Went for lunch and food, service, and atmosphere were delightful! It is small, but clean and tastefully decorated. They were doing a brisk business of take out & dine in, but the server/hostess was on top of everything. Writing this review is difficult. But I must. I can only report the facts, then you decide. I ordered red snapper and my friend ordered chicken wings. All tasted good, and judging by the sheer numbers of clients buying takeout, they have a solid reputation in the community for delivering flavorful food. So why 2 stars? I ate the steamed rice no problem. They after eating the brown rice, I could feel my mouth rejecting the food. All of it came up, every morsel. It has happened twice over the last 5 years. My body has this uncanny ability to reject what it doesn't want or what is harmful. So was it my stomach that's too sensitive of was the food tainted? I'll never know. read more

The Tom Kha soup is incredible! This restaurant has several items on their menu that deserve standing ovations, but that delectable, delicious soup is heaven. I've eaten at this restaurant twice now - once with my mother and the other with my husband. On my first visit, I ordered the green curry with shrimp and a side of white rice. My mom ordered the teriyaki stir fry with chicken and the basil rolls. I was surprised at how good the basil rolls tasted. We spent around $30. We both enjoyed our meals. On my second visit, I ordered the coconut soup with shrimp and added a side of brown rice. I decided to add the rice into the soup because I wanted something curry like but without the spice. Oh my goodness. Just delicious off of the spoon. My hubs ordered the spicy basil rice and wasn't pleased with how salty it tasted. I thought it was decent but we've had better at Siam Square. We also ordered tasty spring rolls. Our meals were around $30/ $35 and we'll definitely be back. read more

I was disappointed with the 2 noodle dishes we tried. The Pad Thai was not good at all. There was a thin brown sauce on the noodles that was flavorless. The Pad See U was a little better but there was so much oil in dish that all the food glistened. Maybe I ordered wrong. Looking back over the reviews most of the good ones seem to be for the curry dishes. Next time I'm in the mood for curry I may try this spot... but probably not. read more

Great food and nice atmosphere. Restaurant is small, but not too small. The server was attentive and friendly. Bathroom was single person and can get jammed up with people when busy. The Pad Woon Sen was excellent. Seasoning and ingredients were tasty and fresh. The portion size was adequate. The Tom Yum soup was also excellent and had several large shrimp included. The soup came out quick and was super hot. The entree came about 10 minutes after the soup...perfect timing. I typically don't write about the water glasses at restaurants, but the ones here were super clean and sparkly. Not sure if they were brand new, but was nice to not have water spots. Overall, this is an excellent Thai restaurant that I would visit again when in town. read more

I don't know from where all this high rating comes from. The food was 3 stars at best and the place is nothing out of the ordinary when compared to other Thai places in town. Where its really horrible is the experience. I know it was a bit busy when the 4 of us walked in but the people serving you act like they are doing a favor letting you in and feeding you. You should have seen the angry look on the waitress...no, she wasn't angry at us but the general disposition was.."What do you want? Hurry up, eat and get out"...no one offered to refill water, iced tea nada.... I know we all met the Soup Nazi in Seinfeld. My server was Zeke (think that's what he said. Soft spoken). College kid just finished first year of school. This is his first job (ever!). He's a finance major - strange first job pick to me since his major is finance. I'm sure this was an easy choice as a lot of college kids choose to do this Anyway... Very good service. He tried hard. The owner (I assume the older gentleman shadowing him was the owner) only stepped in when I had extra questions. The server was attentive without over servicing me. The older gentleman checked in on me once as well. The food is made fresh to order. The quality of the food proved this to true. Vegetable were fresh, still crisp, light basil Thai sauce. Very mild spice in my opinion. You can change spice level. If you like your food spicy, be sure to ask them to step it up. Everything was delicious. Atmosphere was pleasant. My sister and I found this darling little restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Family run and owned, this place was clean, nicely decorated and very welcoming. We ordered the red curry with veggies and chicken, the spring rolls and the sticky rice and mango. The spring rolls were fairly run of the mill, but hot and fresh. The curry was the best I have had in a very long time. It was full of flavor and deliciously rich. White meat chicken throughout and crispy veggies made this dish so good I actually returned the next day!!! The mango sticky rice was good, but not my favorite. Great service, terrific food and not too far from Sandy Springs. The papaya salad has a wonderful flavor profile and was the best we have ever tasted. Super fresh food. The owner checks on you to make sure you are happy with tour meal. Tom kai soup was spiced just right, perfect. We had the red curry with pork and will be returning soon. Unlike most restaurants, we couldn't even tell that our food had been delivered as it arrived hot and the spring rolls arrived crispy. This is def a neighborhood local and we were greatly impressed with the service with a smile, full of other customers (always a good sign), and of course great and tasty food. After having dined here for both lunch and dinner numerous times over the past several years - I decided to try the Kra Pow Gai w/egg. I wish I had tried it earlier. It was great! The ground chicken, vegetables, rice, and fried egg made a delicious dish. The other four in my group all chose different, from one another, dishes and all were well received. All plates were empty when the table was cleared. Massaman Curry, Chicken Teriyaki, Noodle Bowl, and Mixed Vegetables w/ chicken were the other choices, if memory serves me right. read more

Owners are from the north and Bangkok, so you have a nice blend of the soft side of 'Thai spicy' in the form of curries, steer fries and noodles. The chicken satay is very well done, with the classic peanut sauce and pickles. But the appetizer winner is the Golden Crab- a fried dumpling with a perfect sweet n sour sauce. Im a fan of the pad woon sen, which is a nice and clear rice noodle. Think of pad thai, but with less italian pasta looks. Family keeps on the specials: soft shell crab in green curry ( an actual full crab, but not bigger than a hand), red snapper and catfish in ginger sauce. Cannot skip desert, with the classic sticky rice. I dont get the green custard topping it (maybe typical in some of the Hangover picked Bangkok spots?!). When I get the other side of the pond Southeast craving, Red Curry is my to go place. read more

This place is surprisingly good. I have yet to eat to eat a dish here that I havent liked. Some people might say it's a small menu , and it is , but whatever they have is well made and tasty. East Cobb is generally not a place renowned for Asian cuisine but this place could hold it's own against any restaurant in Buford Highway. To me, they are a model on how a small restaurant should be run. A simple menu well executed and well-priced. A very humble and unpretentious service, clean premises and easy parking. It's almost everything you could ask for. I say almost because I wish (given the head chef's skill and palate) they tried some maybe "specials" once in a while maybe offering some not so usual dishes from Thailand.
