The service is very good, we got the pork elbow over rice and beef brisket over rice both are tasty. The location is convenient across street of Chinese markets .

Easy parking and easy to order. A lot of selected and good portion for a office lady for lunch or dinner when you don't want cook

Amazing spot for some rice/Chinese food in San Gabriel. Also a free drink available. Great spot to enjoy some quick food!

I discovered this place from IG. It's a great self serve place. You order at the kiosk and your food arrives within minutes. I ordered the beef brisket over rice. The food is fresh and made to order. I made mine slightly spicy which had a nice kick to it. This place feels like places over seas, where you order your food from a kiosk (contactless), then your food is brought out. This place drives a lot of Food delivery services. I saw a number of drivers arrive, pick up their orders and leave promptly. But they do have tables to dine in and enjoy your food.

Great spot. Affordable and tasty food. Walk up and order via the screen. The jiamo another was flaky and soft. The rice was flavorful and the liangpi hit the spot. Honestly super underrated. Good for them!

Nice food, good environment. Bright and clean. 5 service I will come back again. enjoy the food and time here

The food tastes amazing and authentic! Fast and friendly service. The guy was also very helpful in helping us choose from the food choices. Overall, just a small dine in restaurant experience, highly recommend! Also! no tipping service, just help yourself out!

156 S San Gabriel Blvd San Gabriel CA 91776

Great for if you are on the go because they're so fast. The food are delicious with generous portion. Plenty of seats and parking. And to top it off, their rice dish is only around $12. Which is cheaper than most places! Their dishes are more on the spicier side, so order with caution :) The service is fast and friendly, there's a self ordering kiosk too.

A new mom and pop restaurant in center of San Gabriel offering diff kinds of comfort food. Tomato stir fried egg and pork was on par! Decent Portion! Definitely will go back to try out more dishes!

solid solid place. from the time i was in the door, to the time i threw away my trash and walked out, 21 minutes passed. you order, and basically get your food in the next two minutes. the whole joint is a fast casual kinda spot, with good food. if i had to describe it in a few words, id say its yo mommas food. really, it tastes like your mom is out back preparing it and there's just something so comforting about that. nothing fancy, no table service, just self serve. food itself tastes great, steaming hot, good flavor, great price. nothing really to complain about. ps i like yo mommas cooking.

Tonight we decided to switch things up a little, and hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Normally we prefer the quarter-pound patty, but this one was slightly thicker, which definitely made us feel full a lot quicker. That said, the burger was still super juicy, had the right filling-to-meat ratio, and came on that perfectly soft bun that holds everything together without falling apart. Solid choice. I stuck with my usual chicken breast salad, and it was delicious as always. Fresh, satisfying, and dependable -- although I'll admit I'm still not a fan of bell peppers, so those got politely pushed to the side. One thing I have noticed over time is that the fries seem to be getting a little smaller in portion each visit. I also miss the thicker-cut fries from about six months ago -- those were my favorite. The current ones still do the job, but the old style definitely had my heart. Overall, this is still a definite must-try spot if you're craving a good burger. Consistent, satisfying, and always hits the spot. Happy eats!

I always get the katsu chicken curry and leave very satisfied. However, my last visit left much to be desired. Katsu cutlets should be crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. My katsu was neither. It was FLAT as a pancake, like it was beaten to a fourth of an inch before frying. The panko crumbs added more thickness to the cutlet. The meat was virtually undetectable and then it was sliced into 1/2 inch slivers! It was served over a plate that was mostly rice (the rice was good). The curry was fine. However, I would've liked more sauce and more than one carrot and one potato. B-man's, you're usually so much better than this! I hope things improve.

My brother ordered the chicken quesadilla, and I went with the Wonder Burger combo that included fries, ranch, and a drink. Everything together came in under $40, and the portions were massive. The Wonder Burger was perfectly charred and truly one of a kind. It was loaded, messy in the best way, and incredibly satisfying. The fries were plentiful and crispy, and the ranch was a great bonus. Overall, delicious comfort food done right. No delays, no confusion--just quick, solid service when I needed it most. Ambiance: The space definitely feels old-school, but that's part of the charm. This place has clearly been around for years, and it shows in a comforting, classic diner way. It reminds me of East Pasadena's version of Lucky Boy on the west side--no frills, just dependable food and history. The only downside is the limited hours (9am-3pm). It's a shame they're not open for dinner because I'd absolutely love to come back and try more of the menu.
