Why on earth would a hostess offer someone else's customized pizza to another customer who was NOT sitting at the table with my order number clearly labeled?! You choose which pizza slices you want. They then toss them into the oven to heat them up. On my second attempt, the server didn't heat it up long enough, so when I received my slice, the toppings on the supreme weren't heated through. I was eating a slice that was still cool. How is this okay? Maybe if you ordered a fresh, whole pizza, you might enjoy it. I, however, haven't had a good experience either time I've been here, and so I won't be back.

I also ordered 3 large pizzas for the adults and some chocolate chip cookies. When everyone arrived, we got the grandkids all set up to make their pizzas. I handed out the boxes. Only one box had the sauce and cheese. The other 2 had dough only. Luckily, I had some pizza sauce and a little cheese so we were able to make do. Then when I pulled the Hawaiian pizza out of the oven, it didn't look right and I realized it was missing the cheese. I called Papa Murphy's Sunday. There was no manager and was told there would be one at the store in the morning. I called Monday morning and got a staff member who said there wasn't a manager available but took the message and promised to have a manager call me. No phone call. I called again this morning (Wednesday). No manager and it sounded like the same staff member that answered the phone so didn't feel it would make any sense to leave another message. I give up. Like I said in the beginning, I love Papa Murphy's pizza but this service is totally unacceptable.

This review is for the FOOD TRUCK version of Pizza Barn only…read more Excellent pizza from a truck - 4 stars! This is the mobile food truck version of the Pizza Barn restaurant in Princeton. I found them at the Elm Creek Brewing Company in Champlin. The truck has a very limited menu compared to the bricks n' mortar restaurant. Basically, they offer several varieties of giant pizza slices and several hand-held desserts...nothing else from the full restaurant menu. The pizza was excellent. I ordered the "Cowpie" pizza. This one seems to be the Pizza Barn version of a deluxe or a supreme, loaded pizza. You can definitely taste the high grade cheese and the quality ingredients. And the slices are huge. They barely fit on a full sized paper dinner plate. The dessert was good too. Not great...but good. They call it a "Special K" bar but it seems to be a super dense rice crispy bar with chocolate frosting. The truck itself it pretty cool too. I like the color and the graphics. It really catches your eye. I only noticed 2 minor things that might need improvement. First, the dessert bar was cold and extra chewy. In fact, it was so chewy, it was hard to eat. Even my 130 pound dog chewed like crazy when I shared a chunk with her! It might help if the bars were brought to room temperature before passing them on to a customer. That's just a guess though, I'm not an expert. Second, the employee was continuously distracted and she didn't seem interested in being there - pretty unprofessional. I watched her while I ordered and for half an hour while I was eating my food....non-stop messing around on her phone. She didn't know any answers to basic questions I had about the food either. She seemed stumped when I asked her what the Special K bar was. Not knowing anything about them, I was guessing it might be a rice crispy type bar with Special K corn flakes...not true though. Some basic product knowledge would be nice. Overall, this food truck is excellent. And my criticisms are minor, not a big deal. I'd eat the food again any time. It's still good pizza for a special occasion, and the buffet can be a great option, but it's lost what made it special. Service staff are kind and amenable, cooks don't seem to take their job seriously. On more than one occasion this year I've had to call back for replacement or refund on my order due to crusts literally being too thin to cook properly , or having holes. I miss 10 years ago pizza barn.
