Lemongrass feels like fairly standard Thai restaurant inside, a fair amount of wood decor and some Asian decor. Their Panang curry is my favorite anywhere, and all the other food I've tried is good too. Service is friendly and efficient. read more

Lemon Grass Thai Restaurant - (Half eaten) Panang curry tofu! - Thai Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

I've been wanting to try Lemon Grass for awhile and am glad I did. The employees were very attentive. The inside was nice, nothing fancy but comfy. There's a large parking lot, but depending when you go you might have to park pretty far. There's a wing place right next to it that tends to be packed. We started with the Spring Rolls and Basil Rolls, both were very good! The Thai iced tea was perfect. I got pad see u with tofu. There was a good amount of broccoli and tofu, which was perfectly crispy. The sauce was a little too salty for me but I still enjoyed it. It was two meals' worth for me. My parents both got spicy noodles, one with tofu and one chicken, and with different spice levels. They both enjoyed their dishes and had leftovers for another meal. They said it reminded them of "drunken noodles" which they've gotten at other Thai restaurants. Overall it was a great value for the price and I plan to go back and try other dishes. read more

I don't know how I have never tried this place. It is absolutely delicious, I got the yellow curry with steamed tofu and it was just delightful. They also have something called family dinner where for about $21 a person you could get an appetizer salad soup and entrée. I think that's a pretty good deal. I can't wait to go back! The food is awesome. Also had the hot and sour soup, which was really good as well. read more

Lemon Grass Thai is still one of my favorite Thai restaurants after 25+ years! We enjoyed Chicken Coconut soup, Basil rolls, and Panama Curry, all gluten free. Other members of our party had Spicy Noodle, Beef Fried Rice, and a salad whose name I cannot remember. We arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday night with every table full. Still we were seated relatively quickly and our server was phenomenal. The meal for six people, with Apps, was very reasonable. I am also a fan of the upgraded interior. The wood on the walls and lighting fixtures add nicely to the experience. Of course I forgot to take pictures because I was busy eating! read more

I was shocked when i saw my bill menu items were a couple of dollars more than the price on the menu. I questioned my bill with the menu in my hand and the receipt in the other. The waitress told me there was a sign on the door supposedly telling me prices were higher . I told her I was upset the menu did not reflect the real price. She told me that menus were too expensive to print! I am extremely disappointed in this business and will not be going back to this restaurant again . read more

This venue is located in the mini mall. It's located in a nook of the mini mall. There is plenty of parking. The venue is pretty large. Good for large groups. The restrooms were very clean. It's very calm with low music. You can hear your party speaking. They don't have fountain drinks. They have a small bar with limited beverages. There's also a widescreen television. The service was professional. The food came out quickly. We had Crispy Shrimp, Steamed Dumplings, Spicy Pork Noodles, Thai Spring Rolls, and Chicken Fried Rice. The food wasn't much to write home about. The flavors were just fair & food presentation was average. On an aside, the food heats up well as leftovers. The best thing was the Crispy Shrimp, next were the Spring Rolls and lastly the Chicken Fried Rice. The complimentary Fortune Cookies had positive fortunes. Overall, this venue failed to tickle my fancy, LOL. As always I end with, "will I return"? My Fortune Cookie thinks not. read more

Food, service and ambience everything needs to be improved. Very old and smelly resturant. Food was brought too quick, apparently reheated, I ordered Basil curry, it was stale by its look and taste. Don't waste your time and money here. read more

The second star is for the food as it was good, but sadly the service was abysmal. No courteousness. No accountability. No transparency. Our server arrived to our table frustrated and irritable. We asked if there was a kids menu for three children 10 and under and she responded with a simple "no". No further options or suggestions from regular menu. It took over an hour for our main courses to arrive. Half the party of nine had completely finished their meals before the rest got theirs. The explanation was that the kitchen ignored her instructions. Then, the server felt compelled to advise us to come again on a weekday for better service. No, thank you: we would rather go to one of the other hundreds of Thai cuisine restaurants in the metro ATL area with hopes of equally good food and better service on a weekend. Finally, the bill comes (and as the picture shows) good luck knowing what you were charged for when it finally did come out (see pic). Then, it made sense why we couldn't find her for 30 min while inquiring about the timing of our entrees, she knew she had a 20% gratuity regardless. Then there is a clear price discrepancy between several items on the bill and the menu price. Our server unapologetically explains that we missed the sign when we came in saying the menu prices are basically suggestions. Yes, we missed this "prices are not what you see" sign hidden under a plant when we walked in-thanks. read more

I went here with a couple friends and saw a sign that said they were adding 15% or more on top of all menu prices. Assuming this was included gratuity, I selected no tip when paying. To my surprise, the waitress said "No tip?" in front of my friends and handed back the tablet. Rude!Turns out the 15% added to the bill is not a tip and instead the restaurant just isn't willing to reprint menus. The food was good but they expect you to pay about 30% on top of the listed price. read more

Review based on 1 lunch meal on a Monday. I had the Beef Larb. How have I missed eating this!?! I am doing low carb so this ground beef salad served with cabbage leaves is ideal. Someone reviewed this place on Google with lower stars claiming they only had one Thai item and all other dishes were Chinese. Definitely not true. Meal was under $13.00 which is pretty right on. I am actively adding items to my grocery cart to recreate this best of my ability. I will be back for sure! Yummy read more

A true hidden gem in East Cobb nestled in the corner nothing fancy about the inside. Now let's get straight to the real reason I'm typing this review from the moment you step inside you are greeted and seated ASAP. The host, waitstaff, and management all cater to you and your party everyone is treated like royalty!!! "OMG" the food is prepared fresh when you order they bring it out in a timely fashion where you don't feel rushed but not a long wait. The food tastes absolutely delicious no matter what you order well-seasoned, fresh ingredients, great portions ,true authentic Thai. Did I mention we've been going here for a while now but I wanted to keep it a secret so it doesn't become too crowded but it's too good not to share. My husband, son, and I can't get enough of it let's just say they are our favorite THAI RESTAURANT!! read more

This may be one of the best Thai restaurants I've experienced. From start to finish, we had a terrific experience. The spring rolls are made in house and you can taste the difference. There is a sweetness to them that I don't think I've experienced at any other location. The coconut chicken soup was soothing to my throat and creamy. It was served lukewarm so as not to be too hot. My curry fried rice was amazing! I loved the sweet spice and smoky flavor, the huge and copious shrimp, and the preparation of the tofu. The servers were personable, accommodations, and fast. This is a restaurant well-done. I think I might return for lunch today? Bravo! read more

This is a little hidden gem in East Cobb. If you aren't looking for it, you will miss it. It is located in East Lake Shopping Center in the very back across from The Wing Cafe. Free parking in the shopping center. My son has been several times with his girlfriend. He told me the food was really good. I had been meaning to go. He said the chicken coconut soup was surprisingly good. Well, to my surprise, his girlfriend surprised me with lunch last Friday, and I took myself this Friday. She told me about the lunch menu. So she brought be Basil Beef Fried Rice and asked for hot rice. The rice was truly spicy. I do like spicy but wasn't expecting it, so it caught me off guard. It was my lunch and dinner. Yesterday, I got the Chicken Fried Rice regular. And let me not forget that delectable spring roll w the peanut sauce. I am not a peanut fan. The roll was so good dipped in the sauce. I looked it up after the fact. Anyway, I will order extra spring rolls going forward. If you dine in, you get the soup as well Not on the to go orders. Both dishes were really good. Simple good food without a bunch of ingredients. I ate all my food. Again, for me, one entree is enough for lunch and dinner. They gube you a nice portion size. For $9.80, it is a good deal. The staff was nice and helpful. Definitely be having a few more lunches there. Check it out!! read more

The food was not bad. We asked for Thai hot and they made it decently spicy compared to most places that add no spice despite asking. They also brought a cup of chili on the side when I asked for some that gave me the kick I needed it. I have a big issue with the way they make their chicken though. The chicken is kind of dry and it kind of ruined my basil chicken dish. I usually always get the same dish at every Thai place and this was the only place where I did not enjoy it as much. This Thai restaurant kind of reminds me of Chinese food with the way they make the chicken and the gravy in the meat dishes. Good flavor in the food. Not bland at all. People working here are very friendly and kind. read more

First off, they have the best coconut soup. I challenge you to find a better one anywhere in the city. The staff there remembers your face every time. Not just one but 4/5 will remember you even if they did not serve you. The food is cooked to perfection. I have never had any dry chicken breast from them which is what you get from most thai restaurants. You can tell that they cook with love and they are there to ensure a great experience. When u want it spicy, they can bring the heat. When u want it mild they can make it that way as well. But since visiting Thailand last year, I am sure this is the closest I have found for what they have on the menu read more

If you ever have the privilege to visit Lemon Grass Thai, please ask for Lucy. She is such a wonderful and kind woman. They have two lovely Thai beers that you need to try. It is a Thai restaurant, so if you're not in Thailand it is important to get as authentic as one possibly can. They give you plenty of food. They don't skimp on the seafood or the food for that matter. It is understandable that prices go up, but it should never forego the quality of the food. Lemon Grass Thai understood the assignment. Reasonable pricing, tasty food, and excellent service! There is plenty of parking, but it may be a small walk to the restaurant itself.

Food portions are by far the best I've experienced in my dining journey, and in addition to the reasonably priced menu, the food tastes wonderful, and the service is always spectacular! I enjoy the lunch, with spring roll and choice of soup or salad. Or if ordering to go, the soup/salad choice is not included, but still a great meal, ample entree portions w/spring roll. Evening portions are even larger, enough for two meals, for only a few dollars more than the lunch price. I always enjoy a yummy experience here & welcoming, friendly service. I highly recommend! read more
