Excellent food, great service - 5 stars! FOOD: Two of us ordered a ton of food for a late lunch. Everything was great. The food at Jules' is the kind of thing you only get with quality ingredients and skilled artisans that create menu items from scratch. Every bite was wonderful. DRINKS: The drinks were great too. Many of the beverages have a flavorful unique twist...everything from the interesting coffees & teas to a unique Bloody Mary . SERVICE: Our service was first rate too. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We hung out for over 2 hours and got no pressure to leave, the excellent service continued throughout. PARKING: My only negative observation is related to Jules' but not under their control - the parking. There are plenty of meters but you only have the options of coins or a smart phone app. The app is lame & clunky & stupid (obviously implemented by an idiotic city administrator) so my sister gave up. I ended up parking illegally, grabbing a bunch of quarters from Jules' and racing back to my car (a block away) with coins. My sister parked at the ramp, another hassle of a different type. Jeeze - give me a break, St. Cloud! How about a more user friendly app? How about meters which accept bank cards (like Hudson, WI)? Or how about meters that use cash or a bank card at a central station (like Minneapolis, MN)? I'd go back to Jules' Bistro any time. But next time I'll bring some quarters! I've lived in St. Cloud for 2 years and have been wanting to try Jules ever since I moved here. My parents flew in for my grad school graduation and it was the perfect opportunity to finally check out Jules. We went on a Thursday night and they had live music playing. We opted to sit in the other room where it was more quiet. This place is adorable and I loved all the local artwork on the walls and table. We were seated right away and our waitress was great. I ordered the veggie wrap but asked if it could be made into a panini instead and got a side of fresh fruit. It was so flavorful and I loved the bread. My Grandmom got a hot tea (the teabag was huge!) which they get from the tea shop down the street. She also ordered the St. Germain salad which was huge and delicious. I ate half of it. The other 2 in our party ordered flatbreads. They got the Black and Bleu and Italian feta cheese. We all enjoyed our food. It was delicious and I love how accommodating they are here. They even have homemade desserts, kombucha on tap, local beers and great coffee. What's not to love about this place? St. Cloud needs more places like Jules! I'm just bummed it took me so long to try it this place. I also wish they weren't closed on Sundays because I tried to come a couple times in the past and it was closed on a Sunday. (Scrumptious) I had loaded oatmeal with lots of cherries, almonds, coconut shavings and maple syrup on the side. My latte was smooth and the americano was also bold but smooth. Our server was all smiles and they described the pastry items so well we bought the raspberry white chocolate scone and strawberry basil scone to go. Sierra was sweet professional and fun. Decided to grab a drink after a stressful morning with a friend and we love the bar scene so we sat at the bar top. We both had blueberry & sage french 75's and had exceptional service. We were looking for a place in downtown St. Cloud where we could grab a bite to eat and visit for an extended period of time without feeling that the restaurant was eager to "turn" our table. We found it at Jules' Bistro. The new owner set the tone by welcoming us to her place, shared her plans for enlarging the place and, after letting her know that we were part of a family reunion, offered to let us stay and visit for as long as we wanted. Very gracious. Not surprisingly, her waitstaff was also warm and inviting, and the food was superb. The lemonade was fresh and refreshing. The panini's are made with homemade chips and bread. The steak chili was hearty. We've now found our go-to place to eat when in St. Cloud. read more

Stumbled upon this gem for dinner while heading north for a family vacay. Cutely decorated, great (!!!) unique menu with lots of flavors and options, we had great service, excellent dinner, and enjoyed the ambiance. Was great for my 70 year old mother and my toddlers alike. We tried the Mexican street corn pasta, pesto prosciutto flatbread (pizza), a yummy chicken panini, lettuce wraps, two different soups, and even got a flavored hot tea off of their drink menu. Had some amazing looking desserts at the counter. Would eat here all the time if I lived in St. Cloud! Great place!! read more

This is a gem in downtown St Cloud. If you're looking for a dinner spot, plan ahead and make reservations. The food is excellent and the staff are all incredibly nice-not something easy to find in Central Minnesota. They source local for their breads and other ingredients, which gives you an idea of their sense of responsibility to the community. The restaurant is on the small side for seating, but features interesting local art and a nice outdoor area. Check out their kombucha on tap. read more

Although I am not from the area, I was passing through to eat and found that they had some vegan options. This is definitely good to see and essential for me of course. I wish I could have tried some other vegan items as well, but they were on the dinner menu and could only be ordered after 4. I tried the portabella and avocado Rueben. It was tasty, and I found the addition of guacamole to be interesting. Personally I'm not big on mushrooms but still liked it. It would be even better with tofu, seitan or tempeh. read more

As a frequent traveler, I love finding great restaurants. And this is certainly one of them. I had the St Germain salad with chicken. I must say it was one of the best salads I have ever eaten. Besides being quaint, the staff was friendly, the bakery case well stocked, and the selection great. We both ordered 1/2 sandwich and vegetable chili. Honestly, if you were pretty hungry the filling in the sandwich is on the light side, probably because of the panini press, so you might still be hungry. The flavor of my sandwich was exceptional and I had chai and cake plus the soup so I was plenty full. My main shout out is to the quality of the gluten free cake and the presentation of all their house made cakes - the presentation matched the texture and the flavor. They did not disappoint! I do not have to eat gluten free, but decided to try it during my first visit more as a landmark for their quality. They rocked it! From one foodie to another - keep baking. Jules catered our wedding for over 100 guests in July 2024. A menu was crafted with our input and the result was stupendous! We had beautiful charcuterie boards for appetizers and then a Latin based dinner with many accompaniments. We also ordered cakes to be placed on each table, with several different flavors. Our guests all raved about the quality and beauty of the food, all house made; it made our wedding perfect! The staff was on time, were gracious, and left everything neat and clean. Had a great lunch with my daughter. Everyone is so nice and helpful and made our time there even more enjoyable. We had some Chai tea and then artichoke dip for an appetizer. Sooo good! Cheesy and so yummy with naan bread. We almost finished it all and should have shared a meal. I ordered the BLAT (bacon, avocado, tomatoes and mixed greens) on sourdough.
