Gotta love that Chickenjoy! I got a two piece and a side order with some pineapple juice. And it was as tasty as always. Appreciated they gave me a good sized leg and a thigh. I think the gravy is what puts it over the top. Dip you chicken and fries in it and put it over your rice. So tasty. read more

The service really fast and the food it's just really good here always fresh and delicious.

The deluxe spicy chicken sandwich is decent enough and honestly I like theirs better than KFC. This is a decent fast food restaurant, definitely worth more than 3 stars! read more

Food was solid, but the customer service was disappointing. The cashier didn't greet us or try to make us feel welcome at all. I ended up feeling flustered and rushed, like I just needed to get out of her way. A little friendliness would've made a big difference. read more

Well this is pretty much the best fried chicken I've ever tasted. Hands down in my opinion, yours might differ but this is my review. They always get my order correct. There's a screen that you can double check, plus they read your order back to you before collecting payment. Very good. It's a fast food restaurant. Nothing fancy but they do keep it clean. Can't say the same about other places. If you've never tried Jolibee, you ARE missing out. read more

My gf picked up for us. I'm not typically a Jollibee fan but that palabok was delicious. I never had that before...or maybe I have and just didn't know what I was eating. Happy New Year Gang! I bet ya wondering what's da new scoops in da frrrrrried chicken scene? Da frrrrrried chicken reporter - Bruddah Fran, is reporting back to you on da chicken sandwich craze........ Today's report is on Jollibee's delicious frrrrrried chicken sandwich. Is it as good as Popeye's frrrrrried chicken sandwich? Perhaps??? With da recent hype about Popeye's frrrrrried chicken sandwich, how come nobody is talkin' about Jollibee's frrrrrried chicken sandwich? Well, Bruddah Fran is here to let da gangies know that Jollibee's does a fantastic job of making this frrrrrried chicken sandwich! Here are da pro's & con's about da sandwich - Pro's - 1. Da buggah is cheaper! Can we say DEALAGES Yo? Da Chicken Sandwich Deluxe is just ($4.99) and it comes with mayonnaise, tomatoes, & lettuce. The Chicken Sandwich Classic is just ($4.49). 2. Taste & texture? Da buggah is ono! Very soft bun, & nice deep frrrrrried chicken breast filet! I ate da Deluxe today, as I like tomatoes & lettuce in my sandwich. Mayonnaise? Not so much, but no problemo, I just scraped the mayonnaise off of my sandwich. Con's - 1. Jollibee's frrrrrried chicken sandwich was clearly smaller than Popeye's chicken sandwich. But of course, how much does one really need to eat? 2. Jollibee's only had a regular chicken filet sandwich, they did not offer a spicy chicken filet like Popeye's. And there you have it........my opinion? Both places make a very good frrrrrried chicken sandwiches, but I'd give the nod to Popeye's only because they had a spicy frrrrrried chicken sandwich. If you're just into a regular plain frrrrrried chicken sandwich, may I suggest checking out Jollibee's, as it's every bit as good as Popeye's frrrrrried chicken sandwich! read more

The Pancit Palabok was very delicious. Their Chicken Joy is very popular. The Halo Halo is expensive but very delicious. If you don't want the soda that goes along with it, you have to specify that you don't want it and they will give you a $1.00 credit. I can't believe I've never been to Jollibee! My son's girlfriend is visiting from Oklahoma, so of course we had to take her to check it out. We decided to order what they're famous for, the chicken. We ordered a 3 pc meal and 3 chicken tenders. The meals came with fries and we also tried a pineapple drink and peach mango pie. The chicken lived up to its hype; crispy, juicy and finger lickin' good. My son's girlfriend has come back here several times to get her chicken fix. We were disappointed with the pineapple drink, it tasted like watered down canned pineapple juice and I sadly wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Peach mango pie was delicious and reminded me of the McDonald's fried pies. All in all, I'd recommend Jollibee to anyone who likes chicken. It gets super crowded here, so try to go during off hours. read more

Located inside ala moana food court, but off to the side near the door, this jollibee is very busy because of all the shoppers and tourists craving for their juicy fried chicken. Bucket of 6 pieces - 4 stars - for 6 pieces, the chicken was served piping hot. The skin was super crispy and the chicken was juicy inside. Comes with gravy. but the gravy makes it too heavily loaded with cholesterol, so I like it plain. Long line to order, and with all the hype with people fighting for fried chicken sandwich, they too were sold out. Lots of parking since it's in ala moana shopping center. read more

One of my best friends had this huge Jollibee craving, so we decided to just order most of the menu! HAHA. Obviously, the Ala Moana location is probably the most busy location on the island, but it is also the most convenient for us. We decided to get almost 1 of everything. The only item we didn't get to try was the burger. 3 Pc Burger Steak $9.99 - This burger steak reminds me of school lunches back in High School. I actually really enjoyed this. Palabok Fiesta $6.99 - I've never had Palabok before, so I have nothing to compare this to. However, I thought these noodles were really yummy. I definitely recommend giving this dish a try if you never had it before. Jolly Spaghetti $5.99 - The spaghetti was alright. The red sauce is slightly on the sweeter side and came topped with cheese and some cut hot dogs. I wish it came with side garlic bread. 6 Pc Bucket $12.99 - What makes this chicken stand out compared to other fast food chicken places, is the gravy. Dipping your friend chicken in gravy is a huge game changer! Halo-Halo $5.49 - This is a very popular Filipino dessert. I do agree its not for everyone, but the secret to Halo-Halo is you have to mix everything together really really well. Peach Mango Pie $2.49 - So delicious! Warm crispy outside with a fruity/sweet yummy goodness inside. read more

Always a long line but, they have some good chicken! I also love their yum cheeseburger's and chicken sandwiches. I also love their spicy chicken, and chicken strips. Can you tell I like chicken? HUSBAND: Are you hungry? Let's get something to eat at Ala Moana Center. We've already walked 4 miles and still have another 2 to return home. (Grumbling) ME: Ok, I'm sure we'll find someplace to eat at BUT you better NOT say you want Mushroom Chicken, again. HUSBAND: Well, I sure don't feel like having "rabbit food". I want something substantial like FFFFFRRIED chicken even though we're going to a potluck dinner later tonight. My husband's "wish" was granted as we headed to Jollibee at the Makai Market Food Court. There was a crowded queue of hangry-looking people all waiting to get their hands, er, tastebuds onto the crispy-skinned juicy fried chicken made famous by this Philippines-based fast food chain. We stood in line while checking out the menu options and by the time it was our turn, we placed our order for their 6-piece bucket of Chickenjoy. The cashier was friendly and repeated our order then asked if we wanted the Original or Spicy. We hadn't tried their spicy fried chicken before so we chose SPICY. The cashier then gave us a pager and an order number. We stood nearby and excitedly waited for our food. Within a few minutes, which seemed like an eternity to our growling stomachs, our order was ready and we walked over to the cool air-conditioned dining room of the Makai Market Food Court. We found seating right away, pulled out our bread rolls from BRUG that we had previously bought and broke into that bucket of Chickenjoy. Removing the cover of that bucket released the "langlap sarap" aka aromatic deliciousness. In this case, our Chickenjoy was intoxicatingly fatty, slightly greasy and spicy smelling. As I brought the chicken piece to my mouth, I could see the steam escaping from the crispy chicken. As my bite shattered the crispy-skin, my palate was hit with hot paprika or cayenne spiciness and SALT! I spat out what I had just bitten into and quickly sloshed down my cold beverage. My husband who is more of a deep-fried food eater than me, had the same reaction. We both agreed this spicy and salty fried chicken wasn't what we expected as we've eaten Jollibee's ORIGINAL recipe fried chicken. It seemed that the seasoning was just there to make the chicken peppery, salty and sweet and did little to enhance the flavor of the chicken. Even the brown gravy that came along with this bucket of Chickenjoy, couldn't help the overly salted yet oddly sweet seasoning. We both removed the crispy salty chicken skin (yeah, it's unheard of for my husband to remove and pitch away chicken skin) and ate what we could before throwing away the last 2 drumsticks. Sorry to say, we will not return to Jollibee for their Chickenjoy which traumatized our palates for the day. read more

We are big fans of Jollibee! We first tried this chain in Toronto and were hooked on their fried chicken (w/ gravy), spaghetti, and pineapple juice. This location is in the Makai food court in Ala Moana Center. Depending on the time you visit, there can be a very long line or none at all. The cashier was super sweet and quick. Everything was wrapped up neatly. Their fried chicken is well seasoned, not overly greasy or overly salty. Their spaghetti is slightly sweet and tastes different from most spaghetti's we've tried but is lovely. Our little one loves their spaghetti. It has small pieces of hot dogs in it. Their pineapple juice is also incredibly refreshing. Easily one of my favorite drinks. read more

First time here! I keep hearing from my Filipino friends about Jollibee and I just had to try it for myself. Got their spaghetti and fried chicken which came with gravy to dip my chicken. Meal came with a soda $10.49. Spaghetti sauce had a sweetness to it. Had cut sausage pieces that resembled Vienna sausage which I like. I can see how this might not be everyone's favorite but I really enjoyed it. Fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and quite juicy on the inside. And wait what?? Dip it in the gravy? What type of sorcery is this? I should have discovered this sooner. read more

Jollibee - Spaghetti and chicken combo - Chicken Shop Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

If I could give them zero stars I would. I was so excited and I wanted the spicy chicken and they did not have it. So we ordered two meals that comes with four pieces of chicken two sides two drinks and two pies. They rang me up the same price for the meals and I didn't get my pies so I went back and they try to charge me for two pies that they didn't give me in the first place. Not only did they not give me my pies but my chicken was cold and my fries were cold and hard and they gave me the wrong drink. The service is horrible. If you want a good Jollibee experience do not go to this location. They're also very dirty. Somebody tell corporate to check on them because I've never had such a bad experience. It was so so sad read more

Food taste hood when warm did not use gravy. But heard some prople love with gravy ( my nieces & nephew)

I only had this on Wednesday , and here is me: ordering the Family bundle again. The fried chickens are the best: just as advertised- crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tried with and without their gravy, different taste and I like both. I had the peach mango pie on Wednesday and Ube pie today. Both are good, kinda on the sweet side, but not too much. The only reason I took down one star is because I asked for half spicy but didn't get any spicy ones. read more

It's Filipino fast food, merging offerings from McDonald's, KFC, Sbarro, among others. Choose from fried chicken, burgers and spaghetti. There are even combos that mix those things, which I'll admit is a bit strange. On this visit, I had the chicken sandwich. Not fantastic. The meal came with their peach mango pie (in the style of McD's apple pie). It was also meh. They also have pancit and halo halo among their offerings. I'm not a big fan of fast food in general. I don't feel that Jollibee is a god representative of good Filipino food, so it's at best a 2.5-star joint. read more

I've always seen Jollibee by my workplace but I never got a chance to try it. I've always been curious about it. One day I was talking to one of my media kids and she was telling me all about Jollibee. It's funny because every time I talk with her she always tells me about all these deals at places to eat. Anyway she was saying how she loves Jollibee and how she thinks it's way better than Popeyes. Better than Popeyes, I couldn't believe it. So when I saw it at Ala Moana center food court, I decided to give it a try. I got the two piece chicken joy, which is pretty much a two piece fried chicken meal. With this meal you could choose between rice or French fries. My student said to try the adobo rice so I got that. You have to pay a little extra for it. The chicken was okay. It wasn't anything special. Just tasted like regular fried chicken to me. The adobo rice was different. It was pretty tasty in the beginning but then it started to get spicy so I stopped eating it. Overall though, I'm glad that I got to try Jollibee. read more

WHY don't we have the spicy chicken sandwich in California?! This is probably the best budget chicken sandwich i've ever had. The spicy chicken sandwich comes with fresh jalapeño slices and that puts it over the top for me. I'm still thinking about the sandwich now. It's so flavorful and juicy. I think I may have travelled to Hawaii just to eat Jollibee and it was completely worth it. I also got the ube pie here because it's been sold out in California for quite some time. Not the biggest fan of it. I'd recommend McDonald's haupia pie over this one. read more

Fastfood or slowfood? I had to wait 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich meal. There was only 2 - 5 of us waiting. The cashiers talking to each other with their own language. They have no urgency in moving. It feels like it is all their first time working. Manager is not "managering". Very slow service. This happened July 24, 2024 at 11:30AM. read more

First time I've tried Jollibee. I wanted fried chicken, and my husband goes for spaghetti everytime he can get it since I dont eat marinara, therefore I don't cook it in our house... My husband thoroughly enjoyed the spaghetti, and it was a pretty decent price. Everything was pretty decent. I got the fried chicken which came with a side of brown gravy, and adobo rice. (The adobo rice is pretty good for something coming from a fast foods joint). Unfortunately though, most of the food wasnt even hot when it was given to us! Which is probably the cause of my twisting stomach a couple of hours later. Overall, a good place with decent food and prices, just make sure your hit food is hot when you get it; and your cold food is cold. I'll still give this place another try, only because I want to try the Halo halo read more

I'll give this one a 3, I don't think this would be a place I'd go out of the way for myself. It reminded me of a KFC type of fried chicken, they also serve other things that you may like, check the menu for those. This place is obviously popular across many countries by the looks, it didn't land with me. I felt it wasn't that delicious as some fried chickens places that I've had. Missing lot of flavor and that overall perfect bite some of he best places have. With my preferences aside this place is popular and you very well may like it. read more

I love love love Jollibees. Especially their fried chicken and their gravy is to do for!! This location is always busy of course because it's at alas and in the food court but because the food is so delicious. All the workers here are always on it! They work super fast and they're super nice. They have manners when taking your order and they pack your order so neat and organized. My first Jolibee! It's located near the door at Makai food court in Ala Moana Center. I thought the location is bad idea because there is a line up always and blocks the door. I used this shop twice a day. First for the lunch : chicken strips, fries, mango peach pie and drink After shopping, halo halo on the way to my air b&b. Same girl served me. Very friendly cheerful girl. Fast service too. It's supposed to be 3 pieces chicken strip but there were more. Mayne because they use different shapes one, they adjusted same volume of 3 pieces. I liked hard bite batter. Very delicious meat too. Eating Halo Halo is always fun. First I have small amount of each ingredients and then mix everything. When I found colourful jelly from bottom makes me feel like treasure hunting too! I never get bored with different texture and flavors :) read more

I grew up with Jollibee. After moving to North America, I crave for the taste of Jollibee fried chicken. Every visit to Hawaii means a visit to Jollibee. But lately I've noticed that the Ala Moana branch hasn't been keeping up to the taste. What's worse is it looks like they've been serving refried chicken. Skin is unusually crunchy that it loses the taste and smell I crave for. Hopefully they stick to the original recipe and standard it's known for. read more

The Dancing Bee Everytime Ive come here, everybody orders something different. While I do like some of the items like the chicken and palabok, there are some that I don't. The yum burger is one of those don'ts. This location is located on the Makai side (thats closer to the sea) in the Ala Moana shopping center. The seating is shared with all the eaterys of the food court, and usually crowded, so plan accordingly if you do want to sit and enter the swarn of eaters. Now I have had the Aloha Burger before and it was very messy. I needed plate, fork, and knife to finish. The Big Yum burger comes with a bushy luscious lettuce and 2 sliced tomatoes. I just did not get any taste of burger at all. Again, the burger feels lost in the forest of veggies and even when I pulled the patty out to take a bite of it, the taste turned me off, tasted "soyish." Big Yum Burger: (4/10) Overall, this is still a decent location for your Jolibee filipino fix. If you don't know what to get the safest bet is the chicken. Try that first before you get adventurous with Palabok or Spaghetti. This loc would clock out at 2 stars because the foot traffic in between the counters are just silly at this loc, and the cashier talks too soft and cant understand because of the noise level, but rounding up for that hard working, crowd pleasing, dancing bee out front! read more

Last week I was at the mall to support and celebrate my close friend's birthday. I already hate being at this mall, but I thought I could treat myself for going out of my comfort zone with Jollibees. Stood behind 7 people for more than 20 minutes. I assumed maybe it was busy- maybe they had to cook new food. I get to the front of the line and there is one employee on register and one register completely open. And there are more than 4 people behind the counter joking around and doing nothing. Thats annoying- but I can overlook that. Im seeing the line behind me grow and people leave from waiting so long (as people infront of me had done earlier). I waited 5 minutes for the guy on register to check out this mother and daughter's small order. Durring this time- another employee, a teenage boy I believe, goes to the second register, looks like he is about to ring my order- makes eye contact with me- and then turns to this middle aged woman, im assuming a manager and starts laughing. He then walks away from the register laughing and talks story with the woman. I had to wait about 3 more minutes for the other guy on the register to ring me up. After all that it took them less than 2 minutes to give me my meal. Why the hell was I waiting in line for 20 minutes if they have 4 people standing around on the clock and it takes them less than 2 minutes to make the damn meal. I watched at least 8 groups of people leave the line and eat elsewhere. The only reason I didn't leave is because Jollibee's chicken is great and I needed that. Food was good this day by the way so it wasn't all bad, but Im definitely not eating there next time. So many other food locations to choose from in the mall. read more
