Beautiful and appetizing presentation, the food was ok, the service was lacking. Had a bottle of the Koshihikari Echigo beer, which was a bit malty for me, but still good. Near our hotel and centrally located. We got unagi sushi, dragon roll and California roll. Fresh fish, but standard fair. I would have given it 4 stars but it was near impossible to get the attention of the waiter to order more food and to pay. We went up to the counter, we yelled to try to get attention, to no avail. Perhaps because we were the only people in the restaurant, they were in the back, but it didn't leave us with the best experience.

Located at the block with Grand Hyatt Hotel right next to valet entrance. I was so impressed with the beautiful artistry display of my sushi from Kas. Absolutely beautiful! The place is casual - counter ordering. Menu is vast with sushi rolls / hand rolls / poke and sushi bowls to a few cooked items like karaage chicken and gyoza. The cuts of fish are fresh and sizable! Great spot when you're in the area of downtown Seattle. Service was fast!

Friendly folks greet folks at the around the corner from the convention center sushi spot. We had a few bowls that were quite creative. A casual place.

Walked by and wanted a poke bowl. Didn't wait too long to get my Pokebowl and Eel sushi. Those fish pieces in the poke bowl were largest I have ever had. Fresh and tasty. Eel sushi was great too. Services were warm and nice.

Overall this spot was fine, I just wasn't impressed. Nice clean location with nice and friendly service. I just thought it was overpriced. It was 13 dollars for the seared salmon appetizer which only had 3 pieces and just not worth 4 dollars per bite for that. Everything was good though just not impressed

My husband and I stayed nearby and visited KAS twice on our trip to Seattle. The employees are so so friendly and food comes out quickly. We tried three different rolls - spicy California, cherry blossom, and Philly crunch. Everything tasted really fresh! The wasabi was the perfect complement to the rolls as well - not sure if they make it there, but it tasted really fresh too. Prices were extremely reasonable and it was a pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed both visits and would absolutely return.

Edible. Not great but not terrible. We were looking for sushi and this was the closest option with 4+ stars. As an avid sushi lover this was a bit on the generic side for me. I will say the portion sizes are good. I got the tuna poke bowl and it was decent. Looked pretty and healthy but nothing special. My dinner companions got the Playgirl roll, Unagi roll, shrimp tempura, California roll, vegan roll and miso soup. Restaurant was clean and bright. Not very many options for nigiri or sashimi but a good amount of specialty rolls.

Found this great place close to my hotel. As an airline pilot I get to visit many restaurants across the country and this place was just fantastic, both for service and their delicious Sushi. The service by Diamond was wonderful and the sushi equally top notch, including the presentation. All around a super place for sushi and Poke bowls!!!! Definitely worth a visit when in Seattle.

Late night hunger strikes and this was the only place open near my hotel. The soup was well balanced with flavors. Sat down and ordered quickly and received food within minutes. Small little place and quick service, good to have when your hunger strikes and looking for a warm meal on a cold night.

Came by for lunch with a couple of colleagues and was really impressed by the quality and portion sizes. You can either order at the counter or on a touch screen with a card which is the route each of us went. Orders probably took about 10-15 minutes, so I would plan accordingly if they are busy. To-go presentation was great and everything tasted fresh and delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to return the next time I'm downtown.

Stopped in today for lunch and it did not disappoint! The service is always great and friendly in a very nice atmosphere. Today I got the Sashimi Set A, Tempura Shrimp appetizer, and miso. In my opinion, a perfect combination for a filling lunch. The miso was flavorful, the tempura cooked to perfection, and the sashimi was bright, colorful, and fresh. This may be my go to from now on.

Ate here while staying close by and loved it so much I got takeout the very next day. Extremely fresh fish and quickly received orders both times. Would definitely recommend!

We got two salmon rice bowls for about $16 each and the portion size was huge! We took a while to finish our bowls and even then, still had some food left. The salmon tasted so fresh, flavorful, and was well-seasoned. The pickled vegetables included added a very nice crunch to the meal. Overall, it was a nice variety of textures and tastes-- well-balanced meal. The cashier was also very kind and patient with us while we were deciding what to order. She was accommodating to our modifications (no avocado and crab meat) and even double-checked to ensure it was correct. There is also a self-service station if you're a bit shy so you don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want to! There is also self-served water here which I appreciated. The restaurant was very clean and well-lit. Casual atmosphere whether it's for a date, family outing, or just hanging out with friends. My boyfriend and I didn't get to try the Korean dishes but we will definitely be back! Super excited for the bulgogi fries! Edit: After looking at the website, it seems that this restaurant has transitioned from Korean food to Japanese food so no more bulgogi fries :( We already have a lot of poke and sushi restaurants compared to Korean food so I am a bit disappointed in the menu change.

He offered great menu suggestions and shared the story behind the restaurant--his brother designed the space, and he built it with the help of friends, which made the experience feel even more special. The menu is Thai-forward with a few standout dishes from other Asian cuisines mixed in thoughtfully. The décor is gorgeous--an elevated, glamorous tribute to the water buffalo that feels bold yet refined. We ordered the Miang Kham, Crying Tiger, and Mango Salad. I always order Miang Kham when I see it since it's such a rare find, and this one was excellent. The Crying Tiger was tasty but came out more well done than the medium-rare we ordered. That said, we still finished it because the dipping sauce was fantastic and the purple-and-white sticky rice was delicious. The Mango Salad was beautifully prepared with shredded mango that had just the right crunch and tartness. Generous portions served. Even during a busy late afternoon, the chef handled guests with ease and a big smile, serving beautifully executed dishes and cocktails. Very impressive. We'll definitely be bringing friends here next time we're in Seattle. Tip: They do true Thai spice levels here--proceed with caution."

We were greeted warmly by our host, Steven, and seated earlier than our reservation. He and his colleagues was attentive and hospitable through the meal. The steak tartare was excellent with the sweetness of Asian pear paired with the earthiness of beef. The black cod sauce was addicting and balanced between sweet and savory, and the cod was flaky. The hanger steak ssam was blended at the table and had great richness and body with the beef. The sharpness from the cod sauce helped even out the buttery rice. The ginger crème brûlée was unique. The crème delivered the ginger in a bold, but not overpowering way. The caramel sauce and ice cream cooperated with all the flavor. Not too sweet It has been a long time since experiencing an "elevated" Asian meal as corny as it sounds. If you're into internet memes, then the charge is having a succulent Korean meal. Possible improvements: standard size plates instead of tapas style small plates (though I understand heir intent was for family style sharing). Additional table linen or plates to place your utensils because a small plate can't hold a fork, spoon, and chopsticks while you take portions from the main dishes. Conjoined to the paramount hotel, not sure what the parking situation is like since we arrived via light rail. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area.

Once seated and the rest of the party arrived the service was quick and courteous. I ordered the "chicken and waffle", friends had the "sunny bunny" and the French tacos. Shared the corn bread.
