She definitely had an attitude and stated that the couple had a "Ton of luggage". I saw 2 small bags. Oh my goodness! I was not expecting this joint to deliver such incredible sushi. I can't say I excepted much from the low price point and casual appearance. I ordered two salmon based rolls and two pieces of Nigiri and I was blown away by the freshness of the fish. The salmon melted in my mouth and tasted as fresh as it can get - Especially for such a low price point. The service was wonderful and super quick. By the time I had sat down and placed my order that took about six minutes and my food came in about four more. It was incredible for such a steal of a price point. Their rolls are fresh and simple. Chirashi bowl had a sweet component to it which I don't mind. The chicken karaage was not my favorite even though the pieces were huge. It just didn't have the light/crispy texture of karaage and reminded me more of Korean fried chicken. They also have meat bowls and udon that I didn't get to try. We beat the lunch rush today since there is a conference in town. The place is so clean! You can order up front or on the kiosk device. Interesting tho that you have to input your credit card info ... my coworker tried to use the chip or swipe but somehow the keypad wasn't prompting to do that. The delicious and tender bulgogi, crispy but not crunchy gyoza, as well as the smooth and creamy potato salad which I think had some apple chunks in it really stood out. lovely little spot around the corner from the hotel i'm staying at. the service was incredibly fast. i would say i was in and out in about 45 minutes. service gets a 5/5 from me due to the speed and attention. i sat in a corner booth by myself so they did forget about me for a minute but i didn't mind since i just got off a plane and wanted alone time. the food gets more of a 4.5 the cucumber roll was for sure a 5/5 from me. the cucumber was larger matchsticks and very crispy. the spicy tuna roll could be a little spicier in my opinion but that's a personal preference. 4/5 the miso soup that they brought out as a starter was a 5/5, perfectly hot. i added a splash of soy sauce and it elevated the flavor. the heaven of tuna was a 3.5/5 for me. it was topped with spicy mayo, and i didn't see that listed in the description. i really enjoyed the crunch potato it was topped with and might try again and request no spicy mayo. the sea salt edamame was a 4/5. it was a pretty big portion but some pieces were more soft than others. i don't mind soft edamame, i think i actually prefer them soft? i just feel like they should've all been at the same level of doneness. i did the lunch special and for the portion, speed and freshness, the price of it was worth it. read more
