I'm definitely one of those "why would you choose this on Oahu?" folks. I'm also someone who needs a plain ol potato every now and then. This CFA location is genuinely top notch. Everything was well made. Crispy fries, well made peach lemonade (not watery with off proportions), AND THEY SHREDDED THE NUGGETS ON THE SALAD. This is probably the best Chick-fil-A I've ever been to! Let me start by saying that from what I've read in other reviews, this Chick-fil-A is fairly new. It is located just a few minutes from Waikiki Beach, across from the convention center. They actually have a very cute mural outside their store, which is perfect for photo ops. The service here is absolutely amazing and everyone working there is so friendly. Also, the food is definitely above average compared to other Chick-fil-A locations. I am sure you're thinking, "How do you know? It is a franchise, they all serve the same recipe". But I can assure you the chicken here is so much better (husband agreed). As a mom with a picky eater, this Chick-fil-A saved me many evenings from figuring out what to feed my kid during our time in Oahu. read more

Craving a salad... This newest Chick-fil-A spot is right in the midst of Kapiolani across from the Hawaii Convention Center just before entering Waikiki which is a pretty busy and congested intersection though once you make your way into the dining room yes this one has no drive-thru but you can dine in here is nice. Parking lot is a decent size and is free...thank you and loved they kept the super spacious dining area and made it very cozy and bright with various types of seating including an outdoor area as well. The service counter is right in the front and the staff is very nice to patiently wait as I was scanning their menu. Spicy Southwest Salad sounded really good and decided on that with creamy salsa dressing but don't ask me how it was since I used another dressing at home lol but nevertheless really enjoyed it and would love to try the other items one day as this convenient location does make it easy to get to the other side. Newest chick-fil-a location. No drive-thru here because it is at one of the busiest intersections on the island. Inside is very spacious with high ceiling. Service was good. We ordered on the app ahead of time and when we got there we just scanned the code on the table and they will bring the food over. Very convenient. Plenty of parking. read more

Lunch in Honolulu, Hawaii... Located across from the Hawaii Convention Center is the third Honolulu location of Chick-fil-A! Note: There are two Chick-fil-A's in Kapolei, O'ahu, and one on the Island of Maui. A long time ago, this building housed the Hard Rock Cafe, then later, it became the Honolulu Coffee Company. Now, it's been beautifully renovated into a modern fast food eatery! There's a wonderful garden that pays tribute to Hawaiian Royalty, a patio dining area, a convenient restroom, and a private party room! Today, 4-2-26, Thursday, was Grand Opening Day. It was on the television news last night and all over social media. I expected it to be a mess, but surprisingly, the crowd wasn't so bad and I found parking right away! The line to order moved so quickly! It was an amazing experience! Service was wonderful! Everyone was so friendly! Example: This gal, Noriann, asked if I wanted any sauce. She noticed that I had none on my tray when she delivered my meal. She was able to name and describe each flavor so that i could make a better choice! She also helped me with the app so I could get credit for my purchase! Thanks for your patience and sharing your knowledge, Noriann! Jason was also very helpful. I told him that I wasn't able to tag this location in my Instagram Reel. He knew how! Wow! He's akamai! Food wise - my Cool Chicken Wrap was fresh and healthy! I liked the shredded chicken because it was easier to chew than the free Chicken sandwich! Haha! Yes, Eric, the brother of the owner got me the free chicken sandwich. The counter staff didn't recognize my cow outfit... I was a cow mom with my plushie tied around me (from Ken and Karen in Northern California). I also got my waffle fries extra crispy! Located across the street from the Convention Center, formerly the Honolulu Coffee Company, Chick-fil-A has reimagined this large space. It seems to be the largest Chick-fil-A location on Oahu and even has an Event Room with big-screen TVs, seating, and a condiment station. The decor has simple Hawaiian touches. It was quite busy today because of an event at the Convention Center. There is seating inside as well as the patio lanai area outside. We were able to find a table in the Event Room. The food is always delicious, and the service is great! We had a few servers check on us while we were eating our meal. Overall, we enjoyed eating at this location and will be back again! The newest Chick-fil-A on island and it's beautiful and huge inside! Super clean, spacious, and modern. The only downside is getting into the parking lot can be a bit of a hassle depending on where you're coming from. If you're coming from Waikiki it's pretty easy, but anywhere else in town can be tricky depending on traffic. Since it's newer, service can sometimes be a little slower than the other locations, but that's understandable. Overall, a great addition and definitely worth checking out. read more

The service was amazing! A majority of all the Kawaii Kon attendees made it a point to go here to eat since it was a short walk from the convention center. I was impressed at the space of the interior !?? It was huge and had lots of seating space. What impressed me even more was the dine-in option ??? I didn't know that was a thing LOL. My table even had a flower on it (so fancy LOL). The food was standard chick-fil-a, delicious, and I also tried the milkshake for the first time and that ish was delicious.. sinful but delicious LOL. read more

This place is huge.I last ate there 19 years ago in Tampa Bay. The menu is limited, but the sandwich was really good. The sauce is what makes the burger But what makes the restaurant special? Food was good but they had an employee specifically named "pualani" or whatever her name was around there but the point is everything was fantastic and than when I went to order more food she looked very annoyed already. I asked if she was okay to which she replied "don't talk to me, just order your food" in a very rude way. BEST Chick-fil-A in the world hands down. They even have live flowers on the tables little roses with babies breath etc, it's sooo clean, the lighting is beautiful, I used to not like chick-fil-A but this location changed my mind. Wish I could give zero. I ordered curbside pick up, waited 20 minutes before going inside. They brought out the food for another car that got there five minutes after me. Once I went in to get my food it was cold. They couldn't just bring it out when it was finished that must have been too hard to walk over two orders so they just let mine sit and get cold. Depending on your direction of travel, entering the parking lot can be challenging, if you're exiting Waikiki on Kalakaua it's right across the convention center and if you're heading towards McCully on Kapiolani then you can enter that way. Went in for lunch and the the first thing I noticed it was very well lit with natural sunlight. I also was rather noisy as people, young and old are conversing. The establishment was about 1/2 full. You stand in line to place our order and before we were settled in to our table our food was being delivered. We had ordered a Cobb salad and the chicken wrap, the chicken in the salad was plentiful, sorry can't say the same for the wrap, it totally lacked any taste. I had ordered the wrap as a meal package and had declined to get my receipt, it didn't dawn on me why the charge was so high as the meal also came with a chicken sandwich but I think I was charged separately for this and didn't order it, but without my receipt I felt I couldn't do much about it. Also I could only find one trash receptacle and it's located as go you to the restrooms, there may have been another one but didn't see it. read more
