Only twice ive had the order not come to standard when i had a to go. i recommend eating at the restaurant cause the ambiance is great, but in to go orders they dont serve it like they do at the restaurant. when i ordered basil fried rice they gave it to me in a curry form and not like stir fried. i still ate it cause it taste great. Cool place. You can tell that the place is definitely not part of a chain by the ambiance. It's personal, pretty, and colorful inside and also very clean. There is a variety of seating from a long bench by the wall with individual tables and chairs, booths, and seating outside. The food came out fast and they were nice enough to accommodate a request for me :D. Lots of vegetarian options. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy and there was ample amount of parking. The restaurant is in a small plaza that is shared with other businesses so on busier days I don't know how the parking would work....it might be more limited. 4 stars because the portion sizes are small. The pad prick king was just too small for one person. The white rice wasn't packed and actually had space. Inflation also seems to have gotten the prices higher than 4 months ago from the menu photos. Outside of portions, it's amazing. I loved the flavor and loved the heat from the spice. It's tough to find a place willing to pull the trigger on real spiciness and they did. It was to have lime leaves in it but didn't notice any. The pad Thai was different, most likely just due to what region you're familiar with. It was delicious none the less. Would i got back? 100% but I'd still be sour if the portions don't change. read more

The food is so good here. My gf and I come here for a trusted vegan take on classic Thai dishes. We are never disappointed. We've moved from the area but still drive from much farther away for the flavors we crave and the excellent service and ambience. The vegan ginger is SO good. And the yellow curry is to die for. There is a lot of things I love about this restaurant. First off, the staff was kind and service was quick. The food was tasty, although I think there is a bit too much oil added and not really enough shrimp. The restaurant is very clean and quiet. Sitting at my table, waving my arms over my head to get the attention of the three servers who are chatting amongst themselves, after going without a serving spoon, or water, for 15 minutes, and still being ignored, I cannot help but think that the service in this place needs improvement. When we were finally able to get the spoon, and serve ourselves the duck curry, the curry sauce itself was wonderfully nuanced. The crispy duck, for which we paid such a premium over the standard red curry proteins, was so dry that it seemed as if it were made of sawdust. The drunken noodles tasted great, but the noodles themselves were overcooked, and falling apart. The salmon fried rice, another premium item, was fine, but the salmon was cooked way past well done. read more

My fiancé and I had been searching for a good Thai restaurant for a while now and came across Red Curry Thai Restaurant on yelp for mother's day. The restaurant is quaint and fills up fast. When you walk in there is a sign that tells you to wait to be seated. If you want to get your food to go, just walk straight back to the counter and order there. There is a tiny waiting area near the register with 3 chairs. We decided to get our order to go, they informed us due to the restaurant being so busy that the wait would take at least 45 mins which we did not mind, good fresh food takes time to make. I ordered the Thai tea while I waited which was tasty. The restuarant was packed and there is little space between the tables, but it went with the Intimacy of the ambiance. The staff took their time with each table and everyone seemed pleased with the service which I observed while we waited. When our food was ready they called us over and and verified the order. Our food was delicious and by far the best Thai I've had in the Marietta area. I had the drunken noodle with shrimp which was seasoned just right and the shrimp were large. My fiance had the Salmon fried rice which neither one of us ever had before but we will definitely get it again him and I both loved it. The portions are a nice size and prices are reasonable. If you plan to order take out it would be a good idea to call it in. I can't wait to make it back here. read more

Came in last night because husband was craving Pad Thai and Thai Roti before we start our low carb diet next week. We're still trying to find "our" Thai restaurant after moving away from our all-time fav, Bangkok Thyme, in Sandy Springs many years ago. We'd been to this location once before, but it was so long that I'd actually forgotten it existed somehow. It's a lot smaller/cozier than Top Spice (which I like alright, but don't love). We ordered a Kirin each (love it when restaurants carry Asian imported beers!) and a Thai Roti to split. Note: they've got a nice bit of variety in their appetizer menu. The roti and curry dipping sauce were so tasty, but I wish we had ordered 2 because I was absolutely left craving more after we split the bread in half. Glorious. 10/10 He got the pad Thai, spice level 4 (of 5), which we were warned might be very spicy, but it was just right imo. No rating because I only stole a few bites. I got the drunken noodle, which is a meal I crave when I'm dieting, that can range wildly from delicious to decent to meh. Their noodles and egg were fantastic, the chicken was appropriately cooked and flavored, but I definitely could have used a bit more veggies. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. Service was great considering the restaurant was most likely understaffed (as they all are these days). The server was very sweet and attentive. read more

One of my favorite neighbirhood Thai spots was closed on a Sunday so I decided to do take out at this spot. I ordered my go to, panang curry with tofu and extra veggies and white rice. It was about $15. Not bad at all, but I am used to like a dollar or two cheaper lol anyways the ladies at the front were very friendly and my food was ready earlier than the 20 minutes that she initially quoted me. The food was really good but I just wished they asked me about spice level since I forgot to ask but I think it could have used more. I don't think I will go out of my way to try this spot on a regular day but if it happens to be a Sunday that I want Thai food, I might find myself back here lol read more

Updated review: This place is STILL amazing! My fiancé & I found ourselves in East Cobb again and came back to this place. Food is still great, service still great, and we got a free Thai iced tea for checking in. But seriously, their pad Thai is really good, and my other half ordered this noodle bowl that was out of this world! We got our Thai iced tea to go (kind of like dessert), and it was one of the best I have had. Normally it is way too sweet, but this one was the perfect combo of flavors & you could actually taste the tea! Prices are very reasonable & I definitely see us venturing out here just for dinner! East Cobb good :) This is not the usual Thai joint. It's like eating at a relative's house and feels/tastes a bit home-cooked. That's not saying it's bad, but it's a unique Thai restaurant. The food is very tasty and as expected. It's how they cut their vegetables and the kind of vegetables and meat they use. There's also a freshness that's like they shopped their ingredients at the farmers market that day. They're not fancy like Erwan (organic and nuovo phony-Buckhead Thai in Sandy Springs that we don't like). Probably the best way to describe their cooking is the food tastes right and good, but the texture and the ingredients are put together like what my wife can make at home from an Internet recipe (and she's neither Asian nor Thai). The serving sizes are a little bit on the small side as well and they only provide a cup of white rice with each dish and charge for extra rice). Prices are on par with Thai in the area. Bottom line, it's a good place to eat "Thai food" if you're lazy and in this area, but drive a little further and Thai food gets more authentic, costs the same, and you get larger portions. If you're a health nut, eat here to get your Thai fix without cooking. read more

I ordered the basil fried rice and the rice was a bit mushy and the flavor wasn't really there, but the chicken satay was good.
