Makhmali Malai Kofta Chaska Paneer Masala

We just figured out that our favorite Indian restaurant rebranded and opened a new location next-door! We had the best time and enjoyed the best food. We got the Malai Kofta (which was amazing) and the Chaska Paneer, which was so rich and flavorful. The Malai Kofta was slightly spicy and perfectly smooth. We also got the Samosa plate to start off which had the most crispy pastry. The ambiance is so relaxing with beautiful florals and a pink and green theme, and expert decor. The service is just as great as it was in their past restaurant.

Food was delicious! Ambiance was pretty and spacious too. Would love to come back to try more dishes. All the dishes we ordered were really tasty@

Ambience is nice and good for celebrations! Definitely Instagram-worthy. The food was just ok. Some of the flavors just weren't what I expected from the dishes I ordered. I ordered the aloo chat, Hakka noodles, and dosa. The aloo chat was ok, but didn't look that appetizing. The Hakka noodles were more like Lo mein, I am used to Hakka noodles being really thin. Service was good - no complaints there. The prices were decent

Its delicious. I suggest mild on spices. It was amazing! Broke out in a slight sweat. Mumbai Masala Magic Burger.

A hidden gem. Best vegetarian experience in marietta. Quiet dining, reasonable prices and gourmet food. Manager has that personal touch. I'll be back for sure

This place is so cute and serves amazing Indian food. My husband and I shared a chaat, dosa and had some masala tea as well. Even though the place was super busy, we were seated relatively quick. The food came out within 15 minutes, the server checked on us often. As for the food itself, the food was very flavorful and a generous amount. We mostly had items from the snack section, would happily try other items from the menu.

Went to this restaurant as a last resort since it was Diwali and close to 3 pm. Needless to say, the food was decent and service was great. The interior is nice and cozy. Didn't care for the Manchurian, but the unlimited thali was delicious with plenty of refills. Beats a Buffet style any day. Give it a try.

The owner was on site and even more lovely than the pictures on display throughout the restaurant showcasing the visitors of all status that frequent Tassa. Many were notable including one from one of my favorite cooking shows! All items ordered were delicious which included a curry goat roti, a vegetarian roti and six doubles. I had heard about doubles from Trinidadian friends, but do not recall experiencing personally. The couple in line before me ordered 10 and I was intrigued! Doubles consisted of chick peas and potatoes inside of a round pastry that resembled a flattened biscuit, but with much better flavor. The filling was available in varying levels from hot to a bit sweeter. I selected a mixture of the two for my personal ones. Others I bought were hotter for my heat loving partner. Extremely popular in the Caribbean culture and now, I know why. Parking is available in the rear of restaurant, and ample dining space in two rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed this visit to Tassa for reasons mentioned above. Service has always been exceptional and informative - I ask questions! Will definitely return again and again!

Vegan food is here!!! NO soy, dairy, or gluten!…read more Since becoming a meatless, soy free, dairy free, and gluten free person for health reasons, I've been really careful of where to dine out. I do a lot of research before heading to a restaurant. A lot of vegan restaurants serve mock meats (soy) and have bread (gluten). I had Ethiopian food many years ago at Desta and enjoyed it. However, I wasn't sure what the injera bread was made from so doing a Google search lead me to the recipe. It is made of teff gain, which is gluten free!! Win-win for me! It is one of the smallest grains too! Three days of the week - Saturday, Wednesday, & Friday - Gursha has a vegetarian buffet. It will be a mix of 6 items from their vegetarian entrees. I let them choose 6 items for me. The following is from their website Shiro Watt - Split pea or check pea flour cooked with red onions, oil or butter, red pepper (berebere), garlic and Spice. Gomen - Fresh collard greens cooked and seasoned with oil onion, ginger, garlic, herbs and spice. Misir Watt - A stew made from organic split red lentils cooked with onion, oil spiced red pepper, flavored with ginger, garlic, and cardamom. Atiklett - Cabbage mixed with chunks of potatoes and carrot cooked with onion, flavored with ginger, garlic, and turmeric. Yekik Watt - Seasoned yellow split peas slowly cooked with oil, onion, ginger, turmeric and garlic. Fosolia - Fresh green beans and carrots cooked with oil, onions, fresh garlic, jalapeno, ginger, and salt. Mushroom with potato - Fresh sliced mushroom and potato cooked with onions, oil, fresh garlic, ginger, herbs, salt and spices. Dinich Wott - Chunks of potatoes cooked with onions, garlic seasoned in tomato and red pepper sauce and salt. Key sir (beetroot) salad - key sir mixed with carrot, potato, onion, lemon juice, oil, and jalapeno. My plate consisted of Gomen, Fosolia, Dinich Wott, Key Sir, Shiro Watt, Atiklett. They were all plated on top of injera. I also received two additional injera on the side. I loved everything I got. If you don't like beets then you won't like the Key Sir. My favorite is the Shiro Watt. It was so flavorable and delicious. I could taste the spices. It was soooo much food that I wasn't able to finish!! I ate only 2/3 of it. I was asked if I wanted more injera or even more food. I just couldn't! Oh yeah, when I asked for water, I got a bottle of water from the fridge. That was fine with me. Lunch was only $10.99 for the veggie buffet. It's been almost 5 hours since I've eaten. I can tell you I did not eat breakfast (thank goodness), and I'm still stuff!!! 124/2017

Texture of the noodles was nice and they tasted fresh. The menu says they are spicy but I found it pretty mild. If heat is not your thing, it's probably fine. I'd say it was a 2 on a scale of 10. I prefer something more like a 6 to 8 so I would just ask for it to be spicier next time. If were to go there by myself, I would probably just get an order of the dumplings. An order contains 10 dumplings which was more filling than a mere appetizer. It was also a really reasonable price for the quality and quantity of food you get. Each one was thoughtfully done and enjoyable in its own way. The milk and honey stood out enough that I ordered a large after. Smooth, lightly sweet, and comforting without being heavy. One small frustration. I asked to swap the milk in the matcha latte for oat milk and was told it would "ruin the integrity" of the recipe. That felt rigid, especially since oat milk is already on the menu for coffee. Not a dealbreaker, just a moment that didn't quite match the otherwise easygoing vibe. Food was a mix of strong and forgettable. The croque madam was a highlight. Fresh, buttery, and savory with just the right richness. My partner's chicken and waffles, on the other hand, felt underdeveloped. Plain waffle, plain panko breaded chicken, and a few light smears of sauce that didn't add much. It looked composed but didn't deliver much flavor. Service made a difference. Isra was great. Warm, engaging, and added personality to the experience in a way that elevated everything around it. The space has charm. We sat outside at a covered picnic table which was clean, relaxed, and comfortable. Inside is much smaller with only a few tables, and the acoustics make it noticeably loud.
