Their rolls are fresh and simple. Chirashi bowl had a sweet component to it which I don't mind. The chicken karaage was not my favorite even though the pieces were huge. It just didn't have the light/crispy texture of karaage and reminded me more of Korean fried chicken. They also have meat bowls and udon that I didn't get to try. This was really good! I did carry out via UberEats and it was ready really quickly. It was packaged pretty well and they included extra sauces and such. So glad I tried this place! A much needed restaurant downtown. I think I saw most people eating bibimbap, which I really want to try next time, it looks like a huge and hearty meal. I had the Bulgogi Dosirak, which is basically a bento box and tried lots of different things. The delicious and tender bulgogi, crispy but not crunchy gyoza, as well as the smooth and creamy potato salad which I think had some apple chunks in it really stood out. The soup was an unexpected but welcome addition too. I forgot what was in it but I remember the server explained it when he brought it out. The whole arrangement tastes as good as it looks. Staff is also very helpful and polite if you have any questions. I'm not a connoisseur of Korean food and don't eat it very frequently, so for others who don't either this is a great place to try. lovely little spot around the corner from the hotel i'm staying at. the service was incredibly fast. i would say i was in and out in about 45 minutes. service gets a 5/5 from me due to the speed and attention. i sat in a corner booth by myself so they did forget about me for a minute but i didn't mind since i just got off a plane and wanted alone time. the food gets more of a 4.5 the cucumber roll was for sure a 5/5 from me. the cucumber was larger matchsticks and very crispy. the spicy tuna roll could be a little spicier in my opinion but that's a personal preference. 4/5 the miso soup that they brought out as a starter was a 5/5, perfectly hot. i added a splash of soy sauce and it elevated the flavor. the heaven of tuna was a 3.5/5 for me. it was topped with spicy mayo, and i didn't see that listed in the description. i really enjoyed the crunch potato it was topped with and might try again and request no spicy mayo. the sea salt edamame was a 4/5. it was a pretty big portion but some pieces were more soft than others. i don't mind soft edamame, i think i actually prefer them soft? i just feel like they should've all been at the same level of doneness. i did the lunch special and for the portion, speed and freshness, the price of it was worth it. read more
