Iced coffee with cream and sugar

Very friendly staff!! I got a pumpernickel bagel with strawberry cream cheese- i'm from NY and determined to find comparable bagels down south and would not say these quite compare. Still very good for a southern bagel! Got an iced coffee too which for a plain iced coffee was also pretty good- no flavors or anything fancy but good quality for sure! Cute places to sit and enjoy too both inside and a few tables out!

Been coming here lately before work. Bummed they are closed Mondays, but other than that it's delicious. Service is great! I love the drive-thru window. Inside is a typical seating area, restaurant style. Nothing fancy. Prices get steep when you start adding things to the bagel. $0.75ea item can rank up a bagel to $11/$12 . ! Crazy! Coffee roast is good, very strong.

I drive by this bagel shop every week on my way to Orlando to volunteer. I have thought about stopping here a few times but never did. Then, I started seeing a lot of positive reviews for it on social media and Yelp. Today, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I finally did. I arrived about fifteen minutes after they opened. The drive-through already had a line of cars so I opted to go inside. The space is bright and welcoming, with about eight booths to sit in and dine. They offer fifteen different bagels and about the same number of spreads. They also have about ten different breakfast sandwiches. I ordered my favorite bagel, the everything bagel, with chive cream cheese. It was delicious. Service was welcoming and quick. I am so glad I finally tried this place and will definitely return.

Stopped on our way out of town. I called in an order for an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. It was ready quickly. I was able to go through the drive through to pick it upo. I loved the bagel texture and that the everything seasoning was on both sides equally! Most places only put it on the top. The cream cheese was light and creamy. I would recommend stopping by for a yummy bagel.

SO yummm! I got the egg sandwich with egg, cheddar cheese and bacon. Toasted. SO good! Light but crunchy and fluffy at the same time. My friend got the lox, that looked so good, too! I would have shared but it disappeared quickly. Hahaha oops. Next time! And I loved all the "up north" accents we ran into. Met some New Yorkers. Fun! Thank you!

Best bagels by far in Duval County. New York style bagels get there early because they usually sell out.

Ask the Community - Joint Bagel Co.

Do they make their own bagels on site?

Yes we make all our dough from scratch daily. We let the dough proof/ferment for 24-48 hrs. All bagels are made fresh daily. We first boil then bake our bagels in a stone hearth oven starting at 2 am every day. The only bagels we do not make here… Read more

The outdoor seating area is a total win--it's perfect for people-watching with a breeze while you fuel up for a walk down St. George Street. I went with a classic plain bagel. The texture was spot on--chewy on the inside with that essential slight crunch on the outside. Sometimes bagel shops treat coffee as an afterthought, but the iced coffee here was smooth, bold, and served over plenty of ice. It stayed cold even in the Florida humidity. The line can look intimidating because the space is small, but the staff moves with impressive speed. I was through the line and outside at a table in less than 10 minutes. They've clearly mastered the "morning rush" flow. If you're visiting on a weekend, get there before 10:00 AM. We came in with 6 adults and 5 toddlers/kids, ready to enjoy breakfast, and instead we were met with some of the rudest behavior I've ever seen in a business. We sat outside, away from the few people inside. My $7 bagel came out burned, and although they remade it, they acted like doing their job was an inconvenience. Quiche was mediocre. I asked for an ice water to go along with my iced latte and the owner pointed to the fridge and said there's bottled water as if I was annoying him. He said they don't have a filter for the tap. How does a coffee shop not provide ice water? Get a filter! After we had finished eating, we took a quick picture of the kids in the swinging chair on the front porch. The male owner came to the doorway and snapped at us for being "too loud." I told him, "They're children. He is 1 years old." and he fired back, "Keep them under control." When I said he must not have kids, he actually scoffed and said "No," as if the idea itself was beneath him. I told him we'd never return, and his wife loudly said from behind the counter inside, "Good!" and "We lost a customer because of you all!" The level of pettiness and hostility was shocking -- especially after we'd already spent a significant amount of money there. This place is run by owners who clearly do not like families, do not understand hospitality, and do not treat customers with even basic respect. There are plenty of places in St. Augustine that are warm, welcoming, and kind. This is absolutely not one of them.
