If you can overlook the weathered decor, you will find some of the best Cantonese food in the area...in a sitdown restaurant! We had tried GC years ago and didnt return till last year and found that the food had improved tremendously. To start we had egg rolls..very good and filled with delights. Hot and Sour Soup was great one visit and so so the next..They need to improve continuity so that its the same every visit...same for the Orange Beef..1st time tried steak was delish...next time good but not as good! Shrimps in Garlic Sauce was 8/10. Be sure and get the Pistachio ice cream for dessert 10/10! Our server Leo was a great asset in helping to insure we knew what we were ordering and made sure we got it! Considering all the other venues of the same ilk, we have been returning to golden Chopstics regularily and will continue to do so ....Def worth a visit!

It's been a busy holiday season, and my parents decided, for the first time in my 40- er, I mean, 30-something years of life that they did not want to cook on Christmas Day and that we should eat out. Naturally our first thought was Chinese food, but all of our go-to Chinese places are little more than a counter, and it seems that these days it's hard to find one with actual seating. We'd never been to Golden Chopsticks before, but I picked it based on its appearance in pictures of having a rather large dining room with ample tables. When we arrived it was packed as expected, and festively decorated. We waited about 20 minutes for a table- not bad given the day!- and our order was taken pretty promptly. The food menu is extensive, and there is also a full bar menu with cocktails, etc. The latter was a nice surprise, as my mom had mused in the car on the way over that it had been years since she'd had a Mai tai with a little paper umbrella- and she was able to order exactly that! The food was good and the portions generous. I don't want to go into specific details about the dishes, as the staff was absolutely swamped, and I feel it would not be fair to nit pick on one of the busiest days on the year. Suffice to say that we enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be going back well before next Christmas. (And who knows, maybe next Christmas also.)

This place looks like a diner, but apparently not - I would have never know this was here. My husband and best friend came here for dinner because she was craving Chinese food. When we ordered 3 different meals, we had no idea that it was family style, so needless to say we shared our food. I got the R7 which was shrimp, chicken, snowpeas and bean sprouts. It was so delicious and filling! They do give you fried "chips" with sauce and tea while you wait. It was a nice dinner and the menu had a big selection to choose from which I liked. I would come back here when I'm in the area again for sure!

Really couldn't decide between a 3.5 and a 4 but I went with the four cause honestly this was some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The egg rolls were delicious and my pad Thai was pretty good. The prawns that came with my pad Thai were cooked perfectly but the rest of the dish fell a little short in terms of flavor. Portions are large so you definitely leave full and with a doggy bag. The rest of my party got sushi, scallion pancakes, and soups, all looked delicious but I didn't sample any. Overall, I had no idea this place existed and it's relatively close to my house! I'll definitely be back it aa nice sit down place but it does get crowded fast.

I have a really hard time finding egg rolls that don't disappoint. Theirs had plenty of pork, were well-flavored, with a nice, crispy wrapper. I also ordered garlic beef with eggplant and scallions. The beef was plentiful and tender as butter, and the eggplant was cooked perfectly. Very tasty, and about three servings worth. I also got scallion pancakes, not always easy to find, and shrimp toast. Both were excellent. China Wok is certainly not the closest Chinese takeout to where I live, but I'll gladly make the trip. Definitely give this place a try.

The dipping sauce was just terrific to go with it. I also had the seafood over pan fried noodles, which was exceptionally good with fresh seafood, crispy vegetables, and the pan fried noodles made perfectly. The broccoli and Chinese eggplant was another stand out hit. This great spot that does a great job. fresh and made to order. Friendly service!

I have to say, overall, we were satisfied and happy we gave it a go. The staff was attentive and patient when we called in, repeated the order and gave us a price and time frame for pick up. 20 minutes on the dot I arrived to a fairly busy, but clean and neat small storefront. Sauces on a table for convenience, and a couple of cases of drinks as well. The kitchen appeared busy and transparent; you could see them cooking and packing everything fresh right in front, behind the counter (a reassuring thing!). Staff seemed friendly and honorable, reminding me to grab a free 2 L soda for my purchase. Waited 5 minutes and walked out with a piping hot and heavy bag, very well packed (bonus points for neat and no spillage). Also, definitely loved that we could order white meat, no MSG, and I guarantee you that no other Chinese food place comes close to being real like Sung Wo. We 100% could taste and tell the difference! Absolutely refreshing to eat actual white meat chicken and have it look and taste great. You can totally taste the quality and difference between the other spots. The chicken was crispy, delicious, and didnt leave us feeling gross and regretful like other local spots. I highly recommend Sung Wo, and gladly accept them as our new Chinese food spot! What we got: Orange chicken with white rice Orange chicken spicy with brown rice Eggplant in garlic sauce Chicken in lobster sauce Crab Ragoons Everything was great, orange chicken was crispy, clean sauce that wasn't caked on but enough to reheat. Plenty of bright broccoli, and the chicken wasn't dry, chewy or overcooked- a huge plus! Seriously, I hate ordering and expecting good food and getting stringy, questionable meat that is random long cuts of whatever. These were nice, consistent chunks of crispy outside, obvious white meat chicken! Crab ragoons were delicious and full of flavor, chicken lobster sauce was great with plenty of substance. The only thing that wasn't impressive was the eggplant in garlic sauce. Surprisingly, it came fried and too thick compared to the soft, grilled eggplant we would usually get. Definitely would try with asking for grilled. Another thingl, they are very accommodating, will cook to your liking, and really seem to have made a great name for themselves. I honestly can say that we were super happy and relieved to have found a great Chinese place less than 5 minutes away. We definitely will order again! All in all, great first visit and best Chinese in the area by FAR!

Once I let that go and ordered one and experienced all its gloriousness, I was hooked! This is a chicken sandwich with an Asian spin. Chicken is moist and flavorful, as if it had been marinated before placing the delectable fried coating on. The homemade sauce served with it takes it over the top. And those pickles? They are one of a kind. You NEED to try this sandwich! If you are looking for traditional Chinese American takeout, this is not it. The cuisine at Mama Chan's is many steps above (not that I dont enjoy traditional takeout, i do!) The food at Mama Chan's is like being at a friend's family feast where their mom is a fabulous cook! The Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is like a warm hug on a chilly day, soooo tasty and satisfying. On a day when I was not feeling so well, this did the trick! Can I tell you that I dream about this soup?! It's THAT good. We also tried the Sesame Chicken (which is served as tenders---big juicy pieces!) with a great rice on the side, and the Steamed Pork Dumplings, which were exquisite. The dumplings are made by hand and are a little on the pricey side, but they are of good quality and you are definitely getting what you pay for. The dipping sauce that comes with them was great. Rounding out the dishes we have tried over a few visits are the Fried rice and Garlic Udon, both were very tasty amd enjoyable. On my next visit I want to try the Braised Pork Belly Bowl and the Sautéed Sting Beans. Although all my orders were takeout, I would like to comment that service was exceptional. The owner, Diana, greets you with a smile and is very personable. Food is prepared as promised, on time, and with care. They even provide utensils. And this is just one of the many reasons I am a returning customer. Did I forget to mention the Beef Noodle Soup?! You need this soup! Go try Mama Chan's!!! :)
