I can't believe I haven't tried it before all I can say is that the Tom Yum soup with shrimp the broth is the best I've ever had and the shrimps were huge. So flavorful and amazing. The roti was to die for I wish there was another piece. That's the only critique the red curry with beef was delicious and then to wash it all down with the mango sticky rice with the pandan leaf that made it green. Just pièce de résistance! First of all, the food was absolutely amazing!! However, the service was very slow and the hostess/waitress was unfriendly and seemed annoyed when we said we were dining in. From the moment we walked in, the experience was great. We were greeted and seated immediately and the server also asked if she could get us anything as soon as we sat. We ordered the drunken noodles, the yellow curry with rice and the green curry. We also ordered the spring rolls appetizer. The spring rolls had a very fresh flavor to them, the drunken noodles were very good and the green curry was delicious, but the best out of the 3 that we ate was definitely the yellow curry. Thank you for not holding back as the heat was just right. The color was more of a yellow than I was expecting, but I know spice amounts will vary and could cause this. This place was a roller coaster of experiences. When we were first seated we were the only ones in the restaurant. Within 20 minutes this place was packed. It left the one person on the floor in the weeds. Getting a water refill took a bit and the food was packing some heat. The spring rolls were fresh, tasty, and came with a great flavored dipping sauce. The mint was fresh and gave it a nice flavor. The crab Rangoons were ok but overpriced. The dipping sauce for those were sweet. The larb was fantastic! It was some of the best I have had in a long time. It was well seasoned and dressed perfectly. The cabbage was fresh. The weirdest part of the meal was the entree. It was really spicy and bland at the same time. So strange. It was like that in both of our dishes. Not a huge portion but good enough. I have lived in East Cobb Marietta for 4 years and this place is by far the best Thai food in my little area. I order it almost every week. Everything I have ordered from here has been delicious. They're getting 4 stars because for a family of 6 it's a little pricey but worth it I think. The staff is friendly and patient with everyone who dines in. The take out process is easy to navigate as you can call to place your order. Online ordering isn't the best as I feel the whole menu isn't represented. I thought the food was absolutely fantastic and wonderful. I got curry soup with noodles and it's one of the most delicious and rich curries I've ever had. It's very authentic. It's not often you see restaurants put something like lettuce in a soup, but that is authentic and I think it provides a very wonderful crunch to a very soft dish. I loved it and loved the texture. Curry itself was rich and silky. The noodles were wonderful and the flavor was just out of this world. The restaurant itself is pretty good. It's not very big and the lady's there didn't speak great English but they were very nice and they were very on top of everything. Also, I think the prices are fantastic and still only a little over $10 for lunch, for how wonderful it is, how filling it was, you almost can't find that anymore. My curry was properly spiced and flavorful, and my wife's order of prik king was also very good, maybe a little hotter than she expected (but still delicious). The papaya salad was wonderful and the tom kha was also very good -- I'm gonna rant a little about the tom kha because it's my favorite soup and I order it at every Thai place I visit. This place had a great blend of sweet (from the coconut milk) and the sour (lemongrass). The mushrooms were a little plain, could have been from a jar of sliced veg, but inoffensive. I think I've ordered from Red Curry the past two Fridays. Updated review. Went in today and they charged me $2 for extra limes and scallions. I told her that I have never been charged so what was that fee for. She said veggies are more expensive. Only veggies in this pad thai are green onions which are .79 a bunch. My chopsticks skills aren't good enough to pick up saucy one inch slivers of noodle lolol. Tried it w a fork and it was annoying too. Personally, I dont like to eat noodles w a spoon (texture.. the way the food hits my tongue. Idk I'm lowkey crazy) but I had to bc otherwise I'd be eating one tiny pc of noodle for every bite and I was hungry. Ok tangent/rant over. I live close by and I didn't know about this place. It will be out for-sure close by this food place whenever we get that familiar craving. A lot on the menu is spicy so maybe not the best for kids but the pad Thai was not to spicy for the little one. We also got some 2 kinds of spring rolls, a papaya salad, a green curry and a pad Thai. It only came to about 65 dollars (before tip) so I think it is a pretty reasonable price too. Good food and not to expensive. Sounds good to me!!! read more

We've lived in the area for years and have always said we should try it - we finally did last night with some friends visiting from out of town...so glad we went! First the space is really clean and decorated nicely...I loved the center lighting piece! We were greeted by our server quickly - she was so friendly and offered up some helpful suggestions as we looked over the menu. She asked what we liked and made suggestions off that. The food was terrific - we started with roti bread and golden crabs....the crab bites were delicious - nicely browned pastry stuffed with cream cheese and crab meat...yum! We all tried different main dishes including the red curry and drunken noodles. The heat in the dishes was perfect - just enough to satisfy but not overwhelm...the veggies in all our dishes were very fresh tasting. Level 3 is HOTTTTTTTTTT!! I thought as a Caribbean woman I could handle it, but no indeed!! Despite the self selected heat level, I think I've found a new takeout place to add to the rotation. I tried the Thai basil fried rice with tofu and the soft shell curry crab. Both dishes did not miss on flavor, however the soft shell curry crab left much to be desired in the protein department. You get one nice size soft shell crab and a ton of curry sauce. Ths works well as an appetizer, but as a main.....ehhhh, not so much. I wished I'd gotten a different protein so it was more substantial. The Thai basil fried rice was wok fried to perfection. Lots of smoky flavor, basil, fresh veggies, eggs, and a good amount of tofu. I recommend both dishes, but just know the softshell crab dish may need to accompany something else. I don't know how to gauge spice level other than to try it and find out, but I would tread lightly next time...maybe go up to a 2. I look forward to dining here again! read more

Came here tonight for dinner based solely on ratings and reviews since I'm not from the area and was craving Thai food. All in all I was a bit disappointed and really don't see how this place has a 4.5 star rating?? I was one of two parties and a total of three people were there to eat. The service was sub par in my opinion considering the place was nearly empty and my server rarely came over to see if I needed anything. They did have about 6 people come in for to-go orders while I was there, however there seemed to be another person taking care of those so there's no reason my server should have been so absent other than lack of customer care. If it was just the lack of service I'd probably have given another star, but one of the dishes I ordered wasn't very good as well. I ordered a lot of food for one person hoping to take some back to my hotel for a later meal. I started with the fresh basil rolls and a small bowl of Tom Kha soup. The basil rolls were okay and decent more or less. They seemed a bit small comparing them to the plethora of Thai restaurants I've visited over the years. The soup was lacking a bit and consisted of coconut milk base with chicken, mushroom and green onions. Needed tomato and yellow onion to round out the flavors. For the main dishes I ordered Yellow Curry with chicken as well as Pad Thai with tofu. The curry dish was the biggest issue and main reason for only two stars. This is one of my favorite Thai dishes and it was very bland overall and the potatoes were not fully cooked which totally ruined the dish. The light at the end of the tunnel that saved this place from a one star rating from me was the Pad Thai. This was actually very good and had great flavor so I ate what I could of the curry and saved the majority of the Pad Thai to bring back for leftovers. Unfortunately, first impressions are hard to forget and I doubt I'll try this place again next time I'm in town. read more

Two of us dined at Red Curry last night and can offer a mixed review. My seafood curry dish was good, but the Papaya Salad contained no papaya. The issue which made dining annoying was that the wait staff was overly aggressive in busing the table. Although we only spent 30 minutes at our table, they repeatedly removed items from the table before we were ready for the dishes to be removed. I had to decline to allow them to pick up the water glasses when they reached for them before we were done. When I challenged them on taking the water glass, the lady in broken english described that they wanted to collect all items to be washed so they could run a load of dishes. We were not the last people in the restaurant with a large table of a dozen people on the other side of the little restaurant. My advice is "chill', allow us to enjoy our dinner and quit hurrying us. read more

This place is totally yum! I recommend trying their crab curry, and everything else we ordered was delicious too- green curry and drunken noodles. The crab is soft shelled and deep fried, sitting on top of a bed of vegetable curry. This was my first time trying this dish and I'm so glad I did.
