Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Liked - Everything here was yummy. I'm new to Indian food so I didn't know exactly what to try or what everything was, but my waitress was helpful! The environment was pretty standard and no frills but everything was clean and presentations of food was great! They also have a Buffett on some days. I was able to get mild... I like spicy but I wanted to play it safe! lol Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / I was craving salmon and looked it up, there was a review for how delicious some Salmon dish was, so I came to have a yummy spin on something classic. However there are no salmon dishes here. All fish dishes are tilapia. I haven't eaten Tilapia in a min and it's not my fave so I was disappointed. But the Tawi fish was good.

Mint Leaf was great. I was visiting town and wanted a casual ethnic restaurant for dinner. I was recommended by my local friend. I stopped by on a Thursday evening around 7 PM and the place was pretty quiet, with only a few other tables busy. They provided some free papadam and three sauces. We got the vegetable samosas (2 pieces), Methi Chicken (w/ rice), Saag Paneer (w/ rice), and Garlic Naan. I had never had Methi Chicken before but I really liked the creamy and spicy sauce. Everything was delicious. We had enough leftovers for another meal the next day. Service was easy and friendly.

Wow! Sooo tasty and good. We ordered the chicken wing appetizer, cheese naan (must), chicken tikka misala and goat curry. Generous portions and fresh food!

Mint Leaf in Smyrna is such a gem! From the moment i walked in, the customer service was warm and welcoming, which instantly set the tone for a great experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of without feeling rushed. The food was absolutely delicious hot, fresh, and clearly made with care. Everything came out right on time and tasted amazing. You can tell quality and flavor are a priority here. Even the tea stood out perfectly brewed and so refreshing. Overall, Mint Leaf delivers great food, excellent service, and a really pleasant dining atmosphere. Definitely a spot I'd recommend and will be coming back to again!

Decided to treat myself after grocery shopping and decided to order from this Indian restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Saag to go. It was $17.09 with tax and was a moderate portion of food. It actually was delicious. I was pleased with my order and the customer service. I did noticed the B health score after ordering so just a heads up for anyone that cares about it like I do. Other than that, I was satisfied!

This restaurant has been in Smyrna for years and I've finally just made it in. My sweetie and I love ethnic food and right beside Caribbean and Mediterranean cuisine is Indian. The spices, the curry, the veggies, the meats and soup - it's all there. The lunch buffet is from 11-3 PM so you can take advantage of all the delights at a discount. Service is attentive and pleasant. They seat you, bring drinks and everything else is all-you-can-eat. They have a small salad & fruit bar (cold food) and a pot with white rice. I took pictures and videos of the buffet line because me plating it wasn't that pretty! Standouts were the curry goat and all the chicken dishes. Yum! The decor is traditional with Indian art, decor and Bollywood movies playing on the TV. Ask for fresh naan bread from the kitchen and splurge on a wine or beer. You can't go wrong here!

This was the best Indian i've personally ever had. For the buffet, it was an amazing price. As soon as you walk in you know the foods going to be amazing. The smell was inviting as soon as you walk in, they're on top of the service. 10/10 recommend for anyone honestly. Go when the buffet is active (Buffet closes at 3 but i'm not sure if it re-opens later on)

Food was excellent, service left nothing to be desired even though we arrived after their closing time. The atmosphere was lively and full of Indian music. Will definitely eat here again.

Nothing lacking IMO! Food . Service . I ordered chana masala (medium spice), sambar, and garlic naan. The chana was complex in flavor and the perfect level of spice for me. Scooping it up with the naan was nothing short of divine. And speaking of the naan, this is the best I've ever had. It was somehow incredibly flaky without being too dry. It was full of buttery, garlicky goodness. The sambar was a new dish for me and I really enjoyed it as well! It's a lentil based soup with some veg. It was a great, mild starter. Even the complimentary "crackers" and dips/chutneys were delicious. I don't care where I am in the city, I will make the way to Smyrna to have this food again.

In the area and grabbed food to go. Placed my order over the phone then went to the market next door to do some grocery shopping. I just wanted to eat few bites before I got back on the road. Listen!! This food was great!! They pack everything really well so no worries about anything leaking out. Vegetarian platter - My inner foodie loved this! I love a good variety where you can sample several dishes. The samosa left me wanting more!! The fritters we're probably my least favorite but they were still good. Also ordered the Chana masala and Khadi bhindi masala. Lol both were really good!! No pix as I forgot to add them when I got home. So good that I called my friend who lives near to ask if he's ever had it. When I told him they have a buffet, he was all for it!!! Lol

The restaurant itself is pretty big, with a separate bar area and another section that works well for larger parties. It felt comfortable and lively, and there was plenty of space for everyone. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to start: green chilli chicken, chicken tikka, malai chicken tikka, paneer tikka, and mutton masala. You have to choose the spice level for the green chilli chicken and mutton. Our first round was ordered mild but it came out quite spicy. The second round was much better after we asked our server to tone it down. Even though the heat was high, the flavors were great. The green chilli chicken is battered and fried, tossed in a bright green chilli sauce and it had a really nice kick. The chicken tikka, malai chicken tikka, and paneer tikka were all soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. For the main dishes we tried the chicken 65 biryani, ghee roast mutton biryani, gongura mutton fry biryani, and dal makhani. I was honestly impressed by how many biryani options they have on the menu. The ghee roast mutton biryani was the clear favorite at our table. The mutton was tender and the rice had a rich buttery aroma from the ghee and spices. The chicken 65 biryani was also great, with crispy fried chicken pieces mixed into the rice. The gongura mutton fry biryani had a tangy flavor from the gongura leaves which made it really unique. The dal makhani was creamy and comforting, and it came with rice so there was already a lot of food on the table. We finished with gulab jamun and rasmalai for dessert, plus coffee and mango lassi. Everything was delicious and there was definitely more than enough food to go around. The food was a hit, but the service was a bit of a miss. Our server rarely checked in and we were told they were understaffed that day. For a large group it would have been nice to get a little more attention. They also use a robot to bring food to the table which was fun at first, but it stopped far away from us so someone still had to grab the dishes and load the empty plates back on it since the table was not being cleared. We also heard they have good cocktails at the bar, but when we asked for specialty drinks we were told the bartender was off that day so only beer and wine were available. Only after asking the owner/manager (who kindly checked in on us midway through the meal) did they make us a spiced lime juice (albeit virgin). Even with the service issues, I would still come back. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the variety of biryani alone makes it worth another visit.

We came here with a large party of friends who had been here previously and highly recommend…read morerecommended the restaurant for Saturday evening dinner. Our party included 11 people. We were seated in their in our private seating area given or large party size. It appeared that they were understaffed that evening. We were informed that they did not have a bartender that night so any mixed cocktails would not be an option. We were offered only wine and beer. We ordered several items from the menu. From the food standpoint this restaurant is fantastic! Almost everything we ordered was delicious. We had the paneer tikka, chicken, tikka, Malai chicken kebabs as well as the green chili chicken and mutton chukka as starters. I loved all the kebabs! For the main course, we tried three different biryanis - chicken 65, gungaro Lam and ghee roast mutton. The ghee roasted mutton was my favorite. We also tried the dal makhani which was delicious. We wrapped our meal with Rasmalai and Gulab jamun. All of my three stars are for the food! What did not work?-The service it may have been an off night for them given that they were understaffed, but it was really subpar. As mentioned we were told they did not have a bartender and initially were informed they could not make lime soda, nonalcoholic drink for us. However, almost towards the end of our meal when we convey this to the manager, the server informed us that now they had the necessary syrup and could provide provider us with the drink. They use the bot to bring out your food however, the bot never quite gets to your table. As a result, one of us had to always get up to get our own meal from the bot. None of the empty dishes were taken off of our table to make space for more despite is ordering large amounts of food. On several occasions. We just put the empty dishes on the bot to take back to the kitchen. We often did not see us over for long length of time. Overall: while the food was great.... The service was a disappointment. If they can improve on that department, this would be a great biryani spot!

I hate writing bad reviews. I seldom do but here we are. Two in one week!…read moreWe ate at Rangeen for lunch this week. We both tried the buffet. So my review is for the buffet. They have a lot of options on the menu and many may be wonderful. The dining room is well decorated and bright. Our waiter was nice. Water stayed full. The fresh naan was delicious!!! The buffet was small, limited. There was dal, butter chicken, samosas, etc. I think maybe we just hit them on an off day? The rice was nearly empty and very dried out. They were out of goat curry when we went to the table but the waiter kindly offered to go ask the kitchen for more. I did not try it but my husband enjoyed it. There was a bin with a little lettuce and some tomato slices labeled salad. Some pappadum and some tamarind chutney. Meh. Should we go back perhaps I will try the bhel puri. For what it is, the buffet seemed expensive. They also offer a thali plate for lunch. I saw some people eating this and it looked good. I forgot to take pictures.

I did ask for "Indian spicy" and didn't really find it that spicy though. I had plenty leftover the next day! My mom got a dal and I thought it was excellent! Would definitely come here again and try some different dishes. The inside is really modern and clean looking. I will say one thing, the service was extremely slow, but to be fair, it was the day after Christmas so maybe they were a bit short staffed?

After reading the reviews, I knew it was a good choice. Ordering online was incredibly easy and my order was slated to be ready within 30 minutes after ordering. When I pulled into the parking lot I almost missed it! I walked in and the restaurant was empty beyond the kind, smiling man behind the counter. The music was playing, the place smelled sooo good, I have to go back for a dine-in experience. We opted for chicken tikka masala, a full order of tandoori chicken and extra rice. First, so glad that we ordered extra rice because the amount they gave us beyond that was insane lol. I know my bf can go through some rice so the extra portions were so worth it. We ordered both dishes in HOT and man, they weren't playing lol. So many restaurants don't actually get the spice levels right but they absolutely did. Both dishes were delicious! I was disappointed that the tikka masala portion was so small with only a few chunks of chicken. It was difficult to spread between two. The tandoori portion was massive, they did their big one on that dish. All together, wonderful experience and a great choice. This place is really a hidden gem and I'm so grateful that my fellow Yelpers put them on my radar.
