Google lists the restaurant as open until 3 PM, so I called around 2:40 PM to place an order for Idli. My fiancé called first, and they hung up on him. When I called back, I asked if I could place an order, and the response was simply, "No, kitchen closed." If the kitchen closes early, that should definitely be noted somewhere. But the bigger issue was the tone--it was abrupt and unhelpful. If it were my restaurant, I would have said something like, "We're closed right now, but we reopen at 5 PM," or offered another solution. Not once did they even try to be accommodating. This experience has made them lose a longtime customer. I've been bringing groups of people here for years, but after today, I won't be coming back.
