    Three Roll Special

We ordered late at night at delivery was fast. Everything was amazing. The sauces were great and so was the quality. We ordered the The Three Roll Special. We will be ordering again soon. Would definitely recommend.

    Chicken Fried Rice

Ordered off uber eats and this place was amazing. The portions were big and tasted great. Highly recommend!

I was wary because of the reviews but this place was delicious! Kind and quick service and a sweet vibe in the restaurant. I will be coming back

    Sashimi deluxe combination

If you're looking for a reasonably priced tasty Japanese meal, this is a solid spot. We got four special rolls, all of which were fun and pretty well balanced, two California rolls, and a sashimi deluxe combo. The sashimi was fresh, sliced thickly with a melt in your mouth texture. They also carry many Japanese beers and sake, including a hot sake that is not on the menu but is a great bang for your buck.

Teriyaki Chicken and General Tso Chicken combo

We ordered through UberEats and this was our first experience with JOA, so I can't really speak to ambiance or service, but the order was prepared promptly for pickup and delivery by Uber. We ordered Veggie Fried Rice, a bogo deal for Teriyaki Chicken and General Tso's Chicken, an extra side of white rice, and an order of Egg Rolls (not pictured). The fried rice had an alright/average taste and texture, but there was very low veggie/egg to rice ratio; the general chicken was dry with almost no sauce; the teriyaki chicken was a bit over cooked; the egg rolls were limp/ undercooked, and, as I found after a bite, are not vegetarian and do contain a white meat. I don't think we'll try this place again (especially through a delivery service).

Chicken and pork with fried rice

We called in an order for pick up of two chicken and pork, one with fried rice and it was $45! Then, the portions I received were VERY upsetting for that price. The fried rice was a joke with only a total of like 8 pieces of carrots/peas and the amount of rice in general was absurd. The pork was so heavy in fat it was just about inedible. They didn't not trim it at all it seems. Both the chicken and pork had a bit too much chard bits and also were swimming in pool of "sauce" in the bottom of the container which was unappetizing. First and last time there. Do not recommend.

Katana is one of our favorite higher end sushi spots and always has a great date night vibe. It was super busy for the holiday, but the staff handled it really well and everything came out quickly. Definitely recommend coming during happy hour because the prices are great and the portions are still full size. We'll have to come back after the baby arrives so I can fully enjoy the experience (and cocktails)

Spicy, flavorful, and the wonton chips were a fun addition. The other rolls, however, didn't feel of the highest quality. We were super excited about the crispy firecracker, but the roll lacked salmon and wasn't a bit spicy. Overall, I probably wouldn't return here. For the price point, there are better options in the area.

The chicken karange was like crispy pillows of chicken, did not need any sort of sauce in my opinion, but to each their own. The kalbi ribs were also cooked perfectly and were downright mouth watering. We also started off with the edamame which was salted well, most places just have it on the top and miss the mark throughout the rest of the dish. We will definitely be back as this has made our rotation before going to Tips games

Today we had a regular chicken teriyaki, a spicy chicken teriyaki, and the broccoli beef. The chicken teriyaki is great, but the spicy chicken teriyaki is on another level. It's hot enough to let you know it's hot, but it isn't so hot that you're leaving in tears. The broccoli beef was delicious too- cooked perfectly. Everything is cooked to order, served piping hot, and tastes FRESH. The gal that takes your order is very respectful and polite. The dining room was spotless, and tables were cleared as soon as they emptied. Having spent nearly 50 years in the Americanized teriyaki capital of the US, I've had my fair share of teriyaki, and this is the best spot hands down. You will not be disappointed.

We first started with some truly amazing Miso Soup. The flavors were so rich and deep -- not like a bland afterthought like many others I've experienced in other teriyaki restaurants. But what I actually ordered was the Bento Box with teriyaki chicken chicken. The Bento was amazing, with the highlight being the amazing Tempura, which was the perfect texture and Chef's Kiss delish. The chicken was sa durned tender, which is how I love it!! But, I want to talk about their ice tea -- I don't know what they do to it, but it was fantastic, with a Jazminey flavor. I know it's really a small thing, but it didn't taste like it came out of a soda machine. I so appreciate the fine details with this little place, and I will DEFINITELY be returning

We ordered the pork bao sliders, Mongolian beef, drunken chicken, pad see ew and garlic noodles. Pork bao sliders were good. Wish I had a tad bit more hoisin sauce on it. I share the same sentiment as others on here that the Mongolian beef was definitely on the sweeter side but it was still pretty good in its own right. I wouldn't consider it Mongolian beef though. Drunken chicken was good. Pad see ew was not what I would consider pad see ew either. It resembled chow funn, but less oily and more sweet. Definitely not your typical pad see ew you get from authentic Thai restaurants. Garlic noodles was good. The service was fast and we got our food fast. Portion sizes were pretty large. Overall the food had more of an American Chinese vibe.
