    Bacon Cheeseburger w/ Avocado
    Frankie A.

This burger joint is located at the Ala Moana Center. Parking's a non-issue since you park at the mall. Parking tip: I usually park on the Neiman Marcus side, enter and exit out Neiman Marcus, take the escalator down to the food court. No restrooms but you're at the mall which has plenty to choose from. You order at the counter, in which the menus are displayed on their mounted TVs. I ended up getting the Bacon Cheeseburger with Avocado. Okay, I don't mind a few onions on my burger, but this burger had way too much onions topped on it! I ended up discarding most of it unfortunately. The beef paddy itself was pretty good, seasoned well, very flavorful, and juicy as a burger should be. The remaining veggie toppings were so-so at best, wished the cheese was something other than american cheese, bacon was crispy. Fries were deep-fried as expected at a high-traffic area. Tried it but I don't think I'll be going back any time soon.

Located in the food court at Ala Moana Center. I was in the mood for a burger so I spotted this place. I got the cheeseburger combo. It tasted good. The staff was friendly and service was good. Overall a good burger place the burger was tasty they give a good amount of fries as well.

In the Ala Moana shopping center food court and craving burgers? Look no further! Cheeseburger factory will fulfill your cravings! The burgers are made to order and the cooks really put the time into preparing and cooking your burgers. They ran out of bacon when I went unfortunately but their cheeseburger is pretty good. They added grilled onions and it was very tasty. Their fries are okay. Just deep fried and put in a bag. Compliments the burger though. Overall, pretty good burgers. Price is a little up there compared to other burger restaurants but it is located in a tourist hot spot so that's probably why.

Every time I eat at the Ala Moana Food Court, I try to choose a different food outlet. Today, I decided on the Cheeseburger Factory. The menu was very clear on the choices they offer. I decided on a simple cheeseburger combo that comes with fries and a drink. It's the food court, so I had to look for an open seat. I found one at the counter table. The cheeseburger with grilled onions, a slice of tomato and lettuce tasted okay. The bag of fries was filled to the top. The fries were okay. It was not made fresh but it still has a crunch to it.

The Cheeseburger Factory at Ala Moana Food Court is another entity owned by Liliha Bakery. They also own Mama's Spaghetti, Lahaina Chicken, the Poi Bowl... just to name a few! Today I was in the mood for a good burger, and decided to try this place for the first time. Healani was our cashier and she was amazing! She was very patient and explained how everything worked, what was on the burger, how the salad bar and soup worked! I hope management realizes how much of an asset she is! She even went so far as to check with us during our meal to see if everything was OK. We gave her the thumbs up, and that made her smile. Everything was fresh - the burger was well, seasoned, hot and made to order! The fries were fresh, the chicken noodle soup was spot on, and the salad bar was fresh, well-maintained, and all filled up! Someone next to us had the steak plate which is right next to Cheeseburger Factory, and also part of the Liliha Bakery franchise. Her plate looked amazing and I may have to get that the next time I'm at the food court. Seating is at a premium as it was prime time lunchtime when we went but we found a counter space before our number was called! Parking would obviously be at the mall or if you are catching the bus. All in all, the burger combo meal for $16.95 was worth it!

Decisions Decisions! Alot of places at The Makai Food court (Alamoana) ranging from mexican..hawaiian..chinese.. Italian..etc..... and then theres "The Cheese burger Factory" (Located closer to the Daimond head entrance to the food court) situated in a corner stall with three (soup & salad and Steak & Fish) different restaurants in one....(pic) The prices are fair for it being in a foodcourt..(pic menu)... I ordered a hamburger meal which consisted of a very tasty homemade looking beef patty with very fresh tomato..onions and lettuce... I passed on the sauces and mayo and it was still tasty and came with a very premium bun from Liliha bakery...(I observed closely and saw that it came right out of a Liliha bakery bag) and meal came with really good fries and a drink. ohh! and I also observed their kitchen counter area being very clean and clear from rubbish on the floor or anything . The staff was very attentive and appeared happy to be there..They all wore gloves and I noticed alot of wiping and disinfecting of counters while they awaited orders to be ready for pick up....(not a long wait at all). The food court seat areas was monitored by a few workers and they even directed you to open seats...we were lucky and entered not having to put our name on a waiting list..Because of the covid there was limited seating and a time limit of 1/2 hour. The same foodcourt workers dilligently wiped down every table and chair once the occupants departed. So yes there are alot of good choices in the Makai food court and "Cheese burger factory is one of them

If you don't want a burger from a major chain and something with a bit more attention and care, this would be a good alternative when in the mall's food court. They got good, classic burger with standard toppings that is made to order and not precooked or made. Not a beef kind of burger person, no worries. They got mahi mahi, shrimp, as well as chicken breast. However, surprisingly they don't offer a veggie burger. This is a meat lovers place for sure. You can also jazz up your burgers with bacon and/or avocado. Feeling guilty about ordering a burger, well there is salad options as well and with healthy choices and not just iceberg lettuce with a few carrot shavings on top. Need something more, well they also got soup and freshly made to order fries as well. Of course you can jazz up those fries and order the Volcano fries which are basically covered and smothered yumminess.

yum' this place was great!!!!! Very busy being that it was in the mall but the quality of the food was really good! My burger was cooked exactly the way I asked so no complaints there. The only thing I wasn't as pleased about was the time it took from placing the order to when we finally received our food... Other than that, this is a solid stop for lunch if you are shopping and you build up and appetite!

Mahi Burger $8.50+tax. Burger's sauce tastes like creamy BBQ/seafood cocktail dressing. 2/21/17.

Completely cliche, but for food court food, surprisingly tasty burgers are made here. My first visit to Cheeseburger Factory was actually over 10 years ago when they first opened. I never returned because I was not impressed. So what got me to try this place again was seeing someone walking around the food court with a tray of their burgers. And it looked good. So I tried. And I liked. This place shares the same grill with Steak & Fish Co. so if they are busy expect a wait for your food. Burgers are made to order so it's nice and fresh. The burgers I tried so far all come with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions & special sauce on nice soft bun. Thank goodness they stopped using iceberg lettuce and use green leaf lettuce instead; decent bun to meat ratio. The hamburger patty might be too thin for some but it was enough for me & had good flavor. The special sauce is a mayo, ketchup & mustard dressing. On all burgers they are generous with the sauce so it gets messy. The mahimahi burger is delicious and came with an interesting sauce akin to a creamy BBQ/cocktail sauce concoction. I'd order it again if I'm craving fish. Think I'm going to try the shrimp burger next. The fries are okay. I could pass on it if I'm not too hungry but I'd definitely order it if I'm rip roaring hungry & make it a combo. Volcano fries looked interesting; it's an order of fries smothered in molten cheese & topped with bacon bits. I saw someone order it & thought "ahh, to be twenty again..."

    Cheeseburger and Mahi-mahi with fries.
    Jennifer B.

Expect your order to take as long as a regular sit down restaurant. That's the first bit. It's followed with, the food is okay. Actually pretty good... However! They put "special" sauce on everything and you have to watch them like a hawk while they make your order. If you say plain and dry, you'll get loaded with veggies and special sauce. In my desperation for a cheeseburger close to my house, I have turned to this and other cheeseburger establishments. If you want a tasty burger you can take to the beach, this one is acceptable, but don't be in a rush to eat, and don't forget about the special sauce!

This is the pic on the menu board.

The pic of the shrimp burger on the menu display was very misleading. The pic showed half of the shrimp burger with five shrimp falling out of the burger. The burger had four shrimp....total. When I asked the asst manager why the menu had five shrimps, she tried to persuade me that one shrimp was a french fry. They are taking advantage of one-time tourist patrons....I will not fall for it again!

Volcano fries = I love you.

I went around and looked at the 5offerings... it was easy for me to choose it had to be quick so I ordered at aloha by the slice. single slice with a "twist" I say twist cause initially I wanted Sausage and humbly the worker (Teddy M) expressed nicely that they didn't have sausage and I asked for ham... now remember I wanted the "single" slice with one"topping" and no sausage but ham was available. If many of you follow my reviews... I don't care for Hawaiian pizza.... The last Hawaiian pizza I had was at "Spitfire Grill" in the Dukes lane Market and that got 5stars BECAUSE- it had pork grinds on the Hawaiian pizza - which by the way is really delicious and I found it an epic addition to the pizza The reason for my 5stars this time is because Teddy decided that he give me a Slice of Hawaiian pizza that has the "Ham" & Pineapple on it.... Even when I asked for the single topping slice... he was perhaps going above and beyond ((there was an impending line in back of me)) so he choose to take the slice already made warm it in the wood fire stove then take it and cut in half.... He did this for the right person... me!!!! Happiness to hit one customer with a slice that had two toppings... I will add that I realized this may not go as well for other people... but if your one to understand the food service part of it then you get where my 5stars comes from... Thanks Aloha by the slice... I'll be going back again. (I'm still not a sucker for pineapple on my pizza)

The perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of commercialized Waikīkī. Glowing tiki torches, it captures my every step. Curiosity takes hold of me as my eyes gaze towards wooden kiosks. They're closely knit, all selling a hodge-podge of brick-a-brac island-style pieces geared towards tourists. A jumbled assortment of curiosities, memorabilia and trinkets of remembrance. Cheap shell leis, carved wooden tikis, jewelry of all sorts, handmade items. Displays of bright Aloha attire and accessories complete the shopping experience from stores along the perimeter. Vendors chatting, laughter in the distance. A comforting hum, a laid-back vibe. Unpretentious and deeply welcoming. All centered around a grand, massive 100+ year old banyan tree. Balanced on urban living, it was a connection to the social fabric of Honolulu. Nostalgic, charming, extremely unique. This was the original International Marketplace in Waikīkī. From 1956 to 2013. I remember it vividly. Do you? ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I grew up coming to this open-air marketplace. Eclectic shops and a food court. This place had personality, charm, island-style warmth. I frequented this spot from childhood into young adulthood when traveling from the Big Island of Hawai'i and during my university days at Mānoa. Memories with my family as a kid, with my college friends many years later. Having a quick meal as an adult at the International Marketplace food court while employed in Waikīkī. It was a spot for cheap eats in a relaxed setting. I've watched musical diva and Hawai'i legend, Melveen Leed perform many times. My parents still remember watching Don Ho here. At the original International Marketplace back in the day. Precious memories. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Now it's a blend of fresh air and natural light on three floors. Polished, refined with modern touches. Still offering a lively yet sweet escape with a fluid layout and an unconfined atmosphere. Reimagined and reopened in 2016. Home to major brands and unique local boutiques. A shopping and dining destination. Exhibits and the century-old banyan tree trace the rich heritage of Waikīkī. Entertainment welcomes visitors and kama'aina like myself to this gathering place. I've dined multiple times on the third floor Grand Lānai. Featuring chef-driven restaurants and local cuisine. Casual food concepts line the Kūhīo Avenue Food Hall on the first floor. Breakfast, lunch or dining under the stars. There's something for everyone. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Since reopening in 2016 after a three-year construction phase, I've returned back a handful of times to the International Marketplace. Do I miss the version I grew-up with? Of course. But I understand why redevelopment was sought. It's prime real estate in the heart of Waikīkī. Physical expansion and a multi-million dollar modernization to capture high spending visitors as tourism and revenue shifts in Hawai'i. Honestly, I've shopped and dined at this modern version of the International Marketplace more times than the one I grew up with. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Revisit the International Marketplace like I have and embrace the transformed landscape. As it evokes deep sentimental meaning, a bittersweet clash of cherished history and modern progress. Take a photo by the iconic century-old banyan tree. Become lured by local boutiques along with luxury ones. Relax, shop, dine or people watch while taking in the view. Here, it's not just about spending money, it's about spending time. A space for everyone to create new memories.
