sauce though. The Seolleongtang (a milky ox-bone broth with somyeon noodles and beef) was creamy and comforting, with tender pieces of brisket and shank. The Haemul Pajeon (a seafood and veggie pancake) arrived when we were almost done with our main entrees, which we didn't mind. It was much thicker than other pajeons we've tried and packed with vegetables. The edges had a nice crunch. The dipping sauce was too salty, so we mostly enjoyed the pancake on its own. Overall, we liked Spring 2nd Branch. The prices are on par with the Korean restaurants in Duluth. Even though it's a bit of a drive for us, we'd consider coming back and trying more dishes the next time we're in Marietta.

I was craving Soon Dubu on a rainy day & couldn't be more satisfied. We got Chives pancake, Dubu bibimbap & Soon Dubu w/ mushrooms. Everything including the banchan was delicious.

Kimchi, beef and pork dumplings. Well made but the kimchi took over so I didn't really taste the meet at all.

Great customer service, food was interesting and delicious, it was a nice chill vibe. I would come again. 3 minute walk to Marietta square.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at Spring 2nd Branch! My husband and I have gone to the OG Spring , though not necessarily Korean food, but I was excited to have known that the chef opened a Korean spot. Walking thru the restaurant, it already gave such a vibe and added a cool spot for great food and drinks at the Square. I loved the decor and of course, have to have K-pop playing in the background. The hostess who sat us at our table asked if it was our first time dining there and explained the menu a little bit. It did take awhile for our actual server to come, and he again explained the menu to us, even though we were ready to order by the time he got there. For appetizer, we started with the buchujeon (chive pancake with veggies). This was a smaller, but thick pancake served with a really tasty soy dipping sauce. It was filled with chives and veggies - not sure exactly what the veggies were but there was definitely broccoli in the mix. For my entree, I ordered the Sogal Tteok Kimchi Mandu Guk (beef, pork and kimchi dumplings and rice cakes served in white ox bone broth). The broth was very, very rich and the beefy flavor from the ox was prominent. The kimchi juice from the dumplings helped balance out the broth flavor. I did not see any rice cakes in my soup though, which I was quite disappointed about because I love rice cakes. My soup also came with banchan, but I had to ask for it, instead of them bringing it automatically. My husband ordered the Bibim Naengmyeon (Cold buckwheat noodles served in a spicy fermented chili paste sauce and garnished with beef brisket & shank, Korean pear, cucumber, daikon pickle and hard boiled egg). The server asked if he wanted the noodles cut and while she did cut the noodles, we wished it was cut more since buckwheat noodles are really chewy. He did like his meal and everything was really good. We would come back here and try their other dishes!

Instead of a simple hello or being asked how many were in our party, the first thing we heard was, "Can I help you?" It felt off and honestly made me uncomfortable, like we didn't belong. We had driven an hour, and it was my fiancé's birthday, so I chose to shake it off and not let it set the tone. We ordered the Seacuterie Board and the Crab Cocktail, and both were really good. The seafood was super fresh and flavorful, and the vegetables were crisp. Our favorite Seacuterie items were the smoked trout spread, mussels, and smoked salmon. I was pleasantly surprised by the pickled figs. I'd never had them before, but they're now one of my favorites. They add the perfect balance of texture and saltiness to each bite. The tuna was our least favorite. It was pretty much flavorless compared to everything else. Overall, it was a good experience, aside from the awkward start.

We ordered two appetizers, including the shrimp and crab fondue, and my son found a bug in the fondue. At that point, we immediately stopped eating. The manager came over, apologized, and said she would have another one prepared which we appreciated but we weren't sure if we even wanted it. We had to make a fast decision if we would leave or stay, but since it was Friday We honestly considered leaving, but we were starving and didn't feel like going somewhere else, so we stayed. However, after that, we were really surprised that there was very little follow-up from the manager, no effort from management the attempt to recover the experience. Our server, Skye, was very apologetic and did what she could, but overall the customer service from management was extremely disappointing. At Pappadeaux's price point, finding a bug in your food is already unacceptable, but the lack of proper service recovery made it worse. This should have been handled very differently, and quite frankly, the entire meal should have been compensated. What happened to making sure guests actually have a good dining experience? We chose not to escalate things in the moment, but I can say confidently that I will not be returning to this location. I would strongly encourage others to double-check their food.

Due to the openness of the dining room, it is on the louder side making it difficult to talk with folks not sitting directly next to order across from one another. Service was very good, attentive, and frirfriendly. My wife and I both had ceasar salad, filet medium rare, and strawberry topped cheesecake. For sides we had asparagus and mashed potatoes. The sides wete quite good, the best part of our meals. The salad was okay though the dressing was on the more bland side and fresh ground pepper helped its flavor profile quite a bit. For a restaurant calling itself a "chophouse" and supposedly upscale, you would think they would know how to cook a steak or use a better quality steak. Our filets were cooked to proper temperature but lacked any taste of salt or seasoning and lacked any searing on the outside. The meat was chewy rather than tender and made us wonder "what's so special about this place" where parking availability is also a challenge!? So you would think dessert would be hard to mess up, but our cheesecake was nothing special at all. We've had better tasting Sara Lee cheesecake from the supermarket; definitely below expectation. We'll consider giving it another try, but at their prices there are so many other tried and true steakhouse we much prefer.

Over the bar was a large screen TV showing beautiful scenes of Italy, with contemporary Italian pop playing in the background. I started with the soup of the day, which was lobster bisque that was so full of lobster that I would call it a stew versus a soup. The complimentary bread was slightly toasted and topped with aromatic herbs that paired perfectly with the olive oil with which it was served. My entree was a special, and was the short rib. There was nothing "short" about it as the huge beef rib had a bone that overhung the plate that a caveman would be proud to own. The beef was fork tender and the steak knife provided with it wasn't necessary. It was paired with a delicious and sweet wine sauce. And the side was tender gnocchi (al tartufo) in a rich and creamy sauce flavored with truffle. It was chilly went we visited, but on a nice day, the patio would be nice too. We ordered and were not in any kind of hurry. Probably a good thing, since the kitchen seemed to be very backed up and the food came out very slowly. The servers also seemed to be a little overwhelmed, so I'm wondering if the crowd was heavier than expected. Please don't take this as complaint - the service staff were very friendly and did their best to keep diners smiling. Unfortunately - the food was a little underwhelming. We ordered calamari - it was slightly over cooked and chewy. For dinner, we had the gnocchi and chicken saltimbocca. The safe in the chicken dish was overpowering (I ended up having to scrape it off) and the chicken was overcooked. It says a lot that my favorite thing on the plate was the sautéed spinach (which was delicious!). I really, really wanted to love this place, but I'm not sure I would visit again. There are too many places in this area that have much better food for the same price point.
