Marvin and I stopped by here for a quick lunch one time, they have really good lunch specials! The second time I tried this place out it was for dinner and I was disappointed in the pricing. The lunch deals were so good that I had a hard time paying the dinner price for a smaller portion of food. The food itself is your typical americanized chinese food, I thoroughly enjoyed it! It is very fresh but the service was somewhat slow especially when I went there for lunch. I am not sure why is was so slow especially because I was the only customer there and all I had ordered was chicken with brocolli. Overall, I recommend to try out this place if you want to try out a new chinese food place, its not too bad!

Got food today (5/29/2020) and saw the new setup. The entrance is completely covered with a glass wall and you talk to them with a speaker and microphone so there's no contact. Food is still great and chicken broccoli here is still the best. It's nice to be able to come here again

Worst Chinese food I've had in a long time. Seemed like they reheated previously prepared chicken. Greasy and tasteless.

The only reason I continue to go here is because it's close. The food is not great and often overcooked.

I don't understand why this place has such a low rating. The food here is absolutely delicious! We…read morestumbled upon it by chance, but we've always noticed it was busy whenever we walked by. It's clearly a popular spot, but you can always find a table. They serve generous portions for a great price. This has quickly become one of our favorite go-to cafes to eat at. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I was in the area with my kids and we stopped here on the way home to pick up some dumplings. I…read moreremembered coming her years ago when my son attended SBU. We had a decent meal and I thoroughly enjoyed their soups and dumplings. I'm not sure if it's due to the pandemic but I feel like the quality of the food fell off. The have a small parking lot located in the rear of the establishment. They're a small restaurant but have plenty of seating. When we ate here the first time, they were extremely packed in the middle of the day but on this particular day, they were very empty. I arrived hoping to get a myriad of dumplings but unfortunately, they now only have three types: chicken, pork & leek, and pork & Chinese cabbage. I ordered two each of the chicken and the pork & leek, all pan-fried. I was going to order some pork buns as well but the guy taking my order said they would take 20 minutes to make. I declined because we still had to drive back home another 90 minutes. We ended up waiting over 30 minutes for the 4 orders of dumplings and I'm unsure as to why. If I would have known they would have taken that long I would have said forget it. I also ordered some frozen chicken dumplings and paid for them but was told they ran out. Instead of bothering with a refund, I just told them to sub the pork & leek dumplings. When we finally got our order, we rushed home. I warmed up the dumplings for dinner by steaming them for a couple of minutes, and served with some quick ramen, addicting cucumber and a dumpling sauce I had to make because they didn't come with any sauce at all. They were OK. They are filled quite nicely but the flavor is definitely not as I expected or remembered. The chicken dumplings we "meh" but the pork & leek tasted much better. A few of them tore open very easily. Regarding the establishment itself, they could do some cleaning in there. I know it's a college area restaurant but while we waited, we noticed a lot of concerning things. Their doors are utterly disgusting. They are painted white and it looks as though they've never been wiped down. There is so much grime and crud from people touching them. Neither bathroom had soap which is a HUGE red flag. If the staff also uses the bathrooms, who's washing their hands correctly, and how? I also saw one of the guys in the kitchen wipe his face with tissue and place it on a tray. He neither had gloves on or cleaned his hands afterwards. He legit, went right back to handling food and the pans. I'm sure many people don't really pay attention despite there being an open kitchen but since we were not wanting to wait there that long and we were wondering why our order was taking so long, we had all the time in the world to just observe. The dining area really isn't very clean and I would probably skip another visit in the future.

This place is great cause it's not like the regular hole in the wall Chinese food place. This place serves alcohol and is more upscale vs the typical Chinese food spot! Staff here is always professional and very friendly. I need to come and eat here one day, I mostly order for take out, but the food is always consistent and very great quality! The general Tao's chicken is my go to with house special fried rice! The house special fried rice comes with chicken, shrimp, and pork in it. Very good and the chicken is white meat and very great quality! Egg rolls here my wife swears are the best because she says they're not too greasy and very crispy! I can't vouch for that because to me an egg roll is an egg roll! Fried dumplings here are very good though and the chicken lomein is solid. Overall this place is the best Chinese food surrounding deer park! They're located in Commack but I'll take that 20 min drive for solid Chinese food. The best Chinese food to me on Long Island is Hunan taste in Greenvale but this is closer. Love this place and highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.

No flavor at all, I had to add too much soy sauce - not great. There were no chinese veggies, no bokchoy, no watercrests, no mushrooms. It was broccoli, carrots, celery, and baby corn (2 pieces!) First of all $17 for a dinner dish that doesn't come with fried rice or soup or eggroll? Sorry I never really put negative reviews but I feel like the hype of this place out weighs its value.
