Sesame Bagel with Plain Cream Cheese

I would definitely recommend for their bagels, which are delicious and LOADED with cream cheese. The French toast and sausage, however had no flavor.

I love a good Bagel place. The cashier was not friendly but had on her Valentine regala. I figure the owner was prepping and making everything bagel. There was no good morning even from him. Im not a loyal customer but I heard about this place. It is tucked away in Mandarin. Bagels R us does have a kiosk to order. I love the fact that the owner lets customers view the orders before they go. I wanted a bagel so came to them for service. They do have a sitting area. The first time is not always a charm but may be back on Satuday or a Sunday! I can not wait to taste my bagel.

Fresh, delicious & hot bagels picked up today on this cold morning in Jax. Great customer service by manager Henry and staff Ana welcoming me back to the store. It sure was cold outside but warm and toasty inside. My pick order today consisted of egg bagels, plain bagels and veggie cream cheese. My family was sure happy to see me return home with my goodie bag. Blessed to have a great local bagel store in my neighborhood!

THIS PLACE IS THEE BEST BAGEL SHOP IN ALL OF JACKSONVILLE. I'm very picky especially when it comes to bagels. This place has everything !!

Ordered this morning. Pros: lots of cream cheese, tasty cream cheese, fast Cons: bagels were hard, bagels didn't seem fresh, food wasn't very warm, no knife to spread the cream cheese, no napkins (cream cheese can be messy) over priced, inside looked dirty and unimpressive Conclusion: cons out weigh the pros therefore I won't be back.

I was pretty surprised to see on a Sunday that they still had plenty of bagel variety left at noon! But I have wished to try this bagel shop for a couple years now! John goes to the hobby shop a few doors down all the time, but never when Bagels R Us is open! The Bagel Art display on the wall made me smile- even if a few bagels had fallen off their mount. I went with an onion bagel and garlic herb cream cheese. I considered the bacon-cheddar cream cheese but the girl behind the counter told me the other one was better! Thanks for the tip. It's actually been a while since I had a big bagel! The cream cheese was lightly smeared on the bagel, but a huge ball of it was in the hole. I ate half right away and saved the other half for later and enjoyed every bite! Can't wait to return and maybe try a bagel sandwich!

This is starting to become a habit for me as the once a week trips to the office are becoming more regular. I've had a tomato and ham bagel melt on an everything and it was excellent. It's also very huge and something that can definitely be shared. Also, it is NOT something you should try to eat while driving. Nonetheless, fantastic and filling. My most recent trip I had the cinnamon crunch bagel toasted with plain cream cheese. I'll agree with Vanessa's review in that I would've liked it a little more toasted. I think toasting is not the norm for truly fresh bagels and I don't doubt their freshness, but I know what I like. To each his own, right? Extra toasty for me next time as well.

Good selection remaining for around 11:30 on a Saturday

I've gone my entire teenaged and adult life ordering maybe 3 burgers over a couple of decades, now…read moreI wake up thinking about the texture, taste, thickness, seasoning and freshness of the beef at Pinegrove Market and Deli! My go-to is the Hoss burger, because I love the onion rings and special sauce, but their steaks (ribeye and tenderloin) are also perfectly aged and fresh off the butcher block. This is a small deli with seating tucked away on a neighborhood street where you're guaranteed to be greeted with a friendly smile by someone willing to answer any questions you may have. It's an older building but they're serving up bistro quality food. The menu is written on the wall to the right of the register, but they also have a printout. If you're prone to decision overwhelm and don't want to order 14 things, you can also look at the menu on their website! If I lived in walking distance, I'd come here twice a week. They also sell beer, wine, salads, sandwiches, and chicken tenders and fried fish! Can you tell I'm obsessed with this place?!

That just means the service, and atmosphere is welcoming to every one. I felt very welcomed and approached by multiple people to ensure my visit was going well. Which feels nice when you're deciding to eat local at a place that is 100% mom and pop vibe. You can choose to eat in, or take to go. I decided to order the 16oz ribeye and sit out on the patio. The patio is not accessible from the inside ordering area. So be aware of that for drink refills and such. But they manage to still bring you your food and check on you occasionally. And for a more of a self serve place, that was more than I was expecting. The steak was cooked to perfection. Not overly seasoned, and I'd say just the right amount. Veggies weren't undercooked or over cooked. I planned on not eating half and saving a little for later. Well it was too good to do that haha. All in all a good meal and can't wait to be back.

I leave this review with a heavy heart! I'm so mad I didn't go here sooner and I am moving down…read moresouth and won't be able to eat here more often! The place is very busy so expect a little delay. The day we went card machine was not working great so a little bit of a longer line. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Tons of goofy things on the walls to look at while you wait for your sub. It's fairly bright inside. Ok on to the food. I ordered the Shane it was fantastic. I didn't realize it was a hot sub but it was still great! My wife order the 904 and as she ate it she started to cry because of how good it was and the fact that we are moving away. We also order the fry/tater tot combo! So dam good! Ask for the fry sauce!!!!!!! Tons of drink options including beer!!!!! I also had the banana pudding not the best I have ever had but pretty dang good. 4.2 out of 5 for banana pudding. I don't give out 5 stars often so you know this place is legit!!

Today my husband and I had an early afternoon date planned out in the beaches area. We don't get…read moreout here often, and decided to grab Angies Subs Official Page. It was a first time visit for both of us. I told the young lady neither of us had been there before and she offered to run through the menu for us which was great. I loved that. She described "The Peruvian" as (her words) "meat heavy". I've heard amazing things in the past about the Peruvian sauce, so that is what I landed on and chose to have it on their onion roll. Hubby went with the "Angie's Philly". I want to preface this with my husband and I had complete opposite opinions and you're going to hear about both of them. For me: When I heard the words "meat heavy" I did expect a larger than normal amount of meat, and maybe thats on me, or a lost in translation example, because in my mind this is not "meat heavy". HOWEVER, before you start angry typing, I REALLY enjoyed my sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and at one point (which I will touch on further down) I looked at my husband and said "Yeah... this is so much better than Larry's". I even put a little extra Peruvian sauce on it while devouring it. The bread was toasted perfectly, had GREAT flavor. I could have easily had a second (or maybe double meat? ) Anyways, zero co.plaints except for the lost in translation expectation. I hope that makes sense. Now, for my husband, who is extremely difficult to please. At first, when our sandwiches were delivered to the table, he was given someone else's sandwich and he ended up having to send it back and wait on his, while I started on mine. Whatever, mistakes happen, shit happens, and we weren't in any kind of rush, so no biggie. When his sandwich arrived and he began to eat it, he was disappointed. He said it doesn't taste like they season the meat at all and it felt bland. He noted that the cheese was melted on top and could have used more cheese chopped and grilled in the meat along with more mayonnaise. He's picky. About halfway though, he said he'd give it a 3 out of 5. Then began to finish the second half and apparently bit into some areas that were burnt and overcooked and dropped it to a 2.5. He said it wasn't bad enough not to complain or send back but not good enough to write home about. So that's the take for today's visit. We would both (especially me) try them out again in the future, and I personally can see why they're so loved.
