Green curry with steamed tofu, side of steamed veggies
    Rebecca R.

Solid first experience. Thai is my go-to and Atlanta (and the surrounding area) doesn't disappoint. I ordered the green curry (level 3.5 out of 5 for spice). Thank you for not holding back as the heat was just right. The color was more of a yellow than I was expecting, but I know spice amounts will vary and could cause this. I ordered extra veggies on the side because they sometimes skimp, but that was not an issue here. I think the portion was great for the price. I'll be back.

Decided to give this place a try because lemon grass was closed for the holiday weekend. We weren't too impressed with the food. It was just standard Thai with not very much pizzazz. The pricing on the menus is out of date so don't be surprised if your bill turns out to be higher than you expected. I think there should be some modification to the menu or at least some communication to customers. I did like the ambience of the restaurant, so it would be a good spot for a date night.

This place was a roller coaster of experiences. When we were first seated we were the only ones in the restaurant. Within 20 minutes this place was packed. It left the one person on the floor in the weeds. Getting a water refill took a bit and the food was packing some heat. The spring rolls were fresh, tasty, and came with a great flavored dipping sauce. The mint was fresh and gave it a nice flavor. The crab Rangoons were ok but overpriced. The dipping sauce for those were sweet. The larb was fantastic! It was some of the best I have had in a long time. It was well seasoned and dressed perfectly. The cabbage was fresh. The weirdest part of the meal was the entree. It was really spicy and bland at the same time. So strange. It was like that in both of our dishes. Not a huge portion but good enough. If I came back I would likely try something else and definitely more of that larb

I have lived in East Cobb Marietta for 4 years and this place is by far the best Thai food in my little area. I order it almost every week. Everything I have ordered from here has been delicious. They're getting 4 stars because for a family of 6 it's a little pricey but worth it I think. The staff is friendly and patient with everyone who dines in. The take out process is easy to navigate as you can call to place your order. Online ordering isn't the best as I feel the whole menu isn't represented. The Thom Ka is awesome, basil shrimp spring rolls are delicious..and the pineapple fried rice is fantastic. Give them a try if you're in the area!

I thought the food was absolutely fantastic and wonderful. I got curry soup with noodles and it's one of the most delicious and rich curries I've ever had. It's very authentic. It's not often you see restaurants put something like lettuce in a soup, but that is authentic and I think it provides a very wonderful crunch to a very soft dish. I loved it and loved the texture. Curry itself was rich and silky. The noodles were wonderful and the flavor was just out of this world. The restaurant itself is pretty good. It's not very big and the lady's there didn't speak great English but they were very nice and they were very on top of everything. Also, I think the prices are fantastic and still only a little over $10 for lunch, for how wonderful it is, how filling it was, you almost can't find that anymore. I think it's some of the most wonderful food and one of the best values in the area. I'm definitely coming back a lot

Food was great! Tasted like very fresh ingredients. I loved the curry puff and Thai tea.

Food and service was great! It tasted like all fresh ingredients. I would recommend for a date night. We loved the Curry puff, drunken noodles with chicken , Thai tea and the chicken curry noodles.

My new favorite Thai place !!! Like I said before East Cobb is where it's at when it comes to food. I stumbled across the restaurant on Yelp snd after reading the reviews I had to try it. I think I've ordered from Red Curry the past two Fridays. I can't promise you , I won't be ordering from them again this Friday Lolol Any who, I've tried several items from their menu and believe it or not I was able to take a picture before I devoured evening. The food is really good. Friday are a little busy so I would suggest calling your food in if you plan on picking it up. The venue itself is one the smaller side but nice decor and nice ambience. Here are the must try': Golden Crabs Crispy spring rolls Pot stickers Garden delight stir fry Broccoli chicken stir fry

I'd come back if to satisfy a late night craving but if a friend asked to eat thai, I prob wouldn't rec this place.. fast, good service. E X P E R I E N C E Went to pick up for take out. The restaurant is v small. There were only 4-5 tables for dine in. Employees were wearing masks, no gloves. Hand sanitizer was available. Dine in guests were not wearing masks as they were eating (but didn't put back on after not eating, and just chatting). Masks are required for entry. Service was fast. Order was ready after 30 mins. Employee was polite and quick. F O O D tom yum 9.50 lg - had a ton of mushrooms and 5 pcs shrimp. Hot, sour and a hint of heat. Yum! Wish there was more variety in the soup. Pad see u 10.95 chicken - chicken was plentiful. adequately flavorful. but it was super annoying that the noodles were cut up into such tiny pcs. Not one noodle was longer than an inch. My chopsticks skills aren't good enough to pick up saucy one inch slivers of noodle lolol. Tried it w a fork and it was annoying too. Personally, I dont like to eat noodles w a spoon (texture.. the way the food hits my tongue. Idk I'm lowkey crazy) but I had to bc otherwise I'd be eating one tiny pc of noodle for every bite and I was hungry. Ok tangent/rant over. Duck curry 19.95 - curry sauce had a little heat, v flavorful. rice included. The duck wasn't cooked well, dry. Not the best I've had but good enough to satisfy a craving! (PS sorry for the shxt instagrammy pics lol we were hungry) P R I C E 42+ TIP

I live close by and I didn't know about this place. It will be out for-sure close by this food place whenever we get that familiar craving. A lot on the menu is spicy so maybe not the best for kids but the pad Thai was not to spicy for the little one. We also got some 2 kinds of spring rolls, a papaya salad, a green curry and a pad Thai. It only came to about 65 dollars (before tip) so I think it is a pretty reasonable price too. Good food and not to expensive. Sounds good to me!!!

The location is in a decent enough spot, but I'd definitely recommend locking your car doors just to be safe. The restaurant is pretty small inside, so I went with a pickup order instead. The food was made with fresh ingredients, and the chicken fried rice was solid -- nothing mind-blowing, but a good baseline Thai-style version. The portions were average, and the spring rolls were decent too. Price-wise, it was pretty standard -- not too expensive, not a steal either. Overall, it was exactly what I ordered and expected. Would I go back? Probably if there weren't better options nearby. I did try a couple other Thai spots in the area that gave bigger portions, better value, and noticeably tastier food. But if Wimal is your most convenient choice, it'll get the job done.

My parents both got spicy noodles, one with tofu and one chicken, and with different spice levels. They both enjoyed their dishes and had leftovers for another meal. Today my wife and I were intentionally seeking out something spectacular. I found Soi 3 Thai Street Food here on Yelp (as one should do) and I felt good about what I saw, from the menu, to the pics, to the reviews. My god I'm glad we turned off of the main drag and came here. We were greeted and seated right away. We came a little early and it was not too busy. Service wise, our experience started off REALLY well. Our server was Tarik. This place better hang on to this guy. When I say it was the best service in 5 years in any restaurant I've eaten in lately, I am not exaggerating. We let him know that this was our first time in and asked for recommendations. He went through each of the sections with us and highlighted a few. He really knows the menu and that's increasingly rare these days in most restaurants. I landed on the Gai Yang Chicken which was a quarter chicken with both white and dark meat. This had the smokiest, garlicky flavor that I will dream about. It came with lettuce wraps, carrot sticks and the most amazing Nam Jim Jeaw sauce which was unreal. Fish sauce and fresh herbs and scallions. How could you go wrong? Tangy, herbaceous, a little sweet and salty. Pro move suggested by Tarik: Make lettuce wraps with what you get and dip it in the sauce. My wife had the Gaeng Massaman Gai. Hands down some of the best Massaman curry I have ever had anywhere. It was more brothy (is that a word?) than I've had, but a lot of times when you order this dish, the potatoes make it super thick. This was lighter with fresh potatoes and pearl onions that were sweet from the sauce, almost like grapes oddly enough. Really loved the textures of this dish. We had purple Jasmine rice which was excellent. The only slightly disappointing dish we had was our dumpling appetizer. Not a lot of flavor there and I would have loved a little heat in the sauce or the dumplings. Really not bad but I would have skipped that. The restaurant had a very nice vibe. The lighting was perfect for pics and ambience. Looked like it had a well stocked bar and many selections from wine to beer and cocktails. I absolutely loved this place and our experience and service was 10 stars! Will definitely ask for Tarik each time and we will be back. Run to this restaurant!

I really don't know what happened here …read more.. Against our better judgement, a friend and I chose this place as a back-up option since our first choice was closing for lunch orders. Admittedly, I was skeptical when I saw the limited menu and some of the options (I LOVE Thai food and have had variations in many parts of the world). BUT I was encouraged to know there were at least two vegan entree options on the menu. No. Never again. Not at all. The spring rolls were the most minuscule versions I've ever had. The casing was weird, to say the least, and the flavor was barely there. We ordered a broccoli entree to share. Check out the photos for yourself. WHERE IS THE BROCCOLI?!? My friend's meal was BLAND. My meal was better but the peppers were almost raw. The BEST thing we had was the roti. ROTI. At a Thai restaurant. The absolute best thing on the menu was roti?! No meatless curry options with ample veggies. Not one rice dish, served with veggies. Lots of chicken ‍. Lots of fish oil ‍. Roti was the best thing we ate. And don't even bother with the purple rice. Absolutely disappointed. The server was kind although our 2nd order of roti went to the wrong table - they gladly accepted it with no questions asked - because she was conducting what looked like an interview in between checking on our table. If you've read my reviews you know anything less than 4-5 stars is RARE. I honestly don't understand what happened during my experience at this restaurant but definitely will not be returning.

You know the type -- pretty basic, nothing above average, real safe and generic. That's usually why I end up sticking to my regular Thai spot when I'm out of town, but I figured I'd give Tubtim Siam a try before my trip wrapped up. I actually saw the place a couple days earlier but they close kinda early, so I missed it the first time. Luckily I was able to catch them right in time this night, and let me tell you -- they did not disappoint at all. It sits in one of those strip mall locations that looks a little sketchy from the outside, but once you're in, it feels safe enough. The actual restaurant is real modest -- nothing too fancy, just a chill vibe with a couple families and other people sitting in eating and enjoying their meals while we placed our order. I went with takeout: chicken fried rice and some chicken wings to take back to the room. Baby, when that fried rice came out... the portion was huge, like they weren't playing around at all. And the flavor? Whew -- it was immaculate. Not only the best Thai fried rice in this city, but easily one of the best I've had in a long time. Perfectly seasoned, loaded with all the right stuff, and it actually tasted like real homemade Thai food. The chicken wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with good flavor too. For the price, both items gave way more than what I was expecting. Everything was on point. This spot really came through and saved my whole week of eating out. No cap -- I'm giving them a solid 5 stars. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely making my way back to Tubtim Siam again.
